Abstract

一种车辆灯具用灯体,其由可与PC制透镜熔敷结合、代替PP的新型材料构成。车辆灯具用灯体(10)由PC/PTT合金材料构成,该合金材料中聚碳酸酯树脂和聚三亚甲基对苯二甲酸脂树脂的重量配合比为:聚碳酸酯树脂(以下称为PC)80~50%、聚三亚甲基对苯二甲酸酯树脂(以下称为PTT)20~50%,并相对PC和PTT的总重量添加5~10%重量份的填充材料的。因为由PC/PTT合金材料构成的灯体(10)可与PC制的透镜(12)热熔敷结合,并具有与PP制的灯体相同程度的耐热性、耐化学性以及弯曲刚性,所以可用热熔敷结合加工方法将透镜(12)和灯体(10)接合并一体化,并可解决采用现有的热融加工方法而产生的种种问题。

车辆灯具用灯体及车辆用灯具
技术领域
本发明涉及一种车辆灯具用灯体,特别涉及可与聚碳酸酯树脂(以下称为PC)制的透镜热熔敷结合的新型树脂合金材料制的车辆灯具用灯体。
背景技术
机动车用前照灯的透镜由于要求其透明且强度、耐热性好,一般用PC制造,而前照灯的灯体一般用耐热性及耐化学性优良且韧性好、价格便宜的聚丙烯树脂(以下称为PP)制造。
但是,因为PP不具有极性,所以与其他树脂制品(例如PC制透镜)的粘合性和熔敷性差,难以将PP制灯体与PC制透镜相粘合或热熔敷。因此,以往,作为将二者组装固定的方法采用了热融加工方法,其在灯体前面开口部的周缘部形成可卡合透镜侧的密封脚的密封槽,在装填了加热熔化物的密封槽内插入密封脚,并用夹子、凹凸切口卡合(凹凸ランス係合)以及螺钉等机械结合装置固定保持两者间的卡合部来密封。
然而,上述热融加工法因为将密封槽设置在灯体上,有损密封槽外观,特别是灯体(密封槽)的形状为三维的复杂形状时,存在加热熔化物沿密封槽厚度不均,不能充分防水的问题,所以希望开发可与PC制的透镜热熔敷结合的代替PP的新型灯体材料。
因此,发明者考虑到为与PC制透镜热熔敷结合可以由具有极性的结晶性聚酯树脂构成灯体,并着眼于PC和聚对苯二甲酸丁二酸酯树脂(以下称为PBTP)的合金材料(以下称为PC/PBTP合金材料)、PC和聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(以下称为PETP)的合金材料(以下称为PC/PETP合金材料)以及PC和聚三亚甲基对苯二甲酸脂树脂(以下称为PTT)的合金材料(以下称为PC/PTT合金材料)的三种结晶性聚酯树脂。
并且,反复进行试验和研究的结果,确认上述三种结晶性聚酯树脂中,因为PC/PTT合金材料与PC的粘合性及耐化学性最佳,且具有与PP同程度的物理性能,所以本发明以此作为申请。
发明内容
本发明是鉴于上述现有问题和上述发明者的见解而开发的,其目的在于提供一种由可与PC制透镜热熔敷结合的、代替PP的新型材料构成的车辆灯具用灯体及具有该灯体的车辆用灯具。
为实现上述目的,在本发明第一方面的车辆灯具用灯体中,用以PC和PTT为主要成分的树脂合金材料(PC/PTT合金材料)构成灯体。
具体来说,如本发明第二方面所述,上述树脂合金材料(PC/PTT合金材料)中PC和PTT的重量配合比优选:PC80~50%,PTT20~50%。并且,优选相对PC和PTT总重量添加5~10%重量份的填充材料。
(作用)由PC/PTT合金材料构成的灯体可与PC制的透镜热熔敷结合,具有与PP制的灯具同等程度的耐热性和耐化学性。
并且,构成PC/PTT合金材料的PC的配合比影响耐化学性,PC的重量配合比过多(超过80%)时,耐化学试验中在低负荷下易产生裂纹,耐化学性差。而PC的重量配合比过小(小于50%)时,难以热熔融,熔敷性差。
另外,构成PC/PTT合金材料的PTT的配合比影响与PC的熔敷性,PTT的重量配合比过多(超过50%)时,PC/PTT合金材料的熔融温度过高,不能与PC制的透镜很好地熔敷。而PTT的重量配合比过小(未达到20%)时,耐化学性降低,在熔敷部分产生裂纹,熔敷部分的防水性差。
另外,通过在PC/PTT合金材料中添加滑石、云母以及碳酸钙等填充材料,可提高PC/PTT合金材料的弯曲刚性,但若添加的填充材料相对PC和PTT总重量超过10%重量份时,虽可提高弯曲弹性模量,但耐冲击强度会显著下降。另一方面,若添加的填充材料相对PC和PTT的总重量不足5%重量份,则有可能弯曲弹性模量过低,灯体的耐用性劣化。
本发明第三方面的车辆用灯具,具有前面侧开口的本发明第一方面所述的灯体、覆盖上述灯体的前面开口部的由聚碳酸脂树脂构成的前面透镜,热熔敷结合上述灯体的前面开口部的周缘部和上述前面透镜的周缘部的结合部。
(作用)通过例如热板熔敷、振动(包括超声波振动)熔敷以及激光熔敷等熔敷加工法可简单地将由PC/PTT合金材料构成的灯体和前面透镜(例如PC制透镜)的结合部熔敷而形成一体。
本发明第四方面,在本发明第三方面的车辆用灯具中,用在上述灯体的前面开口部外侧整周设置的凸缘部和在上述前面透镜周缘整周设置的密封脚的前端部构成上述结合部,使上述凸缘部相对与上述密封脚正交的方向向后方倾斜延伸,并由激光熔敷加工法热熔敷结合上述结合部。
(作用)对凸缘部和密封脚的前端部的结合部照射激光而将该结合部进行激光熔敷时,相对密封脚倾斜地射入的激光被大致垂直地照射在凸缘部的密封脚前端部接触面上,所以射入激光几乎全部转变为热能。
根据本发明第一方面,作为将透镜和灯体间接合固定的方法,可采用热熔敷结合加工法代替热融法,所以具有如下的效果。
因为只要结合并热熔敷结合透镜侧的密封脚和灯体侧的周缘部就可简单并可靠地密封固定二者的结合部,所以透镜和灯体间的组装工序变得简单。特别是在灯体的形状是三维的复杂形状时也能够可靠地密封透镜和灯体间的结合部(接合部),故在防水性方面没有问题。
另外,可完全省去现有的热融加工方法中不可缺的密封槽和加热熔化物、夹子、凹凸切口卡合以及螺钉等机械结合装置,这样构成的灯具结构简单并具有良好的灯具外观。
根据本发明第二方面,因为可确保具有与PP制灯体相同程度的耐热性、耐化学性以及弯曲刚性,所以可提供与具有PP制灯体的灯具同样耐用性优良的灯具。
根据本发明第三方面,可提供能与主要在前照灯中广泛使用的PC制透镜热熔敷结合、价格便宜且设计性好的车辆用灯具。
根据本发明第四方面,因为激光照射光大致垂直地射入凸缘部的密封脚部接触面,所以转换热能的效率好,可在短时间内进行热熔敷结合。

具体实施方式
下面参照表示本发明实施例的附图说明适合本发明的实施方式。
图1~4表示发明的第一实施例,图1是应用了本发明的机动车用前照灯的纵剖面图;图2是透镜和灯体之间的结合部的放大剖面图;图3是表示透镜和灯体之间的激光熔敷工序的图;图4是表示本发明第一实施例的PC/PTT合金材料的配合比及物理性能与第一及第二比较例相比较的图。
在图1中,标记10是前面开口的容器状灯体,其凸缘部11绕一周设置在灯体10的前面开口部外侧。并且,密封脚13绕一周设置在作为前面透镜的透镜罩12的周缘,通过将该密封脚13热熔敷结合在上述凸缘部11上,将透镜罩12接合固定在灯体10上。即,在灯体10的前面开口部上以覆盖该开口部的方式接合固定有透镜罩12,形成了机动车用前照灯的灯室S。
标记16是反射镜,其放置在灯室S内并将作为光源的H4灯泡14插入安装而成为一体化,可通过未图示的对光机构在上下左右方向上倾动调节其光轴L。标记16a是设置在反射镜16上的有效反射面。标记15是一体地设置在灯泡14的灯座14a上的焦点环,通过设置在反射镜16的灯泡插入安装孔17上的丝簧19,将焦点环15卡合在灯泡插入安装孔17上而固定保持。标记20是安装在灯体10的灯泡更换用开口部10a和灯泡14的灯座1 4a之间的防水用的橡胶罩;标记22是与灯泡的灯座14a的后端部连接的供电线连接用的连接器;标记24是遮盖反射镜16和灯体10之间的间隙的延长反射镜。
另外,如上所述,构成前照灯的透镜罩12和灯体10之间通过用目前未采用的激光熔敷等热熔敷结合加工方法(参照图2、3)将透镜罩12(的密封脚13)和灯体10(的凸缘部11)的结合部熔敷并形成一体,从而密封固定。
即,透镜罩12由透明的PC材料构成,而灯体10由可与PC材料热熔敷结合的、带黑色的PC/PTT合金材料(作为颜料而含有碳黑的PC/PTT合金材料)构成。并且,如图2放大所示,热熔敷结合用的激光(例如,波长808nm)介由透明的透镜罩12照射密封脚13和灯体10侧的凸缘部11的结合部,将该结合部热熔敷结合。
图3表示密封脚13和凸缘部11的结合部的熔敷工序。首先,如图2及图3(a)所示,若激光照射光透过由PC材料构成的透明透镜罩12(密封脚13)到达结合部11、13a的界面,则如图3(b)所示,在凸缘部11上PC/PTT合金材料中含有的碳黑吸收激光,使其表层部发热。然后,如图3(c)所示,使凸缘部11的表层部熔融,同时凸缘部11的熔融部的热量传至密封脚前端部13a。因此,如图3(d)所示,密封脚前端部13a也熔融,结合部11、13a被热熔敷结合。图3(d)中标记X表示熔敷部。
另外,在实际的热熔敷结合工序中,通过使设置在图2左上方的未图示的激光照射部一边照射激光一边沿凸缘部11延伸的灯体10的前面开口部的周向行进并绕一周转至起始位置,可由连续的环状熔敷部X可靠并简单将包围灯体10的前面开口部的凸缘部11和密封脚前端部13a的结合部密封。
并且,在本实施例中,如图2所示,整周设置在灯体10的前面开口部周缘的凸缘部11相对与密封脚的延伸方向A垂直的方向B向后方倾斜θ而延伸形成。而透镜罩12的密封脚的前端部(端面)13a也由仿照凸缘部11的倾斜θ的倾斜面构成,从而对密封脚13倾斜射入的热熔敷结合用激光从正对两结合部11、13a的界面的方向射入,所以熔敷效率非常高。
如图4的实施例1所示,构成灯体10的PC/PTT合金材料的重量配合比为:PC占70%、PTT占30%,并相对PC和PTT总重量添加4%重量份的橡胶和0.4%重量份的热稳定剂。
另一方面,比较例1是作为结晶聚酯树脂的PC/PBTP合金材料,其重量配合比为:PC占70%、PBTP占30%,并相对PC和PBTP总重量添加4%重量份的橡胶和0.4%重量份的热稳定剂。
另外,比较例2是作为结晶聚酯树脂的PC/PETP合金材料,其重量配合比为:PC占70%、PETP占30%,并相对PC和PETP总重量添加4%重量份的橡胶和0.4%重量份的热稳定剂。
并且,作为PC/PTT合金材料的物理性能,首先其弯曲弹性模量为2119MPa,虽然比一般作为现有的灯体材料而使用的PP材料的弯曲弹性模量差,但具有与比较例1、2相同或比其高的弯曲弹性模量。
另外,对PC/PTT合金材料相对低荷重的挠曲变形温度与比较例1、2相同或为比其高的137℃,比PP材料的目标值(130℃)高,耐热性好。
并且,耐汽油性在3000秒以上,比比较例1、2要好,并且比PP材料的目标值(1100秒以上)高很多,耐汽油性优良。
另外,耐CPC性在3600秒以上,与比较例1、2相同或比其高,与PP材料的目标值(3600秒)以上相等。
耐酒精性与PP材料的目标值(3600秒以上)及比较例1、2的数值相同,具有与PP材料及标准例1、2相同程度的耐酒精性。
进而,关于与PC材料的熔敷性,因为可在220℃熔敷,所以与PC材料的熔敷性优良,除图2、3所示的激光熔敷之外,通过热板熔敷、振动(包括超声波振动)熔敷等规定热熔敷结合加工法,可将PC制的透镜罩12与PC/PTT合金材料制的灯体10熔敷。另一方面,虽然比较例1在220℃可与PC材料熔敷,但比较例2和PP材料在220℃不能与PC材料熔敷,与实施例1相比熔敷性差。
图5是表示本发明第二、第三以及第四实施例的PC/PTT合金材料各自的配合比和物理性能的图。
第二实施例的构成灯体10的PC/PTT合金材料的重量配合比为:PC占70%、PTT占30%、并相对PC和PTT总重量添加4%重量份的橡胶、0.4%重量份的热稳定剂、以及5%重量份的填充材料(滑石)。
并且,作为第二实施例的PC/PTT合金材料的物理性能,弯曲弹性模量为2510MPa,比第一实施例的PC/PTT合金材料的弯曲弹性模量2119MPa高,弯曲刚性更力口优良。
另外,对低荷重的挠曲变形温度为136℃,比PP材料的目标值130℃以上高,耐热性好。
并且,耐汽油性在3600秒以上,比PP材料的目标值1100秒以上高很多,耐汽油性优良。另外,耐CPC性及耐酒精性都与PP材料的目标值相同,在3600秒以上,具有与PP材料相同程度的耐CPC性及耐酒精性。
进而,因为在220℃可与PC材料熔敷,所以与PC材料的熔敷性也优良,通过激光熔敷、热板熔敷、振动(包括超声波振动)熔敷等规定热熔敷结合方法,可将PC制透镜罩12和PC/PTT合金材料制灯体10熔敷。
另外,构成第三实施例的灯体10的PC/PTT合金材料的重量配合比为:PC占70%、PTT占30%,并相对PC和PTT总重量添加4%重量份的橡胶、0.4%重量份的热稳定剂和10%重量份的填充材料(滑石)。即,与第二实施例相比填充材料(滑石)的添加量更大。
并且,作为第三实施例的PC/PTT合金材料的物理性能,弯曲弹性模量为3024MPa,比第二实施例的PC/PTT合金材料的弯曲弹性模量高,弯曲刚性更加优良。
另外,对低荷重的挠曲变形温度为138℃,比PP材料的目标值130℃以上高,耐热性优良。
并且,耐汽油性在2548秒以上,比PP材料的目标值(1100秒以上)高,耐汽油性优良。
耐CPC性及耐酒精性都与PP材料的目标值相同,在3600秒以上,具有与PP材料相同程度的耐CPC性和耐酒精性。
进而,因为在220℃可与PC材料熔敷,故与PC材料的熔敷性优良,通过激光熔敷、热板熔敷、振动(包括超声波振动)熔敷等规定热熔敷结合方法,可将PC制透镜罩12和PC/PTT合金材料制灯体10熔敷。
另外,构成第四实施例的灯体10的PC/PTT合金材料的重量配合比为:PC占70%、PTT占30%,相对PC和PTT总重量添加0.4%重量份的热稳定剂和10%重量份的填充材料(滑石)。即,仅在不添加橡胶这一点上与第三
实施例不同。
并且,作为第四实施例的PC/PTT合金材料的物理性能,弯曲弹性模量为3081MPa,在实施例中弯曲刚性最好。
另外,对低荷重的挠曲变形温度为133℃,虽然比第一至第三实施例低,但比PP材料的目标值130℃以上高,耐热性优良。
并且,耐汽油性在1659秒以上,虽然在实施例中最低,但比PP材料的目标值(1100秒以上)高,耐汽油性优良。
耐CPC性及耐酒精性都与PP材料的目标值相同,在3600秒以上,具有与PP材料相同程度的耐CPC性和耐酒精性。
进而,因为在220℃可与PC材料熔敷,故与PC材料的熔敷性优良,通过激光熔敷、热板熔敷、振动(包括超声波振动)熔敷等规定热熔敷结合方法,可将PC制透镜罩12和PC/PTT合金材料制灯体10熔敷。
另外,在上述第二、第三、第四实施例中,作为在PC/PTT合金材料中含有的填充材料使用了滑石,但不限于滑石,也可使用云母和碳酸钙。并且,填充材料不限于一种,也可以为滑石、云母、碳酸钙中至少两种以上。
并且,因为填充材料能有效提高PC/PTT合金材料的弯曲弹性模量,所以通过调整填充材料的添加量,可得到对应需要的弯曲弹性模量的PC/PTT合金材料(灯体)。
另外,在上述实施例中,说明了将本发明应用于机动车用前照灯的实施例,但也可广泛应用于通过熔敷将丙稀基树脂制的透镜和PC/PTT合金材料制灯体接合并形成一体的标识灯及其他灯具。

Claims (4)

1.一种车辆灯具用灯体,其特征在于,其由以聚碳酸脂树脂和聚三亚甲基对苯二甲酸脂树脂为主要成分的树脂合金材料构成。
2.如权利要求1所述的车辆灯具用灯体,其特征在于,所述树脂合金材料中聚碳酸脂树脂和聚三亚甲基对苯二甲酸脂树脂的重量配合比为:聚碳酸脂树脂80~50%,聚三亚甲基对苯二甲酸脂树脂20~50%,并相对聚碳酸脂和聚三亚甲基对苯二甲酸脂树脂的总重量添加5~10%重量份的填充材料。
3.一种车辆用灯具,其特征在于,其具有前面侧开口的如权利要求1所述的灯体、覆盖所述灯体的前面开口部的由聚碳酸脂树脂构成的前面透镜,热熔敷结合所述灯体的前面开口部的周缘部和所述前面透镜的周缘部的结合部。
4.一种车辆用灯具,其特征在于,所述结合部由绕一周设置在所述灯体的前面开口部外侧的凸缘部和绕一周设置在所述前面透镜周缘的密封脚的前端部构成,所述凸缘部相对与所述密封脚正交的方向向后方倾斜延伸,所述结合部由激光熔敷法热熔敷结合。
