Definitions
- the present invention relates to a movement absorption profile for attachment to a joint formed between two components.
- the joint can be, in particular, an expansion joint which, in order to avoid stress cracks, creates a compensation option for the material-dependent expansion or contraction of the respective components, which is unavoidable due to the thermal influences.
- such joints are required in connection with building openings, such as doors or windows. In these areas there is the additional difficulty that different materials adjoin one another, the thermal behavior of which is different due to their different coefficients of thermal expansion.
- a corresponding cover can in particular be provided or fastened to profiles which, under certain circumstances, are anyway attached in the area of the joint for other purposes.
- plaster profiles or facade profiles come into consideration as building profiles.
- Expansion joint profiles can be specially designed to be arranged on an expansion joint.
- soffit connection profiles in particular are often arranged in the area of a joint. Basically, however, any profile comes into consideration that can be used in addition to another function to cover a joint, if necessary.
- a difficulty in covering arises in particular when the joint is an expansion joint or the joint changes its width for other reasons.
- the relative movement of the two components forming the joint to one another must then be able to be absorbed by the profile.
- the profile itself must therefore have a certain flexibility or allow movement in some other way.
- the movement absorption profile is designed for attachment to a joint formed between two components.
- this can be any type of building profile that enables movement to be recorded.
- it can be an expansion joint profile or a soffit connection profile.
- the movement absorption profile comprises a first profile strip, which is designed for attachment to one of the two components, and a second profile strip, which is configured for attachment to the other of the two components.
- the profile strips can be specially designed for attachment to a respective component Structures, such as contact surfaces and edges, and openings for fasteners, such as screws, nails, clips and the like, and for plaster.
- the movement absorption profile further comprises a central region which connects the profile strips to one another and is so flexible that the profile strips can be moved relative to one another.
- the central region or at least one profile section of the central region is preferably designed to be arranged in the joint.
- the central region preferably connects the two profile strips to one another insofar as it is connected to the first as well as to the second profile strip, preferably mechanically, and in particular firmly.
- a contact of two connected elements with one another is to be understood, but rather a cohesion that can be, for example, form-fitting, force-fitting or material-locking and is preferably permanent.
- the central area is flexible means, in particular, that it can be significantly and reversibly deformed by forces such as those which occur during the expected movements of the components, without being damaged thereby.
- This deformability can also be elastic, which can be useful with regard to sealing the joint, for example.
- the flexibility of the central region connecting the two profile strips enables the profile strips to move, at least to a limited extent, relative to one another. It is expedient if the central region permits at least such relative movements of the profile strips as occur in particular due to thermal expansion between the components on which the movement absorption profile is arranged. Thus, the relative movements to be permitted are primarily translations and possibly also to a certain extent torsions, but at least generally not rotations.
- the movement recording profile comprises a cover strip for covering the central area and thus in particular also for covering the joint, in which the central area can advantageously be inserted. It is preferred if the cover strip is arranged in such a way that it completely covers the central region, regardless of the relative position in which the two profile strips are currently within the scope of their mobility, in particular with respect to a viewing direction parallel to the joint from the outside in the joint.
- the first and second profile strips and the cover strip in particular have an elongated structure with an at least substantially constant cross section.
- the strips can extend over a length of a few meters, e.g. 2 m, and cut to length to match a desired length or lengthened by stringing together several profiles.
- the cover strip is coupled or at least can be coupled to the first profile strip and to the second profile strip, it being possible in particular for a respective position of the cover strip to determine whether the coupling is currently present or not.
- a possible mobility of the cover strip between different positions is explained below.
- the movement recording profile is preferably designed so that the cover strip is not only coupled, but is always coupled, in the usual use with at least one of the two profile strips.
- the respective coupling serves in particular to hold the cover strip stably on the profile strip (s) and can be mechanical, for example.
- At least the coupling of the cover strip to the second profile strip is a magnetic coupling.
- the cover strip and the second profile strip are designed to to be magnetically coupled to one another, whereby this coupling does not necessarily have to be permanent.
- a magnetic coupling in particular that it can offer a hold comparable to a mechanical coupling and at the same time is reversible in a simple manner, in particular can be released and closed again several times, essentially without wear.
- the magnetic coupling in particular in the direction transverse to the direction of the effective attraction of the magnetic elements involved, can permit, in particular sliding, movement of the coupled elements.
- the magnetic coupling can be maintained to a certain extent.
- the fact that the cover strip is magnetically coupled or can be coupled to the second profile strip makes it possible for the cover strip and the second profile strip to move relative to one another in order to compensate for relative movements of the components forming the joint, without the coupling being separated thereby , In this way, the cover strip can be coupled to both profile strips and always arranged to cover the central region, although the two profile strips also move relative to one another due to relative movements of the components.
- the coupling (permanent coupling or connectivity) of the cover strip with the first profile strip can also be magnetic.
- the cover strip can also be held purely magnetically on the two profile strips and can be placed on the profile strips that are movable relative to one another, so to speak, in a "floating" manner in a magnetically supported manner.
- the cover strip is mechanically coupled to the first profile strip, for example mechanically articulated on the first profile strip or mechanically firmly connected to the first profile strip in another way.
- the cover strip with the first profile strip can also be formed in one piece, the cover strip then preferably being formed by that section of this one-piece element which extends over the joint and in particular conceals the central region from the outside. In this way, at least a large part of the joint can advantageously not only be covered, but preferably also plastered over.
- the cover strip Since it is sufficient for the movement compensation if one of the couplings of the cover strip with the two profile strips permits a corresponding movement, it is advantageous to design the other coupling mechanically in order to increase the overall safety and reliability of the arrangement of the cover strip on the profile strips. In contrast to two magnetic couplings, the cover strip, if at least one mechanical coupling is provided, cannot be completely detached from the profile strips.
- the cover strip and the second profile strip can each have a magnetic element, so that the cover strip can be magnetically coupled or coupled to the second profile strip by the magnetic interaction of the two magnetic elements.
- the magnetic element of the second profile strip is, for example, a magnetic strip, ie a permanent magnet in strip form, the magnetic strip preferably extending over the entire longitudinal extent of the profile strip.
- a plurality of separate, preferably flat, permanent magnets can also be arranged, in particular regularly distributed, over the longitudinal extent of the profile strip.
- the magnetic element of the cover strip is, for example, a sheet steel strip or a strip of another magnetizable, in particular ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic, material which preferably extends over the entire longitudinal extent of the cover strip.
- a magnetizable strip a magnetizable film can also be provided.
- the arrangement can also be reversed, so that the cover strip has the permanent magnetic magnetic element and the second profile strip has an at least magnetizable one Has magnetic element.
- a permanent magnetic magnetic element can also be provided both on the cover strip and on the second profile strip.
- the respective magnetic element can also be integrated in the second profile strip and / or the cover strip.
- the cover strip can be formed from a material that can itself be magnetized.
- the cover strip can comprise a hybrid material made of a plastic and magnetizable metal parts. If the second profile strip then has a permanent magnet as a magnetic element, this can directly attract the cover strip for the magnetic coupling.
- the casing can comprise, for example, a plastic as the material. In this way, corrosion protection for the magnetic elements can be achieved.
- the casing can in principle also be in the form of a coating, in particular a plastic coating.
- the casing can be used as a sheath, e.g. elongated sleeve, formed in which the respective magnetic element is received, e.g. is inserted.
- the magnetic element of the second profile strip is preferably arranged on an extension of the second profile strip projecting beyond the central region. In this way, the cover strip can be supported more centrally and thus more stably than if the magnetic coupling takes place to the side of the central region.
- the magnetic coupling between the cover strip and the second profile strip is such that the cover strip, when magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, can be moved relative to the second profile strip while maintaining the magnetic coupling.
- the cover strip can be moved at least to a limited extent without the magnetic coupling being separated thereby.
- This can be achieved in particular by providing the magnetic coupling in a suitable manner in relation to a relative mobility of the two profile strips permitted by the flexible central region, so that the second profile strip is not only relative to the first profile strip, but also in a corresponding manner can move relative to the cover strip, in particular slide, and remains magnetically coupled to the cover strip.
- the movement absorption profile can have a longitudinal extension which corresponds in particular to the respective longitudinal extensions of the two profile strips and the cover strip, the movement absorption profile being designed to be attached to the joint with the longitudinal extension oriented parallel to the joint.
- the cover strip when the cover strip is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, it lies against the second profile strip along an interface which is aligned parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement-receiving profile.
- the cover strip does not have to be in direct contact with the second profile strip.
- the aforementioned magnetic elements of the cover strip and the second profile strip are preferably in direct contact with one another when the cover strip is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip.
- the cover strip and the profile strip can advantageously be displaced relative to one another along the said interface, in particular slide along one another.
- the above-mentioned arrangement with alignment of the interface parallel to the longitudinal extent enables displacements of the second profile bar relative to the first profile bar and relative to the cover bar in the direction of the longitudinal extent.
- Such an embodiment is therefore particularly expedient if relative movements of the two components forming the joint in the direction parallel to the joint are to be expected.
- At least one of the profile strips has a contact surface which is designed to bear against one of the two components when the profile strip is fastened to the component, the cover strip, when magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, along one Border lies on the second profile bar, which is aligned parallel to this contact surface.
- the respective profile strip lies against the respective component, in particular outside the joint.
- Both profile strips preferably each have such a contact surface, these contact surfaces preferably being aligned parallel to one another, in particular lying in one plane, so that the interface mentioned is then parallel to both contact surfaces.
- Such an alignment of the interface enables movements of the second profile strip relative to the first profile strip and to the cover strip, which movements take place parallel to the contact surface or surfaces.
- Such movements correspond in particular to relative movements of the components forming the joint toward or away from one another, by means of which the joint is narrowed or widened.
- the interface is aligned both parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement absorption profile and also parallel to the contact surface (s) of the profile strips.
- Both the profile strips and the cover strip can each have a surface that is designed to be plastered. It is particularly preferred that both a surface of the first profile strip and a surface of the second profile strip and a surface of the cover strip are designed to be plastered.
- the respective surfaces are preferably provided on a side of the respective strip which faces away from the respective components when the movement recording profile is mounted.
- the respective surface of a profile strip can be opposite to a respective contact surface this profile bar can be arranged with which the profile bar rests in the assembled state on the component.
- the respective surfaces in particular have an appropriately designed structure which offers good adhesion for plaster.
- the surface of the cover strip can be provided with a plaster base tape, for example glued or coated.
- a pull-off edge for plastering can be formed on the cover strip, in particular on its end pointing in the direction of the second profile strip or on both sides.
- first profiled strip and the second profiled strip are not only connected to one another indirectly via the magnetic coupling of the cover strip to the second profiled strip and through the central region, but can also be coupled or coupled to one another in a further manner, in particular directly , wherein this further coupling is preferably magnetic.
- the two profile strips can be magnetically coupled in a similar or corresponding manner to that described above for the magnetic coupling of the cover strip to the second profile strip using various embodiments.
- one of the two profile strips can have a magnetic element, in particular a magnetic strip, and the other can have a magnetic element, in particular a sheet steel strip, through the magnetic interaction of which the two profile strips are magnetically coupled or can be coupled.
- the magnetic elements can be encased in each case, for example to protect against corrosion, in particular with a plastic.
- An interface between the profile strips, via which the magnetic coupling of the two profile strips takes place with one another, is preferably aligned parallel to a longitudinal extent of the movement absorption profile and / or parallel to one or more contact surfaces of the profile strips. It is further preferred if the two profile strips can be displaced relative to one another along the interface, in particular can slide along one another.
- the cover strip is movable between a cover position in which it is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip and covers the central region, and an open position in which it is decoupled from the second profile strip, so that the central region is at least partially accessible ,
- This mobility of the cover strip is preferably retained even when the motion recording profile is installed.
- the cover strip can, for example, be articulated or pivoted on the first profile strip.
- the cover strip itself can be deformable, in particular bendable, kinkable or foldable in a preferably defined manner. Basically, moving the cover strip into the open position reveals the central area completely, for example if the cover strip can be opened by 90 ° or more.
- the open position differs from the cover position by a substantially smaller angle, for example of approximately 30 ° or less. Even then, the central area can still be sufficiently accessible between the cover strip and the second profile strip, for example in order to be able to remove foreign bodies that have penetrated into the joint or the central area, to carry out revision measures or to be able to lay lines in the joint.
- the cover strip has a longitudinal groove, in particular V-shaped in cross section, and bendable in the circumferential direction around a valley region of the longitudinal groove, in particular around the apex of the V-shape, between the covering position and the open position or foldable. Overlaps of these movement possibilities are also conceivable.
- the cross section is preferably essentially constant over the entire longitudinal extent of the cover strip.
- One of the two or both upper edges of the longitudinal groove, by means of which the longitudinal groove is delimited laterally, can protrude beyond the surface of the cover strip and thereby form trigger edges or at least limits for plastering the movement absorption profile.
- the surface of the cover strip between the longitudinal groove and the end of the cover strip pointing in the direction of the second profile strip can thus have a pull-off edge for plastering on both sides.
- the cover strip can in particular be moved between the cover position and the open position by bending, kinking and / or folding. Since these movements take place around the valley area of the longitudinal groove, the longitudinal groove is narrowed in each case. In this way, the longitudinal groove can in particular provide the space required for moving from the cover position into the open position in a defined manner. This is particularly important when the motion recording profile including the cover strip is to be plastered, in which case essentially only the longitudinal groove has to remain free of plaster, but the entire remaining profile can be plastered.
- the cover strip were articulated on the first profile strip or were simply bent open without the longitudinal groove being provided, the plaster provided could tear there or at least be loosened and damaged. This can be prevented by providing the longitudinal groove. In this way, for example, a wall with an expansion joint to which the movement absorption profile is attached can be plastered almost continuously, with the exception of a narrow gap defined by the longitudinal joint, so that the desired impression of an essentially seamless surface is obtained.
- the movement receiving profile comprises a wedge element which is designed to be inserted into the longitudinal groove in order to prevent plaster from penetrating into the longitudinal groove when the movement receiving profile is plastered.
- the wedge element inserted into the longitudinal groove can also block the cover strip, at least for assembly in the cover position.
- the wedge element preferably comprises a section that corresponds to the cross section of the longitudinal groove Has cross section, so that the longitudinal groove is at least substantially completely filled by the wedge element used.
- Holding means can be provided, for example on the upper edges of the longitudinal groove and / or at corresponding points on the wedge element itself, in order to secure the inserted wedge element in the longitudinal groove against unintentional falling out. It can e.g. are constrictions made of soft PVC, which extend on both sides of the longitudinal groove along a line in the longitudinal direction and hold the wedge element used frictionally.
- the holding means are preferably designed in such a way that they cancel the gravitational forces acting on the wedge element, but can be overcome by hand, so that the wedge element can be removed from the longitudinal groove in a simple manner after plastering the movement absorption profile.
- an extension can be formed on the wedge element, on which the wedge element can be pulled out of the longitudinal groove.
- the central region has a profile section made of a flexible material, in particular comprising soft PCV, which is bent around its longitudinal extent in the circumferential direction, so that it has a U-shape in cross section.
- the cross section is preferably at least substantially constant over the entire longitudinal extent of the movement absorption profile. If the central region, in particular the aforementioned profile section of the central region, is inserted into the joint between the components to which the movement absorption profile is attached, the cross section of the profile section can also be deformed as a result of being inserted into the joint, it preferably being at least essentially one U shape maintains.
- the U-shape is in particular aligned such that its legs rest against another of the two profile strips or directly against another of the two components forming the joint and the open side of the U-shape faces the cover strip, from which it is covered , This way the interior the U-shape from the outside, in particular by moving the cover strip into said open position.
- the central region with a coupling section protrudes in the direction of a longitudinal extension of the movement absorption profile over the profile strips and the cover strip and is designed to be coupled to the central region of a similar further movement absorption profile arranged adjacent to the movement absorption profile.
- the movement absorption profile is mounted parallel to the joint, in particular with its longitudinal extent.
- the coupling section can then protrude beyond the remaining movement absorption profile within the joint in order to interact with a further movement absorption profile adjacent in the direction of the longitudinal extent.
- the central region can have a respective coupling section on both sides.
- a coupling section is preferably only provided on one side.
- the coupling of the two movement recording profiles adjoining one another in the longitudinal direction can then take place in particular by inserting the coupling section of the central region of the one movement recording profile into an inner region of the central region, in particular an interior of a U-shape of a profile section of the central region, of the other movement recording profile.
- a continuous channel can be created across several movement recording profiles, each of which extends through the central region of the movement recording profiles.
- the movement absorption profiles are preferably attached in such a way that the coupling section protrudes downward and can therefore be inserted from above into the central region of the movement absorption profile arranged below. This way moisture, which may flow through the channel formed in this way does not emerge at the seams, but is reliably guided into the next lower movement absorption profile.
- the coupling section has a U-shape in cross section, the legs of which shorten with increasing distance from the rest of the movement absorption profile.
- the radius of the U-shape can be reduced, so that the coupling section tapers like a cone.
- the coupling section with the shortening legs can also simply be bent into a corresponding conical shape. Due to the conically tapering shape of the coupling section, the coupling section can then be inserted into the U-shape of the profile section of the central region of the next similar movement recording profile.
- Movement absorption profile 11 shown comprises a first profile strip 13, a second profile strip 15, a flexible central region 17 and a cover strip 19.
- the movement absorption profile 11 is designed to be attached to one between two components 43 (only in FIGS 7 and 8 shown) to be arranged such that the two profile strips 13, 15 each abut with a contact surface 21 on a surface of a respective one of the components 43 and the central region 17 is received in the joint.
- the joint can be somewhat narrower than the elastic central region 17 shown in the relaxed state, so that the central region 17 is compressed in the horizontal direction (based on the orientation shown).
- the central region 17 connecting the two profile strips is made of flexible soft PVC, so that the profile strips 13, 15 can be moved relative to one another and thus relative movements of the components 43 forming the joint comprehend can.
- the profile strips 13, 15 are in particular horizontally (based on the orientation shown) movable towards and away from each other. In principle, they can also be displaceable relative to one another at least to a limited extent parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement recording profile 11 (perpendicular to the image plane) and thus to the longitudinal extent of the joint.
- the cover strip 19 is on the one hand (in the 1 to 4 each on the left) mechanically coupled to the first profile strip 13 and on the other hand (further on the right) magnetically coupled to the second profile strip 15 or at least couplable. Because while the mechanical coupling with the first profile strip 13 is permanent, the magnetic coupling with the second profile strip 15 can be released and restored, depending on the position of the cover strip 19.
- the cover strip 19 In Fig. 1 the cover strip 19 is in its cover position, in which it is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip 15 and covers the central region 17. From this cover position, the cover strip 19 can be moved into an open position, which in Fig. 3 is shown, wherein Fig. 3 otherwise the Fig. 1 completely corresponds.
- the cover strip 19 In this open position, the cover strip 19 is unfolded by approximately 30 ° relative to the cover position, so that it is magnetically decoupled from the second profile strip 15 and the central region is at least partially accessible from the outside between the cover strip 19 and the second profile strip 15.
- the cover strip 19 In order to be so movable, the cover strip 19 is in the in the Fig. 1 . 3 . 5 and 6 Embodiment shown pivotally mounted on the first profile bar 13.
- the magnetic coupling of the cover strip 19 with the second profile strip 15 is effected by interacting magnetic elements 23, 25, one of which is designed as a magnetic strip 23 and is arranged on an extension 27 of the second profile strip 15 protruding beyond the central region 17, and of which the other as a steel bleaching strip 25 is formed, which is arranged on an underside of the cover strip 19 and extends over a large part of the underside.
- An interface is formed by the contact area of the two magnetic elements 23, 25 defined, which is aligned parallel to the contact surfaces 21 of the two profile strips 13, 15 and parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement absorption profile.
- the magnetic coupling of the cover strip 19 with the second profile strip 15 takes place across the interface.
- the magnetic elements 23, 25 can be displaced relative to one another in a corresponding manner without this the magnetic coupling would be disconnected.
- the steel sheet strip 25 forms a sliding sheet for the magnetic strip 23.
- the surfaces of the two profile strips 13, 15 and the cover strip 19 pointing upward in the figures are designed to be plastered.
- the surfaces of the profile strips 13, 15 are structured in a manner customary for plaster profiles and in particular have openings through which plaster can pass.
- a reinforcing fabric 29 can be attached to the profile strips 13, 15, which only in Fig. 5 is shown.
- the surface of the cover strip 19 is specially provided with a plaster carrier tape, via which plaster can adhere to the cover strip 19.
- the cover strip 19 has, at its free end pointing in the direction of the second profile strip 15, a pull-off edge 31 which can be used for plastering and defines the height to which the movement absorption profile 11 is plastered.
- FIG. 2 and 4 An alternative embodiment of a motion recording profile 11 is shown.
- This embodiment largely corresponds to that in FIG Fig. 1 Embodiment shown with the difference that the cover strip 19 of the movement absorption profile 11 is rigidly connected to the first profile strip 13 and has a longitudinal groove 33 which extends over the entire longitudinal extent of the cover strip 19 and the cover strip 19 in the direction of the central region covered by the cover strip 19 17 deepened.
- the longitudinal groove 33 is essentially V-shaped in cross-section and is adjacent arranged on the first profile strip 13.
- the longitudinal groove 33 projects partially with the legs of the V-shape over the surface of the cover strip 19, to the same extent as the pull-off edge 31. In this way, further reference points are defined for the height up to which the movement absorption profile 11 is plastered.
- the cover strip 19 is not movable relative to the first profile strip 13 in that it can be pivoted about the connection to the first profile strip 13, but rather in that the cover strip 19 extends in the circumferential direction around a valley region 35 of the longitudinal groove 33, which essentially extends through the lower apex of FIG V-shape is defined between the cover position and the open position is bendable.
- the valley area 35 is designed to be flexible.
- the movement absorption profile 11 can have a wedge element 37 which is designed to be inserted into the longitudinal groove 33 in the covering position of the cover strip 19 with a section complementary to the longitudinal groove 33, so that the longitudinal groove 33 is completely filled (cf. Fig. 2 ). In this way, it can be prevented that plaster gets into the longitudinal groove 33 when the movement receiving profile 11 is plastered, which would impair or block the mobility of the cover strip 19 between the cover position and the open position.
- the wedge element 37 has an extension 39 on which the wedge element 37 can be gripped, in particular in order to be able to pull the wedge element 37 out of the longitudinal groove 33 after plastering.
- the central region 17 is essentially formed by a profile section which has a U-shape, the legs of the U-shape being firmly connected to one of the profile strips 13, 15 in each case.
- the profile section which can include, for example, soft PVC, is so flexible that it can be used in joints of different widths and that it can adapt accordingly to changes in the expansion of the joint in which it is used.
- the U-shaped cross section of the central region 17 basically allows the interior of the U-shape to be e.g. to use for lines, provided that this does not affect the expansion possibilities of the components 43 forming the joint. It can also be useful if the interior is accessible for inspection, for example in the event of damage. Furthermore, in particular when the movement absorption profile 11 is arranged vertically, moisture which e.g. due to condensation, drain through this interior.
- the central region 17 projects on one side with a coupling section 41 over the profile strips 13, 15 and over the cover strip 19 in the direction of the longitudinal extent.
- the cross section of the coupling section 41 connects seamlessly to the remaining central region 17 and consequently likewise has a U-shape.
- the legs of the U-shape are continuously linear with increasing distance from the rest of the movement absorption profile 11.
- the coupling section 41 can be deformed due to its flexibility such that the U-shape decreases with increasing distance from the rest of the movement absorption profile 11 Radius and the coupling section 41 consequently essentially has the shape of a (circumferentially not closed) lateral surface of a truncated cone, that is tapered.
- the coupling section 41 can be inserted into the interior of a central region 17 of a further movement recording profile 11 of the same type, where it advantageously expands again, insofar as it is possible therein. In this way, a reliable transition between the central regions of motion recording profiles 11 arranged flush next to one another can be achieved.
- the movement absorption profiles 11 are advantageously oriented such that the coupling section 41 projects downwards and is consequently inserted from above into the central region 17 of the next lower movement absorption profile 11, so that no moisture flowing down at the transition between the movement absorption profiles 11 can escape.
- Fig. 5 shows, in a manner similar to the coupling section 41, the reinforcing fabric 29 can also protrude beyond the profiled strips 13, 15 and the cover strip 19. This results in an overlap of the reinforcement mesh 29 of adjacent movement absorption profiles 11.
- the movement absorption profiles 11 are reliably fixed relative to one another.
- the movement absorption profile 11 is shown shortened and preferably has a longitudinal extent which exceeds the width of the movement absorption profile 11 many times over.
- the length can be at least about ten times the width.
- the length can be of the order of meters and can be, for example, about 2 m or more, while the width is of the order of decimeters and is, for example, less than about 30 cm, for example about 20 cm.
- the motion recording profile 11 shown are so-called plaster sealing strips, which are used, for example, to make connections between different Form components 43 permanently tight.
- these can be connections between a window or door profile and the surrounding reveal.
- the movement absorption profile 11 can be designed as a soffit connection profile.
- the second profile strip 15 on a component 43 not to be plastered in Fig. 8 left
- the first profile strip 13 on another component 43 to be plastered in Fig. 8 right
- the first profiled strip 13 lies with the contact surface 21 on the component 43 and is designed to be at least partially covered by plaster 45 like this.
- the component 43 to be plastered can, for example, be masonry or part of a composite thermal insulation system.
- first profile strip 13 could also be attached to a component 43 that is not to be plastered, in particular in accordance with that in Fig. 8 shown second profile bar 15, and for this purpose the second profile bar 15 for attachment to a component 43 to be plastered, in particular according to the in Fig. 8 shown first profile bar 13, be formed.

- both profile strips 13, 15 each according to the type in Fig. 8 shown second profile bar 15 are designed for attachment to a component 43 not to be plastered.
- the in 7 and 8 The embodiments shown have in common that the first profile strip 13 and the second profile strip 15 are connected by a central region 17, which is designed as a foam.
- the foam holds the profile strips 13, 15 together, is at least at the same time so flexible that it allows a relative movement of the profiled strips 13, 15 with respect to one another in order to be able to compensate for expansion movements of the components 43.
- an additional sealing element 47 is provided, which connects the profiled strips 13, 15, in order to seal the joint to the outside at least against the ingress of rain or moisture in general more reliably than is possible through the foam 17.
- the second profile strip 15 is also fastened to the respective component 43 via a similar foam. This connection can also have suitable additional sealants to improve the seal.
- FIGS 7 and 8 An outwardly directed leg of the substantially Y-shaped cross section of the first profile strip 13 largely bridging the joint forms a cover strip 19, which is shown in FIGS 7 and 8
- the embodiments shown are formed in one piece with the first profile strip 13.
- the plaster 45 extends only to the joint between the components 43, in which the motion absorption profile 11 is inserted.
- the surface of the cover strip 19 oriented outwards in the figures: upwards

Description
The present invention relates to a movement absorption profile for attachment to a joint formed between two components. The joint can be, in particular, an expansion joint which, in order to avoid stress cracks, creates a compensation option for the material-dependent expansion or contraction of the respective components, which is unavoidable due to the thermal influences. In particular, such joints are required in connection with building openings, such as doors or windows. In these areas there is the additional difficulty that different materials adjoin one another, the thermal behavior of which is different due to their different coefficients of thermal expansion.
In order on the one hand to achieve the optically preferred impression of a seamless surface and on the other hand to prevent the penetration of moisture and foreign bodies into the respective joint, it is advisable to cover the joint. A corresponding cover can in particular be provided or fastened to profiles which, under certain circumstances, are anyway attached in the area of the joint for other purposes. For example, plaster profiles or facade profiles come into consideration as building profiles. Expansion joint profiles can be specially designed to be arranged on an expansion joint. In addition, soffit connection profiles in particular are often arranged in the area of a joint. Basically, however, any profile comes into consideration that can be used in addition to another function to cover a joint, if necessary.
A difficulty in covering arises in particular when the joint is an expansion joint or the joint changes its width for other reasons. In the case of a profile bridging the joint, the relative movement of the two components forming the joint to one another must then be able to be absorbed by the profile. The profile itself must therefore have a certain flexibility or allow movement in some other way. The same applies to the cover of the joint caused by the profile or additionally provided on the profile, in particular if the profile and, if possible, the cover too are to be plastered or otherwise processed, by means of which the flexibility or mobility of the cover is restricted.
It is an object of the invention to provide a profile which is designed for attachment to a joint formed between two components and, in particular, is designed to accommodate movements of the two components relative to one another, and thereby offers a simple and reliable possibility of covering the joint, in particular a plastering of the profile, including the cover if possible, does not prevent this.
The object is achieved by a movement recording profile with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention result from the dependent claims, the present description and the figures.
The movement absorption profile is designed for attachment to a joint formed between two components. In principle, this can be any type of building profile that enables movement to be recorded. In particular, it can be an expansion joint profile or a soffit connection profile. The movement absorption profile comprises a first profile strip, which is designed for attachment to one of the two components, and a second profile strip, which is configured for attachment to the other of the two components. In particular, the profile strips can be specially designed for attachment to a respective component Structures, such as contact surfaces and edges, and openings for fasteners, such as screws, nails, clips and the like, and for plaster.
The movement absorption profile further comprises a central region which connects the profile strips to one another and is so flexible that the profile strips can be moved relative to one another. The central region or at least one profile section of the central region is preferably designed to be arranged in the joint. The central region preferably connects the two profile strips to one another insofar as it is connected to the first as well as to the second profile strip, preferably mechanically, and in particular firmly. In this connection, in particular, not only a contact of two connected elements with one another is to be understood, but rather a cohesion that can be, for example, form-fitting, force-fitting or material-locking and is preferably permanent. The fact that the central area is flexible means, in particular, that it can be significantly and reversibly deformed by forces such as those which occur during the expected movements of the components, without being damaged thereby. This deformability can also be elastic, which can be useful with regard to sealing the joint, for example.
The flexibility of the central region connecting the two profile strips enables the profile strips to move, at least to a limited extent, relative to one another.
Furthermore, the movement recording profile comprises a cover strip for covering the central area and thus in particular also for covering the joint, in which the central area can advantageously be inserted. It is preferred if the cover strip is arranged in such a way that it completely covers the central region, regardless of the relative position in which the two profile strips are currently within the scope of their mobility, in particular with respect to a viewing direction parallel to the joint from the outside in the joint.
As strips, the first and second profile strips and the cover strip in particular have an elongated structure with an at least substantially constant cross section. In the longitudinal direction perpendicular to the cross-sectional plane, the strips can extend over a length of a few meters, e.g. 2 m, and cut to length to match a desired length or lengthened by stringing together several profiles.
The cover strip is coupled or at least can be coupled to the first profile strip and to the second profile strip, it being possible in particular for a respective position of the cover strip to determine whether the coupling is currently present or not. A possible mobility of the cover strip between different positions is explained below. The movement recording profile is preferably designed so that the cover strip is not only coupled, but is always coupled, in the usual use with at least one of the two profile strips. The respective coupling serves in particular to hold the cover strip stably on the profile strip (s) and can be mechanical, for example.
According to the invention, however, it is provided that at least the coupling of the cover strip to the second profile strip is a magnetic coupling. In other words, the cover strip and the second profile strip are designed to to be magnetically coupled to one another, whereby this coupling does not necessarily have to be permanent.
The advantage of a magnetic coupling is in particular that it can offer a hold comparable to a mechanical coupling and at the same time is reversible in a simple manner, in particular can be released and closed again several times, essentially without wear. In addition, the magnetic coupling, in particular in the direction transverse to the direction of the effective attraction of the magnetic elements involved, can permit, in particular sliding, movement of the coupled elements. The magnetic coupling can be maintained to a certain extent. Therefore, the fact that the cover strip is magnetically coupled or can be coupled to the second profile strip makes it possible for the cover strip and the second profile strip to move relative to one another in order to compensate for relative movements of the components forming the joint, without the coupling being separated thereby , In this way, the cover strip can be coupled to both profile strips and always arranged to cover the central region, although the two profile strips also move relative to one another due to relative movements of the components.
The coupling (permanent coupling or connectivity) of the cover strip with the first profile strip can also be magnetic. In this respect, the cover strip can also be held purely magnetically on the two profile strips and can be placed on the profile strips that are movable relative to one another, so to speak, in a "floating" manner in a magnetically supported manner.
According to a preferred embodiment, however, the cover strip is mechanically coupled to the first profile strip, for example mechanically articulated on the first profile strip or mechanically firmly connected to the first profile strip in another way. Basically, the cover strip with the first profile strip can also be formed in one piece, the cover strip then preferably being formed by that section of this one-piece element which extends over the joint and in particular conceals the central region from the outside. In this way, at least a large part of the joint can advantageously not only be covered, but preferably also plastered over. Since it is sufficient for the movement compensation if one of the couplings of the cover strip with the two profile strips permits a corresponding movement, it is advantageous to design the other coupling mechanically in order to increase the overall safety and reliability of the arrangement of the cover strip on the profile strips. In contrast to two magnetic couplings, the cover strip, if at least one mechanical coupling is provided, cannot be completely detached from the profile strips.
For the magnetic coupling mentioned, the cover strip and the second profile strip can each have a magnetic element, so that the cover strip can be magnetically coupled or coupled to the second profile strip by the magnetic interaction of the two magnetic elements. The magnetic element of the second profile strip is, for example, a magnetic strip, ie a permanent magnet in strip form, the magnetic strip preferably extending over the entire longitudinal extent of the profile strip. As an alternative to a magnetic strip, a plurality of separate, preferably flat, permanent magnets can also be arranged, in particular regularly distributed, over the longitudinal extent of the profile strip. The magnetic element of the cover strip is, for example, a sheet steel strip or a strip of another magnetizable, in particular ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic, material which preferably extends over the entire longitudinal extent of the cover strip. Instead of a magnetizable strip, a magnetizable film can also be provided. The arrangement can also be reversed, so that the cover strip has the permanent magnetic magnetic element and the second profile strip has an at least magnetizable one Has magnetic element. Furthermore, a permanent magnetic magnetic element can also be provided both on the cover strip and on the second profile strip.
In principle, the respective magnetic element can also be integrated in the second profile strip and / or the cover strip. In particular, the cover strip can be formed from a material that can itself be magnetized. For example, the cover strip can comprise a hybrid material made of a plastic and magnetizable metal parts. If the second profile strip then has a permanent magnet as a magnetic element, this can directly attract the cover strip for the magnetic coupling.
It is further preferred if the magnetic element of the second profile strip and / or the magnetic element of the cover strip is / are encased. The casing can comprise, for example, a plastic as the material. In this way, corrosion protection for the magnetic elements can be achieved. The casing can in principle also be in the form of a coating, in particular a plastic coating. Alternatively, the casing can be used as a sheath, e.g. elongated sleeve, formed in which the respective magnetic element is received, e.g. is inserted.
The magnetic element of the second profile strip is preferably arranged on an extension of the second profile strip projecting beyond the central region. In this way, the cover strip can be supported more centrally and thus more stably than if the magnetic coupling takes place to the side of the central region.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the magnetic coupling between the cover strip and the second profile strip is such that the cover strip, when magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, can be moved relative to the second profile strip while maintaining the magnetic coupling.
In other words, the cover strip can be moved at least to a limited extent without the magnetic coupling being separated thereby. This can be achieved in particular by providing the magnetic coupling in a suitable manner in relation to a relative mobility of the two profile strips permitted by the flexible central region, so that the second profile strip is not only relative to the first profile strip, but also in a corresponding manner can move relative to the cover strip, in particular slide, and remains magnetically coupled to the cover strip.
The movement absorption profile can have a longitudinal extension which corresponds in particular to the respective longitudinal extensions of the two profile strips and the cover strip, the movement absorption profile being designed to be attached to the joint with the longitudinal extension oriented parallel to the joint. According to an advantageous embodiment, when the cover strip is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, it lies against the second profile strip along an interface which is aligned parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement-receiving profile. The cover strip does not have to be in direct contact with the second profile strip. However, the aforementioned magnetic elements of the cover strip and the second profile strip are preferably in direct contact with one another when the cover strip is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip. The cover strip and the profile strip can advantageously be displaced relative to one another along the said interface, in particular slide along one another. Therefore, the above-mentioned arrangement with alignment of the interface parallel to the longitudinal extent enables displacements of the second profile bar relative to the first profile bar and relative to the cover bar in the direction of the longitudinal extent. Such an embodiment is therefore particularly expedient if relative movements of the two components forming the joint in the direction parallel to the joint are to be expected.
According to a further advantageous embodiment, at least one of the profile strips has a contact surface which is designed to bear against one of the two components when the profile strip is fastened to the component, the cover strip, when magnetically coupled to the second profile strip, along one Border lies on the second profile bar, which is aligned parallel to this contact surface. With the contact surface, the respective profile strip lies against the respective component, in particular outside the joint. Both profile strips preferably each have such a contact surface, these contact surfaces preferably being aligned parallel to one another, in particular lying in one plane, so that the interface mentioned is then parallel to both contact surfaces. Such an alignment of the interface enables movements of the second profile strip relative to the first profile strip and to the cover strip, which movements take place parallel to the contact surface or surfaces. Such movements correspond in particular to relative movements of the components forming the joint toward or away from one another, by means of which the joint is narrowed or widened.
With regard to the greatest possible mobility, it is particularly preferred if the interface is aligned both parallel to the longitudinal extent of the movement absorption profile and also parallel to the contact surface (s) of the profile strips.
Both the profile strips and the cover strip can each have a surface that is designed to be plastered. It is particularly preferred that both a surface of the first profile strip and a surface of the second profile strip and a surface of the cover strip are designed to be plastered. The respective surfaces are preferably provided on a side of the respective strip which faces away from the respective components when the movement recording profile is mounted. In particular, the respective surface of a profile strip can be opposite to a respective contact surface this profile bar can be arranged with which the profile bar rests in the assembled state on the component. In order to be able to be plastered well, the respective surfaces in particular have an appropriately designed structure which offers good adhesion for plaster. For example, the surface of the cover strip can be provided with a plaster base tape, for example glued or coated. In addition, a pull-off edge for plastering can be formed on the cover strip, in particular on its end pointing in the direction of the second profile strip or on both sides.
Furthermore, it can be advantageous if the first profiled strip and the second profiled strip are not only connected to one another indirectly via the magnetic coupling of the cover strip to the second profiled strip and through the central region, but can also be coupled or coupled to one another in a further manner, in particular directly , wherein this further coupling is preferably magnetic. The two profile strips can be magnetically coupled in a similar or corresponding manner to that described above for the magnetic coupling of the cover strip to the second profile strip using various embodiments. In particular, one of the two profile strips can have a magnetic element, in particular a magnetic strip, and the other can have a magnetic element, in particular a sheet steel strip, through the magnetic interaction of which the two profile strips are magnetically coupled or can be coupled. The magnetic elements can be encased in each case, for example to protect against corrosion, in particular with a plastic. An interface between the profile strips, via which the magnetic coupling of the two profile strips takes place with one another, is preferably aligned parallel to a longitudinal extent of the movement absorption profile and / or parallel to one or more contact surfaces of the profile strips. It is further preferred if the two profile strips can be displaced relative to one another along the interface, in particular can slide along one another.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the cover strip is movable between a cover position in which it is magnetically coupled to the second profile strip and covers the central region, and an open position in which it is decoupled from the second profile strip, so that the central region is at least partially accessible , This mobility of the cover strip is preferably retained even when the motion recording profile is installed. In order to be movable in this way, the cover strip can, for example, be articulated or pivoted on the first profile strip. As an alternative or in addition to this, the cover strip itself can be deformable, in particular bendable, kinkable or foldable in a preferably defined manner. Basically, moving the cover strip into the open position reveals the central area completely, for example if the cover strip can be opened by 90 ° or more. However, it can also be provided that the open position differs from the cover position by a substantially smaller angle, for example of approximately 30 ° or less. Even then, the central area can still be sufficiently accessible between the cover strip and the second profile strip, for example in order to be able to remove foreign bodies that have penetrated into the joint or the central area, to carry out revision measures or to be able to lay lines in the joint.
In this context, it is further preferred that the cover strip has a longitudinal groove, in particular V-shaped in cross section, and bendable in the circumferential direction around a valley region of the longitudinal groove, in particular around the apex of the V-shape, between the covering position and the open position or foldable. Overlaps of these movement possibilities are also conceivable. The cross section is preferably essentially constant over the entire longitudinal extent of the cover strip. One of the two or both upper edges of the longitudinal groove, by means of which the longitudinal groove is delimited laterally, can protrude beyond the surface of the cover strip and thereby form trigger edges or at least limits for plastering the movement absorption profile. In particular, the surface of the cover strip between the longitudinal groove and the end of the cover strip pointing in the direction of the second profile strip can thus have a pull-off edge for plastering on both sides.
The cover strip can in particular be moved between the cover position and the open position by bending, kinking and / or folding. On the other hand, if the cover strip were articulated on the first profile strip or were simply bent open without the longitudinal groove being provided, the plaster provided could tear there or at least be loosened and damaged.
In order to simplify plastering, it is further preferred that the movement receiving profile comprises a wedge element which is designed to be inserted into the longitudinal groove in order to prevent plaster from penetrating into the longitudinal groove when the movement receiving profile is plastered. In addition, the wedge element inserted into the longitudinal groove can also block the cover strip, at least for assembly in the cover position. The wedge element preferably comprises a section that corresponds to the cross section of the longitudinal groove Has cross section, so that the longitudinal groove is at least substantially completely filled by the wedge element used.
Holding means can be provided, for example on the upper edges of the longitudinal groove and / or at corresponding points on the wedge element itself, in order to secure the inserted wedge element in the longitudinal groove against unintentional falling out. It can e.g. are constrictions made of soft PVC, which extend on both sides of the longitudinal groove along a line in the longitudinal direction and hold the wedge element used frictionally. The holding means are preferably designed in such a way that they cancel the gravitational forces acting on the wedge element, but can be overcome by hand, so that the wedge element can be removed from the longitudinal groove in a simple manner after plastering the movement absorption profile. For this purpose, an extension can be formed on the wedge element, on which the wedge element can be pulled out of the longitudinal groove.
According to a further advantageous embodiment, the central region has a profile section made of a flexible material, in particular comprising soft PCV, which is bent around its longitudinal extent in the circumferential direction, so that it has a U-shape in cross section. The cross section is preferably at least substantially constant over the entire longitudinal extent of the movement absorption profile. If the central region, in particular the aforementioned profile section of the central region, is inserted into the joint between the components to which the movement absorption profile is attached, the cross section of the profile section can also be deformed as a result of being inserted into the joint, it preferably being at least essentially one U shape maintains. The U-shape is in particular aligned such that its legs rest against another of the two profile strips or directly against another of the two components forming the joint and the open side of the U-shape faces the cover strip, from which it is covered , This way the interior the U-shape from the outside, in particular by moving the cover strip into said open position.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the central region with a coupling section protrudes in the direction of a longitudinal extension of the movement absorption profile over the profile strips and the cover strip and is designed to be coupled to the central region of a similar further movement absorption profile arranged adjacent to the movement absorption profile. The movement absorption profile is mounted parallel to the joint, in particular with its longitudinal extent. The coupling section can then protrude beyond the remaining movement absorption profile within the joint in order to interact with a further movement absorption profile adjacent in the direction of the longitudinal extent. In principle, the central region can have a respective coupling section on both sides. However, a coupling section is preferably only provided on one side. The coupling of the two movement recording profiles adjoining one another in the longitudinal direction can then take place in particular by inserting the coupling section of the central region of the one movement recording profile into an inner region of the central region, in particular an interior of a U-shape of a profile section of the central region, of the other movement recording profile. In this way, a continuous channel can be created across several movement recording profiles, each of which extends through the central region of the movement recording profiles.
On vertical surfaces, such as walls, expansion joints typically run vertically (although horizontal or inclined expansion joints are also generally possible). In such a case, the movement absorption profiles are preferably attached in such a way that the coupling section protrudes downward and can therefore be inserted from above into the central region of the movement absorption profile arranged below. This way moisture, which may flow through the channel formed in this way does not emerge at the seams, but is reliably guided into the next lower movement absorption profile.
According to an advantageous development, the coupling section has a U-shape in cross section, the legs of which shorten with increasing distance from the rest of the movement absorption profile. At the same time, the radius of the U-shape can be reduced, so that the coupling section tapers like a cone. However, this is not absolutely necessary. Because due to the flexibility of the central region, the coupling section with the shortening legs can also simply be bent into a corresponding conical shape. Due to the conically tapering shape of the coupling section, the coupling section can then be inserted into the U-shape of the profile section of the central region of the next similar movement recording profile.

While the profile strips 13, 15 and the

The

Deformed in this way, the

As a
In addition to this magnetic coupling of the

The surfaces of the
