Zusatz zum Patent 300592.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 21. Januar 1917 ab. Längste Dauer: 11. Januar 1932.
Das Hauptpatent beschreibt ein Waschverfahren, das die Verwendung von Oxyfettsäuren
bzw. oxydierten Fettsäuren in Gestalt ihrer Alkalisalze zu Wäschezwecken gestattet.
Es hat sich nun die merkwürdige Tatsache
ergeben, daß höhere Alkohole, z. B. Wachsalkohole, den Schaum vermehren und ihn haltbar
machen.
Es ist nun nicht notwendig, diese Alkohole allein zu verwenden, sondern man kann sie in
Mischungen, wie sie in der Natur vorkommen, zur Anwendung bringen.
So zerfällt z. B. das Montanwachs bei der
Spaltung in Montansäure und Montanwachs-
*5 alkohol; das neue Waschverfahren gestattet
nun; den an und für sich wertlosen Alkohol in dieser Mischung verwendbar zu machen.
Da das Trennen von Alkohol und Fettsäure auch technisch nicht vollkommen gelingt, so
schadet auch das als Unverseifbares Erscheinende nicht, sondern kommt der Waschwirkung
zugute.
•Patent-Anspruch:
Abänderung des Verfahrens des Hauptpatents 300592, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die dort benutzten Oxyfettsäuren oder solche enthaltenden Materialien mit höheren
Alkoholen, wie Wachsalkohol oder mit höhere Alkohole enthaltenden Produkten, wie verseiftem Montanwachs, gemischt zur
Verwendung kommen.
