Mehrzweckschmieröl
Die vorliegende Erfindung "betrifft mehrfach wirksame
Schmiermittelzusatzmassen und Schmieröle, die diese enthalten· Insbesondere betrifft die Erfindung Ölmassen,
die zur Verwendung nicht nur im Motor, sondern auch in den Getrieben und sonst^wo von Kraftfahrzeugbestandteilen
geeignet sind, beispielsweise durch innere Verbrennungs—
motoren, insbesondere Dieselmotoren, angetriebene Kraft»
fahrzeuge·
Die Erfindung ist besonders brauchbar zur Schmierung von Traktoren, insbesondere großen Traktoren, Kippern,
Räumfahrzeugen und anderen schwerbelasteten Geräten und
für Fahrzeuge mit gemeinsamer Sumpfschmierung von Motor und Welle, wobei ein begrenztes Gleitfifferential verwendet
wird.
Auf dem Fachgebiet wurde eine steigende Vielzahl von Flüssigkeiten auf Ölbasis entwickelt, die für viele
spezifische Wirkungen oder Funktionen bestimmt oder geeignet sind. Zu derartigen Wirkungen gehören Motorschmierung,
Kraftübertragung, hydraulische Regelung und Schmierung von Getrieben, beispielsweise in der abschliessanden
Antriebswelle der Fahrzeuge. Andere der-

artige Funktionen τοη speziellen Interesse in Verbindung
■it der Torliegenden Erfindung bestehen in der öleintauchung von Scheibenbremsen, die hier mis WaSbreasen beseichnet «erden, und die Anwendung in den Kraftübertragungeeinrichtungen, beiapieleweise τοη Traktoren.
Obwohl diese Teraehiedenen Punktionen einsein durch
verschiedene getrennte öle erfüllt werden können9 die
jeweils eng auf eine spezifische Punktion eingestellt sind« ist es nachteilig* sieh Bit so sahireichen unterschiedlichen Ölen beia Betrieb und der Unterhaltung
eines Fahrzeuges befassen su Bussen, was nicht nur unbequem ist, sondern auch su ernsthaften und kostspieligen
Irrtümern ronselten eines weniger Erfahrenen führen kann.
Ss werden deiialb aus eines einsigen öl bestehende Massen
bevorsugt, die sufriedenstellend sehr als eine derartige Funktion erfüllen können. Dies nötigt su ZusMtsen oder
Zusatskombinationen für Schmiermittel, die sur Erfüllung
der dlTergierenden Anforderungen geeignet sind.

"Kleb-frleit^-Effekt, der auftritt, wenn die statische'
Heibung in Scheibenbremsen zu hoch i3t und die dynamische
Reibung zu niedrig ist). Einige der wirksamsten lieibungsffludifizierer, beispielsweise Seifen, können
Störungen hinsichtlich des Schutzes der Wellengetriebe ergeben.
Die Anwendung von ölverdickern von polymerer Art»
beispielsweise Polyraethacrylaten, ergibt bei zahlreichen
Dieselmotoren eine .Steigung für Probleme der oberen
Kerbenfüllung mit Kohlenstoff und macht einen erhöhten Detergentieagehalt notwendig.
Die Auswahl von Detergentien, Mittel für extremen Druck und Heibungamodifizierern stellt deshalb einen
kritischen Sachverhalt hinsichtlich der Art, der relativen Auegewogenheit und der Gesamtdosierung dieser Bestandteile
dar.
Es wurden bereits Versuche unternommen, um die Anfordernlese für mehr als eine der vorstehend aufgeführten
Funktionen in einem einzigen öl zu erfüllen. Kehrfach wirksame Traktorenöle sind bekannt, jedoch fehlt bei
ihnen ein Schutz der Wellengetriebe und in keinem Fall sind derartige Öle zur Verwendung in Naßbremsen geeignet·
Andere Kehrzwecköle zur Anwendung bei Naßbremeen, Tranamiteionen,
hydraulischen Systemen oder Wellengetrieben sind wieder nicht zur Motorschmierung geeignet. Ein

tatsächlich universales öl, welches sämtliche Anforderniese
von allen vorstehend aufgeführten Funktionen be-• friedigt, ist bisher nicht bekannt.
Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht in einer Zusatzmasse und einem öl, da3 diesen Zusatz enthält, und das
zur Verwendung mindestens im Motor und aonst wo, beispielsweise in kraftübertragenden Wellengetrieben und
Naftbremsen von beweglichen rait Kraft versorgten Geräten,
beispielsweise Traktoren, geeignet 1st·
Gemäß,der Erfindung ergibt sich eine Zusatzraaaae
für ein Mehrzweckschmieröl, das eine ausgewogene Kombination von
(A) etwa 2 bis etwa 15 Gew.-Teile oiner Masse aus
(1) etwa 50 bi3 etwa 95 Gew.-# eines in Mineralöl löslichen
oder diapergierbaren basischen Detergens mit
einer GeaamtbasenEahl (TBN) von mindestens etwa 75 und
(2) etwa 5 bis etwa 50 Gew.-i5 eines in Mineralöl löslichen
Antioxydationsmittel aus der Gruppe von Hetallalkyldlthiophosphaten
und/oder Phenolen und
(B) etwa 1 bis etwa 3 Gew.-Teile einer Masse aus
(a) (t) etwa 30 bis etwa 95 Gew.-# eines aulfurislerten
C12-O2i-Fette oder
(2) etwa 30 bis etwa 95 Gew.-^ einer Korabination von
etwa 50 bis etwa 80 Gew.-$ einer der schwefelhaltigen
Verbindungen Alkylsulfiden und/oder Alkylpolysulfiden, wobei die Alkylgruppen 1 bis
8 Kohlenstoffatome besitsen, und/oder oulfurinierten
Polyolefinon, wobei die Olafine 2 bis 8
Kohlenstoffatome je Molekül besitzen, und aus

Die bevorzugten Zusatcmaasen enthalten etwa 5 bis

in einer Menge von etwa 5 bis etwa 25 Gew.--^ vorhanden.
Es lot auch möglich, daß ein Teil dee Detergents durch ein Dispergiermittel der nachfolgend geschilderten
Art ersetzt werden kann. Sonit können bis zu etwa 60 und
bevorzugt bis zu etwa 40 Gew.-^S dos Betergents durch eines
oder mehrere der Dispergiermittel ersetzt werden.
Als v/eitei'e Modifizierung kann ein Teil dee Antioxydationsmittels
durch ein AntiabnUtzungsmlttel der nachfolgend beschriebenen Art oraetnt werden.

Die basischen Detergentien eind basische Erdalkali»
sulfonate und -phenolate, wozu auch diejenigen gehören, bei denen Überschüssiges Metall mit normalen ίietallsaltsen derselben vereinigt ist. Diese Verbindungen werden
als überbasische Metallsulfonate und -phenolate bezeichne t# Je höher das Ausmaü der Überbasiechkeit ist,
eine desto geringere Menge ist notwendig, um üTlÖeliche
Komplexe zu bilden» Die für diese Uberbasischen Salze
ver endeten Metalle gehören zur Gruppe II des Feriodensystenss Barium, Calcium und Magnesium sind besondere
wirksam· Die in den amerikanischen Patentschriften 3 133 019 und 3 158 572 beschriebenen überbasischen SuIfonatsalse sind repräsentative Beispiele für geeignete
Sulfonate· Sie umfassen die Erdöl- und aromatischen Sulfonate. Die in der amerikanischen Patentschrift 2 916
beschriebenen Erdalkal!phenolate sind Beispiele für geeignete Phenolate,
Weitere typische verwendbare basische Detergentien sind in den amerikanischen Patentschriften 2 739 124,
3 0'36 971, 3 046 224, 3 133 019, 3 213 019, 3 259 576
und 3 350 310 beschrieben.
Die Menge des Metalle ih den überbasischen Salsen
kann swieohen etwa \i» und etwa 20 i» der Geeamtverbihdung
liegen· Diese basischen Verbindungen werden auch hinsichtlich der Alkalinitat durcn die Qesamtbaeenzahl (TBN) in
Milligraaa Ksliumhydrozyd je flramm Probe, entsprechend
der AS'fM-Methode D-664 bewertet. Geeignete basische Salze
mit Gesamtbaeensahlen im Bereich τοη etwa 150 bis 400
können verwendet werden. .--■■.-■;■<■-
Es ist auch möglieh., dato ein Teil dee baeiBchen
Detergents durch ein neutrales metallhaltiges Betergens oder ein derartiges Detergens mit einer niedrigen Baeenzahl
(TBN von 10 - 100), beispielsweise Calcium-, Barium- oder iiagnesiumsulfonat, -phosphonat und -phenolai,
oder mit einem Reaktioiiskomplex, der eine derartige Verbindung
enthält, beispielsweise einem phosphoBulfurisierten
Polybutenbariumphenolatsulfon&t arsetat werden
kann. Somit kann ein neutraleβ Detergens oder ein Detergens
mit niedriger Geeaintbasenzahl zusammen mit einem oder
mehreren basischen Detergentien enthalten Bein, mit der Maisgabe,- daß die Gesaratbasenzahl der Detergentien
mindestens etwa 75 beträgt.
Zu den hier verwendeten Antoxydationsmittel gehören Phenole und Metallalkyldithiophosphate, deren Metalle
entweder aus Zink, Cadmium oder Nickel bestehen und deren Alkylgruppen etwa 4 bis etwa 12 Kohlenstoffatome enthalten.
Zu den typischen Phenolen gehören«

Beispiele für Metallalkyldithiophosphate sind Zinkdihexyldithiophoophat,
Zinkdioctyldithiophosphat, Cadmiumdibutyldithiophosphat
und Hickeldiamyldithiophosphat.

Die Dispersionsmittel sind praktisch aschefrei und bestehen bevorzugt aus AlkenylbernsteinBäureanhydridpolyalkylenpolyaminen.
Derartige Dispersionsmittel werden erhalten durch Umsetzung von Alkenylbernstelnsäureanhydriden
mit etwa 18 Kohlenstoffatomen in der Alkenylgruppe

Bind bekannt, wobei das günstigste Verfahren in der Umsetzung eines Olefins mit Maleinsäureanhydrid
besteht ( amerikanische Patentschrift 2 638 450),
Beispiele für Alkenylbernsfceinaäureanhydride umfangen
Butenylbernstelnoäureanhydrid und Polybutenbernsteinaäureanhydrid,
wobei das Polybuten ein'Molekulargewicht von etwa 900 hat, Beispiele für Polyamine umfassen
Athylandlamln, Propylendiamin,Eüfchylentriamin, Triäti/ltjntetraniin,
letraäthylonpantamin, Dipropylentx'iamin und
aminoBubsfcituiorta Alkylamine, woböl diese diß ?ormol
ENHCH2GH2Ch2NH2 haben, worin H ein Gemisch von Alkylgruppen,
die aich von Fettsäuren ableiten, bodeutet.
Andere geeignete Diepersionsmittel umfassen Glykolestor
dieser Alkanylbernsteinsauroanhydrida, die durch
Veresterung der Anhydride mit Slykolan erhalten werden.
Zu typischen Glykolen für derartige Umsetzungen gehören
Äfehyleiiglykpl, Propylengiykol und Trims thylanglylcol,
Weitere andere geeignete Dispersionamittal umfassen
Hydroxylaminester der Alkenylbernsteiiiöäux'eanhydride,
Dlaae v/arden durch Veresterung der Anhydride mit Hydroiyl-

alkylaminen erhalten, für die Beispiele in den Äthanolaminen und fropanolaminen vorliegen.
Ein bevorzugtes Dispersionsmittel stellt da» Poly- .
butenbernsteinsäureanhydrldtetraäthylenpentamin dar, wobei der folybutenreet ein Molekulargewicht von 900 besitxt.
Es können im Bestandteil (A) auch etwa 0,1 bis etwa 2 Gew.-,O eines Antiabnlitssungsaittels, das aus einem Metallalkyldithiophoephat besteht, vorhanden sein, wobei
das Metall aus Zink, Cadmium oder Nickel besteht und die
Alkylgruppen etwa 4 bis etwa 12 Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen. Ein bevorzugtes Mittel 1st Zlnkdihexyldithiophosphat.
Der Bestandteil (B) laßt sich als wirksam zur Eeibungsmodlfiaierung und für die Eigenschaften bei extremen
Druck betrachten.
Im Bestandteil (B) ist das sulfurlslerte Fett (&) (1)
be vor äugt in einer Menge von etwa. 60 bis etwa 90 Gew»->4
vorhanden· Die schwefelhaltige Verbindung oder das darauf basierende Polymere (a) (2) ist bevorzugt in einer Meng«

Die üblichen schwefelhaltigen Massen können in den
Zusatzmaaaen verwendet werden. Dies ßind Massen, worin
der Schwefel lecker oder stark gebunden ist. Typische Beispiele für derartige Xasaen 3ind aulfurisierte Tier-Öle,
Seetieröle oder pflanzliche öle und Isrpene, die bis zu etwa 20 3ew.--i Schwefel enthalten. Sulfurieiertee
Schweinefett und sulfurisierte Spermöle sind Beispiele
für derartige Maseen. /erfahren zur Herstellung derartiger
Maaaeii sind in der amerikanischen Patentschrift 2 993 Q58
beschrieben.
Zu anderen geeigneten schwefölhaltigen Produkten
gehören sulfurisierte Oarianylalkyläther (amerikanische
Patentschrift 2 361 553) und Schwefelperchlorinethylraersaptanprodukte
(amerikanische Patentschrift 2 3?.9 324),
Die schwefelhaltigen Verbindungen (B) (2) sind Alkylsulfider
Alkylpolyeulfide oder sulfurisierte Polyolefine« Beispiele für derartige Verbindungen sind liamylsulfid,

Di-tert.-butyldiaulfiii und eulfurioiert· Polybutene, die
bis zu etwa 50 und bevorzugt etwa 40 Gew.-9ε Schwefel enthalten.
Zu den reibungemodifizierenden Mitteln gehören
Spermöl, C12- C24~ i>ettöäuren» wie Laurinsäure, l-yristinoäure, Palmitinaäure, Stearinsäure und Oleinsäure und
substituierte Fettsäuren, beispielsweise Qleylsarkosin.
Wie ausgeführt, können die Phosphite solche sein, die mindestens eine Alkylgruppe mit etwa 12 bis etwa 24
Kohlenstoffatomen enthalten, beispielsweise Dioleylphoaphit und Dilaurylphoephit. Andere Phosphite sind diejenigen, worin die Alkylgruppen 1 bis etwa 6 Kohlenstoffatome besitzen und Beispiele hierfür sind Dibutylphosphit
und Amylphenylphosphit«
Beispiele für organische saure Phosphate sind die
sauren Mono- und Di-otearylphosphate, saure gemischte
C1J - Cjg-Alkylphoaphate, saure Laurylphosphate und saure
Oleylphospliate ·
Die Bestandteile dee so gewählten Zusatzes werden zu
einer Masse; venniecht, die bei der Einverleibung in ein
geeignetes Grundöl einen Ausgleich der Eigenschaften ergibt. D.h., die Anfordernisse der verschiedenen Punktionen,
denen das öl dienen soll, werden sämtliche durch den Ausgleich der in Betracht kommenden Faktoren erfüllt; die
tatsächlichen Zahlenverhältniaee jedes Bestandteils zur
Befriedigung dieses Ausgleiches variieren entsprechend

können Viskoeitätaindexe aufweisen, die von unterhalb 0
bis etwa 100 oder höher variieren. Viakoaitätaindexwerte
von etwa 70 bis etwa 95 werden bevorzugt·
Die folgenden Beispiele, die in Tabelle I zum Zweck der Erläuterung der Erfindung zusammengefasst sind, geben
Zusatzmaasen gemäß der Erfindung wieder» bei denen unterschiedliche Ausgleiche der Anfordernisse für den Motor,
die Antriebswelle und das Naßbremsverhalten erfüllt sind.

Jede Maas« aua den vorstehenden Beispielen der Zu-Ejatzkoiabinaticmen
wurde in eine Grundmineralölmasse mit einem geeigneten Verbeeeerer aes Viskositäteindex einverleibt«

werden natürlich entsprechend den bekannten Anfordernlesen gewählt, wobei die Grenzen der Anforderniase
durch die verschiedenen zu erfüllenden Bedingungen gesetzt werden. Ein typineheβ im Miagleich befindliches öl
enthält auf daa Gewicht bezogen

10 % einer Lösungsmittelnaphthenmaese von 100 Sekunden
zusammen mit
2,5 Gew„-# eines Polymethacrylate von hohem Molekulargewicht
(Acrylοid 940 von Rohm & Haas) ale Viskositätsindexverbesserer.
Dieses Öl hat eine Ehdviskositat im Bereich SAE 20/30
und eine Viskosität bei niedriger Temperatur von 4000 cps
bei -17,8<C ( 00P) . Falle zur Erhöhung der Fließfähigkeit
bei niedriger Temperatur ein zu flüchtiger naphthenischer
Bestandteil verwendet wird, treten MotorölTerbrauchsprobleme
auf.
Die vorstehend in den Beispielen 1 bis 8 aufgeführten
ZusatskomblnatIonen, die mit dem vorstehenden
ürundöl und Viskositätsindexverbesserer verarbeitet wurden,

wurden untersucht und verglichen mit zwei bekannten Ölen
I und II von mehrfacher Wlrkoamkelt, wobei dia Ergebnisse
nachfolgend in iaballe II zueaininangsfaast- sind. Öl I baatand

Die Werte aueder vorstehenden Tabelle II belegen
die wesentlichen Vorteile der erfindungegemäßen Massen,
nämlich die Fähigkeit zum Schmieren von Motoren, was
Mehrζwecknaßbremsenöle nicht können, und die Antler—
schUtterungseigenschaften bei Haßbremsen und das BelaetungabesLindigkeitsverhalten, die überlegen zu denjenigen eines üblichen UniverBaItraktoröles sind.
Aufgrund der Erfindung ergibt sich deshalb cum ersten
Mal ein Ul, welches wirksam für sämtliche Schmierfunktionen
von Kraftfahrzeugen der beschriebenen Art verwendet werden kann·

Claims (1)
- Patentansprüche1. MehrBweckschmieröl, gekennzeichnet durch ein· Zusatskombination aus(1) 50 bis 95 Gew.-56 eines tiberbasi sehen Erdalkalisulfonats oder -phenolats mit einer Gesamtbasensahl von mindestens etwa 75« welches in Mineralölen löslich oder dispergierber 1st,(2) 5 bis 50 Gew.-Ji eines Antioxydationsmittels» welches ein Phenol oder ein Zink-, Cadmium- oder Nickelalkyldlthlophosphat darρteilt, deren Alkylgruppen Jewell* 4 bis 12 Kohlenetoffatome aufweisen, wobei das Antioxydationsmittel In Mineralöl löslich ist,und aus(B) 1 bis 8 Gew.-Teilen einer Masse aus (a) 30 bis 95 Gew.-#(1) eines uulfurieierten C12-C2^-Fettee oder(2) 30 bis 95 Gew.-i» einer Kombination aus 50 bis 80 Gew.-^. eines Alkyl sulfide oder eines Alkylpolysulfids« deren Alkylgruppen 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen, oder eines sulfurislerten Polyolefins, das sich von einem Olefin mit 2 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen je Molekül ableitet, und 20 bis 50 Gew.-% eines Spermöle, einer C^p - Cp^-Fettsäure oder eines C^g ~C24~ Alkenylaarkosins als Reibungsmodifizierungsmittel und(b) 5 bis 70 Gew.-9t(3) eines organischen Phosphite, welches mindestens ein· Alkyl- oder Alk«nylgrupp· mit 12 bis 24BAD ORIGINAL 9 0 9 8 4 9/1312 ,Kohlenetoffatomen enthält, oder einei organischen sauren Phosphates, wobei jede Alkyl« oder Alkenylgruppe 12 bis 24 Kohlenstoffatone aufweist, oder (4) einer Kombination aus 50 bis Θ0 Gew.-ji eines organischen Phosphite, dessen Alkylgruppen 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoff atom« aufweisen, und 20 bis 50 Gew.-^ des vorstehenden ReibungemodlfiElerungsmlttels.2· öl nach Anspruch 1, gekennaeichnet durch einen Gehalt an 5 bis 10 üew.-Teilen (A) und an 2 bis 5 Gew,-Teilen (B).3. öl nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennseichnet, ά&Ιί das Detergent (A) (1) aus einem Calciuaeulfonat mit einer Geearatbasensahl Ton etwa 300 besteht»4· öl nach Anspruch 1 bis 3» dadurch gekenneeIchnet, daß das Antioxydationsmittel (A) (2) aus Zinkdihexyldithiophosphat besteht·5· öl nach Anspruch 1 bis 4, dadurch gekenneelohnet, daß es ein Alkenylbernstelnsäureanhydridpolyalkylenpolyamin als Dispersionsmittel, bevorzugt ein Polybutenbern- ' steinsäureanhydrldtetraäthylenpentamin enthält·6. öl nach Anspruch 1 bis 5» dadurch gekennzeichnet« daß das sulfurisierte Fett (B) (a) (1) aus sulfurlslertea Spermöl besteht, welches etwa 13 Gew.-£ Schwefel enthält·7· öl nach Anspruch 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet« daß das sulfurisierte Polyolefin (B) (a) (2) aus elnea sulfurIelertem Polybuten, welches etwa 40 Gew.-jC Schwefel enthält, oder aus Oleylsarkosin besteht·8· öl nach Anspruch 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das organische Phosphit (B) (b) (3) aus Dloleylphosphit besteht·909 84 9/13129.
