Abstract

Περιγράφεται ένα διαδερμικό σύστημα χορήγησης αντισυλληπτικού (TCDS), για τον έλεγχο γονιμότητας για γυναίκες, το οποίο περιέχει μια στρώση φόδρας και μια γειτονική συγκολλητική πολυμερή μήτρα απορρόφησης, εντός της οποίας είναι διασπαρμένες οι ελάχιστες αποτελεσματικές ημερήσιες δόσεις ενός οιστρογόνου και μιας προγεστίνης και απελευθερώνονται για διαδερμική απορρόφηση. Σήμερον προτιμάται η χρήση συνθετικού οιστρογόνονου, αιθινυλ εστραδιόλης και της συνθετικής προγεστίνης λεβονοργεστρέλης. Μαζί με αυτούς τους δύο στεροειδείς παράγοντες αντισύλληψης ένας συνδυασμός χημικών παραγόντων ενίσχυσης διαπέρασης του δέρματος, συμπεριλαμβανομένου καπρικού οξέος, που έχουν αναμιχθεί σε ειδικές αναλογίες βάρους, που κυμαίνονται από 2,0:1:1:0,8 έως 6:1:1:0,8 έχουν διασπαρεί ομοιογενώς εντός της συγκολλητικής πολυμερούς μήτρας.
