Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine gattungsgemäße Vorrichtung nach
dem Oberbegriff des einzigen Patentanspruchs.
Derartige Papierrollen besitzen im allgemeinen einen hohlen
zylindrischen Kern, so daß das Papier kontinuierlich aus
einem entsprechenden Halter entnommen werden kann. Die
zylindrische Form der Rolle und des hohlen Kerns bedeutet
jedoch eine Verschwendung von Lade- und Lagerraum. Die
Transport- und Lagerkosten sind dementsprechend sehr hoch,
insbesondere unter Berücksichtigung des relativ niedrigen
Verkaufswerts einer derartigen Papierrolle. Auch beim Export
von Papierrollen hat eine Verminderung der Fracht- und
Lagerkosten eine große Bedeutung.
Aus der US-PS 864 975 ist eine gattungsgemäße Vorrichtung
bekannt, in der zylindrische Papierrollen mittels einer
Preßkammer, die von zwei Seitenplatten, einer Kopfplatte und
einer am oberen Ende einer beweglichen Druckstange angeord
neten Druckplatte gebildet wird, in eine im wesentlichen
rechteckige Form verformt werden.
Auch aus der US-PS 3 537 226 ist es bekannt, zylindrisch
aufgerolltes Bandmaterial zur Verringerung des Volumens bei
Transport und Lagerung flach zu drücken. Die US-PS 38 37 138
beschreibt das quaderförmige Verpressen von Packgut unter
Druck zur Verringerung des Volumens, wobei das aufgerollte
Preßgut unter Ausbildung seitlicher Ausbauchungen eine flache
Form annimmt.
Aus der DE-AS 12 29 442 ist schließlich eine Vorrichtung zum
Zusammenpressen von zu verpackenden Näpfchenpralinen bekannt,
welche einen umlaufenden Drehtisch mit mehreren sich radial
nach außen erstreckenden Preßkammern aufweist, wobei mittels
Walzen über eine Exzenterkurve gesteuerte Druckelemente die
Näpfchenpralinen in den Preßkammern zusammengedrückt werden.
Demgegenüber liegt der vorliegenden Erfindung die Aufgabe
zugrunde, eine Vorrichtung der genannten Art zu schaffen,
die kontinuierlich mit einem höheren Durchsatz arbeitet.
Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe durch die im kennzeichnen
den Teil des einzigen Patentanspruchs angegebenen Merkmale
gelöst.
Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung weist um eine umlaufende
Trommel herum angeordnet Druckstangen mit an ihrem unteren
Ende angeordneten Walzen auf. Diese Walzen stehen in Kontakt
mit einem Exzenter, wobei durch den Umlauf der Trommel um
den feststehenden Exzenter der Hub der Druckstangen und
damit die auf die in den am oberen Ende der Druckstange
angeordneten Preßkammer enthaltene Papierrolle ausgeübte
Druckkraft.
Die Preßkammer weist zwei Seitenplatten, eine Kopfplatte und
eine am oberen Ende der Druckstange angeordnete Druckplatte
sowie eine zu öffnenden Deckel zur Aufnahme und Entnahme der
Papierrollen auf. Vorzugsweise ist in der Kammer ein Mittel
zum Positionieren der Papierrolle vorgesehen.
Eine außerhalb des Deckels vorgesehene weitere Walze stützt
sich während des Umlaufs der Trommel an einen über einen
Teil des Umfangs der Trommel im Abstand konzentrisch fest
angeordneten Rahmen ab.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird anhand der beiliegenden Zeichnung
näher erläutert. Dabei zeigt:
Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht der bevorzugten Ausführungs
form der vorliegenden Erfindung; und
Fig. 2 eine vergrößerte Teilansicht der in Fig. 1 in
Position 61 dargestellten Einheit der erfin
dungsgemäßen Vorrichtung.
Wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt, ist eine Preßkammer 50 zum Pressen
von Papierrollen kontinuierlich von einer Position 51 bis zu
einer Position 62 drehbar. Die Preßkammern 50 weisen Seiten
platten 63 und 64, einen Deckel 65, eine obere Walze 66,
eine Druckplatte 67, eine Druckstange 68, ein Lager 69 für
die Druckstange 68 und eine untere Walze 70 auf. Die Seiten
platten 63 und 64 sind an ihren gegenüberliegenden Seiten an
einem sich von einer umlaufenden Trommel 85 nach außen
erstreckenden Flansch 71 befestigt. Die Seitenplatten 63 und
64 bilden so die Vorder- und Rückseite der Preßkammern. Eine
der Seitenplatten ist mit einem Element zum Positionieren
der Papierrollen versehen, etwa einem Positionierungsblock
72. Dieses Element bestimmt die Position der Papierrolle,
die in die Preßkammer eingebracht worden ist, bevor der
Preßvorgang beginnt. Eine Drehachse 73 zum Öffnen und
Schließen des Deckels 65 ist an einem Ende der Seitenplatte
63 auf deren Rückwand angebracht, der Deckel 65 ist an dieser
Drehachse drehbar befestigt. Ein Hebel 74 zum Schließen des
Deckels 65 ist an dem Deckel 65 auf einer Seite der Drehachse
73 vorgesehen.
In dem von der Druckplatte 67, den Seitenplatten 63 und 64
und dem Flansch 71 definierten Innenraum der Preßkammer 50
bewegt sich die Druckplatte 67 innerhalb eines bestimmten
Bereiches, wodurch die Papierrolle in der Preßkammer 50
gepreßt wird. Der Bewegungsbereich wird durch die in dem
Lager 69 geführte Druckstange 68 bestimmt. Die Bewegung der
Druckstange 68 wird durch den Kontakt zwischen der unteren
Walze 70 und einem Exzenter 75 bestimmt. Der Exzenter 75 ist
auf einer festen Welle 76 angebracht, während die Preßkammern
50 mit dem Flansch 71 drehbar sind. Die oberen Walzen 66 der
Preßkammern 50 bewegen sich in Kontakt mit der Innenfläche
eines Rahmens 77, der konzentrisch um die Welle 76 herum
angeordnet ist. Eine Entnahmeposition 58 ist hinter dem Ende
des Rahmens 77 angeordnet; eine Stützschiene 78 für die
Walzen 70 der Druckstangen 68 ist in dem Bereich, der von
dem Rahmen 77 nicht abgedeckt ist, zwischen der Position 57
und der Position 62, an der der Rahmen 77 beginnt, angeord
net. An der Entnahmeposition 58 wird die Preßkammer 50 von
der Stützschiene 78 abgestützt. Der Deckel 65 wird aufgrund
seiner Schwerkraft automatisch nach unten geöffnet, ein
Entnahmewerkzeug 80 für die gepreßte Papierrolle 79 und ein
Förderband 81 zum Abtransport der gepreßten Papierrolle sind
direkt unterhalb der Preßkammer 50 angeordnet. Eine Zuführ
platte 82 und ein Zuführwerkzeug 83 sind schräg oberhalb
der Papierzuführposition 61 angeordnet. Das Werkzeug 83 wird
von einem Zylinder 84 betrieben. Trommelstützwalzen 86 sind
zum Stützen der Trommel 85 vorgesehen. Die Trommelstützwalzen
86 werden mittels einer nicht gezeigten Einrichtung ange
trieben, wodurch die Trommel 85 in Drehung versetzt wird.
Eine Schiene 87 zum Öffnen und Schließen des Deckels 65 ist
in Zusammenwirkung mit den Hebeln 64 zwischen der Position
57 und der Position 61 angeordnet.
Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung werden die Papierrollen
also an der Papierzuführposition 61 von der Zuführplatte 82
und dem Zuführwerkzeug 83 in die Preßkammer 50 gebracht. Die
Preßkammer 50 bewegt sich nach oben, wenn die Trommel 85
sich weiter dreht, also in Richtung von Position 61 zu
Position 62. Das Ende des Hebels 74 bewegt sich entlang der
Schiene 87, der Deckel 65 wird bei Position 61 geschlossen,
wo die Schiene 87 mit einer Biegung nach außen versehen ist.
Die Papierrolle 79 in der Preßkammer 50 wird von einem
Positionierungsblock 72 positioniert, während die Preßkammer
50 sich im von Rahmen 77 abgedeckten Bereich, d. h. zwischen
den Positionen 51 bis 57 befindet. Da die Trommel 85 gedreht
wird, bewegt sich die untere Walze 70 der Druckstange 68
entlang der Oberfläche des Exzenters 75, wodurch die Druck
stange 68 langsam mit einer Geschwindigkeit von durchschnitt
lich 4,3 mm/s bewegt wird, wodurch die Rolle 79 gepreßt
wird. Die Form des Exzenters 75 ist entsprechend der Be
lastung und der Geschwindigkeit des Eindringens der Druck
stange 68 in die Preßkammer 50 ausgelegt. Die Bewegung der
Druckstange 68 wird an einer Position beendet, wo die Druck
platte 67 25 mm vom Deckel 65 entfernt ist, dort wird die
Druckstange für 17,5 s gehalten. Die obere Walze 66 verläßt
den Rahmen 77 nach einer Verzögerung von 17,5 s. Der Deckel
65 öffnet sich durch seine Schwerkraft und die Rolle 79 wird
durch die Druckstange 68 herausgedrückt. Die gepreßte Rolle
79 wird von dem Entnahmewerkzeug 80 entnommen und von einem
Förderband 81 abtransportiert.
Claims (1)
- Vorrichtung zum Verformen von zylindrischen Papierrollen, insbesondere Toilettenpapierrollen, in eine im wesentlichen rechteckige Form mittels einer Preßkammer, die von zwei Seitenplatten, einer Kopfplatte und einer am oberen Ende einer beweglichen Druckstange angeordneten Druckplatte gebildet wird, gekennzeichnet durch
- - eine umlaufende Trommel (85) mit einem sich von dieser nach außen erstreckenden Flansch (71), an welchem mehrere der Preßkammern (50) radial nach außen angeordnet sind,
- - einen feststehenden Exzenter (75), um den die Trommel (85) drehbar ist,
- - am unteren Ende jeder Druckstange (68) angeordnete Walzen (70), welche mit dem Exzenter (75) in Kontakt stehen,
- - Druckstangenlager (69) am Umfang der Trommel (85), durch welche die Druckstangen (68) radial zur Trommel (85) bewegbar sind,
- - einen zu öffnenden Deckel (65) als Kopfplatte jeder Preß kammer (50), welcher mit einem Hebel (74) und einer Walze (66) versehen ist,
- - einen über einen Teil des Umfangs der Trommel (85) im Abstand konzentrisch fest angeordneten Rahmen (77), an dem die Walzen (66) der Deckel (65) abgestützt werden,
- - eine Stützschiene (78) für die Walzen (70) der Druckstangen (68) in dem Bereich, der von dem Rahmen (77) nicht abgedeckt ist, und
- - eine Schiene (87), die mit den Hebeln (74) zum Öffnen und Schließen der Deckel (65) zusammenwirkt.
