Abstract

La presente invención proporciona procesos estereoselectivos para preparar compuestos de fórmula (I)dondeP es fenilo, naftilo, un grupo heteroarilo de 6 miembros que contiene uno o dos átomos de nitrógeno como miembros anulares, o un grupo heteroarilo bicíclico de 10 miembros que contiene uno o dos átomos de nitrógeno como miembros anulares, y donde los grupos fenilo, naftilo y heteroarilo están opcionalmente sustituidos;R1 es clorodifluorometilo o trifluorometilo;R2 es arilo opcionalmente sustituido o heteroarilo opcionalmente sustituido;n es 001;incluido el proceso que comprende(a-i) hacer reaccionar un compuesto de fórmula IIdonde P, R1 y R2 son como se han definido para el compuesto de fórmula I; con nitrometano en presencia de un catalizador quiral para obtener un compuesto de fórmula IIIdonde P, R1 y R2 son como se han definido para el compuesto de fórmula I; y (a-ii) ciclar reductivamente el compuesto de fórmula III para obtener el compuesto de fórmula I.La invención también proporciona intermedios útiles para procesos para la síntesis de compuestos de fórmula (I).
