Endet die Außendämmung am Fundament, so kann noch ein Streifen eines Wärmedämmmaterials auf die Außenseite des Fundaments aufgesetzt werden. Die Außendämmung kann jedoch auch soweit über die äußere Betonplatte nach unten vorstehen, dass sie auch das Fundament überdeckt.
