Abstract
本发明是关于一种颜料制剂,其包含有机颜料和以颜料制剂总重计的0.2至20重量%的多磷酸铵或有机磷化合物。
Description
本发明是关于低可燃性、热存放稳定和非爆燃粉末颜料制剂。
许多市售粉末颜料对于100毫米的燃烧时间低于45秒钟,在目前的法规下,它们被归类为危险物种。因此这样的物质的处置和储存有特别的安全规则,此通常须要非常昂贵的设备和构造预防措施。
DD250 322 A1揭示含阻燃颜料的塑料模制组合物,其中,颜料是晶状次氮基磷酸盐,据称其具有阻燃性。多磷酸铵(APP)用于防火塑料(DE-A1-30 05 252,EP-A-0 049 763),但明显影响周围介质的材料性质。
尚无用以改善有机粉末颜料的安全性且不会影响其材料性质的方法。
因此,本发明的目的是要提出防火或可燃性低且不会对着色性质、颜色性质、流变性或分散性有明显负面影响的有机粉末颜料。
已经知道藉由基本上包含有机颜料和多磷酸铵或有机磷化合物的颜料制剂可达此目的。
据此,本发明提出颜料制剂,包含有机颜料和以颜料制剂总重计0.2至20重量%,优选1至15重量%,特别是2至10重量%的多磷酸铵(APP)或有机磷化合物。
用于本发明的目的的APP包括通式如下的化合物
H(n-m)+2(NH4)mPnO3n+1
其中,n是整数,平均值约20至800,m/n介于0.7和1.1的间(DE-A-1283 532);和微包封的APP,优选包含75至99重量%上式表示的APP和1至25重量%包覆各APP颗粒的合成树脂,此合成树脂可由蜜胺和甲醛构成(EP-A-0 033 361),或由酚和甲醛构成(DE-A-30 05 252),或由蜜胺和/或二氰二酰胺构成(EP-A-0 106 248),或由聚脲构成(EP-A-0 180790),或由聚氨酯构成(EP-A-0 178 554)或由聚碳化二亚胺构成(EP-A-0178 529)。
APP本身可根据已知方法制得,如述于US-A-3 978 195、EP-A-0 480180、EP-A-0 537 475、EP-A-0 411 381或EP-A-0 088 265者。
前述APP亦可购自市面上,其名称为Exolit(Clariant GmbH),如Expolit AP422、Expolit AP423、Expolit AP452、Expolit AP462。
用于本发明的有机磷化合物如:三(2-氯乙基)磷酸酯,三(2-异丙基)磷酸酯、甲膦酸(5-乙基-2-甲基-1,3,2-二氧杂phospohorinan-5-基)甲基甲基酯、具有羟基烷基酯和烷基酯基或具有羟基烷基酯和氯烷基酯基的磷酸乙二醇聚酯,如:Expolit OP514、Exolit OP550、ExolitOP910。
有用的有机颜料包括,如:偶氮颜料,如:一偶氮、二偶氮、萘酚、偶氮缩合颜料或金属络合物颜料)和多环颜料,如:异吲哚啉酮和异吲哚啉颜料、蒽酮(anthanthrone)、硫代靛蓝、醌酞酮(quinophthalone)、蒽醌、二噁嗪、酞花青、喹吖啶酮、苝(perylene)、苝酮(perinone)、二酮基吡咯并吡咯、噻唑并靛蓝和甲亚胺颜料。
特别感兴趣的有机颜料是其粉末易燃的颜料,如:C.I.颜料红38、颜料红184、颜料黄12、颜料橙5。
本发明的颜料制剂可以进一步包含常用辅助剂和添加剂,如:分散剂,增充剂、蜡、填料、调节剂(stellmittel)、消泡剂、防尘剂、调整光色着色剂、界面活性剂、防腐剂和延缓干燥剂。
特别感兴趣的颜料制剂基本上包含以颜料制剂总重(100%)计的0.2至20重量%,优选1至15重量%,特别是2至10重量%的多磷酸铵或有机磷化合物;99.8至80重量%,优选99至85重量%,特别是98至90重量%的有机颜料;和0至15重量%,如:0.1至10重量%的上述辅助剂和添加剂。
本发明的颜料制剂可制自:使有机颜料以粉末颜料形式或含水滤饼或压滤饼或颜料悬浮液的形式与APP或有机磷化合物以粉末形式或于水中的溶液或悬浮液形式以前述混合比例混合,例如借助粉末混合机或浆料混合机。
本发明的颜料制剂可以颗粒、微颗粒或粉末形式存在。
藉由添加APP,本发明大大改变了易燃颜料粉末的燃烧性质,使其于火苗燃起的短时间内自动熄灭。因此使得它们不会被归类为危险物品。藉由添加APP,本发明还大大改变了尘粒爆炸性,使得压力提高率(Kst值)大幅降低并使得相关灰尘-空气混合物的最低点火能量提高1至2倍。
根据本发明的颜料制剂可用于天然或人工合成来源的高分子有机材料如:塑料、树脂、清漆、涂漆或电子照片调色剂和显影剂及油墨和印刷油墨的着色。
可以使用所述颜料制剂加以着色的高分子有机材料包括,如:纤维素醚和酯如:乙基纤维素、硝基纤维素、乙酸纤维素或丁酸纤维素、天然树脂或合成树脂如:聚合树脂或缩合树脂,如,胺基树脂,特别是尿素-和蜜胺-甲醛树脂、醇酸树脂、丙烯酸树脂、酚醛塑料、聚碳酸酯、聚烯烃如:聚苯乙烯、聚氯乙烯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、聚丙烯腈、聚丙烯酸酯、聚酰胺、聚氨酯或聚酯、橡胶、酪蛋白、硅酮和硅酮树脂,是单独的或是混合物。
此处,前述高分子有机化合物是否以塑性物料、熔体或纺丝溶液、涂料、涂漆或印刷油墨存在并不重要。视其应用目的,本发明的颜料制剂以掺合物形式使用或者以制剂或分散液形式使用为佳。基于欲着色的高分子有机材料,本发明的颜料制剂用量优选0.05至30重量%,更优选0.1至10重量%。
本发明的颜料制剂亦可以在电子照片调色剂和显影剂中作为着色剂,如:单或双组分粉末调色剂(亦称为单或双组分显影剂),磁性调色剂,液态调色剂,聚合反应调色剂和专业调色剂(L.B.Schein,“Electrophotography and Development Physics(电子照相术及显影物理)”;Springer Series in Electrophysics14,Springer Verlag,2ndedition,1992)。
典型调色剂粘合剂是聚合反应、加聚反应和缩聚反应树脂,如:苯乙烯、苯乙烯丙烯酸酯、苯乙烯-丁二烯、丙烯酸酯、聚酯、酚-环氧化物树脂、聚砜、聚氨酯,单独或组合,也可以是聚乙烯和聚丙烯,其中还可以包括其他成份,如:电荷调整剂、蜡或流动助剂,或者以这些添加剂加以修饰。
本发明的颜料制剂另外可以在粉末和粉末涂料中作为着色剂,特别是施用在用于物件(如:金属、木材、塑料、玻璃、陶瓷、混凝土、织品材料、纸或橡胶)表面涂覆的静电或动电喷雾粉末涂料中(J.F.Hughes,“Electrostatics Powder Coating(静电粉末涂料)”,ResearchStudies,John Wiley&Sons,1984)。
所用粉末涂料树脂基本上是加有常用固化剂的环氧树脂、含羧基和含羟基的聚酯树脂、聚氨酯和丙烯酸树脂。亦可以使用树脂组合物。例如,常使用环氧树脂与含羧基和含羟基的聚酯树脂的组合物。典型固化剂组分(视树脂系统而定)包括,如:酸酐、咪唑和二氰二酰胺及其衍生物、封端的异氰酸酯、双酰基尿烷、酚醛和蜜胺树脂、异氰尿酸三缩水甘油酯、噁唑啉和二羧酸。
本发明的颜料制剂亦可作为以水性和非水性系统为基础的喷墨油墨及以热熔法加工的油墨的着色剂。
本发明的颜料制剂另可作为滤色器的着色剂,亦可作为减色制品的添加剂。
下面的实施例中,份数和百分比以重量计。实例1
100份粉状的C.I.颜料红38与2份、5份或10份Exolit AP423于粉末混合机中充分混合,形成均匀分散物。实例2
280份C.I.颜料红38的含水的颜料压滤饼(固体含量28%)与2份、5份或10份Exolit AP423于浆料混合机中充分混合,的后干燥。实例3
欲制备100份C.I.颜料红38,偶联反应结束后冷却结合的悬浮液,并与2份、5份或10份Exolit AP462掺合。此Exolit制剂(微包封的多磷酸铵)的低溶解度使得颜料的加工可以通过滤出并继而加以干燥进行。实例4
100份粉状的C.I.颜料红38用2份、5份或10份Exolit OP910于水平式混合机中均匀喷雾,继而加以干燥。Exolit OP910是一种粘稠液体,其经水稀释以改善可操作性。燃烧试验
依照用于运送危险物品的UN建议,测定100毫米距离的燃烧速率,物质堆积于位于陶瓷板上的预定的三角形模具中。分别测定六次,评估最高燃烧速率。以100毫米测定距离测得的平均值列于下面的附表中。

测试的混合物没有一个仍被归类为“易燃固体”。即使于最低浓度也能够观察到抑制燃烧的效果。
相比于未经处理的颜料粉末,本发明的颜料制剂的颗粒尺寸分布不会影响燃烧情况。实例5至8
下列颜料与以实例1至4相同的方式加工成颜料制剂:

根据UN试验手册和标准,热储存于1升线篮中(试验法N.4):在1升线篮中以0%、5%和10%Exolit ASP423于120℃炉温中热老化测试C.I.颜料黄12,使得自身加热由33℃(0%ASP 423)降至18℃(5%ASP 423)或11℃(10%ASP 423)。尘爆性质试验
使用化学雷管(点火能量10,000毫焦耳)和密集喷嘴作为尘分布是统,在密封的20升球体中测定尘爆性质。
使用蘑菇型尘分布是统,以HV继电器和移动的电极作为启动器,充电电压是11或15千伏特,电极距离6毫米,在MIKE III设备(经修饰的Hartmann管)中测定最低点燃能量。实例9:
以实例7的颜料制剂(具有10%ASP423的C.I.颜料黄74)试验其尘爆性质。得知其KsT值为250巴*米/秒。最低点燃能量是300毫焦耳(尘浓度1毫克/升)。未添加Exolit AP423的C.I.颜料黄74的KsT值是320巴*米/秒,最低点燃能量是3毫焦耳,尘浓度0.5至1.5毫克/升。
Claims (12)
1.一种颜料制剂,其特征在于其包含有机颜料和以颜料制剂总重计的0.2至20重量%的多磷酸铵或有机磷化合物。
2.如权利要求1的颜料制剂,其中,包含以颜料制剂总重计的1至15重量%,优选2至10重量%的多磷酸铵或有机磷化合物。
3.如权利要求1或2的颜料制剂,其中,多磷酸铵通式为
H(n-m)+2(NH4)mPnO3n+1
其中,n是整数,平均值约20至800,m/n介于0.7和1.1的间。
4.如权利要求3的颜料制剂,其中,多磷酸铵是被合成树脂微包封的多磷酸铵,此合成树脂选自蜜胺-甲醛、酚醛、蜜胺和/或二氰二酰胺、聚脲、聚氨酯和聚碳化二亚胺。
5.如权利要求1-4一项或多项的颜料制剂,其中,有机磷化合物是三(2-氯乙基)磷酸酯、三(2-异丙基)磷酸酯、甲膦酸(5-乙基-2-甲基-1,3,2-二氧杂phospohorinan-5-基)甲基甲基酯、具有羟基烷基酯和烷基酯基或具有羟基烷基酯和氯烷基酯基的磷酸乙二醇聚酯。
6.如权利要求1-5一项或多项的颜料制剂,其中,有机颜料是偶氮颜料或多环颜料。
7.如权利要求6的颜料制剂,其中,偶氮颜料是一氮、二偶氮、萘酚、金属络合物或偶氮缩合颜料。
8.如权利要求6的颜料制剂,其中,多环颜料是异吲哚啉酮、异吲哚啉、蒽酮、硫代靛蓝、醌酞酮、蒽醌、二噁嗪、酞花青、喹吖啶酮、苝、苝酮、二酮基吡咯并吡咯、噻唑并靛蓝或甲亚胺颜料。
9.如权利要求1的颜料制剂,其中,基本上包含以颜料制剂总重(100%)计的0.2至20重量%多磷酸铵或有机磷化合物;99.8至80重量%有机颜料;和0至15重量%辅助剂或添加剂。
10.一种制备如权利要求1-9一项或多项的颜料制剂的方法,其特征在于其包含使有机颜料以粉末颜料形式或含水滤饼或压滤饼或颜料悬浮液形式与多磷酸铵或有机磷化合物以粉末形式或于水中的溶液或悬浮液形式混合。
11.如权利要求1-9一项或多项的颜料制剂的用途,用于天然或人工合成来源的高分子有机材料的着色。
12.如权利要求11的用途,其中,高分子有机材料是塑料、树脂、清漆、涂漆、电子照片调色剂或显影剂、油墨或粉末涂料。
