Description
- Kunststoffrohr aus schraubenlinienförmig gewickeltem Kunststoffstreifen Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Rohr aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff, insbesondere ein Rohr mit einem Durchmesser von mehr als 200 mm bis zu 1 m und darüber. Bis jetzt werden solche Rohre in der Regel aus plattenförmigem Material zu einem Rohr gerollt und an der Stoß stelle verschweißt.
- Es sind auch Kunststoffrohre bereits bekannt, die aus schraubenlinienförmig gewickeltem Kunststoffstreifen bestehen. Bei diesen bekannten Kunststoffrohren werden die Stoßstellen der Windungen der Kunststoffstreifen miteinander ebenfalls durch Kunststoff verschweißt.
- Neu ist demgegenüber, daß die Stoßstelle der Windungen durch ein Metallband überdeckt ist, das mit dem Kunststoff verankert ist. Ein Rohr mit diesen Merlimalen läßt sich mit beträchtlich kleinerem Kostenaufwand herstellen als die erwähnten bekannten Rohre.
- Die erwähnte Verankerung kann dadurch geschaffen werden, daß man das Metallband mit Aussparungen versieht, die sich mit dem Kunststoff der Streifen ausfüllen.
- Man kann das Metallband auch mit Vorsprüngen (Abkantungen, Rippen oder durch Stanzen und Abbiegen erzeugten Zähnen) versehen, die in den Kunststoff eindringen.
- Nach einer Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist das an der Stoßstelle der Windungen mit einem Metallband überdeckte Kunststoffrohr in an sich bekannter Weise noch durch eine Umwicklung mit Polyesterharz und Glasseide verstärkt.
- In der Zeichnung sind Ausführungsbeispiele des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt. Es zeigt Fig. 1 die Art der Herstellung des neuen Kunststoffrohres und Fig. 2, 3 und 4 verschiedene Ausführungsformen der Stoß stelle der Windungen der Kunststoffstreifen.
- Ein Kunststoffstreifen 5 wird über einen Dorn 6 schraubenlinienförmig gewickelt, derart, daß die Windungen unmittelbar nebeneinanderzuliegen kommen. über die Stoßstelle der Windungen ist ein Metallband 7 gewickelt, das vor seinem Aufbringen auf das Kunststoffrohr eine Heizvorrichtung 8 durchläuft. Das Metallband 7 weist Vorsprünge verschiedener Art auf, die in den Kunststoff eindringen. Um dies zu sichern, wird das Mefallband auf eine Temperatur gebracht, die oberhalb des Schmelzpunktes des Kunststoffes liegt. Zweckmäßig wird auch der Kunststoffstreifen etwas erwärmt.
- Nach Fig. 2 hat das Metallband 7 dreieckförmige, durch Ausstanzen und Abkanten gebildete Vorsprünge. Außerdem sind die Ränder des Metallbandes 7 abgekantet.
- Zusätzlich zu den erwähnten Vorsprüngen nach Fig. 2 ist das Metallband nach Fig. 3 mit den Längsrippen 11 versehen, die ebenfalls in den Kunststoffstreifen 5 eindringen.
- Nach Fig. 4 ist das Metallband 7 bei 12 rechteckig und bei 13 kreisförmig gestanzt und nach unten ausgebogen, so daß in den Kunststoffstreifen ringförmige und längliche Vorsprünge eindringen. In die Aussparungen 9, 12, 13 des Metallbandes dringt der erwärmte Kunststoff ein und füllt sie aus. Dies trägt zur festen Verankerung der Verbindung bei.
- Nach Fig. 4 ist der Kunststoffstreifen an seinen Kanten klauenartig geformt, so daß sich eine Art Verzahnung der Stoßstelle ergibt.
Claims (4)
- PATENTANSPRUCHE: 1. Kunststoffrohr aus schraubenlinienförmig gewickeltem Kunststoffstreifen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Stoßstelle der Windungen (5) durch ein Metallband (7) überdeckt ist, das mit dem Kunststoff verankert ist.
- 2. Rohr nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Metallband (7) Aussparungen (9, 12, 13) hat, die mit Kunststoff der Streifen (5) ausgefüllt sind.
- 3. Rohr nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Metallband Vorsprünge (Abkantungen, Rippen oder durch Stanzen und Abbiegen erzeugte Zähne) aufweist, die in den Kunststoff eingedrungen sind.
- 4. Rohr nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es in an sich bekannter Weise durch eine Umwicklung mit Polyesterharz und Glasseide verstärkt ist.In Betracht gezogene Druckschriften: Französische Patentschrift Nr. 876 402; USA.-Patentschrift Nr. 2 225 026.
