Claims (12)

0H5607 R/5601 Patentansprüche
1. Wäßriges oder wasserfreies kosmetisches Mittel, das eine Fettphase enthält, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Fettphase im wesentlichen aus Kariteöl.oder einer Mischung aus Kariteöl und mindestens einem weiteren öl, einem Fett und/oder einem kosmetischen Wachs besteht.
2. Mittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Kariteöl folgende Charakteristika besitzt:
2Q Palmitinsäure (C16) 3 - 5 %
Stearinsäure (C1Q) 22 - 30 %

Oleinsäure (C18.-J1 55 - 65 %
Linolsäure (C18.2) 0,5 - 1,5 %
Arachinsäure (C20) 0,5 - 1,5 %
(Diese Prozentangaben sind bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Fettsäuren)
Viskosität: 100 - 300 cps
Schmelzpunkt: 5,1 - 5,4 0C
Kristallisation: 2,9 - 3 0C
Unverseifbarer Anteil: 1,2 - 1,5 %
3. Mittel nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Kariteöl die folgenden Fettsäureanteile aufweisen;

4. Mittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Kariteöl aus der Verarbeitung von Karitebutter mit Hilfe von organischen Lösungsmitteln, insbesondere Aceton,stammt.
5. Mittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Kariteöl in einer Konzentration von 1 bis 80 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht des Mittels, vorhanden ist.
6. Mittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Fettphase in einem Anteil von 4 bis 99,9 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht des Mittels, vorhanden ist.
7. Kosmetisches Mittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es als Wasserin-Öl oder Öl-in-Wasser-Emulsion vorliegt, wobei die Fettphase 4 bis 60 Gew.-%, die wäßrige Phase 3 bis Gew.-% und der Emulgator 1 bis 20 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise jedoch 2 bis 12 Gew.-%, ausmachen.
8. Mittel nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daßdie Fettphase vorzugsweise 2 bis 30 Gew.-% Kariteöl enthält, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht des Mittels.

9. Mittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es mindestens eine essentielle Fettsäure oder eine Mischung dieser
Säuren, insbesondere Vitamin F, als freie Säure oder 5
als Ester enthält.
10. Mittel nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die alleine oder in Mischung vorliegende Fettsäure in einer Konzentration von 0,2 bis 20 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gewicht des Kariteöls, vorhanden ist.
11. Mittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es außerdem ein Antioxidans, wie Butylhydroxyanisol oder Butylhydroxy-
toluol, oder eine Mischung dieser Substanzen in einem Anteil von 0,002 bis 0,2 %, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht des Mittels, enthält.
12. Mittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, da-20
durch gekennzeichnet, daß es außerdem andere Bestandteile, wie Farbstoffe, Parfüms, Konservierungsmittel, UV-Filter, Pigmente, perlmuttschimmerverleihende Mittel und anorganische oder organische
