Description
Die Herstellung von synthetischen Schmierölen durch Oligomerisierung von a-Olefinen in Gegenwart von
Friedel-Crafts-Katalysatoren ist bekannt. Die nach dieser Methode gewonnenen Schmieröle weisen im
allgemeinen niedrige Pourpoints und hohe Viskositätsindices auf und sind ohne weitere Behandlung
verwendbar, insbesondere zur Niedertemperaturschmierung. Für Hochtemperaturschmierzwecke sind
solche Schmierstoffe jedoch nicht genügend oxydationsbeständig. Obwohl die Oxydationsbeständigkeit
der synthetischen Öle im allgemeinen durch Hydrierung erhöht wird, ist der Pourpoint des hydrierten Schmieröls
im allgemeinen gegenüber jenem des Schmieröls vor der Hydrierung beträchtlich erhöht.
Aufgabe der Erfindung war es, neue ölartige hydrierte
«-Olefinoligomere, die sich als Hochtemperatur-Schmierstoffe oder deren Komponenten, insbesondere
als Basisöle für Schmierfette, eignen, herzustellen.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist somit ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von ölartigen Ci2_84-Oligomeren mit einem
maximalen Pourpoint von -5I°C und einem minimalen Viskositätsindex von 110 und einem Durchschnittsmolekulargewicht
von 350 bis 700, wobei das Molverhältnis von naphthenischen zu isoparaffinischen Oligomeren
mindestens 0,7:1 beträgt, durch Hydrierung eines
"> Oligomeren, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß man als Oligomer ein oligomeres Produktgemisch von
C]2-84-Oligomeren einsetzt, das durch Oligomerisierung
eines normalen Ca-u-a-Olefins bei Temperaturen von
50 bis 200° C in Gegenwart eines Alkalimetalltetrahalo-
1(1 genaluminat-Katalysators bei einem Molverhältnis des
a-OIefins zum Katalysator von 5:1 bis 500:1
hergestellt worden ist
Die erfindungsgemäß hergestellten Oligomere besitzen so niedrige Pourpoints wie die entsprechenden
> nicht-hydrierten Oligomere.
Im erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren können Cö-^-Gemische
eingesetzt werden, die durch Äthyleppolymerisation nach dem Ziegler-Verfahren gewonnen worden
sind; bevorzugt sind jedoch Oligomere, die durch
-" Oligomerisierung eines Cs_io-«-01efins oder eines
Gemisches von «Olefinen mit einer Durchscb.p.ittskettenlänge
entsprechend 8 bis 10 C-Atomen hergestellt worden sind. Sehr gut geeignet sind auch Oligomere, die
aus einem Gemisch von 25 Molprozent Hexen-1, 25
-"' Molprozent Octen-1 und 50 Molprozent Decen-1 hergestellt worden sind.
Die im erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren hergestellten Oligomere haben einen maximalen Pourpoint von nur
— 51° C oder sogar von nur etwa —57° C; ihr minimaler
i» Viskositätsindex beträgt vorzugsweise 125, das Durchschnittsmolekulargewicht
vorzugsweise 450 bis 600.
Das Molverhältnis der naphthenischen zu den isoparaffinischen Oligomeren beträgt vorzugsweise
mindestens0,8 : !,insbesondere0,85 :1 bis 1 :1.

Alkalimetalltetrahalogenaluminat-Katalysator besitzt die allgemeine Formel

Kalium- oder Lithiumatom, bedeutet und X ein Halogenatom mit einer Atomnummer von 9 bis 53, das
■<> heißt ein Fluor-, Chlor-, Brom- oder Jodatom,
vorzugsweise ein Chlor- oder Bromatom, darstellt. Spezielle Beispiele sind LiAICU, NaAlCU und LiAIBr4.
Es können auch mehrere verschiedene Halogene zugegen sein, wie in den Verbindungen NaAICbBr oder
">" LiAlBr3Cl. Als Katalysator besonders bevorzugt wird
Lithiumtetrachloraluminat.
Im Verfahren der Erfindung wird vorzugsweise ein Molverhältnis der «-Olefine zum Katalysator von 15:1
bis 50 :1 angewendet.
>5 Zur Durchführung des Oligomerisierungsverfahrens
kann man das «-Olefin, den Katalysator und ein Lösungs- oder Verdünnungsmittel für das «-Olefin, das
bei der Reaktionstemperatur und dem entsprechenden Druck flüssig und gegenüber den Reaktionskomponen-
6" ten und dem Umsetzungsprodukt inert ist, in der
flüssigen Phase miteinander in Berührung bringen. Beispiele für geeignete Verdünnungsmittel sind Alkane,
Cycloalkane, wie Cyclopentan oder Cyclohexan, und halogenierte Alkane, wie Methyl- oder Äthylchlorid
*> oder -bromid; bevorzugt werden Cs-e-Alkane, insbesondere
Hexan oder Octan. Es kann auch ein Teil des «-Olefins und des Oligomerprodukts als Verdünnungsmittel
dienen. Vorzugsweise wird jedoch eines der oben
angegebenen Verdünnungsmittel verwendet, und zwar in Mengen bis zu etwa 4 Mol je Mol «-Olefin. Das
erfindungsgemäße Verfahren wird zweckmäßig in einer inerten Umgebung durchgeführt, d. h. unter wasserfreien
Bedingungen und unter Sauerstoffausschluß. >
Man kann das «-Olefin, den Katalysator und das Verdünnungsmittel in einen Autoklav einspeisen und
das Reaktionsgemisch während der gewünschten Umsetzungsdauer unter Rühren bei der Reaktionstemperatur
und dem entsprechenden Druck halten. Man i'i
kann aber auch die eine Reaktionskomponente der anderen in Form von Teilmengen einverleiben, beispielsweise
durch Zugabe des Katalysators zur Lösung des «-Olefins und Verdünnungsmittels. Im allgemeinen
werden Temperaturen von 100 bis 150° C bevorzugt ΐί
Dabei sind solche Reaktionsdrücke geeignet, die ausreichend sind, um das Reaktionsgemisch im wesentlichen
flüssig zu halten. Im allgemeinen befriedigen Reaktionsdrücke von etwa 0,98 bis etwa 49 bar.
Vorzugsweise wwvi das Verfahren jedoch als geschlossenes
System bei autogenem Druck durchgeführt. Die Reaktionsdauer hängt teilweise von den jeweiligen
Reaktion^bedingungen und dem eingesetzten Katalysator ab, beträgt jedoch im allgemeinen 30 Minuten bis 20
Stunden, vorzugsweise 1 bis 4 Stunden. 2 >
Nach der Beendigung der Oligomerisierung werden der Katalysator und das Verdünnungsmittel abgetrennt
bzw. wiedergewonnen.
Die Hydrierung des Oligomerprodukts kann nach beliebigen herkömmlichen Verfahren durchgeführt jo
werden. Für die Hvdrierung geeignete Katalysatoren sind Metallkatalysatoren, wie Pt, Pd oder Ni, sowie
Metalloxydkatalysatoren, wie Platinuxid, vorzugsweise auf einem Träger, wie S1O2 oder AI2Oj. Bevorzugt
werden Nickelkatalysatoren, insbesoi.Jere im Handel J>
erhältliches Raney-Nickel oder Nickel auf Kieselgur.
Die Hydrierung erfolgt zweckmäßigerweise bei Temperaturen von 50 bis 200° C und Wasserstoffdrükken
von 9,8 bis 196 bar, vorzugsweise bei 29 bis 98 bar.
Vor der Hydrierung enthält das a-OIefin-Oligomer- -»o
produkt einen Restanteil an äthylenisch ungesättigten Bindungen, die durch Raman-Laser-Spektroskopie
nachweisbar sind.
Das im erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren gewonnene Umsetzungsprodukt enthält gesättigte C^-M-Oligome- ·»>
re, im allgemeinen Dimere, Trimere, Tetramere, Pentamere, Hexamere und Heptamere. Die Oligomere
sind durch eine spezielle Kombination aus acyclischen und isoparaffinischen Oligomeren charakterisiert. Die
alicyclischen Oligomere bestehen im wesentlichen aus >o 5- und 6gliedrigen Naphthenen, welche durch mehrere
Isoalkylseitenketten substituiert sind. Die meisten naphthenischen Oligomere enthalten einen einzigen
Naphthenring, obwohl ein niedriger Anteil, im allgemeinen etwa 0,1 bis 0,2 Mol pro Mol der Gesamtmenge der v>
naphthdnischen Oligomeren, zwei naphthenische Ringe aufweist. Der auch nach der Hydrierung niedrige
Pourpoint der erfindungsgemäß hergestellten Oligomeren ist wahrscheinlich auf das im Anspruch angegebene
Molverhältnis von naphthenischen zu isoparaffinischen f>o
Oligomeren zurückzuführen. Mit einem Di-tert.-butylperoxyd-Katalysator
hergestellte «-Olefinoligomere, die weniger als 21 Molprozent Naphthene enthalten,
weisen z. B. nach der Hydrierung einen um etwa 27 bis 56°C erhöhten Pourpoint auf. <

Die im erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren hergestellten ölartigen Oligomere eignen sich insbesondere als
Schmierstoffe, wie Schmieröle, oder als Komponenten für Schmieröle oder Schmierölgemische, Besonders
geeignet sind sie als Basisöle für Schmierfette, Diese Fette besitzen gute Schmiereigenschaften innerhalb
eines breiten Temperaturbereiches. Außer ihrer hohen Stabilität können die erfindungsgemäß hergestellten
ölartigen Oligomere unter Verwendung eines niedrigeren Gelierungsmittelanteils, als bisher für synthetische
Schmieröle auf Kohlenwasserstoffbasis notwendig war, zur gewünschten Konsistenz verdickt werden.
Die Erfindung betrifft somit auch die Verwendung der
erfindungsgemäß hergestellten ölartigen Cu-frt-Oligomere
als Schmierstoffe oder Schmierstoffkomponenten, insbesondere als Basisöle für Schmierfette.
Die im erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren hergestellten Oü^omere mit ölkonsistenz besitzen eine relativ hohe
Viskosität, beispielsweise eine kinematische Viskosität
(bei 37,8° C) von etwa 40 bis 100 mmVs, vorzugsweise
von etwa 45 bis 60 mm2/s. Es wird angenommen, d-iß die
guten Hochtemperatureigenschaften von Schmierfetten, die die erfindungsgemäß hergestellten Oligomere
enthalten, zum Teil auf diese hohe Viskosität zurückzuführen sind. Überraschenderweise werden die Niedertemperatureigenschaften
des Schmierfetts nicht, wie zu erwarten wäre, durch die relativ hohe Viskosität des
Basisöls nachteilig beeinflußt. Die Schmierfette besitzen vielmehr noch bei Temperaturen von etwa —62° C sehr
befriedigende Eigenschaften. Dies ist bemerkenswert,
wenn man berücksichtigt, daß naphthenische Öle im allgemeinen als öle mit niedrigem Viskositätsindex
eingestuft werden, die eine gute Schmierwirkung innerhalb eines derart breiten Temperaturbereiches
nicht erwarten lassen.
Bei der Herstellung der die erfindungsgemäß hergestellten Oligomeröle enthaltenden Schmierfette
wird das Öl durch Einverleibung einer geringen Menge eines Fettverdicku'.igsmittels zur Fettkonsistenz geliert.
Der Anteil des Verdickungsmittel beträgt z. B. 1 bis 35
Gewichtsprozent, vorzugsweise 3 bis 15 Gewichtsprozent. Es können die verschiedensten Verdickungsmittel
für diesen Zweck eingesetzt werden, beispielsweise herkömmliche Verdickungsmittel auf Seifengrundlagc,
andere organische Mittel oder Ton-Verdickungsmittel. Beispiele für geeignete Verdickungsmittel auf Seifengrundlage
sind beliebige Metallseifen einer Fettsäure oder andere fettartige Materialien, welche die Ausbildung
einer stabilen Gelstruktur gewährleisten. Der Ausdruck »auf Seifengrundlage« erstreckt sich auf
herkömmliche Metallseifen, komplexe Seifen und Seifen auf gemischter Grundlage. Ein Beispiel für ein sehr gut
geeignetes Verdickungsmittel auf Seifengrundiage ist Lithiumhydroxystearat. Geeignete organische Verdikkungsmittel
sind z. B. Polyharnstoffe, Polyamide und Amidoharnstoffe.
Bevorzugte Verdickungsmittel sind hydrophobe Tone, die aus Tonen mit hydrophilen Eigenschaften
durch Behandlung mit einem hydrophoben oberflächenaktiven Mittel in eine hydrophobe Form umgewandelt
worden sind. Tone mit einer Basenaustauschkapazität von mindestens 25 mÄquivalenten/100 g sind dazu sehr
gut geeignet, z. B. Montmorillonite, wie Saponit oder vorzugsweise Bentonit und insbesondere Hectorit-Tone.
Die zur Umwandlung der Tone in eine hydrophobe Form geeigneten oberflächenaktiven Mittel können
entweder kationenaktive, anionenaktive oder nichtionogene Verbindungen sein. Vorzugsweise werden
jedoch kationenaktive Mittel eingesetzt. Diese herkömmlichen oberflächenaktiven Mittel können entwe-
der an den Oberflächen des Tons adsorbiert oder mit diesem umgesetzt werden. Zur Herstellung von
besonders wirksamen hydrophoben Tonen sehr gut geeignet sind die Aminoamide von Polyalkylenpolyaminen,
die durch Umsetzung von Polyalkylenpolyaminen mit Fettsäuren, wie TallölffUtsäure oder Kokosfettsäure,
erhalten werden können.
Die gute Oxydationsbeständigkeit und die guten Schmiereigenschaften der die erfindungsgemäß hergestellten
Oligomere enthaltenden Schmierfette können weiter verbessert werden, indem man ihnen Oxydationsinhibitoren, wie Diphenylamin, Phenyl-a-naphthylamin,
III Phenyl-^-naphthylamin, Phenothiazin, Phenole mit
sterischer Hinderung oder verschiedene Alkylderivate dieser Verbindungen, Korrosionsinhibitoren, wie Ndtriumnitrit
oder verschiedene Amino- oder Benzotriazole, insbesondere 1,2,4-TriazoIe, Hochdruckzusätze, wie
Molybdändisulftd, Viskositätsindexverbesserer oder beliebige andere bekannte Zusatzstoffe mit spezielle,·
Funktion, wie Natriumsebacat, zusetzt.
Die erfindungsgemäß hergestellten Oligomeröle enthaltenden Schmierfette bzw. die mit ihnen erzielbaren
Vorteile können den Tabellen V bzw. VI entnommen werden.
Beispiele 1 bis 8
Es werden verschiedene a-Olefine in Gegenwart von
LiAICU als Katalysator während 90 Minuten bis 4 Stunden bei 1250C unter Verwendung von n-Hexan
oder n-Octan als Lösungsmittel oligomerisiert. Das Molverhältnis des eingesetzten a-O!efins zum LiAICU
beträgt 20 :1, das Olefin wird einer Aufsch'-immung des
Katalysators im Lösungsmittel zugesetzt. Der Katalysator wird dann vom Reaktionsgemisch abgetrennt. Das
Oligomerproduktgemisch wird zur Abtrennung von Katalysatorspuren einmal mit 2,5gewichtsprozentiger
Natriumcarbonatlösung oder Natronlauge und anschließend zweimal mit Wasser gewaschen. Das Lösungsmittel
und das nicht umgesetzte Olefin werden bei erhöhten Temperaturen und vermindertem Druck abdestilliert.
Das zurückbleibende ölartige Produkt wird während 8 Stunden bei 150° C und einem Druck von etwa 102 bar in
Gegenwart von 5 Gewichtsprozent Raney-Nickel hydriert Alle erhaltenen Produkte weisen ein Molverhältnis
von naphthenischen zu isoparaffinischen Oligomeren von mindestens 0,7 :1 auf.
Aus Tabelle I sind die eingesetzten «-Olefine und die Eigenschaften der nicht-hydrierten und hydrierten
ölartigen Produkte ersichtlich.

Minuten bei 150" C gehalten. Das Reaktionsgemisch
wird abgekühlt, die Katalysator-Aufschlämmung wird gewaschen.
Das oligomere Produkigemisch wird während 8 Stunden bei 200'C und einem Wasserstoffdnick von
etwa 102 bz :.n Gegenwart eines im Handel erhältlichen
Katalysators hydriert, der 44 Gewichtsprozent Ni auf
Kieselgur enthält. Das als Lösungsmittel dienende η-Hexan und die nicht umgesetzten Olefine werden bei
100 C und Atniuspharendruck in einem Dünnschichtverdampfer
abgetrennt.
Das nicht-hvdrierte Öl (nach der Abtrennung des η-Hexans und der Olefin-Monomere) und das hydrierte
O| weisen die in Tabelle II gezeigten Eigenschaften auf.
abgetrennt und das oligomere Produktgemisch wird mit Wasser gewaschen, getrocknet und filtriert. Das als
Lösungsmittel dienende n-Octan und die nicht-umgesetzten Olefin-Monomere werden bei Temperaturen
von 95 bis 100'C und vermindertem Druck abdestilliert. Das erhaltene Öl wird 8 Stunden bei 150=C und einem
Wasserstoffdruck von etwa 102 bar in Gegenwart von 5 Prozent Raney-Nickel hydriert. Die Eigenschaften des
Produkts sind aus Tabelle II ersichtlich.
50g KCI werden 1 Stunde lang unter kräftigem
Rühren in einem bei L50C gehaltenen Autoklav in Gegenwart von 432 g n-Octan mit 80 g AICh erhitzt,
dann mit einem Gemisch aus 376 g Hexen-1. 506 z Octen-I und 1202 σ Decer.-ί kontinuierlich innernüb
von 90 Minuten versetzt.
Nach beendeter Zugabe wird der Autokia". weitere 20 Minuten bei 5 50'C gehalten. Danach wird das
Reaktionsgemisch abgekühlt, die Kataiysator-Aufschlämmung
wird abgetrennt und das oligomere Produktgemisch wird mit Wasser gewaschen und
getrocknet. Das n-Octan und die nicht-umgesetzten Olefin-Monomere werden abgedampft. Das dabei
erhaltene Öl wird 8 Stunden bei 150cC und einem
Wasserstoffdruck von etwa 102 bar in Gegenwart von 5
Prozent Raney-Nickel hydriert. Die Eigenschaften des Produkts sind aus Tabelle II ersichtlich.
Vergleichsbeispiel 12
Ein Gemisch aus 30.7 g Di-tert.-butvperoxid und
588 g Decen-i wird 5 Stunden bei :5Ö"C in einem
Autoklav erhitzt. Das erhaltene Ö! wird abgekühit. zur
Entfernung '-on nicht-.jmge·* anderem Decen-; 3
Stunden bei iSO'C und einem Wassersioffdruck '-on
etwa 102 bar in Gegenwart von 5 Gewichtsprozent Raney-Nickel hydriert.
Das nicht-hydrierte Ö! (nach der Abtrennung des Decen-1) und das hvdrierte Öl besitzen die aus Tabelle 11
ersichtlichen Eigenschaften.

Um die überlegene thermische Stabilität und Oxydationsbeständigkeit der erfindungsgemäß hergestellten
ölartigen Oligomere zu veranschaulichen, werden das nichl-hydrierte Öl und das hydrierte öl von
Beispiel 9 22 Stunden bei etwa 177~C mit Luft oxydiert. Aus Tabelle 111 sind die Farbe. Acidität und der
Verdampfungsverlust für jedes öl ersichtlich.

Es werden die Eigenschaften eines äquimolaren Gemisches der gemäß Beispiel 1 bzw. 2 bzw. 3
hergestellten hydrierten Ce- bzw. Cg- bzw. Cio-st-Olefinoligomeren
bestimmt Die Ergebnisse sind aus Tabelle [V unter »Gemisch von Homo-OIigomeren« ersichtlich.
Zu Vergleichszwecken sind in Tabelle IV auch die Eigenschaften eines oligomeren Öls (»Co-Oligomere«)
ersichtlich, das aus einem gemischten Ausgangsmaterial von Q-, Cg- und Cio-at-OIefinen (Beispiel 7) hergestellt
wurde.

Aus den in Tabelle V angegebenen Bestandteilen werden Schmierfette hergestellt:
1) ö! A: Erfindungsgemäß hergestelltes Oligomeröl
mit einem Naphthen/Isoparaffin-Mclverhältnis von 1:1. hergestellt durch Oligomerisierung eines
Gemisches aus 25 Molprozent Hexen-1, 25 Molprozent Octen-1 und 50 Molprozent Decenl
während 90 Minuten bei 150cC in Gegenwart eines
LiAlCL-Katalysators bei einem Olefin/Katalysator-MoIverhältnis
von 20:1 und anschließender Hydrierung unter Verwendung eines Raney-Nikkel-Katalysators
(Handelsprodukt).
2) Öl B: Erfmdungsgemäß hergestelltes Oligomeröl
Il
mit einem Naphthen/Isoparaffin-Molverhältnis
von 0,89 : I, hergestellt durch Oligomerisierung
eines Gemisches aus 20 Molprozent Octen-1 und 80
Molprozent Decen-1 innerhalb von 4 Stunden bei 125 C in Gegenwart eines l.iAICU-Katalysators bei
einem Olefin/Katalysalor-Molvcrhältnis von 30 : I
und Hydrierung unter Verwendung eines im Handel erha.iüehen Raney-Niekel-Katalysators.
3) Öl C: Erfindungsgemäß hergestelltes Oligomeröl mit einem Naphthen/Isoparaffin-Molverhältnis
von 0.96 : I. hergestellt aus demselben Ausgangsmatcrial und unter ähnlichen Bedingungen wie im
lalle des Öls A.
4) Hectorit-Ton, der mit einem hydrophob machenden
Mittel auf Aminoamid-Dasis oberflächenbeschichtet ist. welches durch Umsetzung eine
Gemisches von Polyäthylcnpolyaminen mit Fettsäuren hergestellt wurde.
Einigen der Schmierfette wurden Zusatzstoffe einverleibt,
damit realistische Vergleiche mit einem im Handel erhältlichen Schmierfett auf Polyolefinbasis. welches
eine vergleichbare Zusatzstoffkombinalion enthält,
angestellt werden können.
Zur Verdickung des Fettes mit Ton dispergiert man
den bentonitischeri Ton in Wasser, säuert die Dispersion mit Phosphorsäure an und setzt da«, hydrophob
machende Mittel auf Aminoamid-Basis und das erfindungsgemäß hergestellte Oligomeröl zu. Das
erhaltene Gemisch aus Ton, oberflächenaktivem Mittel und Öl wird vom Wasser abgetrennt und durch Erhitzen
auf Temperaturen von etwa 132" C entwässert. Nach tier
Zugabe der Zusatzstoffe und dem Abkühlen wird das Fett-Vorprodukt zur Fe'tkonsistenz gewalkt.
7 g Ölsäure und I g Natriumhydroxyd in Form einer Lösung in I ml Wasser werden mit 52 g synthetischem
Kohlenwasserstofföl vermischt. Das erhaltene Gemisch ivirrl upriihrl nnrl auf plvva 19VC erhil/t Nnrh Hpm
Abkühlen und weiterem Rühren erhält man ein Fet! mit
guten Eigenschaften, das einen WalkPenetrationswcrt (ASTM) bei 60 Zyklen von 270 aufweist.

Zur Veranschaulichung ihrer guten Eigenschaften werden die die erfindungsgemäß hergestellten Oligomeröle enthaltenden
Schmierfette der Beispiele 15 und 17 mit einem im Handel erhältlichen Fett (X) verglichen.
Die beim handelsüblichen Fett verwendete Basiskomponente ist ein Decen-1-Polymerisat mit einer kinematischen
Viskosität (37.80C) von 31.7 mnr/s und einem Naphthen/Isoparaffin-Molverhältnis von 0.32:1.

Aus Tabelle Vl ist ersichtlich, daß die Schmierfette 15
und 17 innerhalb eines sehr breiten Temperaturbereiches hervorragende Schmiereigenschaften besitzen. F.s
ist bemerkenswert, daß die Niedertemperatur-Anfangs-Torsionswerte der die erfindungsgeniaß hergestellten
Oligomeröle enthaltenden Schmierfette beträchtlich niedriger sind als jene des herkömmlichen Produktes,
obwohl die zur Herstellung der Fette 15 und 17 verwendeten Öle eine erheblich höhere Viskosität
aufweisen als das beim Fett X verwendete Öl. Die gute Beständigkeit der erfindungsgemäßen
Schmierfette, an den niedrigen Verdampfungsverlustwerten
ersichtlich, ist zum Teil der ungewöhnlich starken Affinität /wischen der Basiskomponente und
dem Verdi kungsmittcl zuzuschreiben.
Infolge dieser Affinität benötigt man für die Verdickung der erfindungsgemäßen Öle mit hohem
Napl" ihengehalt bis zur FcttkonsiMon/ im allui-meincn
wenig-jr Verdickungsmittel als /ur \ ·_τιΙ:<. k'ing herkömmlicher
Öle auf Ok inpolymer-Basis.
Claims (6)
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von ölartigen Ci2-84-Oligomeren mit einem maximalen Pourpoint
von —51 "C und einem minimalen Viskositätsindex von 110 und einem Durchschnittsmolekulargewicht
von 350 bis 700, wobei das Molverhältnis von naphthenischen zu isoparaffinischen Oligomeren
mindestens 0,7 :1 beträgt, durch Hydrierung eines Oligomeren, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß man als Oligomer ein oligomeres Produktgemisch von Ci2-84-Oligomeren einsetzt, das durch
Oligomerisierung eines normalen Ce_t2-«-01efins
bei Temperaturen von 50 bis 2000C in Gegenwart eines Alkalimetalltetrahalogenaluminat-Katalysators
bei einem Molverhältnis des a-Olefins zum Katalysator von 5:1 bis 500 :1 hergestellt worden
ist.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß man ein oligomeres Produktgemisch einsetzt, das durch Oligomerisation eines Ca-io-«-
Olefins oder esnes Gemisches von «-Olefinen mit einer Durchschnittskettenlänge entsprechend 8 bis
10 C-Atomen hergestellt worden ist.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man ein oligomeres Produktgemisch
einsetzt, das durch Oligomerisation eines Gemisches von 25 Molprozent Hexen-1,25 Molprozent
Octen-1 und 50 Molprozent Decen-1 hergestellt
worden ist.
4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 bis 3, dadurch ,gekennzeichnet, daß ein Alkalimetalltetrahalogenaluminat-Katalysator
verwendet worden ist, der als Alkalimetall Lithium, Natrium oder Kalium enthält.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Alkalimetalltetrahalogenaluminat-Katalysator
verwendet worden ist, der als Halogen Chlor oder Brom enthält
6. Verwendung der nach dem Verfahren gemäß den Ansprüchen 1 bis 5 hergestellten Cu-w-Oligomere
als Schmierstoffe oder Schmierstoffkomponenten.
