Abstract
一种燃料箱装置,可以避免在发动机的燃料箱倾斜时,混有水、沉渣等杂质的残留燃料流入过滤室内,防止这些混入杂质被吸入化油器中。在燃料箱(10)的底壁(10a)设置收容凹部(12),用来容纳混有沉渣等的残留燃料。在收容凹部(12)上设置上面开有吸入口(15a)的过滤室(14),并与燃料排出管(18)连接。在过滤室(14)的外侧设置燃料流动通道(20),在过滤室前后外侧设置挡板(21、22),当燃料箱倾斜时将进入收容凹部(12)的燃料引导到燃料流动通道(20)中。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及安装在割草机等自行式作业机械上的发动机的燃料箱,特别是即使燃料箱在反复倾斜的情况下,也不会将混入在燃料中的水、沉渣等混入杂质供给到发动机的燃料供给装置的燃料箱装置。
背景技术
一种通常在自行式农用作业机械中使用的燃料箱装置已为众所周知(参照下述专利文献1),该燃料箱装置在燃料箱1的侧壁部,在距离底板3适当的高度处开设有燃料流入孔6,使固定在燃料箱1的底壁的最低部底板3上的输出管4在上述侧壁部与燃料箱1连通,从而使存留在底部的沉渣不会吸进到输出管4内。

然而,上述专利文献中的装置,即使输出管4的燃料流入孔6处于比底板3高的位置,也不能完全避免存留在燃料箱1底部的沉渣等通过输出管4的燃料流入孔6而被吸入到输出管4内。
因此,如下方案被提出,如图8、9所示,在燃料箱底板的一部分上形成下凹的、沉渣等的收容凹部,在该处设置上面开有吸入口的过滤室,该过滤室的底部连接有燃料排出管,将没有混入沉渣等的燃料过滤之后,通过燃料排出管从过滤室导入到发动机的燃料供给装置。
但是,上述方案中,在燃料箱底部的收容凹部的狭小空间上设置过滤室,在该过滤室的外侧,由于燃料几乎没有流动的空间,当燃料箱倾斜时,含有水、沉渣等混入杂质的燃料就会碰撞过滤室的端壁而飞溅,以致通过过滤室上面,此时,上述的混入杂质通过吸入口被吸入过滤室,与燃料一同流入化油器等燃料供给装置,会引起装置工作异常。
发明内容
本发明是根据目前的情况提出的,其目的在于提供一种新的燃料箱装置,当燃料箱倾斜时,使混有水、沉渣等物质的残留燃料一直在收容凹部内的燃料流动通道中流动,而不被吸入到过滤室。
为了达到上述目的,技术方案1的发明是一种燃料箱装置,在燃料箱底部的一部分上形成下凹的收容凹部12,用来容纳混有杂质的残留燃料,在该收容凹部12上,设置上面开有吸入口15a的过滤室14,在过滤室14的底部连接有排出过滤室14内燃料的燃料排出管18,其中,在上述收容凹部12上、在过滤室14的左右外侧,设置有容许燃料自由流动的燃料流动通道20,另外,在过滤室14的前后外侧,设置有挡板21、22,在燃料箱倾斜时该挡板21、22将在收容凹部12内流动的燃料引导到上述燃料流动通道20中。
本发明的效果是:根据技术方案1的发明,由于在过滤室左右外侧设置能使燃料自由流通的燃料流动通道,并且,在过滤室前后外侧设置了当燃料箱倾斜时引导收容凹部的燃料顺利流入燃料流动通道的挡板,所以能够避免燃料箱倾斜时混入了水、沉渣等杂质的残留燃料被吸入过滤室,从而,能够防止上述混入物质侵入化油器3等燃料供给装置。

具体实施方式
以下,根据附图所例举的本发明的实施例,对本发明的实施方式进行具体说明。
该实施例是将本发明的燃料箱应用于通用发动机的情况,该发动机用于驱动割草机等作业机械。图1是装有本发明燃料箱的通用发动机的侧面图。图2是沿图1的2-2线的燃料箱要部放大剖面图。图3是图2的3-3线剖面图。图4是图2的4-4线剖面图。图5是图2的5-5线剖面图。图6是图2的6-6线剖面图。
在图1中,通用发动机具有立式空冷四循环的发动机主体1,在该发动机主体1的上部配置了风扇罩2,用来覆盖向发动机主体1吹送冷却用风的风扇。在该风扇罩2的一侧,一体地设置有本发明所述的燃料箱装置T。在发动机主体1的一侧设置作为燃料供给装置的化油器3,该燃料供给装置用于向该发动机主体1供给燃料并进行控制,燃料箱装置T的燃料排出口与化油器3的入口之间利用燃料供给管4连接。在发动机主体1的下部垂直设置曲轴5,它与图中未表示的作业机械连接。隔着发动机主体1,在与燃料箱装置相反的一侧设置空气滤清器6。
下面参照图2~图6对本发明的燃料箱装置T的结构加以说明。
构成燃料箱装置T的主体部分燃料箱10由硬质的合成树脂制成,并沿着发动机主体1的一侧较长地形成,并且在其底壁10a的一部分沿着长度方向形成下凹的收容凹部12。当向燃料箱10供油时等,燃料中的水、沉渣等比重大于燃料的混入杂质沉淀积留在该收容凹部12中。
在收容凹部12的中央部,通过立设有与燃料箱10的底壁一体的壁体13,而形成箱状的过滤室14,在该过滤室14的开口上面焊接着过滤板15,该过滤板由不锈钢制的筛网板构成、具有许多吸入孔15a。在过滤室14的内面,设置多个纵肋16,通过这些纵肋16提高过滤室14的强度。在过滤室14长度方向的一个端壁的下部,一体地形成燃料排出管18,该燃料排出管18贯穿燃料箱10并向外部延伸,其外端与上述燃料供给管4(参照图1)连接。
如图3、4所示,在上述收容凹部12上、在过滤室14的左右外侧,沿前后方向形成对称的左右燃料流动通道20、20,该左右燃料流动通道20、20在收容凹部12的前后相互连通。并且,含有水、沉渣等混入杂质的残留燃料可绕过过滤室沿前后方向自由地在左右燃料流动通道20、20中流动。
如图2、5所示,在过滤室14的前方设置前挡板21,使其与过滤室14前端面相对,并与上述左右燃料流动通道20、20大致垂直。该前挡板21在收容凹部12的边界部位,从燃料箱10的底壁10a立起并与之形成一体。另外,在过滤室14后方设置后挡板22,使其与过滤室14后端面相对,并与上述左右燃料流动通道20、20大致垂直。该后挡板22从收容凹部12的底壁12a立起并与之形成一体。
以下对本实施例的作用加以说明。
在向燃料箱10供油时等,进入燃料箱10内的混有水、沉渣等混入杂质的残留燃料作为不供给使用的燃料,积留在燃料箱10的收容凹部12中。
现在,反复将燃料箱12向前后方向倾斜,如果由图7(A)所示向前方倾斜而改变为图7(B)所示的向后方倾斜,则存留于收容凹部12前侧的残留燃料向收容凹部12的后侧移动。此时,前挡板21避免流动着的燃料直接碰撞过滤室14的端壁而飞溅,能够引导燃料沿着左右燃料流动通道20、20绕流。并且,同样地如果燃料箱10从图7(B)所示的向后方倾斜变为图7(A)所示向前方倾斜,则存留于收容凹部12后侧的残留燃料向收容凹部12的前侧移动。此时,后挡板(22)避免流动着的燃料直接碰撞过滤室14的端壁而飞溅,能够引导燃料沿着左右燃料流动通道20、20绕流。因此,在燃料箱10向前后倾斜时,能够避免混入杂质的残留燃料直接碰撞过滤室14的端壁而飞溅,流过过滤室14的上面,从而,能够防止上述混入杂质经由过滤室14被吸入到化油器3中。
以上,对本发明的一个实施例进行了说明,但本发明不限定于该实施例,在本发明的技术范围内各种实施例均可以。
例如,在上述实例中对本发明燃料箱装置应用于作业机械的通用发动机的情况进行了说明,当然也可以将其应用于车辆等其它的发动机上。
Claims (1)
1、一种燃料箱装置,在燃料箱(10)的底壁(10a)一部分上形成下凹的收容凹部(12),用来容纳混有杂质的残留燃料,在该收容凹部(12)上,设置上面开有吸入口(15a)的过滤室(14),在过滤室(14)的底部连接有排出过滤室(14)内燃料的燃料排出管(18),
其特征在于,在上述收容凹部(12)上、在过滤室(14)的左右外侧,设置有容许燃料自由流动的燃料流动通道(20),并且,在过滤室(14)的前后外侧,设置有挡板(21、22),在燃料箱倾斜时该挡板(21、22)将在收容凹部(12)内流动的燃料引导到上述燃料流动通道(20)中。
