Description
Es hat sich gezeigt, daß in der Praxis die in Bitumen lösliche organische Mangan-, Kobalt- und/oder Kupferverbindungen enthaltende Asphaltzusammensetzung hergestellt werden kann durch Verflüssigen bzw. Fließfähigmachen des Bitumens durch Erhitzen desselben auf eine Temperatur oberhalb seines Schmelz- bzw. Erweichungspunktes und anschließendes Einmischen der organischen Metallverbindung in der angegebenen Menge. Die auf diese Weise erhaltene Asphaltzusammensetzung kann dann direkt in dieser Form mit dem gewünschten Zuschlagsstoff in der angegebenen Menge vermischt werden. Es hat sich auch gezeigt, daß eine in der Weise hergestellte Asphaltzusammensetzung vor ihrer Verwendung im Straßenbau in Masse aufbewahrt werden kann, ohne daß eine wesentliche Eindickung auftritt.
