Zusatz zum Patent 296219.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 24. Dezember 1915 ab. Längste Dauer: 3.JuIi 1930.
Die Erfindung bezweckt eine weitere Ausbildung des künstlichen Armes nach Patent 296219.
Die neue, auf der Zeichnung dargestellte Anordnung besteht darin, daß eine Feder ηα zwischen der Schale 5 und der Schale 7 eingelegt ist, welche die Schale 7 auch dann noch gegen die Kugel 2 des Gelenkes drückt, wenn die Schraube 8 gelöst ist. Das Gelenk wird dann, wenn es in die gewünschte Stellung gebracht ist, sicher in dieser gehalten, bevor die Schraube 8 angezogen wird, während es ohne die Feder öfter vorkommt, daß sich das Gelenk beim Einstellen in eine nichtgewollte Stellung dreht.

  1. PATENT1AnSPRUCH:
    Künstlicher Arm. nach Patent 296219, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Feder (ya) oder ein ähnliches elastisches Mittel an dem Kugelgelenk angebracht ist, welches bei gelöster Stellschraube (8) ein ungewolltes Verstellen des Gelenkes verhindert.
