本发明涉及用于制备羧酸盐的基于铜的催化剂。
WO-A1-94/24091公开了通过铜和锆的盐与铬、钛、铌、钽、钒、钼、镁、钨、钴、镍、铋、锡、锑、铅和锗的盐共沉淀来制备氨基羧酸盐的催化剂。
但是,这些催化剂仍有一些需要解决的问题。
本发明的目的是提供用于制备羧酸盐的改进的催化剂。
我们已经发现该目的通过用于从醇制备羧酸盐的改进的新型催化剂来实现,该催化剂是
a)由铜组成,或者
b)含有99.9-10重量%的铜和0.01-90重量%的铁和0-50重量%的一种或多种其它金属,
和该催化剂可以任选被掺杂,其特征在于通过铜盐溶液用碱进行沉淀或通过任选含有其它金属盐的铜和铁盐溶液用碱进行共沉淀获得了氢氧化物,和该氢氧化物用氢气还原。
根据本发明的催化剂可以如下获得:铜盐溶液可以用碱进行沉淀,或者铜盐溶液和铁盐溶液和任选地其它金属溶液的混合物可以用碱进行共沉淀,沉淀以间歇或连续方式进行,碱的pH范围是7-14,温度是5-100℃,优选15-90℃,更优选20-85℃,压力是0.1-5巴,优选大气压,沉淀或共沉淀产物、通常是相应的氢氧化物可以例如用水洗涤,于50-250℃干燥,任选地于300-700℃煅烧,然后于150-300℃在氢气流中还原。但是,还原也可以在煅烧之前进行,和如果需要的话,煅烧可以重复进行。
铜或铜/铁催化剂可以在共沉淀之后或在随后的干燥之后或在煅烧之后通过浸渍、化学沉积、电化学沉积、CVD(化学气相沉积)或溅射来掺杂,优选通过浸渍或化学沉积进行,更优选浸渍。有用的用于掺杂的元素包括称为“其它金属”的那些,它们可以以可溶性盐的形式或作为金属本身施用。当使用盐时,随后的煅烧通常用于固定。掺杂剂的用量可以在宽范围内变化,但通常是0.001-5重量%,优选0.005-3重量%,更优选0.01-2重量%,特别是0.02-1重量%。

有用的铁盐通常包括所有优选水溶性的无机盐和有机盐,例如硝酸铁、氯化铁、硫酸铁、六氰基高铁酸铁、碳酸铁、碳酸氢铁、硫酸氢铁、乙酰丙酮酸铁和乙酸铁,优选硝酸铁、氯化铁和乙酸铁,更优选硝酸铁和氯化铁。
有用的其它金属的盐通常包括所有优选水溶性的无机盐和有机盐,例如硝酸盐、卤化物、硫酸盐、氰化物、氢氧化物、碳酸盐、碳酸氢盐、硫酸氢盐、乙酰丙酮酸盐和乙酸盐,优选硝酸盐、卤化物、硫酸盐、碳酸盐、碳酸氢盐和乙酸盐,更优选硝酸盐、卤化物、碳酸盐和乙酸盐。
根据原料的来源,铜催化剂可以含有杂质。通常不进行提纯。
铜/铁催化剂含有99.9-10重量%、优选95-20重量%、更优选90-30重量%的铜,0.01-90重量%、优选3-75重量%、更优选5-60重量%的铁,和0-50重量%、优选0.1-35重量%、更优选0.5-25重量%的一种或多种其它金属,即1-8种、优选1-5种、更优选1-3种和特别是一种或两种其它金属。
更优选的是这样的催化剂,它含有铜以及1-90重量%的铁,使用pH为10-11.5的NaOH于50-80℃沉淀,于180-220℃干燥,于450-550℃煅烧,并用氢气于200-300℃还原。在使用氢气还原之后,这些催化剂含有0-35重量%的氧化铜(II)和/或氧化铜(I)。一个具体的实施方案使用铝含量小于4重量%、优选3.99-0重量%、更优选3.99-1重量%和特别是3.99-2重量%的催化剂。另一个具体实施方案涉及制备不含锆的催化剂。
优选使用本发明的催化剂从醇制备羧酸盐,其中在使用氢气还原之前,该催化剂具有1-75nm、更优选2-50nm的CuO晶体尺寸。
根据本发明的从醇制备羧酸盐的方法可以如下进行:
可以向压力容器例如高压釜、管式反应器、循环反应器或搅拌釜组中按照任何所需的顺序加入醇、碱、水和催化剂。碱优选在添加之前溶解在水中。优选先加入催化剂,然后与碱水溶液独立地加入醇,或醇与碱水溶液一起加入。将密闭的压力容器加热到120-280℃,优选140-240℃,更优选150-220℃,使得产生自生压力,该压力可以在需要时升高。该反应在从水的蒸汽压至75巴的范围内的压力下进行,优选2-50巴,更优选3-30巴,特别是4-15巴。在生产方法的一个具体实施方案中,反应混合物含有小于4000ppm、优选3999-0ppm、更优选3999-1000ppm、特别是3999-2000ppm的铝离子。
有用的醇包括乙二醇(衍生物)例如乙二醇低聚物或聚乙二醇,和氨基醇类,例如乙醇胺、二乙醇胺、三乙醇胺、N,N-二(2-羟乙基)异丙胺或四(羟乙基)1,2-丙二胺。特别有用的醇具有通式R-CH2CH2OH(I)。
在通式(I)的醇中,R、R1和R2具有以下含义:

R1和R2各自独立地是:
-氢,
-苯基,
--CH2CH2OH,
-C1-C20烷基,优选C1-C8烷基,更优选C1-C4烷基,例如甲基、乙基、正丙基、异丙基、正丁基、异丁基、仲丁基和叔丁基,特别是甲基和乙基,
-C2-C5二烷基氨基,例如二甲基氨基、乙基甲基氨基、二乙基氨基、乙基正丙基氨基、乙基异丙基氨基、甲基正丙基氨基、甲基异丙基氨基、甲基正丁基氨基、甲基异丁基氨基、甲基仲丁基氨基和甲基叔丁基氨基,优选二甲基氨基、乙基甲基氨基、二乙基氨基、乙基正丙基氨基、乙基异丙基氨基、甲基正丙基氨基和甲基异丙基氨基,更优选二甲基氨基、乙基甲基氨基、二乙基氨基和乙基正丙基氨基。
氨基羧酸及其盐(I)是用于螯合剂的有用中间体,例如在洗涤剂、药物、农用化学品例如杀虫剂、以及食品和饲料添加剂中。从乙二醇(衍生物)制备的含氧羧酸及其盐(I)是用于例如洗涤剂的有用中间体。
实施例
发明实施例1
将593g碳酸钠的2.5L水溶液于70℃在20分钟内在搅拌下连续加入1536.3g硝酸铜的pH为7(添加HNO3)的2.5L水溶液中。于70℃连续搅拌30分钟后,过滤并洗涤出总共100L水,于200℃干燥4小时,用氢气于230℃还原4小时。
所获得的催化剂含有96.5重量%的铜和3.5重量%的赤铜矿(cupritgehalt)。在使用氢气还原之前的CuO晶体尺寸是25nm。
发明实施例2
将948.8g碳酸钠的4L水溶液于70℃在35分钟内在搅拌下连续加入1536.3g硝酸铜的pH为9(添加HNO3)的2.5L水溶液中。于70℃连续搅拌30分钟后,过滤并洗涤出总共100L水,于200℃干燥4小时,用氢气于230℃还原4小时。
所获得的催化剂含有97重量%的铜和3重量%的赤铜矿。在使用氢气还原之前的CuO晶体尺寸是28nm。
发明实施例3
将660g氢氧化钠的2L水溶液于70℃在20分钟内在搅拌下连续加入1536.3g硝酸铜的pH为11(添加HNO3)的2.5L水溶液中。于70℃连续搅拌30分钟后,过滤并洗涤出总共100L水,于200℃干燥4小时,用氢气于230℃还原4小时。
所获得的催化剂含有92重量%的铜和8重量%的赤铜矿。在使用氢气还原之前的CuO晶体尺寸是21nm。
发明实施例4
重复进行发明实施例3,获得经过过滤和洗涤的沉淀物质。沉淀的物质然后于150℃干燥4小时。
将50g干燥的沉淀物质按照其1.00ml/g的吸水量用8.95g硝酸铁(III)一水合物的50ml水溶液浸渍1小时。然后于120℃干燥4小时,于500℃煅烧2小时,和用氢气于230℃还原4小时。
所获得的催化剂含有3重量%的铁。在使用氢气还原之前的CuO晶体尺寸是20nm。
发明实施例5
将2274g氢氧化钠的40重量%水溶液于70℃在20分钟内在搅拌下连续加入1238.7g硝酸铜和357.9g硝酸铁(III)九水合物的2.5L水溶液中。于70℃连续搅拌30分钟后,过滤并洗涤出总共100L水,于200℃干燥4小时,用氢气于230℃还原4小时。
所获得的催化剂含有72重量%的铜。在使用氢气还原之前的CuO晶体尺寸是9nm。
发明实施例6
重复进行实施例5,制得铜含量为44重量%的催化剂。在使用氢气还原之前的CuO晶体尺寸是10nm。
发明实施例7
重复进行实施例5,制得铜含量为10重量%的催化剂。在使用氢气还原之前的CuO晶体尺寸是13nm。
对比实施例A
重复进行WO-A-94/24091中的实施例19,制得催化剂。
氢化工序
向内容积为300ml的高压釜中加入40g二乙醇胺、32g氢氧化钠、85g水和4g的相关催化剂。该反应在170℃温度和9巴的恒定压力下进行直至氢气的形成反应结束。所释放的氢气的量作为反应时间的函数记录。在反应结束之后,分析反应产物。结果总结在下表中:

Claims (7)
1、用于从醇制备羧酸盐的催化剂,该催化剂是
a)由铜组成,或者
b)含有99.9-10重量%的铜和0.01-90重量%的铁和0-50重量%的一种或多种其它金属,
和该催化剂可以任选被掺杂,其特征在于通过铜盐溶液用碱进行沉淀或通过任选含有其它金属盐的铜和铁盐溶液用碱进行共沉淀获得了氢氧化物,和该氢氧化物用氢气还原。
2、根据权利要求1的催化剂,其特征在于所用的碱是碱金属氢氧化物、碱土金属氢氧化物、碱金属碳酸盐、碱土金属碳酸盐、碱金属碳酸氢盐、碱土金属碳酸氢盐或它们的混合物。
3、根据权利要求1的催化剂,其特征在于所用的金属是元素周期表IIa、IIIa、IVa、Va、VIa、Ib、IIb、IIIb、IVb、Vb、VIb、VIIb、VIII族的金属或它们的混合物。
4、根据权利要求1的催化剂,其特征在于在还原之前,CuO颗粒具有1-75nm的晶体尺寸。
5、根据权利要求1的催化剂,其特征在于铝含量小于4重量%。
6、一种制备羧酸盐的方法,包括使通式I的醇与碱金属氢氧化物、碱土金属氢氧化物或其混合物在水中在如权利要求1所述的铜催化剂存在下在120-280℃的温度和从水的蒸汽压至75巴的压力下进行反应,

其中,
R是-(OCH2CH2OH)或-NR1R2,和
R1和R2各自独立地是氢,苯基,-CH2CH2OH,C1-C20烷基,或C2-C5二烷基氨基。
7、根据权利要求6的制备羧酸盐的方法,其中在反应混合物中的铝离子含量是小于4000ppm。
