Description
- Verfahren zur Herstellung von Zusatzstoffen für Mineralöle, z. B. Schmieröle Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf die Herstellung geschwefelter Kohlenwasserstoffe mit verbesserten Stabilitätseigenschaften, insbesondere die Stabilisierung von geschwefelten Kohlenwasserstoffen, die normalerweise Schwefelwasserstoff entwickeln, beim Lagern Schlamm bilden usw., die als Mineralölzusätze u. dgl. dienen sollen.
- Die Verwendung metallischer Reinigungsmittel in Schmierölvermischungen für Verbrennungsmotoren ist bekannt und hat die Schmieröle wesentlich verbessert. Diese Reinigungsmittel sind besonders wertvoll in Schmierölvermischungen, die in Verbrennungsmotoren beim Betrieb von Kraftwagen, Flugzeugen und ähnlichen Fahrzeugen einschließlich Dieselmaschinen verwendet werden, um deren Betrieb durch Verhinderung oder Eindämmung von. Korrosionen, des Steckenbleibens von Kolbenringen, der Zylinderabnutzung sowie der Bildung kohle- und lackartiger Stoffe zu verbessern. Wenn jedoch metallische Reinigungsmittel in Schmierölen bei großem Ölverbrauch und unter schweren Betriebsbedingungen verwendet werden, wie in Flugzeugmotoren, oder mit Konzentrationen an metallischen Reinigungsmitteln, die die Maschinen sauberhalten sollen, wenn zu starken Ablagerungen neigende gekrackte oder natürliche schwefelreiche Kraftstoffe benutzt werden, wie beim Betrieb von Kraftwagen und Dieselmaschinen, reichert sich der Aschengehalt der metallischen Reinigungsmittel in der Verbrennungskammer an und bewirkt Vorzündung, Detonation, Zündkerzenstörung,Ventilbrände und schließlich Zerstörung des Motors.
- Es ist bekannt, daß das saure Produkt, das durch Schwefelung von Kohlenwasserstoffen erhalten wird, gegen Oxydation schützende, reinigende oder andere wertvolle Eigenschaften besitzt, wenn es Mineralölen einverleibt ist. Jedoch sind dieseProdukte fürdie technische Verwendung nicht einwandfrei, weil sie allmählich Schwefelwasserstoff entwickeln und demgemäß einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch besitzen. Ferner sind solche Produkte manchmal unbeständig und neigen bei kurzem Stehen bei Raumtemperatur zur Ausfällung von hellgefärbten festen Stoffen.
- Es wurde nun gefunden, daß solche Reaktionsprodukte mit einem Kohlenwasserstoff, der eine oder mehrere Olefindoppelbindungen aufweist, unter Entwicklung von Wärme sogar bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur und unter Bildung eines Produktes reagieren, das nicht nur beim Einverleiben in Schmieröle oder andere Mineralölprodukte reinigend und korrosionsverhindernd wirkt, sondern auch weniger zur Schwefelwasserstoffentwicklung und Ausfällung fester Stoffe bei längerem Stehen neigt. Ferner hinterläßt das Produkt, da es kein Metall enthält, als Zusatzstoff für Kurbelgehäuseschmiermittel von Verbrennungsmotoren keinen metallischen Niederschlag oder Asche. Diese Verbindungen sind nicht nur bei direktem Zusatz zu Schmiermitteln von Kurbelgehäusen, sondern auch bei Zusatz zum Kraftstoff wirksam, da sie beim Betrieb des Motors von der Verbrennungskammer in das Kurbelgehäuse gelangen und sich dort mit dem Schmieröl vermischen.
- Die Zusätze nach vorliegender Erfindung sind auch in Hochdruckgetriebeölen oder Schmierfetten zur Verstärkung der Leistungsfähigkeit wirksam, wenn die Belastungen außerordentlich hoch sind, z. B. bei Kraftwagendifferential- und Hypoidgetrieben.
- Bei der Herstellung geschwefelter Zusatzstoffe gemäß Erfindung werden Schwefel oder ein Phosphorsulfid mit Kohlenwasserstoffen unter Bildung von geschwefelten Derivaten umgesetzt. Phosphorsulfide sind z. B. P,S3, P2 S5, Pass, P, S, vorzugsweise Phosphorpentasulfid P2 S5. Gemische von zwei oder mehreren Phosphorsulfiden können auch verwendet werden sowie Gemische aus elementarem Phosphor und Schwefel, ferner, elementarer Schwefel oder Schwefelhalogenide.
- Beispiele von Kohlenwasserstoffen, die mit dem Schwefelungsmittel in an sich bekannter Weise umgesetzt werden können, sind Paraffine, Olefine, Olefinpolymere, Diolefine, Acetylene, Aromaten oder Alkylaromaten, cyclische Aliphaten, Erdölfraktionen, wie Schmierölfraktionen, Vaseline (Petrolatum), Wachse, Kreislauföle aus Spaltverfahren oder Kondensationsprodukte von Erdölfraktionen oder Lösungsmittelextrakte von Erdölfraktionen; vorzugsweise werden flüssige Kohlenwasserstoffe,namentlich Mineralschmierölrohfraktionen,benutzt.
- Im wesentlichen können Paraffinkohlenwasserstoffe, wie Schmierölrückstände, Schmieröldestillate, Vaseline oder Paraffinwachse, verwendet werden, ferner Produkte, die durch Kondensation eines der genannten Kohlenwasserstoffe, gewöhnlich nach einer ersten Halogenierung des Kohlenwasserstoffes, mit aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen in Gegenwart wasserfreier anorganischer Halogenide, wie Aluminiumchlorid, Zinkchlorid oder Borfluorid, erhalten wurden.
- Als Beispiele von Monoolefinen seien genannt: Isobutylen, Decen, Dodecen, Ceten (Cl,), Octadecen (C18), Ceroten (C26), Melen (C3o), Olefinextrakte aus Benzin oder Benzin salbst, Kreislauföle aus Spaltverfahren und deren Polymere, sogenannte Harzöle aus Rohöl, Kohlenwasserstoffkohleharze, Spaltwachse, dehydrohalogenierte chlorierte Wachse und beliebige Mischungen hochmolekularer Alkene, die beim Spalten von Erdölen anfallen. Vorzugsweise benutzt man Olefine mit wenigstens 20 Kohlenstoffatomen im Molekül, in denen vorteilhaft etwa 12 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatome, vorzugsweise wenigstens 15 Kohlenstoffatome, eine Kette bilden. Diese Olefine entstehen bei der Dehydrierung von Paraffinwachsen, Dehydrohalogenierung von Halogenalkylen mit langer Kette, Synthese von Kohlenwasserstoffen aus C 0 und H2, durch Dehydration von Alkoholen usw.
- Weiterhin sind zu nennen: Monoolefinpolymere mit einem Molekulargewicht von 100 bis 50000, vorzugsweise etwa 250 bis 10000. Diese Produkte entstehen durch PolymerisationniedrigmolekularerMonoolefinewieÄthylen Propylen, Butylen, Isobutylen, Normal- und Isoamylenen, Hexenen bzw. Mischpolymerisation mehrerer Monoolefine.
- Auch Diolefine kommen in Betracht, z. B. Butadien, Isopren, Chloropren, Cyclopentadien, 2,3-Dimethylbutadien, Pentadien-1,3, Hexadien-2,4, Terpene, Acetylen und substituierte Acetylene.
- Eine weitere Gruppe ungesättigter Kohlenwasserstoffe für die Herstellung von Zusatzstoffen gemäß Erfindung sind hochmolekulare 'l#Eschpolymerisate von niedrigmolekularen Monoolefinen und Diolefinen. Das Mischpolymerisat wird durch gesteuerte Polymerisation eines niedrigmolekularen Olefins und eines nichtaromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffes von der Formel C"H2"_x gewonnen, in der x = 2 oder ein Vielfaches von 2 bedeutet, in Gegenwart eines Katalysators nach Friedel-Crafts oder eines Peroxyds. Als niedrigmolekulare Olefine wählt man vorzugsweise ein Isoolefin oder ein tert. Olefin, vorteilhaft mit weniger als 7 Kohlenstoffatomen im Molekül. Vertreter dieser Gruppe sind Isobutylen, 2-Methylbuten-1, 2-Äthyl-buten-1, sec. und tert. Amylene, Hexylene. Beispiele nichtaromatischer Kohlenwasserstoffe, die der genannten Formel entsprechen, sind Diolefine mit konjugierter Doppelbindung, wie sie im vorigen Absatz genannt sind, Diolefine wie 1,4-Hexadien mit nichtkonjugierten Doppelbindungen, ferner Acetylene. Die Mischpolymerisation wird vornehmlich im Beisein von Aluminiumchlorid, Borfluorid oder Benzoylperoxyd durchgeführt. Das Mischpolymerisat hat vorteilhaft ein Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 bis 30000.
- Außerdem sind zu erwähnen aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Benzol, Naphthalin, Anthrazen, Toluol, Xylol, Diphenyl sowie aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe mit Alkylsubstituenten und aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe mit Arylsubstituenten.
- Eine weitere Klasse von Kohlenwasserstoffen, die für die Umsetzung mit Phosphorsulfiden in Betracht kommen, sind Kondensationsprodukte halogenierter aliphatischer Kohlenwasserstoffe mit aromatischen Verbindungen nach der Friedel-Craftsschen Synthese in Gegenwart von Aluminiumchlorid oder ähnlichen Katalysatoren. Als halogenierter aliphatischer Kohlenwasserstoff dient vorzugsweise ein langkettiges Halogenparaffin mit mehr als 8 Kohlenstoffatomen, wie Paraffinwachs, Petrolatum, Ozokerit. Hochviskose Paraffinöle, insbesondere schweres Rückstandsöl, das zur Entasphaltierung mit Chemikalien behandelt oder mit Propan oder anderen Lösungsmitteln extrahiert worden ist, sind brauchbar. Die aromatische Komponente bildet Naphthalin, Fluoren, Phenanthren, Anthracen oder Kohlenteerrückstände.
- Eine andere Kohlenwasserstoffklasse umfaßt harzähnliche Öle mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 bis 2000 oder höher, die vorzugsweise aus einem Paraffinöl erhalten werden, das entwachst und dann mit einem flüssigen normal gasförmigen Kohlenwasserstoff, z. B. Propan, zur Ausfällung einer schweren propanunlöslichen Fraktion behandelt ist. Diese ist im wesentlichen wachs-und asphaltfrei und hat eine Sayboltviskosität von etwa 1000 bis 4000 Sekunden oder mehr bei 98,89°C.
- Die Reaktion zwischen dem Schwefelungsmittel und den zu behandelnden Kohlenwasserstoffen wird vorzugsweise bei einer Temperatur zwischen etwa 90 und 315°C, vorzugsweise zwischen etwa 150 und 290°C, unter Verwendung von 1 bis 10, vorzugsweise 2 bis 5 Mol Kohlenwasserstoffe je Mo1 Schwefelungsmittel durchgeführt. Vorteilhaft hält man eine nichtoxydierende Atmosphäre z. B. von Stickstoff über dem Reaktionsgemisch aufrecht. Gewöhnlichverwendetman eine Schwefelungsmittelmenge, die vollständig mit dem Kohlenwasserstoff reagiert, so daß keine weitere Reinigung notwendig wird. Im Falle der Behandlung von Monoolefinpolymeren mit Phosphorsulfiden ist das bevorzugte Verhältnis 1 Mol Phosphorsulfid auf 2 bis 5 Mol Polymere. In diesem Falle wird die Reaktion fortgeführt, bis alles oder im wesentlichen alles Phosphorsulfid reagiert hat. Die Reaktionszeit ist nicht entscheidend; der zur Umsetzung der Höchstmenge des Schwefelungsmittels erforderliche Zeitraum richtet sich nach der Temperatur. Häufig beträgt die Reaktionsdauer 2 bis 10 Stunden oder mehr.
- Im allgemeinen soll die Behandlung unter solchen Bedingungen durchgeführt werden, daß das Reaktionsgut einen Phosphorgehalt über 2 °/a und einen Schwefelgehalt über 5 °/o besitzt. Phosphor- und Schwefelgehalte von 5 und 12 % sind zulässig, vorausgesetzt, daß das Material in dem Grundöl, in dem es verwendet wird, nicht unlöslich wird. Im Bedarfsfall wird das Reaktionsprodukt durch Blasen mit Dampf, Alkohol, Ammoniak oder einem Amin bei etwa 90 bis 315°C zur Verbesserung des Geruches weiterbehandelt.
- Das Produkt, das durch Umsetzung von Kohlenwasserstoffen mit einem Schwefelungsmittel nach dem beschriebenen Verfahren erhalten ist, wird dann mit einem ungesättigten Kohlenwasserstoff umgesetzt, indem man beide Stoffe bei Raumtemperatur zusammenbringt, bei etwas erhöhter Temperatur, im allgemeinen in 1/z bis 20 Stunden. Temperaturen von etwa 15 bis 225°C unter Verwendung von etwa 0,1 bis 50, vorzugsweise etwa 5 bis 20 Gewichtsprozent ungesättigter Kohlenwasserstoffe, berechnet auf die Menge des geschwefelten Produktes, werden im allgemeinen verwendet.
- Die Reaktion wird vorzugsweise über 1 bis 10 Stunden fortgesetzt. Das nicht umgesetzte Olefin wird aus dem Endprodukt durch Destillation entfernt. Unter Umständen ist es wünschenswert, das Olefin oder andere ungesättigte Kohlenwasserstoffe im Überschuß zu verwenden und darauf genügend Schwefel zuzusetzen, um ein noch wirksameres Zusatzmittel herzustellen. Diese letzte Stufe kann auch durch Zusatz von Stoffen, wie sie bei der Vulkanisierung von Kautschuk üblich sind, z. B. von Tuads, Captax, Tellurac, Selenao, Guanidin oder substituierten Guanidinen, wirksamer gemacht werden.
- Beispiele ungesättigter Kohlenwasserstoffe, die gemäß Erfindung mit dem geschwefelten Produkt umgesetzt werden, sind ahphatische, cycloaliphatische, terpenische oder aliphatisch-aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, die wenigstens eine Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoff-Doppelbindung in einer nichtaromatischen Gruppe enthalten. Die Stoffe sind vorzugsweise nichtacetylenischer Natur und umfassen die Olefine, z. B. Propylene, Butylene, Diisobutylene, Triisobutylene, das Mischdimere von Isobutylen und n-Butylen, weiter Spaltbenzinfraktionen, gespaltene Paraffinwachse, viskose Olefinpolymere, z. B. mittel- oder hochmolekulare Polybutene, Cyclopenten, Cyclohexen, Butadien, Pentadien, Isopren, Dipenten, a-Pinen, ß-Pinen, Terpinolen, 42,4(8)-p-Menthadien, Styrol und andere aliphatische, cycloaliphatische und terpenische Monoolefine und Diolefine. Derivate der oben beschriebenen Verbindungen mit zahlreichen nichtreaktionsfähigen Substituentengruppen und Atomen wie Nitrogruppen, Halogenatomen usw. können mit Vorteil verwendet werden, da diese die Reaktion nicht stören. Kohlenwasserstoffe mit 2 bis 30 Kohlenstoffatomen im Molekül können im allgemeinen verwendet werden.
- Da die Zusatzstoffe nach vorliegender Erfindung im allgemeinen in Mineralölen gelöst werden müssen, werden die Öle, die mit dem Schwefelungsmittelumgesetzt werden, und die olefinischen Stoffe, die weiter mit dem so erhaltenen Produkt zur Reaktion gebracht werden, derart ausgewählt, daß sie ein Produkt ergeben, welches in dem Grundöl löslich ist oder eine solche Grenzlöslichkeit besitzt, daß es mit hochmolekularen Alkoholen, Estern oder anderen Weichmachern weichgemacht werden kann.
- Wenn Zusatzstoffe nach der vorliegenden Erfindung für Mineralschmieröle verwendet werden, werden sie vorzugsweise in Mengen von etwa 0,001 bis zu 20 °/o zugefügt. Vorzugsweise können 1,0 bis etwa 6 °/o als Reinigungsmittel verwendet werden, während für Kraftwagenhypoidgetriebe im allgemeinen Konzentrationen von 5 bis 20 °/o, vorzugsweise von 8 bis 12 °/o verwendet werden. Die Mengen, welche die besten Ergebnisse zeitigten, schwanken etwas, je nach der Natur des Zusatzstoffes und dem speziellen Zweck, dem das Schmiermittel in einem gegebenen Fall dienen soll. Für technische Zwecke ist es vorteilhaft, konzentrierte Öllösungen, in denen die :Menge des Zusatzstoffes etwa 20 bis 50 Gewichtsprozent beträgt, herzustellen und sie in dieser Form zu transportieren und zu lagern. Bei der Herstellung eines Schmieröles für Kurbelgehäuse wird das Zusatzstoffkonzentrat einfach mit dem Grundöl in der erforderlichen Menge vermischt.
- Es kommt vor, daß der Zusatzstoff wohl das Reinigungsvermögen des Öles erhöht, aber weniger das Antioxydationsvermögen. In solchen Fällen setzt man dem Schmiermittel, neben den Zusatzstoffen gemäß Erfindung, eine schwefel- und bzw. oder phosphorhaltige Substanz zu, z. B. elementaren Schwefel oder eine organische Schwefelverbindung, namentlich eine solche, die unter Entwicklung von freiem Schwefel bei einer Temperatur zersetzt wird, die der Betriebstemperatur des Schmieröles entspricht. Als Beispiele seien genannt: sulfurierte Mineralöle, Terpene, Olefine, Diolefine, Tier- und Pflanzenöle, Isobutylenpolymere.
- Die folgenden Beispiele erläutern die Herstellung von Schmierölzusatzstoffen sowie Untersuchungen an Zusatzstoffe enthaltenden Ölen.
- Beispiel 1 19,3 kg helles (Bright stock) Schmieröl einer Viskosität von 150 Sekunden (Saybolt) bei 99°C wurden mit 10 g Benzoylperoxyd und 1,93 kg P, S, behandelt. Das Gemisch wurde unter einer Stickstoffatmosphäre bei 177 bis 188'C 3 Stunden gerührt und filtriert. 250 g des erhaltenen Produktes und 25 g Diisobutylen wurden stark gerührt und 2 Stunden auf 116 bis 127°C erhitzt, wobei Stickstoff durch das Reaktionsgemisch perlte. Die Temperatur wurde für 2 Stunden auf etwa 204°C erhöht und der fertige Zusatzstoff durch Filtration erhalten.
- Beispiel 2 Es wurde ein Produkt unter Verwendung der gleichen Reaktionsbedingungen und der gleichen Stoffe wie im Beispiel 1 hergestellt, mit der Ausnahme, daß technisches Dipenten*) an Stelle von Diisobutylen in der zweiten Verfahrensstufe verwendet wurde.
- *) Das verwendete technische Dipenten hatte folgende Zusammensetzung: Dipenten 31 °; o, Terpinolen 39 0/0, a-Pinen 6 0/0, a-Terpineol 7 °/o, .1 2,4(8) -p-Menthadien 5 %, p-Cymol 10 0/0, Rückstand 2 0A1-Beispiel 3 Es wurde ein Produkt hergestellt, indem man einen Teil des hellen Schmieröles (Bright stock) des Beispieles 1 mit etwa 17 Gewichtsprozent P,Sfi, bezogen auf das Öl, in einer Stickstoffatmosphäre 10 Stunden bei 204 bis 219'C umsetzte. Nach dem Filtrieren wurde das Produkt mit 20 Gewichtsprozent technischem Dipenten, bezogen auf das Produkt, 1 Stunde bei 193°C behandelt. Das anfallende Produkt enthielt etwa 3,3 Gewichtsprozent Phosphor und etwa 6,7 Gewichtsprozent Schwefel.
- Beispiel 4 Lauson Maschinenprobe Die nach den Beispielen 1 und 2 hergestellten Produkte und ein Muster des unbehandelten P,Sb hellen-(Bright stock)-Schmieröl-Reaktionsproduktes wurden in einer Konzentration von 40/, in ein Grundschmieröl eingemischt, das aus einem naphthenischen Coastal-Öl mit einer Viskosität von 60 Sekunden (Saybolt) bei 99'C bestand, das mit einem Lösungsmittel extrahiert worden war. Die Gemische wurden einem Standard-Lauson-Maschinen-Test unterworfen, der so durchgeführt wurde, daß die Lauson-Maschine bei 1800 Umdrehungen je Minute 20 Stunden bei einer Belastung von 1,5 indizierten Kilowatt, 149°C Öltemperatur und 146°C Wassermanteltemperatur betrieben wurde. Ein ähnlicher Versuch wurde mit dem unvermischten Grundöl durchgeführt. Die Öle wurden nach einem Entwertungssystem bewertet, wobei ein Öl, das eine vollständig saubere Kolbenfläche gibt, mit Null bewertet wird, während ein Öl, das den schlechtesten Zustand hervorruft, der an der Fläche erwartet werden konnte, mit Zehn bewertet wird. Der Gewichtsverlust des Kupfer-Blei-Lagers wurde ebenfalls bestimmt. Die Ergebnisse sind unten in der Tabelle I wiedergegeben. Tabelle I

Die in dieser Weise behandelten Stoffe wurden zugleich mit Mustern der unbehandelten Stoffe auf die Entwicklung von Schwefelwasserstoff beim Lagern bei Raumtemperatur geprüft. Schwefelwasserstoffgeruch ist im allgemeinen unterhalb der Bewertung r7,c nicht bemerkbar. - Die Erzeugnisse der Erfindung können nicht nur für gewöhnliche Schmieröle, sondern auch für solche mit extrem hoher Beanspruchung verwendet werden, die mit Reinigungszusätzen wie Metallseifen, Metallpetroleumsulfonaten, Metallphenolaten, Metallalkoholaten, Metallalkylphenolsulfiden, organischen Metallphosphaten, Phosphiten, Thiophosphaten, Thiophosphiten, Metallxanthaten, Metallthioxanthaten oder Metallthiocarbamaten versetzt sind. Auch andere Arten von Zusatzstoffen wie Phenole und Phenolsulfide können benutzt werden. Das als Grundöl verwendete Schmieröl kann aus Destillationsmineralschmierölen oder Destillaten von paraffinischen, naphthenischen, asphaltischen oder gemischtbasischen Rohölen, aus verschiedenen Ölgemischen sowie aus Rückstandsölen, insbesondere, solchen aus denen asphaltische Bestandteile sorgsam entfernt wurden, bestehen. Hydrierte Öle oder Weißöle können ebenso verwendet werden wie synthetische Öle, die z. B. durch Polymerisation von Olefinen oder durch Umsetzung von Oxyden des Kohlenstoffes mit Wasserstoff oder durch Hydrierung von Kohle oder deren Produkten erhalten wurden. In gewissen Fällen können auch Teerfraktionen aus Spaltschlangen sowie Steinkohlenteer- oder Schieferöldestillate, für besondere Zwecke auch Tier-, Pflanzen-oder Fischöle bzw. deren hydrierte oder voltolisierte Produkte im Gemisch mit Mineralölen verwendet werden.
- Für die besten Ergebnisse sollte das ausgewählte Grundöl ein 0l_ sein, das ohne den neuen Zusatzstoff die optimale Leistung bei dem geforderten Gebrauch liefert. Da jedoch ein Vorteil der Zusatzstoffe der ist, daß sie die Verwendung weniger brauchbarer Mineralöle zulassen, können keine festen Regeln für die Auswahl des Grundöles gegeben werden. Die Zusatzstoffe sind normalerweise in dem Grundöl hinreichend löslich, aber in einigen Fällen können auch Hilfslösungsmittel verwendet werden. Die Viskosität der Schmieröle liegt im allgemeinen bei etwa 40 bis 150 Sekunden Saybolt bei 99°C, der Viskositätsindex bei 0 bis 100 oder höher.
- Außer den genannten können noch andere an sich bekannte Stoffe in der Ölvermischung vorhanden sein, z. B. Mittel zur Herabsetzung des Stockpunktes, Schlammdispergiermittel, Antioxydantien,Verdickungsmittel, Mittel zur Verbesserung des Viskositätsindex, Mittel zur Verbesserung der Schmierfähigkeit, fette Öle, sulfurierte fette Öle, Harze, Kautschuk, Olefinpolymere.
- Außer der Verwendung in Schmiermitteln können die Zusatzstoffe nach der vorliegenden Erfindung auch in anderen Mineralölprodukten, wie Motortreibmitteln, hydraulischen Flüssigkeiten, Drehwandlungsflüssigkeiten, Schneidölen, Flush-Ölen, Turbinenölen, Transformatorenölen, technischen Ölen, Verfahrensölen, und allgemein als Antioxydationsmittel und Reinigungsmittel in Mineralölprodukten, Schmierfetten und anderen Produkten, die Mineralöle enthalten, benutzt werden.
- Da die Reaktionsprodukte nach der Erfindung stark oberflächenaktiv sind, finden sie praktische Verwendung in Reinigungsflüssigkeiten, Schwerbenzin- und Wasserfarben, als Flotationsmittel, als Dispergiermittel für Insektizide in wäßrigen und nichtwäßrigen Lösungen, als Zusatzstoffe für natürlichen und künstlichen Kautschuk, als Rußverteilungsmittel und als Vulkanisationsbeschleuniger. Die Produkte nach der Erfindung können auch als Dispergiermittel und als Antioxydationsmittel für Metalle in kolloides Eisen enthaltenden elektromagnetischen Kupplungen verwendet werden. Sie sind nützliche Dispergiermittel für Druckfarben, Asphalte, Linoleum, Massen für Bedachungen, Bohrschlämme, Metallreiniger und Sortierlösungen und ganz allgemein technische Verteilungshilfsmittel.
Claims (5)
- PATENTANSPR0CHE: 1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Zusatzstoffen für Mineralöle, wie Schmieröle, durch Behandlung von Paraffinen, Olefinen, Olefinpolymeren, Diolefinen, Acetylenen, Aromaten, Alkylaromaten, cyclischen Aliphaten, Erdölfraktionen wie Schmierölfraktionen, Petrolatumwachs, Kreislaufölen aus Spaltverfahren oder Kondensationsprodukten von Erdölfraktionen mit einem Schwefelungsmittel, vorzugsweise elementarem Schwefel oder einem Phosphorsulfid, bei erhöhter Temperatur wie 90 bis 315°C, vorzugsweise 150 bis 288°C, unter Bildung eines geschwefelten Produktes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daB dieses mit einem Kohlenwasserstoff, der mindestens eine Olefindoppelbindung in einer nichtaromatischen Gruppe enthält, umgesetzt wird.
- 2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daB als Kohlenwasserstoff mit der Olefinbindung, der mit den geschwefelten Kohlenwasserstoffen umgesetzt wird, ein aliphatischer, cycloaliphatischer, terpenischer oder aliphatisch-aromatischer Kohlenwasserstoff mit wenigstens einer Olefinbindung in einer nichtaromatischen Gruppe verwendet wird.
- 3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daB die Reaktion bei Raumtemperatur oder höher, vorzugsweise bei etwa 15 bis 204°C, durchgeführt wird.
- 4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daB die Reaktion i/4 bis 20 Stunden fortgesetzt wird.
- 5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daB die Menge der verwendeten ungesättigten Kohlenwasserstoffe 0,1 bis 50 Gewichtsprozent, vorzugsweise 5 bis 20 Gewichtsprozent, der geschwefelten Verbindung beträgt.
