Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种燃料组合物,包含主要量的含特定低级链烷醇的汽油燃料和次要量的选定汽油燃料添加剂。
汽油发动机的化油器和进气系统以及用于燃料计量的喷油系统受杂质的污染程度增加,这些杂质由来自空气的粉尘颗粒、来自燃烧室的未燃烧烃残余物以及导入化油器的曲轴箱排出气体引起。
这些残余物在空转时以及在较低部分负荷范围内使空气-燃料比发生偏移,从而使混合物贫含燃料、燃烧更不完全且进而使废气中未燃烧或部分燃烧烃的比例变得更高并且汽油消耗增加。
已知可以通过使用燃料添加剂来保持汽油发动机的阀和化油器或喷油系统清洁而防止这些缺点(参见例如M.Rossenbeck,Katalysatoren,Tenside,Mineralladditive[催化剂、表面活性剂、矿物油添加剂],J.Falbe编辑,U.Hasserodt,第223页,G.Thieme Verlag,Stuttgart 1978)。
此外,在更老设计的汽油发动机中,在用无铅汽油燃料操作时出现阀座磨损的问题。为了防止这一问题,已经开发了基于碱金属或碱土金属化合物的阀座磨损抑制添加剂。
为了毫无问题地使用,现代汽油发动机要求燃料具有复杂的性能特征,其仅能与合适的汽油燃料添加剂组合而得以确保。该类汽油燃料通常由化学化合物的复杂混合物组成且以物理量表征。然而,在已知燃料组合物中仍需在清洁作用和保持清洁作用以及阀座磨损抑制作用方面改进汽油燃料和合适的添加剂之间的相互影响。
本发明的目的是找到一种更有效的汽油燃料-汽油燃料添加剂组合物。具体而言,是要找到更有效的添加剂配方。
我们发现该目的由一种燃料组合物实现,该组合物包含主要量的最大硫含量为150重量ppm的汽油燃料和次要量的至少一种具有洗涤作用或具有阀座磨损抑制作用的汽油燃料添加剂,其中该汽油燃料添加剂具有至少一个数均分子量(MN)为85-20 000的疏水性烃基和至少一个极性部分,且其中该燃料组合物还含有约5-75体积%的至少一种低级链烷醇。
所述极性部分选自:
(a)具有至多6个氮原子的单-或多氨基,其中至少一个氮原子具有碱性性能,
(b)硝基,若合适的话与羟基组合,
(c)与其中至少一个氮原子具有碱性性能的单-或多氨基组合的羟基,
(d)羧基或其碱金属或碱土金属盐,
(e)磺酸基团或其碱金属或碱土金属盐,
(f)被羟基、其中至少一个氮原子具有碱性性能的单-或多氨基或氨基甲酸酯基团封端的聚氧化C2-C4烯,
(g)羧酸酯基团,
(h)衍生于琥珀酸酐且具有羟基和/或氨基和/或酰氨基和/或亚氨基的部分,和
(i)通过取代酚与醛和单-或多胺的曼尼希反应得到的部分。
按照本发明使用的链烷醇优选为直链或支化的饱和C1-C6单醇或二醇,尤其是C1-C3单链烷醇,如甲醇、乙醇、正丙醇、异丙醇或多种这些链烷醇的混合物。
链烷醇含量基于燃料组合物的总体积最大为75体积%,例如5-75体积%,优选10-65体积%,尤其是20-55体积%,例如30-40体积%或40-50体积%。
其他醇和醚在该汽油燃料中的含量通常较低。典型的最大含量为7体积%的叔丁醇、10体积%的异丁醇和15体积%的在分子中具有5个或更多个碳原子的醚类。
该汽油燃料的最大芳族化合物含量优选为40体积%,尤其是38体积%。优选的芳族化合物含量范围为20-42体积%,尤其是25-40体积%。
该汽油燃料的最大硫含量优选为100重量ppm,尤其是50重量ppm。优选的硫含量范围为0.5-150重量ppm,尤其是1-100重量ppm。
在优选的实施方案中,该汽油燃料的最大烯烃含量为21体积%,优选18体积%,尤其是10体积%。优选的烯烃含量范围为6-21体积%,尤其是7-18体积%。
在进一步优选的实施方案中,该汽油燃料的最大苯含量为1.0体积%,尤其是0.9体积%。优选的苯含量范围为0.5-1.0体积%,尤其是0.6-0.9体积%。
在进一步优选的实施方案中,该汽油燃料的氧含量最大为2.7重量%,优选0.1-2.7重量%,尤其是1.0-2.7重量%,特别是1.2-2.0重量%。
特别优选同时具有38体积%的最大芳族化合物含量、21体积%的最大烯烃含量、50重量ppm的最大硫含量、1.0体积%的最大苯含量和1.0-2.7重量%的氧含量的汽油燃料。
上述对于苯、芳族化合物和氧含量的所有体积百分数各自基于矿物汽油燃料组分的体积,即不含添加剂和链烷醇。
该汽油燃料的夏季蒸气压通常最大为70kPa,尤其是60kPa(各自在370℃下)。
该汽油燃料的研究法辛烷值(“RON”)通常为90-100。对应的马达法辛烷值(“MON”)的典型范围为80-90。
所提到的技术规格由常规方法(DIN EN 228)测定。
在该汽油燃料添加剂中的确保在燃料中具有足够溶解性的疏水性烃基的数均分子量(Mn)为85-20 000,尤其是113-10 000,特别是300-5 000。可以尤其与极性部分(a)、(c)、(h)和(i)结合使用的典型疏水性烃基是聚丙烯基、聚丁烯基和聚异丁烯基,其Mn各自为300-5 000,尤其是500-2 500,特别是750-2 250。
具有洗涤作用或具有阀座磨损抑制作用的各汽油燃料添加剂包括下列:
包含单-或多氨基(a)的添加剂优选为基于Mn=300-5000的聚丙烯或高反应性(即通常在α-和β-位置主要具有端双键)或常规(即主要具有内部双键)聚丁烯或聚异丁烯的聚链烯烃单胺或聚链烯烃多胺。该类基于高反应性聚异丁烯的添加剂可以通过加氢甲酰化和用氨、单胺或多胺如二甲氨基丙胺、乙二胺、二亚乙基三胺、三亚乙基四胺或四亚乙基五胺还原性胺化由可以包含至多20重量%正丁烯单元的聚异丁烯制备且尤其公开于EP-A 244616中。当在添加剂的制备中将主要具有内部双键(通常在β和γ位置)的聚丁烯或聚异丁烯用作原料时,可能的制备途径是氯化和随后胺化或用空气或臭氧氧化双键,得到羰基或羧基化合物并随后在还原性(氢化)条件下胺化。这里用于胺化的胺可以与上面用于还原性胺化加氢甲酰化的高反应性聚异丁烯的那些相同。基于聚丙烯的对应添加剂尤其描述于WO-A94/24231中。
含有单氨基(a)的其他优选添加剂是平均聚合度P=5-100的聚异丁烯与氮氧化物或氮氧化物和氧气的混合物的反应产物的氢化产物,尤其如WO-A 97/03946所述。
包含单氨基(a)的其他优选添加剂是可以通过与胺反应并随后使氨基醇脱水和还原而由聚异丁烯环氧化物得到的化合物,尤其如DE-A 196 20262所述。
包含合适的话与羟基组合的硝基(b)的添加剂优选为平均聚合度P=5-100或10-100的聚异丁烯与氮氧化物或氮氧化物和氧气的混合物的反应产物,尤其如WO-A 96/03367和WO-A 96/03479所述。这些反应产物通常为纯硝基聚异丁烷(例如α,β-二硝基聚异丁烷)的混合物和混合的羟基硝基聚异丁烷(例如α-硝基-β-羟基聚异丁烷)。
包含与单-或多氨基组合的羟基(c)的添加剂尤其是可由优选主要具有端双键且Mn为300-5000的聚异丁烯得到的聚异丁烯环氧化物与氨或单-或多胺的反应产物,尤其如EP-A 476485所述。
包含羧基或其碱金属或碱土金属盐(d)的添加剂优选为C2-C40烯烃与马来酸酐的共聚物,其总摩尔质量为500-20 000以及其羧基部分或全部被转化成碱金属或碱土金属盐且任何剩余的羧基已与醇或胺反应。该类添加剂尤其公开于EP-A 307 815。该类添加剂主要用于防止阀座磨损并且可以如WO-A 87/01126所述有利地与常规燃料洗涤剂如聚(异)丁烯胺或聚醚胺组合使用。
包含磺酸基团或其碱金属或碱土金属盐(e)的添加剂优选为磺基琥珀酸烷基酯的碱金属或碱土金属盐,尤其如EP-A 639 632所述。该类添加剂主要用于防止阀座磨损并且可以有利地与常规燃料洗涤剂如聚(异)丁烯胺或聚醚胺组合使用。
包含聚氧化C2-C4烯部分(f)的添加剂优选为聚醚或聚醚胺,其可以通过使C2-C60链烷醇、C6-C30链烷二醇、单-或二-C2-C30烷基胺、C1-C30烷基环己醇或C1-C30烷基酚与每个羟基或氨基为1-30mol的氧化乙烯和/或氧化丙烯和/或氧化丁烯反应且在聚醚胺的情况下通过随后用氨、单胺或多胺还原性胺化得到。该类产物尤其描述于EP-A 310875、EP-A 356725、EP-A700 985和US-A 4 877 416中。在聚醚的情况下,该类产物还具有载体油性能。这些的典型实例是十三烷醇丁氧基化物、异十三烷醇丁氧基化物、异壬基酚丁氧基化物、聚异丁烯醇丁氧基化物和丙氧基化物以及还有与氨的对应反应产物。
包含羧酸酯基团(g)的添加剂优选为单-、二-或三羧酸与长链链烷醇或多元醇的酯,尤其是在100℃下的最小粘度为2mm2/s的那些,尤其如DE-A38 38 918所述。所用单-、二-或三羧酸可以是脂族或芳族酸,尤其合适的酯醇或酯多元醇是例如具有6-24个碳原子的长链代表。酯的典型代表是异辛醇、异壬醇、异癸醇和异十三烷醇的己二酸酯、邻苯二甲酸酯、间苯二甲酸酯、对苯二甲酸酯和偏苯三酸酯。该类产物也具有载体油性能。
包含衍生于琥珀酸酐且具有羟基和/或氨基和/或酰氨基和/或亚氨基的部分(h)的添加剂优选为可以通过使Mn=300-5 000的常规或高反应性聚异丁烯与马来酸酐通过热途径或经由氯化聚异丁烯反应而得到的聚异丁烯基琥珀酸酐的对应衍生物。特别令人感兴趣的是与脂族多胺如乙二胺、二亚乙基三胺、三亚乙基四胺或四亚乙基五胺的衍生物。该类汽油燃料添加剂尤其描述于US-A 4 849 572中。
包含通过取代酚与醛和单-或多胺的曼尼希反应得到的部分(i)的添加剂优选为聚异丁烯取代的酚与甲醛和单-或多胺如乙二胺、二亚乙基三胺、三亚乙基四胺、四亚乙基五胺或二甲氨基丙胺的反应产物。聚异丁烯基取代的酚可以来自Mn=300-5 000的常规或高反应性聚异丁烯。该类“聚异丁烯-曼尼希碱”尤其描述于EP-A 831 141中。
对于各详述的汽油燃料添加剂的更为准确的定义,这里可以明确参照上述现有技术文献的公开内容。
本发明的燃料组合物可以额外包含其他常规组分和添加剂。这些主要包括没有显著洗涤作用的载体油,例如矿物载体油(基础油),尤其是粘度级别为“溶剂中性(SN)500-2 000”的那些,以及基于Mn=400-1800的烯烃聚合物的合成载体油,尤其是基于聚丁烯或聚异丁烯(氢化或未氢化)、聚-α-烯烃或聚(内烯烃)的合成载体油。
有用的溶剂或稀释剂(当提供添加剂包装体时)是脂族和芳族烃类,如溶剂石脑油。
其他常规添加剂是缓蚀剂,例如基于有机羧酸的铵盐的那些,所述盐倾向于形成膜,或用于非铁金属腐蚀保护的杂环芳族化合物;抗氧化剂或稳定剂,例如基于胺如对苯二胺、二环己基胺或其衍生物的那些或苯酚衍生物如2,4-二叔丁基苯酚或3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基丙酸;破乳剂;抗静电剂;茂金属如二茂铁或甲基环戊二烯基三羰基锰;润滑添加剂如某些脂肪酸、链烯基琥珀酸酯、双(羟基烷基)脂肪胺、羟基乙酰胺或蓖麻油以及标记剂。还任选添加胺以降低该燃料的pH。
还对本发明的燃料组合物有用的尤其是所述汽油燃料与具有极性部分(f)的汽油燃料添加剂和缓蚀剂和/或润滑添加剂的混合物的组合,所述润滑添加剂基于可以作为单体和/或二聚体存在的羧酸或脂肪酸。这类典型的混合物包含与所述缓蚀剂和/或润滑添加剂一起使用的聚异丁胺与链烷醇起始的聚醚如十三烷醇或异十三烷醇丁氧基化物或丙氧基化物的组合、聚异丁烯胺与链烷醇起始的聚醚胺如十三烷醇或异十三烷醇丁氧基化物-氨反应产物的组合以及链烷醇起始的聚醚胺如十三烷醇或异十三烷醇丁氧基化物反应产物与链烷醇起始的聚醚如十三烷醇或异十三烷醇丁氧基化物或丙氧基化物的组合。
将所述具有极性部分(a)-(i)的汽油燃料添加剂以及其他所述组分计量加入汽油燃料中并且在其中显示其作用。各组分和/或添加剂可以单独或作为事先制备的浓缩物(“添加剂包装体”)加入燃料中。
通常将所述具有极性部分(a)-(i)的汽油燃料添加剂以1-5 000重量ppm,尤其是5-3 000重量ppm,特别是10-1 000重量ppm的量加入汽油燃料中。若需要的话,以用于该目的的常规量添加其他所述组分和添加剂。
在本发明的燃料组合物中,惊人的是可以用明显更少的洗涤剂或阀座磨损抑制剂获得与不含低级链烷醇的相当燃料组合物相同的清洁作用或清洁保持作用,或阀座磨损抑制作用。此外,与常规燃料组合物相比,在本发明的燃料组合物中使用相同量的洗涤剂或阀座磨损抑制剂惊人地导致明显更好的清洁作用或清洁保持作用以及阀座磨损抑制作用。
此外,本发明的燃料组合物额外显示出如下优点:在汽油发动机的燃烧室中形成较少的沉积物且较少的添加剂经由燃料稀释夹带到机油中。
本发明进一步涉及:
i)低级链烷醇在低硫汽油燃料中改进如上所定义的具有洗涤作用或阀座磨损抑制作用的添加剂的作用的用途;
ii)一种通过将汽油燃料与有效量的低级醇混合而改进如上所定义的具有洗涤作用或阀座磨损抑制作用的添加剂在低硫汽油燃料中的添加剂作用的方法;
iii)低级醇和至少一种如上所定义的具有洗涤作用或阀座磨损抑制作用的添加剂的组合在减少燃烧室沉积物和/或减少汽油发动机的进气系统中的沉积物中的用途;
iv)低级醇和如上所定义的具有阀座磨损抑制作用的添加剂的组合作为汽油燃料用阀座磨损抑制剂的用途。
下列实施例用于说明本发明,而不限制本发明。
实施例:
所用汽油燃料添加剂是市售添加剂包装体,其包含60重量%洗涤添加剂聚异丁烯胺(Mn=1 000g/mol)和32重量%载体油(用22单元的氧化丁烯醚化的十三烷醇)。
所用汽油燃料是如下所列具有特定规格的那些,且GF 1(参数见表1)是典型的市售燃料。

性能研究
实施例4
研究根据实施例1-3的汽油燃料对进气阀沉积物(IVD)和总燃烧沉积物(TCD)的影响。这借助发动机试验进行,该试验在具有Mercedes-Benz发动机M102E的试验台架试验中根据CEC F-05-A-93进行。已添加添加剂和未添加添加剂的燃料的IVD值列于下表2中。
此外,在相同的试验序列中对四缸发动机的各缸测定了总燃烧沉积物(TCD)的量。具体的平均值同样列于表2中。为了测定TCD值,该程序类似于方法CEC F-20-A-98。

Claims (20)
1.一种燃料组合物,包含主要量的最大硫含量为150重量ppm的汽油燃料和次要量的至少一种具有洗涤作用或具有阀座磨损抑制作用的汽油燃料添加剂,其中该汽油燃料添加剂具有至少一个数均分子量(MN)为85-20 000的疏水性烃基和至少一个极性部分,且其中该燃料组合物还含有约5-75体积%的至少一种低级链烷醇。
2.根据权利要求1的燃料组合物,其中所述极性部分选自:
(a)具有至多6个氮原子的单-或多氨基,其中至少一个氮原子具有碱性性能,
(b)硝基,若合适的话与羟基组合,
(c)与其中至少一个氮原子具有碱性性能的单-或多氨基组合的羟基,
(d)羧基或其碱金属或碱土金属盐,
(e)磺酸基团或其碱金属或碱土金属盐,
(f)被羟基、其中至少一个氮原子具有碱性性能的单-或多氨基或氨基甲酸酯基团封端的聚氧化C2-C4烯,
(g)羧酸酯基团,
(h)衍生于琥珀酸酐且具有羟基和/或氨基和/或酰氨基和/或亚氨基的部分,和
(i)通过取代酚与醛和单-或多胺的曼尼希反应得到的部分。
3.根据权利要求2的燃料组合物,包含作为具有极性部分(a)的汽油燃料添加剂的基于Mn=300-5 000的聚丙烯、聚丁烯或聚异丁烯的聚链烯烃单胺或聚链烯烃多胺。
4.根据权利要求2的燃料组合物,包含作为具有极性部分(b)的汽油燃料添加剂的平均聚合度P=5-100的聚异丁烯与氮氧化物或氮氧化物和氧气的混合物的反应产物。
5.根据权利要求2的燃料组合物,包含作为具有极性部分(c)的汽油燃料添加剂的可由主要具有端双键且Mn=300-5 000的聚异丁烯得到的聚异丁烯环氧化物与氨或单-或多胺的反应产物。
6.根据权利要求2的燃料组合物,包含作为具有极性部分(d)的汽油燃料添加剂的C2-C40烯烃与马来酸酐的共聚物,其总摩尔质量为500-20 000以及其羧基部分或全部被转化成碱金属或碱土金属盐且任何剩余的羧基己与醇或胺反应。
7.根据权利要求2的燃料组合物,包含作为具有极性部分(e)的汽油燃料添加剂的磺基琥珀酸烷基酯的碱金属或碱土金属盐。
8.根据权利要求2的燃料组合物,包含作为具有极性部分(f)的汽油燃料添加剂的聚醚或聚醚胺,其可以通过使C2-C30链烷醇、C6-C60链烷二醇、单-或二-C2-C30烷基胺、C1-C30烷基环己醇或C1-C30烷基酚与每个羟基或氨基为1-30mol的氧化乙烯和/或氧化丙烯和/或氧化丁烯反应且在聚醚胺的情况下通过随后用氨、单胺或多胺还原性胺化得到。
9.根据权利要求2的燃料组合物,包含作为具有极性部分(g)的汽油燃料添加剂的单-、二-或三羧酸与长链链烷醇或多元醇的酯。
10.根据权利要求2的燃料组合物,包含作为具有极性部分(h)的汽油燃料添加剂的可以通过使Mn=300-5 000的常规或高反应性聚异丁烯与马来酸酐通过热途径或经由氯化聚异丁烯反应而得到的聚异丁烯基琥珀酸酐的衍生物。
11.根据权利要求2的燃料组合物,包含作为具有极性部分(i)的汽油燃料添加剂的聚异丁烯取代的酚与甲醛和单-或多胺的反应产物。

13.根据权利要求1-12中任一项的燃料组合物,包含最大苯含量基于未添加添加剂的不含低级链烷醇的汽油燃料的体积为1.0体积%的汽油燃料。
14.根据权利要求1-13中任一项的燃料组合物,包含最大氧含量基于未添加添加剂的不含低级链烷醇的汽油燃料的体积为2.7体积%的汽油燃料。
15.根据权利要求1-14中任一项的燃料组合物,包含最大芳族化合物含量基于未添加添加剂的不含低级链烷醇的汽油燃料的体积为42体积%的汽油燃料。
16.根据权利要求1-15中任一项的燃料组合物,包含1-5 000重量ppm的具有极性部分(a)-(i)的汽油燃料添加剂。
17.低级链烷醇在低硫汽油燃料中改进如权利要求1所定义的具有洗涤作用或具有阀座磨损抑制作用的添加剂的作用的用途。

20.低级醇和如权利要求1所定义的具有阀座磨损抑制作用的添加剂的组合作为汽油燃料用阀座磨损抑制剂的用途。
