Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung eines elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Materials, das eine hohe Festigkeit und (hohen) Elastizitätsmodul und ausgezeichnete Wärmebeständigkeit besitzt, und das elektromagnetische Wellen im Bereich von 500 MHz bis 3000 GHZ absorbiert.
- Elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Materialien werden angewandt, um undichte Stellen in Öffnungen von Mikrowellenherden, Elektrowellen-Dunkelkammern usw. zu verhindern. Darüber hinaus werden elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Materialien angewandt als Radarwellen absorbierendes Material, um zu verhindern, daß ein Schiff, Flugzeug usw. durch Radar erkannt wird.
- Es sind verschiedene elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Materialien vorgeschlagen worden.
- Die japanische Patentveröffentlichung 31275/1978 beschreibt ein elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierendes Material, das gebildet worden ist durch Einbau von Ruß und feinen Metallteilchen in ein Harz. Dieses elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material besitzt jedoch geringe Festigkeit und Elastizitätsmodul und kann daher nicht als Baumaterial angewandt werden.
- Die JP-OS 66699/1982 beschreibt ein elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierendes Material, das hergestellt ist aus einem Verbundmaterial, bestehend aus Kohlenstoffasern mit einer komplexen spezifischen Dielektrizitätskonstante von [ε= (8 12)-j(3 5)] bei 10 GHz Frequenzen und einem Harz.
- Da die Kohlenstoffaser metallische Leitung zeigt, nimmt ihr spezifischer Widerstand mit steigender Temperatur zu. Daher verringert sich ihre Eigenschaft, elektromagnetische Wellen zu absorbieren, weitgehend. Das elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material muß elektromagnetische Wellen über einen weiten Temperaturbereich absorbieren. Von diesem Gesichtspunkt aus ist das in der obigen JP-OS beschriebene elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material praktisch nicht zufriedenstellend.
- Die EP-A-206536 beschreibt ein mit anorganischen Fasern verstärktes Kunststoff-Verbundmaterial, bestehend aus Kunststoff und einer amorphen oder mikrokristallinen anorganischen Faser, bestehend aus Silicium, Kohlenstoff, Titan oder Zirkonium und Sauerstoff. Die europäische Patentveröffentlichung sagt jedoch nichts in bezug auf den spezifischen Widerstand der angewandten anorganischen Faser, nochi irgend etwas über die Tatsache, daß ein Verbundmaterial, bestehend aus einer anorganischen Faser mit einem speziellen spezifischen Widerstand und Kunststoff, als elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierendes Material verwendet werden kann.
- Die GB-A-2117569 beschreibt einen Absorber für elektromagnetische Wellen, umfassend eine elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Schicht, bestehend im wesentlichen aus Siliciumcarbidfasern, wobei die Schicht auf eine Metallplatte aufgebracht werden kann. Die Siliciumcarbidfasern können zu gewebten Stoften, Vliesstoffen oder ähnlichem verarbeitet werden, die laminiert und anschließend nit einem synthetischen Harz oder Keramikmaterialien zu einem Verbundmaterial verarbeitet werden können, um die Wellen absorbierende Schicht herzustellen.
- Die EP-A-238291 beschreibt einen Absorber für elektromagnetische Wellen, umfassend eine Oberflächenschicht, hergestellt aus einem Verbundmaterial aus Fasern mit einem spezifischen elektrischen Widerstand von mehr als 10&sup4; Ω cm, und einer Wellen absorbierenden Schicht aus einem Verbundmaterial, enthaltend Siliciumcarbidfasern mit einem spezifischen elektrischen Widerstand von 10&supmin;² bis 10&sup4; Ω cm.
- Die Erfindung möchte die Verwendung eines Materials zum Absorbieren von elektromagnetischen Wellen liefern, wobei das Material ausgezeichnete Absorption von elektromagnetischen Wellen über einen weiten Temperaturbereich zeigt.
- Die Erfindung möchte auch die Verwendung eines Materials zum Absorbieren von elektromagnetischen Wellen liefern, wobei das Material eine geeignete Festigkeit und Elastizitätsmodul zur Verwendung als Baumaterial bzw. Strukturmaterial besitzt.
- Die Erfindung betrifft daher die Verwendung eines Verbundmaterials, umfassend eine Faser mit einem spezifischen Widerstand von 10&supmin;² bis 10² Ω cm und eine Kunststoff- oder Keramikmatrix, um elektromagnetische Wellen zu absorbieren, wobei die Faser aus einer anorganischen Substanz besteht, ausgewählt aus
- i) einer amorphen Substanz, bestehend im wesentlichen aus Si, M, C und O;
- ii) kristallinen ultrafeinen Teilchen, bestehend im wesentlichen aus β-SiC, C, MC, einer festen Lösung von β-SiC und MC und/oder MC1-x, nit einem Teilchendurchmesser von nicht mehr als 50 nm (500 Å) oder einem Aggregat der kristallinen ultrafeinen Teilchen, amorphem SiO&sub2; und amorphem MO&sub2;; und
- iii) einem Gemisch der obigen i) amorphen Substanz mit den obigen ii) kristallinen ultrafeinen Teilchen oder Aggregaten; wobei M Ti oder Zr bedeutet und x mehr als 0 aber weniger 1 ist.
- Die Erfindung liefert die Verwendung eines elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Materials, bestehend aus einem Verbundmaterial, umfassend eine Faser und eine Matrix, das wirksam Mikrowellen im Bereich von 500 MHz bis 3000 GHz absorbiert.
- Die in dem elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Material nach der Erfindung verwendete Faser kann z.B. hergestellt worden sein nach einem Verfahren, wie es in den US-PS 4 342 712 und 4 345 742 beschrieben ist.
- Die obige Faser kann hergestellt werden, indem man zunächst Polycarbosilan, das hauptsächlich aus (Si-CH&sub2;)-Bindungseinheiten besteht und ein mittleres zahlenmäßiges Molekulargewicht von 200 bis 10 000 besitzt, und Titanalkoxid oder Zirkoniumalkoxid unter einer inerten Atmosphäre unter Wärme umsetzt, um mindestens einen Teil der Siliciumatome des Polycarbosilans an Titan oder Zirkonium der obigen Alkoxide über Sauerstoffatome zu binden, wodurch Polytitanocarbosilan oder Polyzirkonocarbosilan mit einem mittleren zahlenmäßigen Molekulargewicht von 1000 bis 50 000 gebildet wird, und anschließend eine Spinnlösung aus dem Polytitanocarbosilan oder Polyzirkonocarbosilan herstellt, eine Faser aus der Lösung spinnt, die Faser unschmelzbar macht und schließlich die unschmelzbare Faser einer Wärmebehandlung unter Vakuum, Inertgas oder reduzierendem Gas bei 1300 bis 1500ºC unterwirft. Wenn die Temperatur bei der obigen Wärmebehandlung innerhalb des obigen Temperaturbereichs zunimmt, nimmt der spezifische Widerstand der erhaltenen Faser ab.
- Die in dem elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Material nach der Erfindung anwendbare Faser kann auch hergestellt werden nach dem anderen in den US-PS 4 342 712 und 4 345 742 angegebenen Verfahren.
- Das heißt, das in diesen Patentschriften beschriebene Verfahren umfaßt das Erhitzen von Polycarbosilan mit einem mittleren zahlenmäßigen Molekulargewicht von 500 bis 1000 und Polytitanocarbosilan oder Polyzirkonocarbosilan mit einem mittleren zahlenmäßigen Molekulargewicht von 500 bis 1000 in einem organischen Lösungsmittel unter Inertgasatmosphäre, um mindestens einen Teil der Siliciumatome des Polycarbosilans mit Siliciumatomen, Titanatomen oder Zirkoniumatomen des Polytitanocarbosilans oder Polyzirkonocarbosilans über Sauerstoffatome zu verbinden, wo durch ein organisches Siliciumpolymer hergestellt wird, anschließendes Herstellen einer Spinnlösung aus diesem Polymer, Spinnen einer Faser aus der Lösung, Unschmelzbarmachen der gesponnenen Faser und schließlich Wärmebehandlung der unschmelzbaren Faser unter Vakuum, Inertgas oder reduzierendem Gas bei 1300 bis 1500ºC.
- Die Anteile der Elemente in der Faser sind im allgemeinen wie folgt:
- Si : 28 bis 60 Gew.-%
- C : 23 bis 60 Gew.-%
- Ti oder Zr : 0,5 bis 30 Gew.-%
- O : 1 bis 30 Gew.-%.
- Es besteht keine spezielle Begrenzung bezüglich der Form der Faser. Eine kontinuierliche Faser mit einem Durchmesser von 5 bis 15 um ist jedoch bevorzugt, um ein elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierendes Material mit guten mechanischen Eigenschaften und elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Eigenschaften zu erhalten.
- Beispiele für die Fasern sind solche, die monoaxial oder multiaxial orientiert sind, oder die verschiedene Stoffe wie solche mit Leinenbindung, elastisches Satinband, Stoffe mit Köperbindung, Drehhaargewebe, Spiralbindung, dreidimensionale Bindung usw. sind.
- Die Matrix zur Verwendung in dem elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Material kann aus Kunststoff oder Keramikmaterialien bestehen.
- Beispiele für die Kunststoffmatrix umfassen Epoxyharz, Polyurethanharz, Polyamidharz, Polycarbonatharz, Siliconharz, Phenoxyharz, Polyphenylensulfidharz, fluorhaltiges Harz, Kohlenwasserstoffharz, halogenhaltiges Harz, Harz vom Acrylsäuretyp, Acrylnitril/Butadien/Styrol-Harz und ultrahochmolekulares Polyethylen.
- Von den obigen angegeben Kunstoffmatrices wird bevorzugt Epoxyharz angewandt. Das Epoxyharz ist eine Harzmasse, bestehend aus Polyepoxid, Härtungsmittel, Härtungskatalysator usw.
- Beispiele für das Polyepoxid umfassen eine Glycidylverbindung von Bisphenol A, F und S, eine Glycidylverbindung von Kresolnovolak oder Phenolnovolak, alicyclisches Polyepoxid usw.. Die anderen Beispiele für das Polyepoxid umfassen eine Glycidylverbindung von Polyphenol, mehrwertigem Alkohol oder aromatischem Amin.
- Von diesen Polyepoxiden werden im allgemeinen eine Glycidylverbindung von Bisphenol A, eine Glycidylverbindung von Diiminodiphenylmethan und eine Glycidylverbindung von Aminophenol verwendet. Wenn das elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material nach der Erfindung verwendet wird als ein Teilematerial, das hohe Funktionen erfordert, wie als primäres Struktur- bzw. Baumaterial für Flugzeuge, ist es bevorzugt, Glycidylverbindungen von mehrwertigen Aminen, wie Diiminodiphenylmethan, zu verwenden.
- Beispiele für die keramische Matrix umfassen Carbid-keramische Materialien wie Siliciumcarbid, Titancarbid, Zirkoniumcarbid, Niobcarbid, Tantalcarbid, Borcarbid, Chromcarbid, Wolframcarbid, Molybdäncarbid usw.; keramische Nitridmaterialien wie Siliciumnitrid, Titannitrid, Zirkoniumnitrid, Vanadiumnitrid, Niobnitrid, Tantalnitrid, Bornitrid, Hafniumnitrid usw.; keramische Oxide wie Tonerde, Magnesia, Mullit, Cordierit usw..
- Wenn die Matrix aus Kunststoff besteht, kann das Verbundmaterial hergestellt werden durch ein Hand-Schicht-Verfahren, ein angepaßtes Metallspritzkopf-Verfahren, Abbrech-Verfahren, Faserdreh-Verfahren, Heißpreß-Verfahren, Selbstbrech-Verfahren, kontinuierliches Zieh-Verfahren usw..
- Wenn die Matrix aus Keranikmaterialien besteht, ist ein Verfahren die Herstellung eines Aggregats aus einer Faser und Keramikpulver und Sintern des Aggregats. Zur Herstellung des obigen Aggregats können solche Verfahren angewandt werden, wie abwechselndes Einbetten eines Keramikpulvers, Einfüllen eines Keramikpulvers in die durch vorher angeordnete Fasern entstandenen Leerräume, usw..
- Das erfindungsgemäß angewandte elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material besitzt eine Struktur, die im allgemeinen gebildet wird durch Anordnen der obigen Fasern mit verschiedenen Formen in die Matrix zur Herstellung von Verbundmaterialien und integrales Laminieren einer Mehrzahl der erhaltenen Verbundmaterialien. Besonders bevorzugt ist eine Struktur, die gebildet worden ist nach einem Verfahren, umfassend das Laminieren einer Mehrzahl von Verbundmaterialien, die hergestellt worden sind durch monoaxiales Anordnen von Fasern. Beispiele für das Laminierungsverfahren umfassen solche des Laminierens von Verbundmaterialien, so daß die Richtungen der Fasern übereinstimmen, Laminieren von Verbundmaterialien, so daß die Richtung der Fasern des einen Verbundmaterials abwechselnd im rechten Winkel zu der Faserrichtung des anderen Verbundmaterials steht, usw.. Das letztere Verfahren ist bevorzugt, um gute elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Eigenschaften zu erhalten.
- Das elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material besitzt eine Dicke im allgemeinen von 1 bis 10 mm. Der Anteil der Faser in dem elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Material beträgt vorzugsweise 30 bis 80 Vol.-%, insbesondere 45 bis 65 Vol.-%.
- Das elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material kann eine Struktur besitzen, die gebildet worden ist durch Laminieren eines elektromagnetische Wellen durchlassenden Materials auf der Oberfläche, durch die die elektromagnetischen Wellen kommen.
- Es ist bekannt, daß, wenn eine elektromagnetische Welle mit einem Material in Berührung kommt, das eine Dielektrizitätskonstante besitzt, die wesentlich größer ist als diejenige von Luft, die Reflektion der elektromagnetischen Wellen von der Oberflächenschicht zunimmt. Bei einem elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Material ist es erforderlich, daß die Reflektion von der Oberfläche sehr gering ist. Wenn die Laminierungsstruktur so gebildet wird, daß die Dielektrizitätskonstante nach und nach von der Oberfläche nach innen größer wird, nimmt außerdem die Reflektion von elektromagnetischen WeLlen von der Oberflächenschicht stark ab.
- Beispiele für das elektromagnetische Wellen durchlassende Material, das in Kombination mit dem elektromagnetischen Wellen absorbierenden Material verwendet werden kann, umfassen mit Glasfasern oder aromatischen Polyamidfasern verstärkte Polyesterharze.
- Ein bevorzugt verwendbares elektromagnetische Wellen durchlassendes Material ist ein Verbundmaterial, umfassend eine Faser, bestehend aus einer im wesentlichen amorphen Substanz, hergestellt aus Silicium, Kohlenstoff, Titan oder Zirkonium und Sauerstoff, mit einem spezifischen Widerstand von 10&sup5; bis 10¹&sup0; Ω cm und einer Matrix.
- Die obige Faser kann auf die gleiche Weise hergestellt werden, wie bei der Herstellung der Faser für das elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material angegeben, mit der Ausnahme, daß die unschmelzbare Faser einer Wärmebehandlung bei 800 bis 1300ºC unterworfen wird und daß die Zeit des Erhitzens entsprechend gewählt wird.
- Die Anteile der obigen Elemente zur Verwendung in dem elektromagnetische Wellen durchlassenden Material sind im allgemeinen wie folgt:
- Si : 26 bis 58 Gew.-%
- C : 25 bis 62 Gew.-%
- Ti oder Zr: 0,5 bis 30 Gew.-%
- O : 1 bis 30 Gew.-%.
- Die Matrix und das Verbundmaterial aus der Faser und der Matrix werden auf die gleiche Weise hergestellt, wie bei der Herstellung für das elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material angegeben
- Die Schicht aus dem elektromagnetische Wellen durchlassenden Material, die gebildet worden ist durch Laminieren dieses Materials auf das elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material, besitzt üblicherweise eine Dicke von 0,1 bis 5 mm. Der Anteil der Fasern in dem elektromagnetische Wellen durchlassenden Material beträgt vorzugsweise 30 bis 80 Vol.-%, insbesondere 45 bis 65 Vol.-%.
- Das elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material kann Mikrowellen von 500 MHz bis 3000 GHz, insbesondere Mikrowellen von 2 bis 20 GHz, absorbieren. Die Faser in dem elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Material nach der Erfindung hat Halbleitereigenschaften, sehr geringe Aktivierungsenergie, 0,01 eV, elektrische Leitfähigkeit und zeigt keine Veränderung in den elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Eigenschaften, selbst bei Temperaturveränderungen. Daher zeigt das elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material nach der Erfindung ausgezeichnete Wirkung zur Absorption von elektromagnetischen Wellen über einen weiten Temperaturbereich. Ferner besitzt das elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material nach der Erfindung hohe Festigkeit und (hohen) Elastizitätsmodul und ausgezeichnete Hitzebeständigkeit, und kann daher als primäres Baumaterial für Schiffe, Flugzeuge usw. verwendet werden.
- Die folgenden Beispiele erläutern die Erfindung. In den Beispielen wurde die Stärke der Reflektionsverringerung einer elektromagnetischen Welle in einem elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Material In bezug auf eine 22,86 mm 10,16 mm 2,00 mm Probe gemessen unter Verwendung einer einen 5-Parameter messenden Vorrichtung, hergestellt von Yokogawa-Hewlett- Packard, Ltd.. Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einer einen 5-Parameter messenden Vorrichtung HP8515A, einem Netzwerkanalysator HP8510 und einer zusammengestellten Abtastvorrichtung (synthesized sweeper) HP8340A. Die Stärke der Reflektionsabschwächung (db) eines elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierenden Materials wurde bei 25ºC gemessen.
- 2,5 l wasserfreies Xylol und 400 g Natrium wurden unter einem Stickstoffstrom bis zum Siedepunkt des Xylols erhitzt und 1 l Dimethylchlorsilan während 1 h zugetropft. Nach der Zugabe wurde das Gemisch 10 h unter Rückfluß erhitzt, um einen Niederschlag zu bilden. Der Niederschlag wurde abfiltriert und mit Methanol und anschließend mit Wasser gewaschen und ergab 420 g eines weißen Pulvers von Polydimethylsilan.
- Das obige Polydimethylsilan wurde in einen Kolben mit einem Gaseinlaßrohr, Rührer, Rlckflußkühler und Destillationsauslaßrohr gegeben und unter Stickstoffstrom unter Rühren bei 420ºC behandelt und ergab 350 g einer farblosen transparenten und gering viskosen Flüssigkeit in einer Destillationsvorlage. Die Flüssigkeit besaß ein mittleres zahlenmäßiges Molekulargewicht, gemessen nach dem Dampfdruck-Infiltrationsverfahren, von 470. Die Messung des IR-Spektrums zeigte, daß diese Substanz ein organisches Siliciumpolymer mit einer Gesamtzahl von gebundenen (Si-CH&sub2;)-Einheiten pro Gesamtzahl der gebundenen (Si-Si)-Einheiten von 1:3 war.
- 3 g Polybordiphenylsiloxan wurden zu 100 g des obigen organischen Siliciumpolymers zugegeben und das Gemisch thermisch bei 350ºC kondensiert unter Bildung eines Polycarbosilans mit einer Hauptkette, bestehend im wesentlichen aus Carbosilaneinheiten der Formel (Si-CH&sub2;) und einem Wasserstoffatom und einer Methylgruppe an dem Siliciumatom der Carbosilaneinheit.
- Tetrabutoxytitan wurde zu dem erhaltenen Polycarbosilan zugegeben und das Gemisch unter Stickstoffatmosphäre bei 340ºC unter Bildung von Vernetzungen polymerisiert und ergab ein Polytitanocarbosilan, bestehend aus 100 Teilen (Si-Si)-Einheiten und 10 Teilen (Ti-O)-Einheiten. Dieses Polymer wurde schmelzgesponnen und die gesponnene Faser an der Luft bei 190ºC behandelt, um sie unschmelzbar zu machen, und dann unter Stickstoffatmosphäre bei 1500ºC gebrannt.
- Die erhaltene Faser (Faser[I]) besaß einen Durchmesser von 10 um, eine Zugfestigkeit von 300 kg/mm², einen Zugelastizitätsmodul von 16 t/mm² und einen spezifischen Widerstand von 1,5 Ω cm.
- Das Verfahren des Bezugsbeispiels 1 wurde wiederholt, mit der Ausnahme, daß eine Faser, die wie in Bezugsbeispiel 1 unschmelzbar gemacht worden war, bei 1200ºC gebrannt wurde, wobei eine Faser [II] erhalten wurde.
- Die erhaltene Faser [II] besaß einen Durchmesser von 10 um, eine Zugfestigkeit von 280 kg/mm², einen Zugelastizitätsmodul von 15,5 g/mm² und einen spezifischen Widerstand von 2 10&sup5; Ω cm.
- Das Verfahren des Bezugsbeispiels 1 wurde wiederholt, mit der Ausnahme, daß eine Faser, die wie in Bezugsbeispiel 1 unschmelzbar gemacht worden war, bei 1050ºC gebrannt wurde, wobei man eine Faser [III] erhtelt.
- Die erhaltene Faser [III] besaß einen Durchmesser von 10,5 um, eine Zugfestigkeit von 260 kg/mm², einen Zugelastizitätsmodul von 15 t/mm² und einen spezifischen Widerstand von 3 10&sup7; Ω cm.
- Das Verfahren des Bezugsbeispiels 1 wurde wiederholt, mit der Ausnahme, daß eine Faser, die wie in Bezugsbeispiel 1 unschmelzbar gemacht worden war, bei 1400ºC gebrannt wurde, wobei man eine Faser [IV] erhielt.
- Die erhaltene Faser [IV] besaß einen Durchmesser von 10 um, eine Zugfestigkeit von 305 kg/mm², einen Zugelastizitätsmodul von 16,5 t/mm² und einen spezifischen Widerstand von 40 Ω cm.
- Zirkoniumtetrabutoxid wurde zu einem Polycarbosilan zugegeben, das auf die gleiche Weise wie in Bezugsbeispiel 1 hergestellt worden war, und das Gemisch wurde unter Vernetzung polymerisiert unter Stickstoffatmosphäre bei 250ºC unter Bildung eines Polyzirkonocarbosilans, bestehend aus 100 Teilen (Si-CH²)-Einheiten und 10 Teilen (Zr-O)-Einheiten. Dieses Polymer wurde schmelzgesponnen, und die gesponnene Faser wurde an der Luft bei 190ºC behandelt, um sie unschmelzbar zu machen, und dann unter Stickstoffatmosphäre bei 1500ºC gebrannt.
- Die erhaltene Faser (Faser [V]) besaß einen Durchmesser von 10 um, eine Zugfestigkeit von 310 kg/mm², einen Zugelastizitätsmodul von 16,5 t/mm² und einen spezifischen Widerstand von 2,0 Ω cm.
- 100 Gew.-Teile Epoxyharz vom Bisphenol A-Typ (XB 2879A von Ciba Geigy) und 20 Gew.-Teile Dicyanamid-Härtungsmittel (XB 2879B von Ciba Geigy) wurden gleichförmig miteinander vermischt und das Gemisch dann in einem gemischten Lösungsmittel aus Methylcellulose und Aceton (1:1) gelöst, um eine Lösung mit 28 Gew.-% des obigen Gemisches in dem obigen Lösungsmittelgemisch herzustellen.
- Die Faser [I] wurde in die obige Lösung getaucht, dann in einer Richtung aufgenommen unter Anwendung eines Trommelwicklers und in einem Ofen mit umlaufender Heißluft 14 min bei 100ºC erhitzt, um ein Prepreg in halbgehärtetem Zustand herzustellen. Das Prepreg besaß einen Harzgehalt von 50 Vol.-% und eine Dicke von 0,2 mm.
- 11 Bahnen des Prepregs wurden so laminiert, daß die Faserrichtung der einen Bahn im rechten Winkel zu der Richtung der Faser einer anderen angrenzenden Bahn stand, und das Laminat wurde bei 130ºC und einem Preßdruck von 11 kg/cm² 90 min verpreßt, um ein Verbundmaterial A mit einer Größe von 250 mm 250 mm 2 mm zu erhalten.
- Getrennt wurde das obige Verfahren wiederholt, mit der Ausnahme, daß die Faser [II] verwendet wurde, um ein Prepreg mit einem Harzgehalt von 50 Vol.-% und einer Dicke von 0,2 mm herzustellen. Dann wurden 16 Bahnen des Prepregs verwendet und das obige Verfahren wiederholt unter Bildung eines Verbundmaterials B mit einer Größe von 250 mm 250 mm 2 mm.
- Ein Verbundmaterial A' und ein Verbundmaterial B', jeweils mit einer Größe von 22,86 mm 10,16 mm 2 mm, wurden aus den obigen Verbundmaterialien A und B ausgeschnitten, und diese beiden Verbundmaterialien wurden miteinander verklebt mit Hilfe einer Epoxylösung, die zur Herstellung des Prepregs verwendet worden war, so daß die Richtungen der Fasern in der gleichen Richtung angeordnet waren, um ein elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierendes Material zu erhalten.
- Wenn eine Mikrowelle in das obige elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material von der Seite des Verbundmaterials, enthaltend die Faser [II], eingeleitet wurde, zeigte das Material eine Abschwächung der Reflektionsstärke von nicht weniger als 15 db (Reflektion von nicht mehr als 3,2%) in einem Frequenzbereich von 5 bis 20 GHz. Dieses Material zeigte bei einer ähnlichen Messung bei 150ºC eine Reflektionsabschwächung in einer Stärke, die etwa die gleiche war wie der obige Wert.
- Das obige elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material besaß eine Biegefestigkeit von 102 kg/mm² und eine Zugfestigkeit von 95 kg/mm², gemessen in Faserrichtung.
- Beispiel 1 wurde wiederholt, mit der Ausnahme, daß die Faser [III] anstelle der Faser [II] verwendet wurde, um das Verbundmaterial C herzustellen.
- Dann wurde ein elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierendes Material aus dem obigen Verbundmaterial C und dem Verbundmaterial A, das nach Beispiel 1 erhalten worden war, auf die gleiche Weise wie in Beispiel 1 hergestellt.
- Wenn eine Mikrowelle in das obige elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material von der Seite des Verbundmaterials, enthaltend die Faser [III], eingeleitet wurde, zeigte das Material eine Abschwächung der Reflektion in einer Stärke von 40 db bei 10 GHz.
- Das obige elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material besaß eine Biegefestigkeit von 108 kg/mm² und eine Zugfestigkeit von 97 kg/mm², gemessen in Faserrichtung.
- Beispiel 1 wurde wiederholt, mit der Ausnahme, daß die Faser [IV] anstelle der Faser [I] verwendet wurde, um ein Prepreg mit einem Harzgehalt von 50 Vol.-% und einer Dicke von 0,2 mm herzustellen. Das Verfahren des Beispiels 1 wurde wiederholt, mit der Ausnahme, daß 16 Bahnen des obigen Prepregs angewandt wurden, um ein elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierendes Material, bestehend aus einem Verbundmaterial D, mit einer Größe von 250 mm 250 mm 3 mm herzustellen.
- Wenn eine Mikrowelle in das obige elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material eingeleitet wurde, zeigte dieses Material eine Abschwächung der Reflektion in einer Stärke von 30 db bei 10 GHz.
- Das obige elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material besaß eine Biegefestigkeit von 105 kg/mm² und eine Zugfestigkeit von 96 kg/mm², gemessen in Faserrichtung.
- Beispiel 1 wurde wiederholt, mit der Ausnahme, daß die Faser [V] anstelle der Faser [I] verwendet wurde, um ein elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierendes Material herzustellen.
- Wenn eine Mikrowelle in das obige elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material von der Seite des Verbundmaterials, enthaltend die Faser [II], eingeleitet wurde, zeigte das Material eine Abschwächung der Reflektion in einer Stärke von nicht weniger als 14 db in einem Frequenzbereich von 5 bis 20 GHz.
- Das obige elektromagnetische Wellen absorbierende Material besaß eine Biegefestigkeit von 105 kg/mm² und eine Zugfestigkeit von 96 kg/mm², gemessen in Faserrichtung.
Claims (11)
1. Verwendung eines Verbundmaterials, umfassend eine Faser
mit einem spezifischen Widerstand von 10&supmin;² bis 10² Ω cm und
eine Kunststoff- oder Keramikmatrix, um elektromagnetische
Wellen zu absorbieren, wobei die Faser aus einer anorganischen
Substanz besteht, ausgewählt aus
i) einer amorphen Substanz, bestehend im wesentlichen
aus Si, M, C und O;
ii) kristallinen ultrafeinen Teilchen, bestehend im
wesentlichen aus β-SiC, C, MC, einer festen Lösung von β-SiC und
MC und/oder MC1-x , mit einem Teilchendurchmesser von nicht mehr
als 50 mm (500 Å) oder einem Aggregat der kristallinen
ultrafeinen Teilchen, amorphem SiO&sub2; und amorphem MO&sub2;; und
iii) einem Gemisch der obigen i) amorphen Substanz mit den
obigen ii) kristallinen ultrafeinen Teilchen oder Aggregaten;
wobei M Ti oder Zr bedeutet und x mehr als 0 aber weniger 1
ist.
2. Verwendung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die absorbierten
elektromagnetischen Wellen im Bereich von 500 MHz bis 3000 GHz
liegen.
3. Verwendung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Anteile der
Elemente in der Faser wie folgt sind:
Si : 28 bis 60 Gew.-%
C : 23 bis 60 Gew.-%
Ti oder Zr : 0,5 bis 30 Gew.-%
O : 1 bis 30 Gew.-%.
4. Verwendung nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, wobei
die Faser eine anorganische Endlosfaser mit einem Durchmesser
von 5 bis 15 um ist
5. Verwendung nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, wobei
der Anteil der Faser in dem Verbundmaterial 30 bis 80 Vol.-%
beträgt.
6. Verwendung nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, wobei
das Material ein Laminat einer Mehrzahl von Schichten,
bestehend aus der Faser und Matrix, umfaßt.
7. Laminat, umfassend ein Material wie in einem der
vorangehenden Ansprüche angewandt, laminiert mit der Oberfläche
eines elektromagnetische Wellen durchlassenden Materials.
8. Laminat nach Anspruch 7, wobei das elektromagnetische
Wellen durchlassende Material ein mit Glasfasern oder aromatischen
Polyamidfasern verstärktes Polyesterharz ist.
9. Laminat nach Anspruch 7, wobei das elektromagnetische
Wellen durchlassende Material aus einer im wesentlichen amorphen
Fasern aus Silicium, Kohlenstoff, Titan oder Zirkon und
Sauerstoff mit einem spezifischen Widerstand von 10&sup5; bis 10¹&sup0; Ω cm
und einer Kunststoff- oder Keramikmatrix besteht.
10. Laminat nach Anspruch 9, wobei die Anteile der Elemente in
der im wesentlichen amorpnen Faser wie folgt sind:
Si : 26 bis 58 Gew.-%
C : 25 bis 62 Gew.-%
Ti oder Zr : 0,5 bis 30 Gew.-%
O : 1 bis 30 Gew.-%.
11. Laminat nach Anspruch 9 oder 10, wobei der Anteil der
Faser in dem elektromagnetische Wellen durchlassenden Material
30 bis 80 Vol-% beträgt.
