Definitions
- the present invention relates to a movement absorption profile for attachment to a joint formed between two components.
- the joint can in particular be an expansion joint which, in order to avoid stress cracks, creates a way to compensate for the material-dependent expansion or contraction of the respective components, which is unavoidable due to thermal influences.
- Such joints are particularly needed in connection with building openings, such as doors or windows. In these areas there is the additional difficulty that different materials are adjacent to each other, the thermal behavior of which is different due to their different coefficients of thermal expansion.
- a motion recording profile with the features of the preamble of claim 1 is out US 5,799,456 A known. Another motion recording profile, some of whose elements are magnetically coupled to one another, is shown, for example, in CN 201 539 022 U disclosed. Furthermore, in US 2009/0211191 A1 describes that a cover plate can be covered with materials such as carpet, fabric, tile, wood or combinations thereof to conform to adjacent surfaces.
- a corresponding cover can be provided or attached in particular to profiles that may already be in the area for other purposes be attached to the joint.
- Plaster profiles or facade profiles, for example, can be considered as building profiles.
- Expansion joint profiles can be designed specifically for arrangement at an expansion joint.
- reveal connection profiles in particular are often arranged in the area of a joint. In principle, any profile that can be used to cover a joint in addition to another function can be considered.
- a difficulty in covering arises particularly if the joint is an expansion joint or the joint changes its width for other reasons.
- the relative movement of the two components forming the joint must then be able to be absorbed by the profile.
- the profile itself must therefore have a certain flexibility or allow movement in some other way.
- the movement recording profile is designed to be attached to a joint formed between two components.
- this can be any type of building profile that allows movement to be absorbed.
- it can be an expansion joint profile or a reveal connection profile.
- the movement recording profile comprises a first profile strip, which is designed for attachment to one of the two components, and a second profile strip, which is designed to attach to the other of the two components.
- the profile strips can be designed specifically for attachment to a respective component Structures such as contact surfaces and edges as well as openings for fasteners such as screws, nails, staples and the like as well as for plaster.
- the movement recording profile further comprises a central region which connects the profile strips to one another and is flexible in such a way that the profile strips can be moved relative to one another.
- the central region or at least a profile section of the central region is preferably designed to be arranged in the joint.
- the middle region preferably connects the two profile strips to one another in that it is connected to both the first and the second profile strip, preferably mechanically and in particular firmly.
- connection does not simply mean a contact between two connected elements with one another, but rather a cohesion, which can, for example, be positive, non-positive or materially bonded and is preferably permanent.
- the central area is flexible means in particular that it can be significantly and reversibly deformed by forces such as those that occur during the expected movements of the components, without being damaged as a result.
- This deformability can also be elastic, which can be useful, for example, with regard to sealing the joint.
- the flexibility of the central region connecting the two profile strips enables the profile strips to move relative to one another, at least to a limited extent. It is expedient if the central region allows at least such relative movements of the profile strips as occur in particular due to thermal expansion between the components on which the movement recording profile is arranged.
- the relative movements to be permitted are therefore primarily translations and possibly also torsions to a certain extent, but at least as a rule not rotations.
- the movement recording profile includes a cover strip for covering the central region and thus in particular also for covering the joint into which the central region can advantageously be inserted. It is preferred if the cover strip is arranged in such a way that it covers the central region essentially completely, regardless of the relative position in which the two profile strips are currently located within the scope of their mobility, especially with respect to a viewing direction from the outside that is parallel to the joint into the joint.
- the first and second profile strips and the cover strip in particular have an elongated structure with an at least essentially constant cross section.
- the strips can extend over a length of a few meters, e.g. 2 m, and can be cut to length to adapt to a desired length or extended by lining up several profiles.
- the cover strip is coupled or at least can be coupled to the first profile strip and to the second profile strip, and it can depend in particular on a respective position of the cover strip as to whether the coupling is currently present or not.
- a possible mobility of the cover strip between different positions will be explained below.
- the movement recording profile is designed so that the cover strip can not only be coupled to at least one of the two profile strips in normal use, but is always coupled.
- the respective coupling serves in particular to hold the cover strip stably on the profile strip or strips, and can be mechanical, for example.
- At least the coupling of the cover strip to the second profile strip is a magnetic coupling.
- the cover strip and the second profile strip are designed to to be magnetically coupled to one another, although this coupling does not necessarily have to be permanent.
- the advantage of a magnetic coupling is, in particular, that it can offer a hold comparable to a mechanical coupling and at the same time is easily reversible, in particular can be released and closed again several times with essentially no wear.
- the magnetic coupling in particular in the direction transverse to the direction of effective attraction of the magnetic elements involved, can allow a, in particular sliding, movement of the coupled elements.
- the magnetic coupling can be maintained up to a certain extent of movement. Therefore, the fact that the cover strip is magnetically coupled or can be coupled to the second profile strip makes it possible for the cover strip and the second profile strip to move relative to one another in a corresponding manner to compensate for relative movements of the components forming the joint, without the coupling being separated as a result . In this way, the cover strip can be coupled to both profile strips and always be arranged to cover the central area, although the two profile strips also move relative to one another due to relative movements of the components.
- the coupling (permanent coupling or ability to be coupled) of the cover strip with the first profile strip can also be magnetic.
- the cover strip can also be held purely magnetically on the two profile strips and rest, so to speak, in a "floating" magnetic manner on the profile strips that are movable relative to one another.
- the cover strip is mechanically coupled to the first profile strip, for example mechanically articulated on the first profile strip or otherwise mechanically firmly connected to the first profile strip.
- the cover strip can be connected to the first profile strip can also be designed in one piece, with the cover strip then preferably being formed by that section of this one-piece element which extends over the joint and in particular covers the central area to the outside. In this way, at least a large part of the joint can advantageously not only be covered, but preferably also plastered over.
- the cover strip and the second profile strip can each have a magnetic element, so that the cover strip is magnetically coupled or can be coupled to the second profile strip through the magnetic interaction of the two magnetic elements.
- the magnetic element of the second profile strip is, for example, a magnetic strip, ie a permanent magnet in strip form, the magnetic strip preferably extending over the entire longitudinal extent of the profile strip.
- a magnetic strip ie a permanent magnet in strip form
- several separate, preferably flat, permanent magnets can also be arranged over the longitudinal extent of the profile strip, in particular regularly distributed.
- the magnetic element of the cover strip is, for example, a sheet steel strip or a strip of another magnetizable, i.e.
- ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic, material which preferably extends over the entire longitudinal extent of the cover strip.
- a magnetizable strip a magnetizable film can also be provided.
- the arrangement can also be reversed, so that the cover strip has the permanent magnetic magnetic element and the second profile strip has an at least magnetizable one Has magnetic element.
- a permanent magnetic magnetic element can also be provided on both the cover strip and the second profile strip.
- the respective magnetic element can also be integrated into the second profile strip and/or the cover strip.
- the cover strip can be formed from a material that is itself magnetizable.
- the cover strip can comprise a hybrid material made of a plastic and magnetizable metal components. If the second profile strip then has a permanent magnet as a magnetic element, this can directly attract the cover strip for the magnetic coupling.
- the casing can comprise, for example, a plastic as a material. In this way, corrosion protection for the magnetic elements can be achieved.
- the casing can in principle also be in the form of a coating, in particular a plastic coating.
- the casing can be designed as a sleeve, for example an elongated sleeve, in which the respective magnetic element is accommodated, for example inserted.
- the magnetic element of the second profile strip is arranged on an extension of the second profile strip that projects beyond the central region.
- the cover strip can be supported more centrally and therefore more stably than if the magnetic coupling takes place to the side of the central area.
- the magnetic coupling between the cover strip and the second profile strip is such that the cover strip, when magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, is movable relative to the second profile strip while maintaining the magnetic coupling.
- the cover strip can be moved at least to a limited extent without the magnetic coupling being separated.
- This can be achieved in particular by providing the magnetic coupling aligned in a suitable manner relative to a relative mobility of the two profile strips permitted by the flexible central region, so that the second profile strip is not only relative to the first profile strip, but also in a corresponding manner can move, in particular slide, relative to the cover strips and thereby remain magnetically coupled to the cover strip.
- the movement recording profile can have a longitudinal extent which corresponds in particular to the respective longitudinal extents of the two profile strips and the cover strip, the movement recording profile being designed to be attached to the joint with the longitudinal extension aligned parallel to the joint.
- the cover strip when magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, rests on the second profile strip along an interface which is aligned parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement recording profile.
- the cover strip does not have to lie directly on the second profile strip.
- the aforementioned magnetic elements of the cover strip and the second profile strip are preferably in direct contact with one another when the cover strip is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip.
- the cover strip and the profile strip can advantageously be displaced relative to one another along the said interface, in particular slide along one another.
- the arrangement mentioned with the alignment of the interface parallel to the longitudinal extent enables displacements of the second profile strip relative to the first profile strip and relative to the cover strip in the direction of the longitudinal extension.
- Such an embodiment is therefore particularly useful if relative movements of the two components forming the joint are to be expected in the direction parallel to the joint.
- At least one of the profile strips has a contact surface which is designed to rest against one of the two components when the profile strip is attached to the component, wherein the cover strip, when magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, runs along a Interface rests on the second profile strip, which is aligned parallel to this contact surface.
- the respective profile strip lies against the respective component, particularly outside the joint.
- Both profile strips preferably each have such a contact surface, these contact surfaces preferably being aligned parallel to one another, in particular lying in one plane, so that the said boundary surface is then parallel to both contact surfaces.
- the interface is aligned both parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement-absorbing profile and parallel to the contact surface or surfaces of the profile strips.
- a surface of the first profile strip, a surface of the second profile strip and a surface of the cover strip are designed to be plastered.
- the respective surfaces are preferably provided on a side of the respective strip that faces away from the respective components when the movement recording profile is mounted.
- the respective surface of a profile strip can be opposite to a respective contact surface
- This profile strip can be arranged with which the profile strip rests on the component in the assembled state.
- the respective surfaces in particular have an appropriately designed structure that offers good adhesion for plaster.
- the surface of the cover strip can be provided with a plaster carrier tape, for example glued or coated.
- a pull-off edge for plastering can be formed on the cover strip, in particular at its end pointing in the direction of the second profile strip or on both sides.
- first profile strip and the second profile strip are not only connected to one another indirectly via the magnetic coupling of the cover strip to the second profile strip and through the central region, but are coupled or can be coupled to one another in a further way, in particular directly , whereby this further coupling is preferably magnetic.
- the two profile strips can be magnetically coupled in a similar or corresponding manner, as described above for the magnetic coupling of the cover strip with the second profile strip using various embodiments.
- one of the two profile strips can have a magnetic element, in particular a magnetic strip, and the other can have a magnetic element, in particular a sheet steel strip, through whose magnetic interaction with one another the two profile strips are magnetically coupled or can be coupled.
- the magnetic elements can each be encased, for example to protect against corrosion, in particular with a plastic.
- An interface between the profile strips, across which the magnetic coupling of the two profile strips to one another takes place, is preferably aligned parallel to a longitudinal extent of the movement-receiving profile and/or parallel to one or more contact surfaces of the profile strips. Furthermore, it is preferred if the two profile strips can be displaced relative to one another along the interface, in particular can slide along one another.
- the cover strip is movable between a covering position in which it is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip and covers the central region, and an open position in which it is decoupled from the second profile strip so that the central region is at least partially accessible .
- the cover strip preferably retains this mobility even when the movement recording profile is installed.
- the cover strip can, for example, be mounted in an articulated or pivotable manner on the first profile strip.
- the cover strip itself can be deformable, in particular bendable, foldable or foldable in a preferably defined manner.
- the central area can be completely revealed, for example if the cover strip can be opened by 90° or more.
- the open position differs from the covering position by a significantly smaller angle, for example approximately 30° or less.
- the middle area can still be sufficiently accessible between the cover strip and the second profile strip, for example to be able to remove foreign bodies that have penetrated into the joint or the middle area, to carry out inspection measures or to be able to lay cables in the joint.
- the cover strip has a longitudinal groove, in particular V-shaped in cross section, and can be bent, folded or folded in the circumferential direction around a valley area of the longitudinal groove, in particular around the apex of the V-shape, between the covering position and the open position. Overlays of these movement options are also conceivable.
- the cross section is preferably essentially constant over the entire longitudinal extent of the cover strip.
- One of the two or both upper edges of the longitudinal groove, through which the longitudinal groove is laterally limited can protrude over the surface of the cover strip and thereby form pull-off edges or at least boundaries for plastering the movement recording profile.
- the surface of the cover strip between the longitudinal groove and the end of the cover strip pointing in the direction of the second profile strip has a pull-off edge on both sides for plastering.
- the cover strip By bending, folding and/or folding, the cover strip can be moved in particular between the covering position and the open position. Since these movements take place around the valley area of the longitudinal groove, the longitudinal groove is narrowed in each case. In this way, the longitudinal groove can in particular provide the space required for moving from the covering position to the open position in a defined manner. This is particularly important if the movement recording profile including the cover strip is to be plastered, in which case essentially only the longitudinal groove has to remain free of plaster, but the entire remaining profile can be plastered. If, on the other hand, the cover strip were mounted in an articulated manner on the first profile strip or were simply bent open without the longitudinal groove being provided, the plaster provided there could tear or at least be loosened and damaged. This is prevented by the provision of the longitudinal groove. In this way, for example, a wall with an expansion joint to which the movement absorption profile is attached can be plastered almost continuously, with only the exception of a narrow gap defined by the longitudinal joint, so that the desired impression of a substantially seamless surface results.
- the movement-receiving profile comprises a wedge element which is designed to be inserted into the longitudinal groove in order to prevent plaster from penetrating into the longitudinal groove when the movement-receiving profile is plastered.
- the cover strip can also be blocked in the covering position, at least for installation, by means of the wedge element inserted into the longitudinal groove.
- the wedge element preferably comprises a section which corresponds to the cross section of the longitudinal groove Cross-section, so that the longitudinal groove is at least substantially completely filled by the inserted wedge element.
- holding means can be provided, for example on the upper edges of the longitudinal groove and/or at corresponding points on the wedge element itself, in order to secure the inserted wedge element in the longitudinal groove against unintentional falling out.
- These can be, for example, constrictions made of soft PVC, which extend on both sides of the longitudinal groove along a line in the longitudinal direction and hold the inserted wedge element in a frictional manner.
- the holding means are preferably designed in such a way that they cancel out the gravitational forces acting on the wedge element, but can be overcome by hand so that the wedge element can be easily removed from the longitudinal groove after the movement recording profile has been plastered.
- an extension can be formed on the wedge element, on which the wedge element can be pulled out of the longitudinal groove.
- the central region has a profile section made of a flexible material, in particular comprising soft PCV, which is bent in the circumferential direction around its longitudinal extent so that it has a U-shape in cross section.
- the cross section is preferably at least essentially constant over the entire longitudinal extent of the movement recording profile. If the central region, in particular the said profile section of the central region, is inserted into the joint between the components to which the movement receiving profile is attached, the cross section of the profile section can also be deformed as a result of being inserted into the joint, preferably being at least substantially one Maintains U shape.
- the U-shape is in particular aligned in such a way that its legs rest on a different one of the two profile strips or directly on a different one of the two components forming the joint and the open side of the U-shape faces the cover strip by which it is covered . In this way the interior can the U-shape can be accessible from the outside, in particular by moving the cover strip into the open position mentioned.
- the central region with a coupling section protrudes in the direction of a longitudinal extent of the movement recording profile over the profile strips and the cover strip and is designed to be coupled to the central region of a similar further movement recording profile arranged adjacent to the movement recording profile.
- the movement absorption profile is mounted in particular with its longitudinal extent parallel to the joint.
- the coupling section can then protrude within the joint over the remaining movement absorption profile in order to cooperate with a further movement absorption profile adjacent in the direction of the longitudinal extent.
- the central region can have a respective coupling section on both sides.
- a coupling section is preferably only provided on one side.
- the coupling of the two movement recording profiles adjoining one another in the longitudinal direction can then take place in particular by inserting the coupling section of the central region of one movement recording profile into an interior region of the central region, in particular an interior of a U-shape of a profile section of the central region, of the other movement recording profile.
- a continuous channel can be created across several movement recording profiles, which extends through the central region of the movement recording profiles.
- the movement recording profiles are preferably attached in such a way that the coupling section projects downwards and can therefore be inserted from above into the central region of the movement recording profile arranged underneath. In this way, moisture, which may flow through the channel formed in this way does not exit at the seams, but is reliably guided into the next lower movement recording profile.
- the coupling section has a U-shape in cross section, the legs of which shorten as the distance from the rest of the movement recording profile increases.
- the radius of the U-shape can be reduced, so that the coupling section tapers like a cone.
- the coupling section with the shortening legs can also simply be bent into a corresponding cone-like tapering shape. Due to the cone-like tapering shape of the coupling section, it can then be inserted into the U-shape of the profile section of the central region of the next similar movement recording profile.
- Movement recording profile 11 shown which is not part of the claimed invention, comprises a first profile strip 13, a second profile strip 15, a flexible central region 17 and a cover strip 19.
- the movement recording profile 11 is designed to be on a between two components 43 (only in the 7 and 8 shown) formed joint to be arranged in such a way that the two profile strips 13, 15 each rest with a contact surface 21 on a surface of a respective one of the components 43 and the central region 17 is accommodated in the joint.
- the joint can be slightly narrower than the elastic central region 17 shown in the relaxed state, so that the central region 17 is compressed in the horizontal direction (based on the orientation shown).
- the middle region 17 connecting the two profile strips is made of flexible soft PVC, so that the profile strips 13, 15 can be moved relative to one another and thus follow relative movements of the components 43 forming the joint can.
- the profile strips 13, 15 are movable in particular horizontally (based on the orientation shown) toward or away from one another. In principle, they can also be displaceable relative to one another, at least to a limited extent, parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement recording profile 11 (perpendicular to the image plane) and thus to the longitudinal extent of the joint.
- the cover strip 19 is on the one hand (in the Fig. 1 to 4 each on the left) mechanically coupled to the first profile strip 13 and on the other hand (further to the right) magnetically coupled or at least coupleable to the second profile strip 15. Because while the mechanical coupling with the first profile strip 13 is permanent, the magnetic coupling with the second profile strip 15 can be released and restored, depending on which position the cover strip 19 occupies.
- the cover strip 19 is in its covering position, in which it is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip 15 and covers the central region 17. From this covering position, the cover strip 19 can be moved into an open position, which is in Fig. 3 is shown, where Fig. 3 otherwise the Fig. 1 fully corresponds.
- the cover strip 19 In this open position, the cover strip 19 is opened by approximately 30° relative to the cover position, so that it is magnetically decoupled from the second profile strip 15 and the central region is at least partially accessible from the outside between the cover strip 19 and the second profile strip 15.
- the cover strip 19 In order to be movable in this way, the cover strip 19 is in the Fig. 1 , 3 , 5 and 6 Embodiment shown is pivotally mounted on the first profile strip 13.
- the magnetic coupling of the cover strip 19 with the second profile strip 15 is brought about by interacting magnetic elements 23, 25, one of which is designed as a magnetic strip 23 and is arranged on an extension 27 of the second profile strip 15 projecting over the central region 17 and the other of which is a steel bleaching strip 25 is formed, which is arranged on an underside of the cover strip 19 and extends over a large part of the underside.
- the contact area of the two magnetic elements 23, 25 creates an interface defined, which is aligned parallel to the contact surfaces 21 of the two profile strips 13, 15 and parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement recording profile.
- the magnetic coupling of the cover strip 19 to the second profile strip 15 takes place across the interface.
- the magnetic elements 23, 25 can be offset relative to one another in a corresponding manner, without this the magnetic coupling would be separated.
- the sheet steel strip 25 forms a sliding plate for the magnetic strip 23.
- the surfaces of the two profile strips 13, 15 and the cover strip 19 that point upward in the figures are designed to be plastered.
- the surfaces of the profile strips 13, 15 are structured in the usual way for plaster profiles and in particular have openings through which plaster can pass.
- a reinforcing fabric 29 can be attached to the profile strips 13, 15, which is only in Fig. 5 is shown.
- the surface of the cover strip 19 is specially provided with a plaster carrier tape, via which plaster can adhere to the cover strip 19.
- the cover strip 19 has a pull-off edge 31 at its free end pointing in the direction of the second profile strip 15, which can be used for plastering and defines the height up to which the movement recording profile 11 is plastered.
- FIG. 2 and 4 the embodiment of the invention is shown.
- This embodiment largely corresponds to that in Fig. 1 embodiment shown with the difference that the cover strip 19 of the movement recording profile 11 is rigidly connected to the first profile strip 13 and has a longitudinal groove 33 which extends over the entire longitudinal extent of the cover strip 19 and the cover strip 19 in the direction of the central region covered by the cover strip 19 17 deepened.
- the longitudinal groove 33 has a substantially V-shape in cross section and is adjacent arranged on the first profile strip 13.
- the longitudinal groove 33 protrudes with the legs of the V-shape partially over the surface of the cover strip 19 to the same extent as the pull-off edge 31. In this way, further reference points are defined for the height up to which the movement recording profile 11 is plastered.
- the cover strip 19 is not movable relative to the first profile strip 13 in that it can be pivoted about the connection to the first profile strip 13, but rather in that the cover strip 19 extends in the circumferential direction around a valley region 35 of the longitudinal groove 33, which essentially passes through the lower apex of the V-shape is defined, can be bent between the covering position and the open position.
- the valley area 35 is designed to be flexible. This allows the cover strip 19 to be opened out of the in Fig. 2 shown cover position into an open position, for example the one in Fig. 4 can correspond to the position shown.
- the cover strip 19 can be opened further or less far in the open position compared to the covering position.
- the open position differs from the covered position by an angle of approximately 15°.
- the angle can also be up to approximately 20° or up to approximately 30°, for example.
- the movement recording profile 11 can have a wedge element 37, which is designed to be inserted into the longitudinal groove 33 in the covering position of the cover strip 19 with a section that is complementary to the longitudinal groove 33, so that the longitudinal groove 33 is completely filled (cf. Fig. 2 ). In this way, it can be prevented that plaster gets into the longitudinal groove 33 when the movement recording profile 11 is plastered, which would impair or block the mobility of the cover strip 19 between the covering position and the open position.
- the wedge element 37 has an extension 39 on which the wedge element 37 can be gripped, in particular in order to be able to easily pull the wedge element 37 out of the longitudinal groove 33 after plastering.
- the central region 17 is essentially formed by a profile section which has a U-shape, the legs of the U-shape being firmly connected to one of the profile strips 13, 15.
- the profile section which can include soft PVC, for example, is so flexible that it can be used in joints of different widths and that it can adapt accordingly to changes in the expansion of the joint in which it is inserted.
- the U-shaped cross section of the central region 17 basically allows the interior of the U-shape to be used for lines, for example, as long as this does not impair the expansion possibilities of the components 43 forming the joint. It can also be useful if the interior is accessible for inspection, for example in the event of damage. Furthermore, particularly when the movement recording profile 11 is arranged vertically, moisture, which is deposited due to condensation, for example, can drain through this interior space.
- the central region 17 projects on one side with a coupling section 41 over the profile strips 13, 15 and over the cover strip 19 in the direction of the longitudinal extent.
- the coupling section 41 connects seamlessly to the remaining central region 17 and therefore also has a U-shape.
- shorten especially in Fig. 6 can be seen, the legs of the U-shape continuously linearly with increasing distance from the remaining movement recording profile 11.
- the coupling section 41 can be deformed due to its flexibility in such a way that the U-shape decreases with increasing distance from the remaining movement recording profile 11 Radius and the coupling section 41 consequently essentially has the shape of a (circumferentially not closed) lateral surface of a truncated cone, i.e. tapers conically.
- the coupling section 41 can be inserted into the interior of a central region 17 of another similar movement recording profile 11, where it advantageously expands again to the extent possible. In this way, a reliable transition between the central regions of movement recording profiles 11 arranged flush next to one another can be achieved.
- the movement recording profiles 11 are advantageously aligned in such a way that the coupling section 41 protrudes downwards and is consequently inserted from above into the middle region 17 of the next lower movement recording profile 11, so that no moisture flowing downwards can escape at the transition between the movement recording profiles 11.
- the reinforcing fabric 29 can also protrude over the profile strips 13, 15 and the cover strip 19 in a similar manner to the coupling section 41. This results in an overlap of the reinforcing fabrics 29 of adjacent movement recording profiles 11.
- the movement recording profile 11 is shown shortened and preferably has a longitudinal extent which exceeds the width of the movement recording profile 11 many times over.
- the length can be at least about ten times the width.
- the length can be on the order of meters and, for example, be about 2 m or more, while the width can be on the order of decimeters and, for example, less than about 30 cm, for example about 20 cm.
- the embodiments of the movement recording profile 11 shown which are not according to the invention, are so-called plaster sealing strips, which are used, for example, to make connections between different Components 43 to be permanently sealed.
- This can in particular be connections between a window or door profile and the surrounding reveal.
- the movement recording profile 11 can be designed as a reveal connection profile.
- the second profile strip 15 is attached to a component 43 (in Fig. 8 left), such as a window or door profile, is attached and the first profile strip 13 is attached to another component 43 to be plastered (in Fig. 8 right).
- the first profile strip 13 rests with the contact surface 21 on the component 43 and is designed to be at least partially covered by plaster 45 like this.
- the component 43 to be plastered can be, for example, masonry or part of a thermal insulation composite system.
- the first profile strip 13 could also be used conversely for attachment to a component 43 that is not to be plastered, in particular in accordance with FIG Fig. 8 shown second profile strip 15, and for this the second profile strip 15 for attachment to a component 43 to be plastered, in particular according to the in Fig. 8 shown first profile strip 13, be formed.
- Fig. 7 a further embodiment is shown, in which both the first profile strip 13 and the second profile strip 15 are designed for attachment to a component 43 to be plastered and each have a contact surface 21 and surfaces aligned opposite to the contact surface 21, which are designed to be plastered to become.
- both profile strips 13, 15 are each of the type in Fig. 8 shown second profile strip 15 are designed for attachment to a component 43 that is not to be plastered.
- the in 7 and 8 The embodiments shown, which are not according to the invention, have in common that the first profile strip 13 and the second profile strip 15 are connected by a central region 17, which is designed as foam.
- the foam holds the profile strips 13, 15 together, but at the same time is at least so flexible that it allows a relative movement of the profile strips 13, 15 to one another within a limited framework in order to be able to compensate for expansion movements of the components 43.
- an additional sealing element 47 is provided, which connects the profile strips 13, 15 in order to seal the joint more reliably than is possible with the foam 17, at least from the outside against the ingress of rain or moisture in general.
- the second profile strip 15 is also attached to the respective component 43 via a similar foam. This connection can also have suitable additional sealants to improve the seal.
- the plaster 45 only extends to the joint between the components 43, into which the movement recording profile 11 is inserted.
- the surface of the cover strip 19 that is oriented outwards is also plastered.
- the surface of the cover strip 19 can be specially designed, in particular provided with a plaster carrier tape.
- the cover strip 19 has a magnetic strip as a magnetic element 25, which attracts a magnetic element 23 provided on the second profile strip 15 in the form of a sliding plate.
- the cover strip 19 and the second profile strip 15 are magnetically coupled to one another, but in such a way that the coupling can be reversibly released and restored and the cover strip 19 and the second profile strip 15 are at least parallel to an interface between the magnetic elements 23, 25 relative to one another are movable.
- a further direct magnetic coupling of the two profile strips 13, 15 is also provided, which is essentially magnetic in nature Coupling of the cover strip 19 with the second profile strip 15 corresponds.
- the first profile strip 13 has a further magnetic element 51 and the second profile strip 15 has a further magnetic element 49, one of which is designed as a magnetic strip and the other as a magnetically attractable sheet metal strip, in particular sheet steel strip.
- the interface between the magnetic elements 49, 51 of this additional magnetic coupling is aligned parallel to the interface between the magnetic elements 23, 25 of the magnetic coupling of the cover strip 19 with the second profile strip 15, so that there is corresponding mobility of the two even with the additional magnetic coupling Profile strips 13, 15 are permitted relative to one another.
- non-inventive embodiments of the movement recording profiles 11 can be used in particular as ceiling plain bearings, which are provided, for example, in the area of the transition between a concrete ceiling and a masonry supporting the concrete ceiling to accommodate relative movements between the components that occur as a result of different expansion.
- a movement absorption profile 11 can be used in particular at joints between parts of a thermal insulation composite system that extends over the transition mentioned.
- the joint between the components is generally aligned horizontally and is typically largely filled by an insulating strip 53.
- the outside of the joint should be covered as far as possible to prevent penetration of foreign bodies or moisture, especially rain, and should at least be largely plasterable so that the joint is as inconspicuous as possible.

- the slats can also be provided in the opposite direction on the first and second profile strips 13, 15.
- more than the slats mentioned can also be provided on the two profile strips 13, 15, the respective number preferably differing by at most one.

Description
The present invention relates to a movement absorption profile for attachment to a joint formed between two components. The joint can in particular be an expansion joint which, in order to avoid stress cracks, creates a way to compensate for the material-dependent expansion or contraction of the respective components, which is unavoidable due to thermal influences. Such joints are particularly needed in connection with building openings, such as doors or windows. In these areas there is the additional difficulty that different materials are adjacent to each other, the thermal behavior of which is different due to their different coefficients of thermal expansion.
In order to achieve the visually preferred impression of a seamless surface and to avoid the penetration of moisture and foreign bodies into the respective joint, it is advisable to cover the joint. A corresponding cover can be provided or attached in particular to profiles that may already be in the area for other purposes be attached to the joint. Plaster profiles or facade profiles, for example, can be considered as building profiles. Expansion joint profiles can be designed specifically for arrangement at an expansion joint. In addition, reveal connection profiles in particular are often arranged in the area of a joint. In principle, any profile that can be used to cover a joint in addition to another function can be considered.
A difficulty in covering arises particularly if the joint is an expansion joint or the joint changes its width for other reasons. In the case of a profile bridging the joint, the relative movement of the two components forming the joint must then be able to be absorbed by the profile. The profile itself must therefore have a certain flexibility or allow movement in some other way. The same applies to the cover of the joint caused by the profile or additionally provided on the profile, especially if the profile and, if possible, the cover are to be plastered or processed in some other way that limits the flexibility or mobility of the cover.
It is an object of the invention to provide a profile which is designed for attachment to a joint formed between two components and in particular to accommodate movements of the two components relative to one another, and thereby offers a simple and reliable way of covering the joint, in particular does not prevent the profile from being plastered, including the cover if possible.
The task is solved by a movement recording profile with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention result from the dependent claims, the present description and the figures.
The movement recording profile is designed to be attached to a joint formed between two components. In principle, this can be any type of building profile that allows movement to be absorbed. In particular, it can be an expansion joint profile or a reveal connection profile. The movement recording profile comprises a first profile strip, which is designed for attachment to one of the two components, and a second profile strip, which is designed to attach to the other of the two components. In particular, the profile strips can be designed specifically for attachment to a respective component Structures such as contact surfaces and edges as well as openings for fasteners such as screws, nails, staples and the like as well as for plaster.
The movement recording profile further comprises a central region which connects the profile strips to one another and is flexible in such a way that the profile strips can be moved relative to one another. The central region or at least a profile section of the central region is preferably designed to be arranged in the joint. The middle region preferably connects the two profile strips to one another in that it is connected to both the first and the second profile strip, preferably mechanically and in particular firmly. In particular, the term connection does not simply mean a contact between two connected elements with one another, but rather a cohesion, which can, for example, be positive, non-positive or materially bonded and is preferably permanent. The fact that the central area is flexible means in particular that it can be significantly and reversibly deformed by forces such as those that occur during the expected movements of the components, without being damaged as a result. This deformability can also be elastic, which can be useful, for example, with regard to sealing the joint.
The flexibility of the central region connecting the two profile strips enables the profile strips to move relative to one another, at least to a limited extent. It is expedient if the central region allows at least such relative movements of the profile strips as occur in particular due to thermal expansion between the components on which the movement recording profile is arranged. The relative movements to be permitted are therefore primarily translations and possibly also torsions to a certain extent, but at least as a rule not rotations.
Furthermore, the movement recording profile includes a cover strip for covering the central region and thus in particular also for covering the joint into which the central region can advantageously be inserted. It is preferred if the cover strip is arranged in such a way that it covers the central region essentially completely, regardless of the relative position in which the two profile strips are currently located within the scope of their mobility, especially with respect to a viewing direction from the outside that is parallel to the joint into the joint.
As strips, the first and second profile strips and the cover strip in particular have an elongated structure with an at least essentially constant cross section. In the longitudinal direction perpendicular to the cross-sectional plane, the strips can extend over a length of a few meters, e.g. 2 m, and can be cut to length to adapt to a desired length or extended by lining up several profiles.
The cover strip is coupled or at least can be coupled to the first profile strip and to the second profile strip, and it can depend in particular on a respective position of the cover strip as to whether the coupling is currently present or not. A possible mobility of the cover strip between different positions will be explained below. Preferably, the movement recording profile is designed so that the cover strip can not only be coupled to at least one of the two profile strips in normal use, but is always coupled. The respective coupling serves in particular to hold the cover strip stably on the profile strip or strips, and can be mechanical, for example.
According to the invention, however, it is provided that at least the coupling of the cover strip to the second profile strip is a magnetic coupling. In other words, the cover strip and the second profile strip are designed to to be magnetically coupled to one another, although this coupling does not necessarily have to be permanent.
The advantage of a magnetic coupling is, in particular, that it can offer a hold comparable to a mechanical coupling and at the same time is easily reversible, in particular can be released and closed again several times with essentially no wear. In addition, the magnetic coupling, in particular in the direction transverse to the direction of effective attraction of the magnetic elements involved, can allow a, in particular sliding, movement of the coupled elements. The magnetic coupling can be maintained up to a certain extent of movement.
The coupling (permanent coupling or ability to be coupled) of the cover strip with the first profile strip can also be magnetic. In this respect, the cover strip can also be held purely magnetically on the two profile strips and rest, so to speak, in a "floating" magnetic manner on the profile strips that are movable relative to one another.
According to a preferred embodiment, however, the cover strip is mechanically coupled to the first profile strip, for example mechanically articulated on the first profile strip or otherwise mechanically firmly connected to the first profile strip. In principle, the cover strip can be connected to the first profile strip can also be designed in one piece, with the cover strip then preferably being formed by that section of this one-piece element which extends over the joint and in particular covers the central area to the outside. In this way, at least a large part of the joint can advantageously not only be covered, but preferably also plastered over. Since it is sufficient for movement compensation if one of the couplings of the cover strip with the two profile strips allows a corresponding movement, it is advantageous to design the other coupling mechanically in order to increase the overall safety and reliability of the arrangement of the cover strip on the profile strips. Unlike two magnetic couplings, if at least one mechanical coupling is provided, the cover strip cannot easily detach itself completely from the profile strips.
For the aforementioned magnetic coupling, the cover strip and the second profile strip can each have a magnetic element, so that the cover strip is magnetically coupled or can be coupled to the second profile strip through the magnetic interaction of the two magnetic elements. The magnetic element of the second profile strip is, for example, a magnetic strip, ie a permanent magnet in strip form, the magnetic strip preferably extending over the entire longitudinal extent of the profile strip. As an alternative to a magnetic strip, several separate, preferably flat, permanent magnets can also be arranged over the longitudinal extent of the profile strip, in particular regularly distributed. The magnetic element of the cover strip is, for example, a sheet steel strip or a strip of another magnetizable, i.e. in particular ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic, material, which preferably extends over the entire longitudinal extent of the cover strip. Instead of a magnetizable strip, a magnetizable film can also be provided. The arrangement can also be reversed, so that the cover strip has the permanent magnetic magnetic element and the second profile strip has an at least magnetizable one Has magnetic element. Furthermore, a permanent magnetic magnetic element can also be provided on both the cover strip and the second profile strip.
In principle, the respective magnetic element can also be integrated into the second profile strip and/or the cover strip. In particular, the cover strip can be formed from a material that is itself magnetizable. For example, the cover strip can comprise a hybrid material made of a plastic and magnetizable metal components. If the second profile strip then has a permanent magnet as a magnetic element, this can directly attract the cover strip for the magnetic coupling.
Furthermore, it is preferred if the magnetic element of the second profile strip and/or the magnetic element of the cover strip is/are encased. The casing can comprise, for example, a plastic as a material. In this way, corrosion protection for the magnetic elements can be achieved. The casing can in principle also be in the form of a coating, in particular a plastic coating. Alternatively, the casing can be designed as a sleeve, for example an elongated sleeve, in which the respective magnetic element is accommodated, for example inserted.
Preferably, the magnetic element of the second profile strip is arranged on an extension of the second profile strip that projects beyond the central region. In this way, the cover strip can be supported more centrally and therefore more stably than if the magnetic coupling takes place to the side of the central area.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the magnetic coupling between the cover strip and the second profile strip is such that the cover strip, when magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, is movable relative to the second profile strip while maintaining the magnetic coupling.
In other words, the cover strip can be moved at least to a limited extent without the magnetic coupling being separated. This can be achieved in particular by providing the magnetic coupling aligned in a suitable manner relative to a relative mobility of the two profile strips permitted by the flexible central region, so that the second profile strip is not only relative to the first profile strip, but also in a corresponding manner can move, in particular slide, relative to the cover strips and thereby remain magnetically coupled to the cover strip.
The movement recording profile can have a longitudinal extent which corresponds in particular to the respective longitudinal extents of the two profile strips and the cover strip, the movement recording profile being designed to be attached to the joint with the longitudinal extension aligned parallel to the joint. According to an advantageous embodiment, the cover strip, when magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, rests on the second profile strip along an interface which is aligned parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement recording profile. The cover strip does not have to lie directly on the second profile strip. However, the aforementioned magnetic elements of the cover strip and the second profile strip are preferably in direct contact with one another when the cover strip is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip. The cover strip and the profile strip can advantageously be displaced relative to one another along the said interface, in particular slide along one another. Therefore, the arrangement mentioned with the alignment of the interface parallel to the longitudinal extent enables displacements of the second profile strip relative to the first profile strip and relative to the cover strip in the direction of the longitudinal extension. Such an embodiment is therefore particularly useful if relative movements of the two components forming the joint are to be expected in the direction parallel to the joint.
According to a further advantageous embodiment, at least one of the profile strips has a contact surface which is designed to rest against one of the two components when the profile strip is attached to the component, wherein the cover strip, when magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, runs along a Interface rests on the second profile strip, which is aligned parallel to this contact surface. With the contact surface, the respective profile strip lies against the respective component, particularly outside the joint. Both profile strips preferably each have such a contact surface, these contact surfaces preferably being aligned parallel to one another, in particular lying in one plane, so that the said boundary surface is then parallel to both contact surfaces. Such an alignment of the interface enables movements of the second profile strip relative to the first profile strip and to the cover strip, which occur parallel to the contact surface or surfaces. Such movements correspond in particular to relative movements of the components forming the joint towards or away from one another, through which the joint is narrowed or widened.
With regard to the greatest possible mobility, it is particularly preferred if the interface is aligned both parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement-absorbing profile and parallel to the contact surface or surfaces of the profile strips.
According to an advantageous embodiment, a surface of the first profile strip, a surface of the second profile strip and a surface of the cover strip are designed to be plastered. The respective surfaces are preferably provided on a side of the respective strip that faces away from the respective components when the movement recording profile is mounted. In particular, the respective surface of a profile strip can be opposite to a respective contact surface This profile strip can be arranged with which the profile strip rests on the component in the assembled state. In order to be able to be plastered well, the respective surfaces in particular have an appropriately designed structure that offers good adhesion for plaster. For example, the surface of the cover strip can be provided with a plaster carrier tape, for example glued or coated. In addition, a pull-off edge for plastering can be formed on the cover strip, in particular at its end pointing in the direction of the second profile strip or on both sides.
Furthermore, it can be advantageous if the first profile strip and the second profile strip are not only connected to one another indirectly via the magnetic coupling of the cover strip to the second profile strip and through the central region, but are coupled or can be coupled to one another in a further way, in particular directly , whereby this further coupling is preferably magnetic. The two profile strips can be magnetically coupled in a similar or corresponding manner, as described above for the magnetic coupling of the cover strip with the second profile strip using various embodiments. In particular, one of the two profile strips can have a magnetic element, in particular a magnetic strip, and the other can have a magnetic element, in particular a sheet steel strip, through whose magnetic interaction with one another the two profile strips are magnetically coupled or can be coupled. The magnetic elements can each be encased, for example to protect against corrosion, in particular with a plastic. An interface between the profile strips, across which the magnetic coupling of the two profile strips to one another takes place, is preferably aligned parallel to a longitudinal extent of the movement-receiving profile and/or parallel to one or more contact surfaces of the profile strips. Furthermore, it is preferred if the two profile strips can be displaced relative to one another along the interface, in particular can slide along one another.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the cover strip is movable between a covering position in which it is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip and covers the central region, and an open position in which it is decoupled from the second profile strip so that the central region is at least partially accessible . The cover strip preferably retains this mobility even when the movement recording profile is installed. In order to be movable in this way, the cover strip can, for example, be mounted in an articulated or pivotable manner on the first profile strip. Alternatively or additionally, the cover strip itself can be deformable, in particular bendable, foldable or foldable in a preferably defined manner. In principle, by moving the cover strip into the open position, the central area can be completely revealed, for example if the cover strip can be opened by 90° or more. However, it can also be provided that the open position differs from the covering position by a significantly smaller angle, for example approximately 30° or less. Even then, the middle area can still be sufficiently accessible between the cover strip and the second profile strip, for example to be able to remove foreign bodies that have penetrated into the joint or the middle area, to carry out inspection measures or to be able to lay cables in the joint.
According to the invention, the cover strip has a longitudinal groove, in particular V-shaped in cross section, and can be bent, folded or folded in the circumferential direction around a valley area of the longitudinal groove, in particular around the apex of the V-shape, between the covering position and the open position. Overlays of these movement options are also conceivable. The cross section is preferably essentially constant over the entire longitudinal extent of the cover strip. One of the two or both upper edges of the longitudinal groove, through which the longitudinal groove is laterally limited, can protrude over the surface of the cover strip and thereby form pull-off edges or at least boundaries for plastering the movement recording profile. In particular, can thus the surface of the cover strip between the longitudinal groove and the end of the cover strip pointing in the direction of the second profile strip has a pull-off edge on both sides for plastering.
By bending, folding and/or folding, the cover strip can be moved in particular between the covering position and the open position.
In order to simplify plastering, it is further preferred that the movement-receiving profile comprises a wedge element which is designed to be inserted into the longitudinal groove in order to prevent plaster from penetrating into the longitudinal groove when the movement-receiving profile is plastered. In addition, the cover strip can also be blocked in the covering position, at least for installation, by means of the wedge element inserted into the longitudinal groove. The wedge element preferably comprises a section which corresponds to the cross section of the longitudinal groove Cross-section, so that the longitudinal groove is at least substantially completely filled by the inserted wedge element.
In this case, holding means can be provided, for example on the upper edges of the longitudinal groove and/or at corresponding points on the wedge element itself, in order to secure the inserted wedge element in the longitudinal groove against unintentional falling out. These can be, for example, constrictions made of soft PVC, which extend on both sides of the longitudinal groove along a line in the longitudinal direction and hold the inserted wedge element in a frictional manner. The holding means are preferably designed in such a way that they cancel out the gravitational forces acting on the wedge element, but can be overcome by hand so that the wedge element can be easily removed from the longitudinal groove after the movement recording profile has been plastered. For this purpose, an extension can be formed on the wedge element, on which the wedge element can be pulled out of the longitudinal groove.
According to a further advantageous embodiment, the central region has a profile section made of a flexible material, in particular comprising soft PCV, which is bent in the circumferential direction around its longitudinal extent so that it has a U-shape in cross section. The cross section is preferably at least essentially constant over the entire longitudinal extent of the movement recording profile. If the central region, in particular the said profile section of the central region, is inserted into the joint between the components to which the movement receiving profile is attached, the cross section of the profile section can also be deformed as a result of being inserted into the joint, preferably being at least substantially one Maintains U shape. The U-shape is in particular aligned in such a way that its legs rest on a different one of the two profile strips or directly on a different one of the two components forming the joint and the open side of the U-shape faces the cover strip by which it is covered . In this way the interior can the U-shape can be accessible from the outside, in particular by moving the cover strip into the open position mentioned.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the central region with a coupling section protrudes in the direction of a longitudinal extent of the movement recording profile over the profile strips and the cover strip and is designed to be coupled to the central region of a similar further movement recording profile arranged adjacent to the movement recording profile. The movement absorption profile is mounted in particular with its longitudinal extent parallel to the joint. The coupling section can then protrude within the joint over the remaining movement absorption profile in order to cooperate with a further movement absorption profile adjacent in the direction of the longitudinal extent. In principle, the central region can have a respective coupling section on both sides. However, a coupling section is preferably only provided on one side. The coupling of the two movement recording profiles adjoining one another in the longitudinal direction can then take place in particular by inserting the coupling section of the central region of one movement recording profile into an interior region of the central region, in particular an interior of a U-shape of a profile section of the central region, of the other movement recording profile. In this way, a continuous channel can be created across several movement recording profiles, which extends through the central region of the movement recording profiles.
On vertical surfaces, such as walls, expansion joints typically run vertically (although horizontal or diagonally aligned expansion joints are also generally possible). In such a case, the movement recording profiles are preferably attached in such a way that the coupling section projects downwards and can therefore be inserted from above into the central region of the movement recording profile arranged underneath. In this way, moisture, which may flow through the channel formed in this way does not exit at the seams, but is reliably guided into the next lower movement recording profile.
According to an advantageous development, the coupling section has a U-shape in cross section, the legs of which shorten as the distance from the rest of the movement recording profile increases. At the same time, the radius of the U-shape can be reduced, so that the coupling section tapers like a cone. However, this is not absolutely necessary. Because of the flexibility of the central region, the coupling section with the shortening legs can also simply be bent into a corresponding cone-like tapering shape. Due to the cone-like tapering shape of the coupling section, it can then be inserted into the U-shape of the profile section of the central region of the next similar movement recording profile.

While the profile strips 13, 15 and the

The

The
In addition to this magnetic coupling of the

The two profile strips 13, 15 each have a
The surfaces of the
