Die Kupplung der diazotierten Amine (JI) mit den Verbindungen (III) erfolgt in an sich bekannter Weise in
schwach saurem, neutralem oder schwach alkalischem, wäßrigem oder organisch-wäßrigem Medium, wobei
gelegentlich der Zusatz eines säurebindenden Mittels, wie beispielsweise Natriumacetat, empfehlenswert ist.

Die Kupplungskomponente der Formel (III) ist bekannt bzw. nach an sich bekannten Verfahren
erhältlich. So lassen sie sich beispielsweise nach einem von K. E. Schu 11e und R. Mang (Arch. Pharm, 296,
501—509 [1963]) beschriebenen Verfahren durch Umsetzung von Malonsäuredialkylestern mit Malonsäurediamiden
in Gegenwart von Alkalialkoholat — vorzugsweise Natriumäthylat in Äthanol unter Druck
bei 115° C - herstellen.
Die neuen Farbstoffe eignen sich sehr gut zum Färben und Bedrucken von Gebilden aus synthetischen
Materialien, wie beispielsweise Polyolefinen, Polyvinylverbindungen, Cellulose-2!/2-acetat, Cellulosetriacetat
und insbesondere Polyestermaterialien, z. B. Polyäthylenglykolterephthalat. Sie liefern hierauf nach den
üblichen Färbe- und Druckverfahren farbstarke klare gelbe bis rote Färbungen und Drucke mit sehr guten
Echtheiten, insbesondere sehr guter Licht- und Sublimierechtheit.
Gegenüber nächstvergleichbaren bekannten Farbstoffen der DT-OS 18 13 385 und DT-OS 19 32 806
zeigen die erfindungsgemäßen Farbstoffe den überraschenden Vorteil des besseren Zieh- und Aufbauvermögens.
In den folgenden Beispielen bedeuten Teile Gewichtsteile und Prozente Gewichtsprozente.

13,8 Teile o-Nitranilin werden zusammen mit 7 Teilen
Natriumnitrit in 200 Teilen Wasser gut verrührt und zu einer Mischung von 100 Teilen Wasser, 35 Volumenteilen
konz. Salzsäure und 50 Teilen Eis gegeben. Man rührt die Diazotierungslösung eine halbe Stunde bei
15—20° C nach, gibt dann etwas Amidosulfonsäure dazu,
um überschüssiges Nitrit zu zerstören, und filtriert. Die klare Diazoniumsalzlösung läßt man dann in eine mit
Natriumacetat gepufferte Suspension von 20,8 Teilen
l-N-Methyl^.e-dihydroxy^-pyridon-S-N-methylcarbonamid
in 400 Teilen Eiswasser einlaufen und hält die Temperatur während der Kupplung bei 0—5°C. der
entstandene Farbstoff der Formel

wird nach beendeter Kupplung abgesaugt, mit Wasser neutral gewaschen und getrocknet. Er stellt ein gelbes
Pulver dar.
Färbebeispiel
1 Teil des im vorstehenden Beispiel erhaltenen und nach üblichem Verfahren feindispergierten Farbstoffs
wird in 2000 Teile Wasser eingerührt. Es wird mit Essigsäure auf einen pH-Wert von 5 bis 6 eingestellt und
mit 4 g Ammoniumsulfat und 2 g eines handelsüblichen Dispergiermittels auf Basis eines Naphthalinsulfosäure-Formaldehydkondensats
versetzt. In die so erhaltene Färbeflotte bringt man 100 Teile eines Polyestergewebes
auf Basis von Polyäthylenglykolterephthalat ein und
färbt V/2 Stunden bei 120—1300C. Nach anschließendem
Spülen, reduktiver Nachbehandlung mit einer 0,2%igen alkalischen Natriumdithionitlösung während
15 Minuten bei 6O0C, Spülen und Trocknen, erhält man eine grünstichiggelbe Färbung mit sehr guten Echtheitseigenschaften.
In der nachstehenden Tabelle sind weitere Farbstoffe gemäß vorliegender Erfindung sowie die Farbtöne der
damit auf Polyestermaterialien erhältlichen Färbungen bzw. Druck angegeben, die ebenfalls sehr gute
Echtheitseigenschaften besitzen.
