Abstract
Μία διεργασία, και μία κατάλληλη συσκευή, για παραγωγή σωματιδίων ενός υλικού στην οποία ένα ρεύμα μίας διασποράς του υλικού σε ένα διαλύτη και ένα ρεύμα μίας αντιδιαλυτικής ουσίας συμπιεστού ρευστού αναμειγνύονται υπό συνθήκες τέτοιες ώστε η ουσία να είναι σε αντιδιαλυτική κατάσταση συμπιεστού ρευστού. Το μείγμα κατόπιν ρέει κατά μήκος ενός αγωγού (17) προς ένα στόμιο (18), από το οποίο ρέει σε μία κατάντι περιοχή στην οποία μία αντιδιαλυτική ουσία συμπιεστού ρευστού αποσυμπιέζεται και το υλικό απομονώνεται σε μία σωματιδιακή κατάσταση. Κατά προτίμηση η αντιδιαλυτική ουσία είναι ένα υπερκρίσιμο ρευστό. Η διεργασία και η συσκευή μπορούν να παράγουν ένα συμπαρασκεύασμα του υλικού με πρόσθετα τα οποία μπορούν να εισάγονται σε ένα κατάλληλο υδάτινο ή με βάση διαλύτη φέρον όχημα.
