Verfahren zur Darstellung eines ο-Oxy monoazofarbstoffe.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 4. Juni 1910 ab.
Es wurde gefunden, daß ein Beizenfarbstoff von bemerkenswerter Echtheit entsteht, wenn
man die Diazoverbindung aus Nitroaminosalicylsäure
(OH:COOH:NOZ:NH2 = 1:2:4:6)
mit p-Kresol kombiniert. Der so erhaltene Farbstoff erzeugt auf Wolle im sauren Bade
nach dem Chromieren ein gelbliches Braun von ganz hervorragender Lichtechtheit. Er
besitzt ferner die Fähigkeit, sich in einem Bade gleichzeitig ausfärben und chromieren zu
lassen.
50 Teile Nitroaminosalicylsäure
(OH:COOH:NO2:NHZ = 1:2:4:6)
(OH:COOH:NO2:NHZ = 1:2:4:6)
werden in 400 Teilen Wasser und 35 Teilen Natronlauge von 35 ° Be. gelöst. Die Lösung
wird mit 17,5 Teilen Natriumnitrit versetzt und mit Eis' gekühlt, worauf 114 Teile mit Eis gekühlte
Salzsäure von 20 ° Be. einfließen gelassen werden. Die Diazolösung gibt man zu einer
mit überschüssiger Soda versetzten, gut gekühlten Lösung von 32 g p-Kresol in der nötigen
Menge Natronlauge. Man rührt, bis die Diazoverbindung verbfaucht ist, erwärmt die Flüssigkeit
bis 70° und fällt den Farbstoff mit Salz aus. Er bildet nach dem Trocknen ein braunschwarzes
Pulver und löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit rötlich brauner, in
Wasser mit gelblichbrauner Farbe. Diese Lösung wird durch Zusatz von Natronlauge rötlicher.
Durch konzentrierte Salzsäure wird der Farbstoff daraus in rötlichen Flocken gefällt.
Auf Wolle erzeugt der Farbstoff in saurem Bade ein bräunliches Gelb, das beim Nachchromieren in ein gelbliches Braun von
sehr guter Walk- und Pottingechtheit und ganz hervorragender Lichtechtheit übergeht.

- Patent-Anspruch:Verfahren zur Darstellung eines o-Oxymonoazofarbstoffs, darin bestehend, daß man die Diazoverbindung aus Nitroaminosalicylsäure(OH: COOH: NO2: NH2 = 1:2:4:6) mit p-Kresol kombiniert.
