Das Jodlecithin ist, wie andere Jodpräparate, ziemlich leicht zersetzlich. Schon nach
einigen Wochen kann man freies Jod darin nachweisen, wodurch sein therapeutischer Wert
beeinträchtigt wird. Auch durch Verarbeitung des Jodlecithins in Form von Tabletten
und Pillen mit den üblichen Zusätzen indifferenter Stoffe, wie Milchzucker, Pulvis Liquiritiae
usw., läßt sich eine derartige Zersetzung
ίο nicht dauernd verhindern.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß in einer trockenen
Mischung von Jodlecithin mit Albumin oder ähnlichen Eiweißstoffen auch nach längerem
Aufbewahren kein freies Jod oder Jodwasserstoff nachweisbar ist. Dies beruht
darauf, daß die bei der Zersetzung des Jodlecithins entstehenden kleinen Mengen von
Jod oder Jodwasserstoff durch das Eiweiß gebunden werden unter Bildung von Jodeiweiß
oder jodwasserstoffsaurem Eiweiß.
Da die hierbei entstehenden Jodeiweißverbindungen ebenfalls therapeutisch wirksam
sind, so bietet sich durch diese Kombination die Möglichkeit, den ganzen. Jodgehalt des
Jodlecithins dauernd in einer für therapeutische Wirkungen geeigneten Form zu erhalten
und zu binden. Dazu kommt noch der Umstand, daß nicht nur das abgespaltene Jod
von dem Eiweiß aufgenommen wird, sondern daß auch die Haltbarkeit des Jodlecithins dadurch
wesentlich erhöht wird.
Das Verhalten des Jodlecithins- in dieser Mischung mit Eiweißstoffen scheint dafür zu
sprechen, daß ein Teil des Jods ziemlich locker gebunden ist und daher leicht zu dem
Eiweiß hinüberwandert. Dagegen bleibt das Jodlecithin im übrigen unverändert; es kann
auch nach längerer Zeit unverändert aus der Eiweißmischung extrahiert werden.
Dieses Verhalten geht aus folgendem Versuch deutlich hervor. Eine Mischung aus
2 Gewichtsteilen Jodlecithin, 0,5 Teilen Albumin und 3,5 Teilen Milchzucker wurde in
Tabletten gepreßt. Von diesen Tabletten wurden von Zeit zu Zeit Proben mit 'Chloroform
extrahiert, und in dem extrahierten Jodlecithin wurde der Jodgehalt festgestellt.
Vor der Mischung enthielt das Jodlecithin
24 Prozent Jod.
Nach 19 Tagen enthielt das mit Chloroform
extrahierte Jodlecithin 21 Prozent Jod, nach 40 Tagen 20,65 Prozent, nach 60 Tagen 20,58 Prozent.
.
Dieser Versuch zeigt, daß ein Teil des Jods ziemlich schnell an das Eiweiß abgegeben wird.
Dann aber scheint ein Gleichgewichtszustand einzutreten, und der Jodgehalt des Jodlecithins
bleibt konstant, > wodurch erwiesen ist, daß das. Jodlecithin sich nicht weiter zersetzt.
In obiger Mischung konnte auch nach drei Monaten weder freies Jod noch Jodwasserstoff
nachgewiesen werden, während eine in 'gleicher Weise nur mit Milchzucker ohne Zusatz
von Albumin hergestellte Mischung schon nach 14 Tagen freies Jod enthielt.
200 Teile Jodlecithin, 50 Teile pulverisiertes Albumin und 350 Teile Milchzucker werden
innig gemischt, im Vakuum bei niedriger
Temperatur vollständig getrocknet, und in
Tablettenform gepreßt. Durch das Pressen wird eine noch innigere Berührung der einzelnen
Teilchen und eine größere Haltbarkeit der Masse erzielt.
Anstatt Albumin kann man auch Kasein oder andere Eiweißarten in trockener Form
verwenden, die geeignet sind, Jod zu binden. Natürlich kann statt Milchzucker auch irgendeine
andere indifferente Substanz genommen werden, oder man kann die Mischung auch
mit Eiweiß allein vornehmen.
Claims (1)
- Patent-Anspruch:Verfahren zur Darstellung haltbarer Präparate aus Jodlecithin, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Jodlecithin mit trockenem, pulverisiertem Albumin oder anderen Eiweißsubstanzen vermischt, die imstande sind, Jod zu binden.
