Description

纤维层的热封接方法及设备
                      发明背景
发明的技术领域
本发明涉及一种热封接方法及热封接设备,用于将蓬松的无纺布、纤维丝网、无纺布和纤维丝网的复合物、薄膜和纤维丝网的复合物、薄膜、无纺布和纤维丝网的复合物,或类似物的纤维层熔合成预定的花纹。
现有技术的说明
无纺布、纤维丝网或类似物的纤维层可部分加以熔合,用作清洁片。例如,在未审查的已公开日本专利申请11-235301中披露了一种清洁片,它通过局部热封接纤维层,纤维层是将从丝束(TOW)展开的长纤维的纤维丝网重叠在无纺布之上制成的,并将热封接形成的熔合线之间区域中的无纺布和纤维丝网进行狭长的切口而制成。在此种清洁片中,纤维丝网能容易地以毛刷形部分擦去灰尘,每一毛刷形部分位于一条熔合线与一个狭长切口之间,且纤维丝网能以其余部分有效地收集灰尘及较大的废物片,每一其余部分位于两条熔合线之间,在其间没有狭长切口。
现有技术中用于局部熔合较蓬松的纤维层,诸如无纺布和纤维丝网的叠片的热封接方法是应用滚辊而实施的,如图7所示。
在图7所示的热封接方法中,一对滚辊31和32在它们各自的外周边上一体地设置有具有预定花纹的封接脊31a和32a。这些滚辊31和32加热至高于构成纤维层10的纤维的熔点温度,并在箭头方向旋转。
纤维层10是将从TOW展开的长纤维的纤维丝网12层压在无纺布和/或薄膜的基材层11上制成的。构成基材层11和纤维丝网12的纤维包含可熔合纤维,诸如PET、PE或PP的纤维。
当纤维层10进给至旋转着的滚辊31和32之间的间隙中时,纤维层局部地在旋转滚辊31和32的封接脊31a和32a之间受压和加热,从而可熔合纤维熔合形成熔合部分13。这些熔合部分13形成的花纹等同于封接脊31a和32a的花纹。
应用滚辊31和32的、如图7所示的热封接方法当它用于熔合不太蓬松的无纺布或类似物时,能实施高速处理,但对较蓬松的层,诸如包含从TOW展开的纤维丝网12的纤维层10,它是不合格的,因为它的熔合效率差,且难于实现高速处理。
特别是,如从TOW展开的纤维处于卷曲状态,从而纤维丝网12具有低的密度和大的空隙体积。当此蓬松的纤维层10进给至滚辊31和32之间的间隙中,从而它在封接脊31a和32a之间受压时,纤维层10的空隙中空气的存在恶化了纤维层10中的导热系数,从而可熔合纤维需要时间,以便加热至高于它们熔点的温度。更特别的是,如图7所示,在纤维层10被封接脊31a和32a完全夹紧之前,纤维层10中的受热空气逸出,从而下降将可熔合纤维加热至熔点或更高的加热效率。
因此,为了熔合可熔合纤维以形成熔合部分13,滚辊31和32的旋转速度必须设定于低的水平,从而不可能进行高速处理。
为消除此缺陷,可设想提高滚辊31和32的温度及设定滚辊31和32的加压力。但是,在这些设定下,当纤维层10被封接脊31a和32a热封接时,在熔合部分13,特别是在封接表面侧的可熔合纤维被熔化掉,或被压力切断,从而熔合部分13容易变损坏。
另一方面,在图7所示的应用滚辊31和32的热封接方法中,纤维层10被局部地夹紧于从两根滚辊31和32突出的封接脊31a和32a之间。因此,当纤维层10具有不同厚度的部分,或当封接脊31a和32a的花纹成形成例如V形或弧形时,由于被封接脊31a和32a夹紧,纤维层10变得起皱或移位,或者纤维层10或其纤维本身,如从TOW展开的纤维,变得弯曲,从而熔合部分13不可能具有精确的花纹。
                      发明内容
本发明的一个目的是提出一种热封接方法和热封接设备,用于在即使是较蓬松的纤维层中以高速形成熔合部分。
本发明的另一目的是提出一种热封接方法和热封接设备,用于当纤维层具有不同厚度的部分或当熔合部分具V形或弧形花纹时,通过防止纤维层起皱或移位,以及防止纤维层及其纤维本身弯曲,以精确的花纹形成熔合线。
按照本发明的一个方面,提出一种热封接方法,包括:将可熔合纤维层进给至一对滚辊之间的间隙中,滚辊对中至少有一根在其外周边上具有预定花纹的封接脊;以及用封接脊加热和加压纤维层,用以在纤维层中形成与封接脊的花纹相对应的熔合部分。
其中,绝缘体设置成覆盖滚辊的没有封接脊的外周边,制作绝缘体的材料所具的导热系数低于封接脊的导热系数,且它能在滚辊的压力下弹性地收缩;以及
其中,被进给至旋转着的滚辊之间的间隙中的纤维层受绝缘体的压缩,用以排出其内部空气,然后受封接脊的加热的加压,从而它被热封接。
根据本发明,当滚辊旋转,并将蓬松的纤维层进给至其间时,纤维层被绝缘体夹紧,用以将空气从纤维层中排至外侧,从而当空气被排出至相当程度时,它被封接脊所夹紧。因此,在纤维层被封接脊夹紧的瞬间,纤维层中的空气体积已下降至如此程度,以致纤维层中的可熔合纤维快速地被封接脊的热量所加热。因此,可靠的热封接能确保,即使滚辊的旋转速度增高以提升纤维层的进给速率。
另一方面,由于由纤维薄层形成的蓬松的纤维层在其被绝缘体挤压至某个程度后受到封接脊的夹紧,即使纤维层具有不同的厚度,或即使熔合部分具有V形或弧形花纹,纤维层既不会起皱或移位,纤维层或纤维它们本身也不会弯曲,从而形成的熔合部分能具有精确的花纹,而不会偏离位置。
根据意欲应用于前述热封接方法中的发明的另一方面,提出一种热封接设备,它包括一对滚辊,用于加热和加压可熔合纤维层,以形成预定花纹的熔合部分。
其中,滚辊对中至少有一根在其外周边上设置有封接脊,用于形成预定花纹的熔合部分,而在封接脊之外的区域则用绝缘体加以覆盖;以及
其中,制作绝缘体的材料所具的导热系数低于封接脊的导热系数,且它能在滚辊的压力下弹性地收缩。
在热封接方法和热封接设备中,绝缘体的厚度在未暴露至滚辊的压力下时,最好等于或大于封接脊的高度。此外,绝缘体的厚度在暴露至被加压的滚辊的压力下时,最好等于或小于封接脊的高度。

               本发明的较优实施例
图1是根据实现本发明的一个实施例提出的热封接方法用的热封接设备的透视图;图2是表示通过图1的热封接设备在纤维层中形成熔合部分的步骤的截面图;而图3是表示热封接方法和热封接设备的另一
实施例的截面图。
图1表示了一对滚辊1和3。这两根滚辊1和3由诸如钢或合金的具有高导热系数的金属材料制成。其中,一根是花纹滚辊1,它在其外周边上一体地设置有封接脊2。这些封接脊2沿周边、按预定间距成形成若干个花纹,花纹具有字母“V”的图形,其尖峰2a沿花纹滚辊1的滚动方向向前指向(即沿方向α)。
如图2所示,花纹滚辊1的外周边在其没有封接脊2的部分覆盖有绝缘体4。此绝缘体4由具有比花纹滚辊1低得多的导热系数且由耐热和弹性的材料制成,诸如像由硅的耐热树脂或像由硅橡胶的耐热橡胶制成泡沫构件。
另一根是砧座滚辊3,其外周边3a是光滑的圆柱面。
可替而代之的是,此砧座滚辊3可如图3所示的由花纹滚辊5加以替代。图3的花纹滚辊5在其外周边上一体地设置有封接脊6。这些封接脊6的花纹形状与花纹滚辊1的外周边上形成的封接脊2相对称。花纹滚辊5的外周边在其没有封接脊6的部分也设置有绝缘体4。
蓬松的纤维层10或在花纹滚辊1与砧座滚辊3之间,或在花纹滚辊1与花纹滚辊5之间送进和热封接。蓬松的纤维层10通过将纤维丝网12层压在无纺布11之上而制成。
用作基材层的无纺布11的实例有纺丝粘结、热粘结或纺丝编织带无纺布,并包含诸如PET、PE或PP纤维,或它们的复合纤维的可熔合纤维。可替而代之的是,无纺布11可由PET、PE或PP的可熔合薄膜来替代,或者无纺布11和薄膜的叠片可用作基材层。
纤维丝网12是从TOW展开的长纤维薄层或从薄膜撕开的,称为“裂开纱”的纤维薄层,这些纤维主要沿纤维层10的进给方向(MD)而伸展。纤维丝网12也包含诸如PET、PE或PP纤维,或它们的复合纤维的可熔合纤维。
纤维层10具有比“METSUKE”(基准重量)低的密度,是蓬松的。特别是,长纤维,由于从TOW展开,是卷曲的。另一方面,裂开纱一般是不卷曲的,但为了使用,可加以卷曲。由这些材料制成的纤维丝网12是蓬松的,具有大的空隙体积。
当纤维层10进给至沿方向α和β旋转的滚辊之间的间隙中时,它或夹紧在花纹滚辊1的绝缘体4与砧座滚辊3的外周边之间(如图2所示),或夹紧在花纹滚辊1的绝缘体4与花纹滚辊5的绝缘体4之间(如图3所示),从而它被垂直地加以挤压。因此,纤维层10中的空气在它被封接脊2夹紧或夹紧在封接脊2和6之间前就被排出。当封接脊2或封接脊2和封接脊6夹紧纤维层10时,纤维层10中的空隙体积减小,得以改进层中的导热系数。
这样,无纺布11和纤维丝网12中的可熔合纤维能在短时间内加热至高于熔点的温度,从而熔合部分13能立即和可靠地形成于纤维层10中。因此,滚辊1和3或滚辊1和5的旋转速度能增加以提高热封接速率。
另一方面,不必将滚辊温度升高至必要的温度之上,将滚辊间的压力升高至必要的压力之上。结果,熔合部分13能稳定地形成于纤维层10中,从而熔合部分13很少会由于封接表面上可熔合纤维的熔合或压力剪切而损坏。
当熔合部分13具有如图1所示的V形花纹或弧形花纹时,另一方面,当纤维层10具有不同厚度的部分时,纤维层10会起皱或移位,或者纤维层10或纤维丝网12容易弯曲,如果纤维层如图7所示地只由封接脊加以夹紧而进给的话。但是,如果花纹滚辊在它们的外周边上如图2和3所示地设置有绝缘体4,则纤维层10被绝缘体4所夹紧、压缩和限制,然后进给至封接脊,从而它的进给被稳定。因此,在进给时,纤维层10不容易起皱或移位,纤维丝网12不容易弯曲。
因此,如图1所示的熔合部分13的花纹能可靠地形成,而不会移位。
图4以放大比例表示花纹滚辊1和5。绝缘体4的厚度T,当它不接受滚辊间的压力时,最好等于或大于封接脊2或6的高度H。另一方面,厚度T的上限最好具有这样的尺寸,以便当绝缘体4接受滚辊间的压力时收缩至封接脊的高度H或更小。另一方面,如果当不受压于滚辊之间时,厚度T大于高度H,绝缘体4最好具有这样的弹性模量,以便当受压于滚辊之间时,得以收缩至这样的厚度T,它小于封接脊的高度H。但是,即使绝缘体4的厚度T在不受压于滚辊之间时,小于封接脊的高度H,它也不会产生严重的问题,只要绝缘体4足够厚,得以挤压纤维层10以排出内部空气。
此外,封接脊2或6的周边宽度W与纤维层10的厚度T0之间的关系可按下述方式设定。当纤维层10进给至旋转滚辊间的间隙中时,它接受绝缘体4的压力,从而其纤维薄层在排出内部空气之前被夹紧,然后接受封接脊2和6的夹紧压力。
图5是一张顶视图,它表示作为纤维层10的实例的清洁片10A,其所具的熔合部分13应用图1至3所示的热封接设备通过热封接方法而形成,而图6是沿图5的直线VI-VI截取的截面图。
在此清洁片10A中,如前所述,从TOW展开的长纤维的纤维丝网12被层压在无纺布11(或薄膜,或薄膜和无纺布的叠片)之上。清洁片10A在宽度方向(CD)的两侧部分上设置有夹持层15和15。这些夹持层15和15的制作相似于无纺布11。纤维丝网12在其两侧部分夹于无纺布11与夹持层15和15之间,而无纺布11和夹持层15和15则用热熔粘接剂粘结在一起,或熔合、焊接在一起。
此清洁片10A设置有应用图1至3所示的热封接方法形成的V形花纹的熔合部分13,在此处无纺布11和纤维丝网12焊接在一起。此外,在熔合部分13和13之间成形有狭长切口14,它们间隔地平行于V形花纹而布置。这些切口14是通过无纺布11和纤维丝网12一起切割形成的。此外,如需要,构成纤维丝网12的纤维被起毛。结果,在图5画阴影的区域16中,构成纤维丝网12的纤维在熔合部分13处被剪去,而在狭长切口14处被松开。因此,切割的纤维从熔合部分13伸展至狭长切口14,形成毛刷形部分。纤维丝网的这一毛刷形部分成形于夹在熔合部分13与狭长切口14之间的所有区域。
在此清洁片10A中,毛刷形部分能擦去灰尘或类似物。在没有狭长切口14的其余区域中,纤维薄层以桥的形状伸展于沿MD毗邻的熔合部分13和13之间,从而它能将灰尘或较大的废物块收集在纤维之间。
此处,本发明不应限于前述无纺布和纤维丝网的复合纤维层的热封接,而是能应用于只是纤维丝网或无纺布的热封接,诸如透气的无纺布,它是蓬松的,具有低密度,但大的气隙体积。另一方面,熔合部分13不应限于图1所示的连续线的形状,而也可由点虚线状的封接凸模加以实施。
如前所述,按照本发明,即使具有大的空隙体积的蓬松纤维层也能应用滚辊以高速加以热封接。即使纤维层具有不同厚度的部分,或者,如果熔合部分具有V形花纹或弧形形状,纤维层也能在进给至滚辊之间的间隙中的同时,可靠地被热封接,从而熔合部分能可靠地形成。
此处,“包括”当用于本说明书中时,被认为说明存在所述的特点、整体、步骤或成分,但不排除存在或附加一个或多个其它特点、整体、步骤、成分或其组合。
虽已表示和说明了各种示例性实施例,但本发明并不限于所示实施例。因此,本发明的范围只受限于所附权利要求的范围。

Claims (6)

1.一种热封接方法,包括:将可熔合纤维层进给至一对滚辊之间的间隙中,所述一对滚辊中至少有一根在其外周边上具有预定花纹的封接脊;以及用所述封接脊加热和加压所述纤维层,用以在所述纤维层中形成与所述封接脊的花纹相对应的熔合部分,
其中,一绝缘体设置成覆盖所述滚辊的没有所述封接脊的外周边,制作绝缘体的材料所具的导热系数低于所述封接脊的导热系数,且它能在所述滚辊的压力下弹性地收缩;以及
其中,被进给至旋转着的所述滚辊之间的间隙中的纤维层受所述绝缘体的压缩,排出其内部空气,然后受所述封接脊的加热和加压,从而被热封接。
2.如权利要求1所述的热封接方法,其特征在于,所述绝缘体的厚度在未暴露至所述滚辊的压力下时,等于或大于所述封接脊的高度。
3.如权利要求2所述的热封接方法,其特征在于,所述绝缘体的厚度在暴露至被加压的所述滚辊的压力下时,等于或小于所述封接脊的高度。
4.一种热封接设备,包括一对滚辊,用于加热和加压可熔合纤维层,以便形成预定花纹的熔合部分,
其中,所述一对滚辊中至少有一根在其外周边上设置有封接脊,用于形成预定花纹的所述熔合部分,而在所述封接脊之外的区域则用绝缘体加以覆盖;以及
其中,制作绝缘体的材料所具的导热系数低于所述封接脊的导热系数,且它能在所述滚辊的压力下弹性地收缩。
5.如权利要求4所述的热封接设备,其特征在于,所述绝缘体的厚度在未暴露至所述滚辊的压力下时,等于或大于所述封接脊的高度。
6.如权利要求5所述的热封接设备,其特征在于,所述绝缘体的厚度在暴露至被加压的所述滚辊的压力下时,等于或小于所述封接脊的高度。
