Verfahren zur Alkylierung olefinischer Verbindungen
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Alkylierung ole
f inischer Verbindungen und Zwischenprodukte für dasselbe·. Sie bezieht sich insbesondere auf die Herstellung langkettiger Polyolefine, die dadurch
gekennzeichnet ist, daß man eine isolierte Doppelbindung eines Polyolefins zum allylischen Hydroperoxyd photo-öxygeniert, das allylische Hydroperoxyd'
zum allylischen Alkohol reduziert, den allylischen Alkohol zum allylischen Acylat verestert und das allylische Acetat durch Behandlung mit Lithium-diorganocuprat
alkyliert.

Bei der Durchführung des obigen Verfahrens wird ein Polyolefin der Formel (l).

photochemiiinh oxygeniert/zum allylischen Hydroperoxyd (ll). Die Photooxyge— nierung erfolgt in einem organischen Lösungsmittel in Anwesenheit eines Färb— sensiblisators und Sauerstoff, der* vor der Einführung des, Polyolefins in 'das Lösungsmittelmedium eingeführt wird. Das Reaktionstnedium ist vor der Poly— olefineinführung vorzugsweise mit Sauerstoff gesättigt, um Nebenreaktionen zu vermeiden, worauf dann Sauerstoff kontinuierlich bis zur Beendigung der Reaktion eingeführt wird. Die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit ist weitgehend von der Lichtintentisität und der Polyolefinkonzentration abhängig. Es können verschiedene organische, gegenüber der Reaktion inerte Lösungsmittel verwendet werden, deren Wahl die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit nicht zu beeinflussen scheint. Geeignete Lösungsmittel umfassen Alkohole, Amine, Ketone, Dialkylsulfoxyde, Kohlenwasserstoffe, Ester usw., wie Äthylacetat, tert.-Butyl- ' alkohol, Brombenzol, Cyclohexanol, Aceton, Dimethylsulfoxyd, Kohlendisulfid, Benzol, Pyridin, Jodäthan, Methanol usw. Durch entsprechende Wahl des Lösungsmittels kann das Verfahren weitgehend in einem Gefäß durchgeführt werden;' durch Verwendung z.B. von Pyridin können Photooxygenierung, Reduktion und Acylierung in einem Gefäß ohne Änderung des Lösungsmittels durchgeführt werden. Ist die Abtrennung des allylischen Alkohols vor der Acylierung gewünscht, so wird ein Alkohollösungsmittel bevorzugt. Das Hydroperoxyd (ll)
photochemiiinh oxygeniert/zum allylischen Hydroperoxyd (ll). Die Photooxyge— nierung erfolgt in einem organischen Lösungsmittel in Anwesenheit eines Färb— sensiblisators und Sauerstoff, der* vor der Einführung des, Polyolefins in 'das Lösungsmittelmedium eingeführt wird. Das Reaktionstnedium ist vor der Poly— olefineinführung vorzugsweise mit Sauerstoff gesättigt, um Nebenreaktionen zu vermeiden, worauf dann Sauerstoff kontinuierlich bis zur Beendigung der Reaktion eingeführt wird. Die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit ist weitgehend von der Lichtintentisität und der Polyolefinkonzentration abhängig. Es können verschiedene organische, gegenüber der Reaktion inerte Lösungsmittel verwendet werden, deren Wahl die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit nicht zu beeinflussen scheint. Geeignete Lösungsmittel umfassen Alkohole, Amine, Ketone, Dialkylsulfoxyde, Kohlenwasserstoffe, Ester usw., wie Äthylacetat, tert.-Butyl- ' alkohol, Brombenzol, Cyclohexanol, Aceton, Dimethylsulfoxyd, Kohlendisulfid, Benzol, Pyridin, Jodäthan, Methanol usw. Durch entsprechende Wahl des Lösungsmittels kann das Verfahren weitgehend in einem Gefäß durchgeführt werden;' durch Verwendung z.B. von Pyridin können Photooxygenierung, Reduktion und Acylierung in einem Gefäß ohne Änderung des Lösungsmittels durchgeführt werden. Ist die Abtrennung des allylischen Alkohols vor der Acylierung gewünscht, so wird ein Alkohollösungsmittel bevorzugt. Das Hydroperoxyd (ll)

wird vor der Reduktion gewöhnlich nicht isoliert. Außerdem kann die Photnoxy—
geniarung mit einem Reduktionsmittel, wie Trialkylphosphit durchgeführt
werden, das im RuaktiDnsmedium anwesend ist, so daß die Reduktion a±EpnaclTend
der
/HydroperDxydbüdung verläuft. Höhere Ausbeuten werden gewöhnlich erzielt, wenn Photooxygenierung und Reduktion zwei getrennte Stufen sind. Geeignete Farbsensibilisatoren sind Fluoresceine, Porphyrine, polycyclisch^ aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe und Xanthenfarbstoffe, wie Methylenblau, Hämatoporphyrin, Tetrachlorfluorescein, Rose Bengal, Erythrosin, Chlorophyll, Zinktetraphenylporphin usw. Die Lichtquelle kann Sonnenlicht, eine Fluoreszenzlampe, Quecksilberlampgen, Hochdrucklampen und übliche elektrische Birnen sein.

Die Lichtquelle kann Sonnenlicht, eine Fluoreszenzlampe, Quecksilberlampgen, Hochdrucklampen und übliche elektrische Birnen sein.
Das Photooxygenierungsverfahren liefert gewöhnlich Verbindungen der Formel
(il) als Hauptprodukt; man erhält jedoch gewöhnlich auch andere Produkte,
wie durch die folgenden Formel HA, UB und HC sowie UD unter Verwendung
von Methyl-3,7-dimethylnona-2,6-dienoat als Beispiel dargestellt wird. Die
anderen, als HB, HC und HD dargestellten Produkte werden bis zur Beendi—
ab-
gung von Reduktion, Veresterung oder Alkylierung nicht/getrennt. Die Verbindung HB wird oft in ziemlich großen Mengen gebildet, während die Verbindungen
HC und HD in sehr geringen Mengen vorliegen.

Die Reduktion des allylischen Hydroperoxyds (ll) zum allylischen Alkohol
erfolgt im selben oder einem unterschiedlichen organischen Lösungsmittel,
wie es in der Photooxygenierungsstufe verwendet wird. Es können zahlreiche
Reduktionsmittel verwendet werden, wie ein Alkalimetallborhydrid, Trialkylphosphit,
Triarylphosphit, Alkylaminophospin, Zink, deaktiviertes Raney-Nickel
(hergestellt, indem man Raney-Nickel Aceton ausssetzt), Aluminiumamalgam; anorganische Reduktionsmittel, wie Jodidanion mit einem Säurekatalysator,
wie HCl oder Essigsäure; Katalysatoren, wie katalytische Hydrierungskatalysatoren,
z.B. Palladium, Bariumsulfit usw. Geeignete.Phosphite umfassen Trimethylphosphit,
Triäthylphosphit, Triphenylphosphit usw. Die Reduktion
erfolgt im allgemeinen bei Zimmertemperatur, obglaich höhere oder niedrigere
Temperaturen angewendet werden können, unter Verwendung eines molaren Äquivalentes
oder mehr an Reduktionsmittel ■.

Die Veresterung des allylischcn Alkohols (ill) zum Acylat (IV) orfolrit unter
Verwendung eines Cärbonsäureanhydrids oder Cärbonsäurehaloytinids, wie das
Chlorid, im gleichen oder einem unterschiedlichen Lösungsmittel, in welchem
die Reduktion durchgeführt wurde. Geeignete Veresterungsmittel umfassen
Essigsäureanhydrid, Propionsäureanhydrid, Benzoesäureanhydrid, n—buttersäure-,
anhydrid, Ameisenessigsäureanhydrid, Essigpropionsaureanhydrid,' Heptansäureanhydrid,
n-Capronsäureanhydrid, Phenylessigsäureanhydrid, p-Methoxybenzoesäureanhydrid,
Acetylchlorid, Propionylchlorid, n-Butyrylchlorid, Isobutyrylchlorid,
n-Valerylchlorid, Trimethylacetylchlorid, Benzoylchlorid usw.
Die Alkylierung des allylischen Esters erfolgt unter Verwendung eines Organocuprates
der Formel (VIl), in welcher R für dieselben oder unterschiedliche
Organogruppen stehen kann. Die Reaktion erfolgt in einem organischen, gegenüber der Reaktion inerten Lösungsmittel, wie z.B. einem Äther oder Kohlenwasserstoff,
wie Pentan, Toluol, Äther, Tetrahydrofuran, Monoglym, Benzol, Diglym oder Mischungen von Lösungsmitteln, bei einer Temperatur von etwa ·
Zimmertemperatur bis etwa -100 C1 gewöhnlich von etwa OOC. bis -800C1 und
ist innerhalb weniger Minuten bis einiger Stunden beendet.
- R2CuLi (VII)
Das Organocuprat (VIl) wird hergestellt durch Umsetzung eines Cuprosalzes
mit einem Organolithiumverbindung. Die Herstellung von Organokupferreagenzien
der Formel (VIl) ist in J.Am.Chem.Soc, £1, 1653 (1969); J.Äm.Chem.Soc., 9_1,
4Θ71 (1969) und Chem.Commun., 43 (1969) beschrieben. Gewöhnlich wird das
Organokupferreagenz (VIl) hergestellt, und der allylische Ester wird zur
Organokupferlösung zugegeben. Reagenzien der Formel (VIl) können auch in

tertiäre Amine.
Die Diene der Formel (i), in welcher R für Wasserstoff oder niedrig Alkyl
steht, werden durch Umsetzung eines Ketons der Formel (IX) unter Verwendung
eines Wittig-Reagenz oder*einer Emmons-Wadworth-Reaktion hergestellt:

Ester ist in der US-Anmeldung Ser.No. 79Ώ7 vom 2.2.1970 (interne Nr.
Z-26) vom gleichen Datum wie die vorliegende Anmeldung beschrieben.

Dio C-1 Alkaholverbindungen der Formel (l) (Ζ ist -CFLÜH) werden hergestellt
dui^ch Reduktion des entsprechenden Esters (I; Z ist -COüAlkyl) durch Behandlung
mit einem molaren Äquivalent Lithiumaluminiumhydrid in Mther bei
0°C. für etwa 1 Gtunde. Die C-1 Halogenidverbindungen der Formel (l) (Z ist
CHpX, wobei X für Brom oder Chlor steht) werden erhalten durch Behandlung des C-I Alkohols mit Phosphortrichlorid und Phosphortribromid in Benzol
etwa bei Zimmertemperatur. Mther der Formel (i) können entweder aus dem
C-1 Halogenid oder C-1 Alkohol unter Anwendung der üblichen Verfahren hergestellt werden, wie z.B. Behandlung des C~1 Alkohols mit üiazoalkan
oder mit einem Alkylhalogenid, Cyclohexylhalogenid usw., in Anwesenheit
eines Alkalimetallhydrids.
Die nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren erhaltenen Verbindungen sowie die
Zwischenprodukte der Formeln (ill) und (iv) sind per se wertvoll, insbesondere
die Verbindungen der Formel (v), zur Insektenbekämpfung, wie sie in der Anmeldung (interne Nr. Z-26) vom gleichen Datum
beschrieben wird. Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen sind in der Parfüm-,
pharmazeutischen und Polymerisatindustrie als Zwischenprodukte sowie als Endprodukte wertvoll; vgl. z.B. die US-Patentschriften 2 824 896, 2 840 583,
2 902 495, 3 023 178, 3 235 570, 3 382 276 und 3 455 997; sowie J.Am.Chem.
Soc, 89, 5292 (1967) und Tetrahedron Letters, 26, 2515 (1967).
Die hier verwendete Bezeichnung "Alkyl" bezieht sich auf gerade und ver—

Gruppe 1-6 Kohlenstoffatome. Die Bezeichnung "Cycloalkyl" bezieht sich auf
eine cyclische Alkylgruppe mit 4-8 Kohlenstoffatomen.Die Bezeichnung "Aralkyl"
bezieht sich auf eine einwertige Gruppe, in welcher eine Arylgruppe für ein Wasserstoffatom einer Alkylgruppe substituiert ist, wie Benzyl,
Xylyl, Mesityl, Phenylethyl, Methylbenzyl, Naphthylmethyl und Naphthyläthyl.
Die Drganogruppe (R) des Organokupferreagenz braucht nicht besonders lang
zu sein, sondern enthält gewöhnlich weniger als 30 und meist weniger als_
20 Kohlenstoffatome. Die Organogruppe kann acyclisoh oder cyclisch, gesättigt
oder ungesättigt, z.B. eine Kohlenwasserstoffgruppe, wie Alkyl, Alkenyl
(wobei die Doppelbindung vom Metall durch mindestens 2 tetraedrische
Kohlenstoffatome getrennt ist), Cycloalkyl, Aryl, Aralkyl, sein, die mit
nicht-störenden Gruppa\ wie Alkoxy, Alkylendioxy, Cycloalkoxy, Fluor usw.,
substituiert sein kann.
Die folgenden Beispiele veranschaulichen die vorliegende Erfindung, ohne
sie zu beschränken.

(A) Eine Mischung aus 11g Äthyl-3,7-dimethylnona~2,6-dienoat, 100 mg Hämatoporphyrin
und 100 ecm trockenem Pyridin in einem Pyrex-Gefäß, in das langsam
und kontinuierlich Sauerstoff eingeleitet wurde, wurde durch Belichtung mit
einer 15 Watt Fluoreszenzlampe (im Abstand von etwa 5 cm vom Gefäß) für etwa
.40 Stunden bestrahlt. Als das Ausgangsmaterial verschwunden war, was durch Dünnschichtchromatographie verfolgt wurde, wurde die Reaktionsmischung ohne

Isolierung üoa Reaktionsproduktes (/:,thyl-6-hydrüperaxy-7-methylen-3-rniJthyl~
ηϋπ-2-enoat) auf S C. abgekühlt, und es wurden 7,5 g Trimethylphosphit zugefügt
. Die Reaktion war nach etwa 3 Gtunden beendet und lieferte den ally—
lischen Alkohol (nthyl—6—hydroxy—7-methylen—3—mnbhylnon—2—enoat). Ohne Isolierung
wurden 3,2 ecm Essigsäureanhydrid bei Zimmertemperatur zugefügt, die
Mischung etwa 2 Stunden gerührt," Tierkohle zugegeben und dann filtriert. Zum Filtrat wurde zur Zerstörung von überschüssigem Essigsäureanhydrid Eis zugefügt,
dann wurde die Lösung in 450 ecm eiskalte 10-^ige Salzsäure gegossen
und dann mit Äther extrahiert. Die Ätherextrakte wurden mit Wasser, gesättigtem Natriumchlorid, gesättigtem Natriumbicarbonat und Kochsalzlösung
gewaschen, über Natriumsulfat getrocknet und eingedampft; so erhielt man das allylische Acetat (Äthyl-e-acetaxy^-methylen-S-methylnon-^-enoat)
das durch Chromatographie auf Kieselsäure gereinigt werden kann.
(Β) Wurden die Verfahren von Teil A jeweils mit Äthyl—3,7—dimethylocta-2,6-dienoat,

Durch Anwendung der obigen Verfahren wurde jeder der entsprechenden Methylester
in das entsprechende Hydroperoxyd, den allylischen Alkohol und allyIischen
Ester umgewandelt.
(A) Zu einer Mischung aus 3,2 g Cuprojodid und 90 ecm trockenem Äther (auf
-10°C. unter Stickstoff abgekühlt) wurden 28,9 ecm (0,03 Mol) 3,3^-Dimethyl- ·
butyllithium in Äther zugefügt.
Nach etwa 15 Minuten wurden 2,4 g Äthyl-B-acetoxy^-methylen-S-methylnqn.-vE-.
enoat zugegeben. Die Reaktion wurde nach 30 Minuten aufgearbeitet, indem man
sie in gesättigtes Ammoniumchlorid goß, mit Äther extrahierte und die ätherischen
Extrakte mit gesättigtem Ammoniumchlorid, 10-$>iger Salzsäure und ·
gesättigtem Natriumchlorid wusch. Die Ätherextrakte wurden über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet und eingedampft und ergaben Athyl-3,11,11-trimethyl-7-äthyldodeca-2I6-dienoat,
das durch Destillation gereinigt werden kann.
3,3-Dimethylbutyllithium wurde aus 1-Chlor-3,3-dimethylbutan und Lithium in
Äther in Anwesenheit von 1 % Natrium unter Argon hergestellt.
\ (D) Durch Wiederholung des Verfahrens »/on Teil C unter Verwendung der allylischen
Acetate von Teil B als Ausgangsmaterial anstelle von Äthyl-6-acetoxy-7-methylen-3-methylnon-2-enoat
erhielt man: Äthyl-3,7,11,11-tetramethyldodeca-2,6-dienoat,

(A) Zu 108 mg Cuprojodid in 7 ecm Äther bei -100C. unter Argon wurden
0,174 ecm Vinyllithium (3,1M in Äther) zugegeben. Die Suspension wurde
etwa 0,5 Stunden gerührt, worauf man einen negativen Gilman-Test erzielte.
Dann wurden 0,334 ecm tert.-Butyllithium (1,62M in Äther) zugefügt, und M
unter Rühren wurde weiteres Cuprojodid zugegeben, bis man einen negativen Gilman-Test erhielt. Dann wurde 1 molares Äquivalent Äthyl-S-acetoxy-7- '
methylen—3-methyloct-2-enoat zugegeben, wobei man die Temperatur auf etwa
—10 C. hielt. Nach etwa einer Stunde wurde die Reaktion durch Eingießen in
gesättigtes Ammuniumchlorid und Extrahieren mit Äther aufgearbeitet. Die
Ätherextrakte wurden vereinigt, mit Kochsalzlösung gewaschen, über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet und unter vermindertem Druck eingedampft und ergaben
Äthyl-3,7,9,9-tetramethyldec-2,6-dienoat.

In gleicher Weise erhielt man durch Verwendung von Methyl-6-acBtaxy-7-msthylBn-3-methyloct~2-enaat im Verfahren von Teil A. ,

Zu einer Lösung aus 2 g Lithium-di—tert.-butylU(tri-n-butylphosphin)-cuprat
in Tetrahydrofuran bei -78°C. unter Argon wurde 1 molares Äquivalent
Äthyl-e-acetoxy^-methylen-S-methyloct^-enoat zugefügt, wobei man die Temperatur
auf etwa -78°G. hielt. Nach etwa 10 Stunden wurde die Mischung in gesättigtes
Ammoniumchlorid gegossen und mit Äther extrahiert. Die vereinigten Ätherextrakte wurden mit Kochsalzlösung gewaschsn, über Magnesiumsulfat
getrocknet und eingedampft und ergaben Athyl-3,7,9,9—tBtramethyldec—2,6-dienoat
.
Nach dem obigen Verfahren wurde aus Äthyl-S-acetoxy-G-methylen-S-methylhept-2-enoat
Äthyl-3,6,8,8-tetramethylnona-2,5-dienoat erhalten.
[A) Eine Mischung aus 10,9 g Methyl-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dienoat, 100 mg

Zu einer Mischung aus 3,2 g Cuprojodid und 90 ecm trockenem Äther unter
Stickstoff (auf -10DC. abgekühlt) wurden 28,9 ecm (0,03 Mol) 3,3-Dimethylbutyllithium
in Äther zugefügt.

zugefügt. Die Reaktion wurde nach 30 Minuten durch Eingießen in gesättigtes Ammoniumchlorad, Extrahieren mit Äther und Waschen mit gesättigtem
Ammoniumchlorid, lO-Jjciger Salzsäure und gesättigtem Natriumchlorid aufgearbeitet. Die Ätherextrakte wurden über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet und eingedampft
und ergaben tfethyl-3,7,11,11-tetramethyldodeca-2,6-dienoat, das durch
Destillation gereinigt werden kann.

2.4 g Äthyl-3,7,11-trimethyldadeca~2,6,1ü-trienoat und üü mg Hämatoporphyrin
wurden in 50 ecm Pyridin gelöst, Ea wurde Sauerstoff durch die Lösung geleitet,
während diose für etwa 16 Gtunden mit einer 15 Watt Fluoreszenzlampe
(aus einem Abstand von etwa 1,3cm vom Kolben) belichtet wurde. Die
Äthyl-6,10-(bis)-hydroperoxy-7,11-dimethylen-3-methyldodec-2~enaat enthaltende
Reaktionslösung wurde auf unterhalb Zimmertemperatur abgekühlt, dann wurden 1,13 g Trimethylphosphit zugefügt. Nach etwa 2 Stunden wurde das so
gebildete Äthyl-6,10-dihydroxy-7, H-dimethylen-S-methyldodec-S-enoat (ohne
Isolierung) 2 Stunden mit 5,20 g Essigsäureanhydrid behandelt, wodurch man
Äthyl-6,IO-diacetoxy-7,11-dimethylen-3-methyldodec-2-enoat erhielt, das .
mit Äther extrahiert wurde.
Zu einer Mischung aus 134 mg Cuprojodid in 5 ecm trockenem Äther unter
Stickstoff (auf -10°C. abgekühlt) wurde 0,8 ecm 1,65M Methyllithium in
Äther zugefügt. Dann wurden 50 mg Äthyl-6,IO-diacetoxy-7,11-dimethylen-3-methyldodec—2—enoat
zugefügt und die Reaktionsmischung nach 30 Minuten durch
Eingießen in gesättigtes Ammoniumchlorid und Extrahieren mit Äther aufgearbeitet.
Die Ätherextrakte wurden gewaschen, über Natriumsulfat getrocknet und eingedampft und ergaben Äthyl-3, H-dimethyl^-äthyltrideca^jötrienoat,
das durch Destillation gereinigt werden kann.
(A] 100 mg Äthyl-10,11-oxido-3,7,11~trirnethyldadeca-2,(5-dienaat wurden in
2.5 ecm trockenem Pyriddn gelöst, zu denen 2,9 mg Hämatoporphyrin zugefügt
wurden.Dann wurde; diü Lösung 10 Stunden mit β,ϊππγ 1ί; Wutt Fluoreszenzlampe

des 6-Hydroxyperoxyds wurde das Filtrat auf 5 C. abgekühlt, und gh
wurden ü,04 ecm Trimethylphosphit zugefügt. Die Mischung wurde zur Beendigung
der Reduktion des Hydroperoxyds in Äthyl-&-hydroxy-7-methylen-1ü,11-oxido-3,H-dimGthyldodec-2-enoat
etwa 2,5 Stunden gerührt. Zu dieser Beaktionslösung wurde ohne Isolierung der G-Hydroxyverbindung O125'ecm Essigsäureanhydrid
zugefügt und die Mischung bei Zimmertemperatur 2 Stunden gerührt. Dann wurde sie durch Zugabe von Wasser, Eingießen^in gesättigtes* '
Natriumchlorid und Extrahieren mit Methylenchlorid aufgearbeitet. Die
Methylenchloridextrakte wurden mit Wasser gewaschen, getrocknet und unter vermindertem Druck eingedampft; so erhielt man Äthyl-6-acetoxy~7-methylen-10,11-oxidD-3,11—dimethyldoec—2—enoat,
das durch Chromatographie gereinigt werden kann.
(B) Zu 42 mg Cuprojodid in 4 ecm Äther unter Argon bei -10°C. wurde 0,24
ecm Methyllithium (1,65M in Äther) zugefügt. Nachdem die Lösung einen negativen
Gilman-Test ergab, wurden 50 mg des allylischen Acetates aus Teil A
zugefügt. Nach 30 Minuten wurde die Lösung in gesättigtes Ammoniumchlorid
gegossen, und es wurde Äther zugefügt. Die Ätherschicht wurde mit gesättigter Natriirnchloridlosung gewaschen, über Natriumsulfat getrocknet und unter vermindertem
Druck eingedampft; so erhielt man Äthyl-10,11-oxido-3f11-dimethyl-7—äthyldodeca-2,6~dienoat,
das durch Chromatographie gereinigt werden kann.

2 Stunden bestrahlt, bis das Ausgangsmaterial verschwunden war, ras durch Dünnschichtchromatogr&phie verfolgt wurde. Die Reaktionsmischung wurde ohne
Isolierung des Reaktionsproduktes (Athyl-6—hydroperaxy—7-methylen-3-methyi—
non—2-enoat) auf 5 C. abgekühlt, dann wurden 7,5 g Trimethylphosphit zugefügt.
Die Reduktion war nach etwa 3 Stunden beendet, und man erhielt den allylischen Alkohol (Mthyl-6-hydroxy-7-methylen—3-methylnon—2-enoat). Nach
Entfernung von etwa 2 Dritteln des Methanollösungsmittels wurde die Mischung mit Wasser verdünnt und mit Hexan extrahiert.
Die Hexanextrakte wurden mit Wasser, gesättigtem Natriumchlorid, gesättigtem
Natriumbicarbonat und dann mit Kochsalzlösung gewaschen, über Natriumsulfat
getrocknet und eingedampft; so erhielt man den allylischen Alkohol (Äthyl-6-hydroxy-7-methylen-3-methylnon-2-enoat),
der durch fraktionierte Destillation unter vermindertem Druck gereinigt werden kann.
(B) Das Verfahren von Teil A wurde unter Verwendung von N,N-Diöthyl-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dienamid,
N,N-Diäthyl-3,7-dimethylnana-dienamid, 1-Äthoxy-3,7-dimethylon,ta-2,6-dien
und 1-Athoxy-3,7-dimethylnona-2,G-dien wiederholt,
wodurch man das entsprechende allylische Hydroperoxyd und den allylischen Alkohol erhielt, nämlich N,N-Diäthyl-6-hydroperaxy-7-methylen-3-methyloct-2~
enamid und Ν,Ν-Oiäthyl-S—hydroxy-7—methylen—3-methyloct-2-ünamid; N,N-Diäthyl-S-hydroperoxy-7-mc

(C) Jeder der allylischen Alkoholßaus Teil A-und B wurde mit Essigsäureanhydrnd
in Pyridin. behandelt, wodurch man das entsprechende allylische Acetat
einhielt, nämlich /,thyl-6-acetoxy—7-methylen-3-methylnon-2-enoat, N,N-Diäthyl-6-acetoxy~7-mGthylen-3-methyloct-2-enamid,
N,N-üiä€hyl-6-acetoxy-7-methylen-3-methylnon-2-enamid,
1-/\thoxy-ß-acetoxy—7—methylen-3-methyloct-2—en
und i-nthoxy-G-acetoxy^-methylen-S—methyl no n—2-en.
Durch Verwendung anderer Carbonsäureanhydride, wie Propionsäureanhydrid,
Benzoesüureanhydrid, n-Buttersäureanhydrid usw., anstelle von.Essigsäure—
anhydrid erhielt man in derselben Weise die entsprechenden allylischen Acylate.
(a) Eine Lösung aus 2 g Methyl-3,7-dimethylnona-2,6-dienoat in 20 ecm trockenem
Äther wurde unter Rühren zu 0,3 g Lithiumaluminiumhydrid unter einer Ätherdecke bei 0 C. zugefügt. Nach etwa 2 Stunden wurden 2 ecm Essigsäure
zugefügt. Die Mischung wurde mit Eiswasser gewaschen und die Ätherphase getrocknet und eingedampft; so erhielt man ^
In ähnlicher Weise wurde Methyl-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dienoat zu 3,7-Dimethylocta-2,ü-dien-1-al
reduziert.

(Β) zu 1 g 3,7-0irr,ethylnona-2,G-dien--1-ol in 15 com trockenem /,ther wurde
molares Äquivalent Diuzoäthan zugefügt. Es wurde 1 Tropfen Ltoi »Trifluariu1
zugefügt und die Mischung 1 Stunde bei 0°C. und dann weitore 2 Stunden bsi
Zimmertemperatur stehen gelassen. Dann wurde die Mischung mit Wasser gewaschen und die organische Phase eingedampft; so erhielt man 1-/\ttioxy-3,7~
dimethylnona—2,6-dien.
Durch Verwendung von Diazomethan und Diazopropan erhielt man den entspre—
chenden Methyläther und Propyläther.
(C) 1 g 3,7-Dimethylnona-2,6--dien-1-ol in 10 ecm Uiglym wurde zu einer Aufschlämmung
aus 0,75 g Natriumhydrid in 10 ecm Üiglyum unter Stickstoff eingetropft.
Zu dieser Mischung wurden 0,7 g 2-Chlortetrahydropyran zugefügt und
die Mischung dann 30 Minuten bei etwa 25 C. gerührt und in Eiswasser abgeschreckt.
Die organische Phase wurde abgetrennt und die wässrige Phase erneut mit Äther extrahiert. Die vereinigten organischen Materialien wurden
mit Wasser gewaschen, über Natriumsulfat getrocknet und eingedampft; so erhielt man 1-(Tetrahydropyran-2'-yloxy)-3,7-dimethylnona-2,ß-dien.
Durch Verwendung von 2-Chlortetrahydrofuran, Cyclohexylchlorid und anderen
Kohlenwasserstoffchloriden und -bromiden im Dbigen Verfahren erhielt man die
entsprechenden Äther.
(D) Zu einer Mischung aus 3,7-Dimethylnona-2,(_>-dien-1-ol und 25 ecm Etenzol
bei 0 C. wurde eine Lösung aus 4 ecm Phosphortribromid in 18 ecm Benzol innerhalb
von 15 Minuten zugefügt. Die Mischung wurde; 1 Stunde bei 0°C. gerührt
und dann 2 Stunden auf £0 "C. erwärmt, in Eiswasücr gegossen und mit Pentan

extrahiert. Die vereinigten Extrakte wurden mit wässrigem Natriumbicarbanat,
Wasser und Kochsalzlösung gewaschen, getrocknet und eingedampft und ergaben
1—Brom—3,7-dimethylnona—2,6—dien.
Durch Verwendung van Phosphortrichlorid im obigen Verfahren erhielt man
3,7-dimethylnona-2,6-dien. In ähnlicher Weise können 1-Brom- und 1-Chlor-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dien
hergestellt werden.
(E) Eine Mischung aus 1 g 1-Brom~3,7-dimethylnona-2,6-dien, 0,8 g erneut" sublimiertem
Sesamöl, 0,3 g trockenem Kaliumcarbonat und 20 ecm Dimethylacetamid
wurde 3 Stunden zum Rückfluß erhitzt, in Wasser gegossen und mit Pentan extrahiert.
Das Rohprodukt wurde durch Chromatographie gereinigt, wobei mit Hexan/Äthylacetat eluiert wurde; so erhielt man 1-(3' ,^-Methylendioxy)^,?-
dimethylnona-2,6-dien.
(A) Zu einer 15-f/oigen Lösung aus Butyllithium in Hexan (420 ecm) wurde bei
—10 C. unter Rühren eine Lösung aus 49 g trockenem Dxathylamin in 530 ecm'
trockenem Äther zugefügt. Zur Erzielung einer molaren Lösung von Diäthylaminoiithium
wurde die Mischung 1 Stunde bei 200C. gerührt.
Etwa 30 ecm der so hergestellten Lösung wurden zu 10 g Methyl-3,7-dimethylnona-2,6-dienoat
in 75 ecm trockenem Äther zugegeben und die Reaktionsmischung
4 Stunden bei Zimmertemperatur gerührt. Die Mischung wurde mit wässriger O|1N-HC1 und V/asser gewaschen, über Natriumsulfat getrocknet und eingedampft;
so erhielt man N,N-üiäthyl-3,7-dimethylnona-2,6«dienamid.

Durch Varwendung anderer Amine, wie t-thylatain, üininthylamiri usw., im
Verfahren erhielt man die entsprechenden Amide.
Wurde als Augnngsmaterial l,iethyl-3,7-dimethylocta-2,C)-dienQat verwendet,
so erhielt man NjN-Diäthyl-SjV-dimethylocta-^jü-dienamid.
Beispiel 10 .
Zu 486 mg Cuprojodid in 10 ecm trockenem nther unter Argon bei -100C.
wurden 2,82 ecm 1,6M Methyllithium in /Äther zugefügt. Es wurde 20 Minuten
bei -10DC. gerührt, dann wurden 342 mg des Äthylenketals" von 5-Acetoxy-6-methylenheptan-2-αη
in 15 ecm Äther zugefügt, worauf weitere 30 Minuten gerührt wurde. Dann wurde die Mischung in Wasser gegossen und das Rohprodukt
(eis- und trans-Isomere des Äthylenketals von 6-Methyloct-5-en-2-on) mit
Äther extrahiert und durch Chromatographie gereinigt und getrennt. Das so erhaltene Ketal wurde wurde hydrolysiert, indem es in Aceton mit einigen
Tropfen 1N HCl 6 Stunden bei Zimmertemperatur gerührt würde; so erhielt man
6-4^ethyloct-5-en-2-on, das nach Behandlung mit Diäthylcarbäthoxymethyl- .
phosphonat in Anwesenheit von Natriumhydrid Athyl-3,7-dimethylnona-2,6-dienoat
ergab.
Durch Anwendung des Verfahrens von Beispiel 1 mit dem Äthylenketal von
6-Methylhept-5-en-2-on als Ausgangsmaterial erhielt man das Äthylenketal von
5-Acetaxy-6—methylenheptan—2—on.

Claims (1)
- P^a ton t η π η η r ü ehe 1.- Verfahren zur Alkylierung von Polyolefinen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man in einnrn organischen Lösungsmittel in Anwesenheit van Gauerstoff und einem Gennibilisatar eine Verbindung der Formel:R2GH2 H CH3-C=CH-(CH2) -C=CH-Zzur Bildung eines allylischen Hydroperoxyds der Formel:CH2 R CH2=C-CH-(CH2)n-C=CH-Z 6oH•-jhotooxygeniert (oxydiert), das allylische Hydroperoxyd zu einem allylischen Alkohol der Formel:R2CH2 R CH2=C-CH-(CH2)n-C=CH-Z OHreduziert, den allylischen Alkohol zu einem allylischen Acylat der Formel:CH2 R1CHp=C-CH-(CH2)n-C=CH-Z OAcverestert und das allylische Acylat durch Behandlung mit einem Di-organo-Kupferlithiumreagenz der Formel:R2Cu Li zur Bildung einer Verbindung der Formel:i-?3 ■■'- / 1 *' 0
