Abstract

本发明提供一种凸型杆状连接端子及其制造方法,即使在杆状的小型端子连接部,仍确保其强度。在图4(a)中,对比如由厚度为0.2mm的规定宽度的较薄金属板形成的条片部(21)进行轧制,象图4(b)那样,按照0.16mm的厚度使其发生挤压变形。接着,象图4(c)所示的那样,使条片部(21)的沿纵向的两侧部(22,23)相对基板(24)向上方立起,并且象图4(d)所示的那样,将两侧部(22,23)朝向内侧弯曲,进而,象图4(e)所示的那样,将其折叠于基板(24)上。进而,象图4(f)所示的那样,将折叠的两侧部(22,23)与基板(24)一起立起,使两侧部(22,23)之间紧密贴合,从四周以机械方式对其压缩,形成一边长度为0.64mm的方形的截面形状。

Description

凸型杆状连接端子及其制造方法
技术领域
本发明涉及与对方侧的凹型连接端子嵌合的凸型杆状连接端子及其制造方法。
背景技术
近年,伴随各种电气设备的信息量的增加,人们希望减小电连接器的整体尺寸,提高其密度,要求连接端子为更小的尺寸。比如,在端子连接部的截面中,具有一边为0.64mm的正方形的规格。
作为这种小型的凸型杆状连接端子,其截面呈矩形状,但是,在JP特开平11-329545公报中,公开有图5所示的,省略了一部分的连接端子。该凸型杆状连接端子1按照将厚度较小的导电性金属板弯曲的方式成一体形成,其包括杆状的端子连接部2,该端子连接部2与对方侧的凹型连接端子连接;U形状的电线压接部,该电线压接部在后方,按照连接电线的方式对其保持。
端子连接部2的截面象图6所示的那样,呈在中心处具有中空部的筒状,形成规定的厚度。
但是,在上述的凸型杆状连接端子1中的端子连接部2中,由于呈较扁平的形状,并且沿上下方向平行而并排的板材的数量少,宽度小,故端子连接部2抵抗从上下方向施加的作用力或振动的性能较弱,如果连续地施加强制的扭力或振动,则具有弯曲,或端子连接部2的基部容易折损的缺点。
另外,在围绕金属板在内部中形成中空部的场合,超小型的端子还具有模具结构等的成本增加的问题。
本发明的目的在于为了解决上述课题,提供即使在小型且导电性金属板的板厚较小的情况下,仍可确保端子连接部的强度的凸型杆状连接端子及其制造方法。
发明内容
用于实现上述目的的本发明的凸型杆状连接端子包括杆状的端子连接部,该端子连接部的前端与对方侧的相对应的凹型连接端子连接,该连接端子是将1块导电性金属板弯曲而形成的,其特征在于上述端子连接部是按照下述方式形成的:将上述导电性金属板形成的条片部的基部的两侧部向上方立起形成立起部,所述立起部按照沿上述基部的表面延伸的方式向内侧折回,进而,将上述基部按照上述立起部的外侧面之间接触的方式弯曲,将上述导电性金属板沿横向按照4层重合,同时使所述立起部表面之间没有间隙地紧密贴合,将所述导电性金属板压缩成截面呈四角形的杆状部件。
另外,本发明的凸型杆状连接端子的制造方法,该凸型杆状连接端子包括杆状的端子连接部,该端子连接部的前端与对方侧的相对应的凹型连接端子连接,将1块导电性金属板弯曲制造连接端子,其特征在于该方法包括下述步骤:将上述导电性金属板形成的条片部的基部的两侧部朝向上方立起形成立起部;将所述立起部按照沿上述基部表面延伸的方式向内侧折回;将上述立起部按照外侧面之间接触的方式进行弯曲,沿横向将上述导电性金属板按照4层重合,同时使上述立起部的表面之间紧密贴合;将上述端子连接部整体进行压缩成截面呈四角形的杆状。

具体实施方式
图1为本发明的实施例的凸型杆状连接端子的俯视图,图2为侧视图,图3为沿图2中的A-A线的放大剖视图。
凸型杆状连接端子10是按照以规定形状对板厚较小的导电性金属板进行冲压且将其弯曲而一体形成,形成有杆状的端子连接部11,该端子连接部11从前端与对方侧的凹型连接端子连接;中间部12,该中间部12用于固定于外壳上;截面呈U形状的电线压接部13,该电线压接部13用于连接电线,依次通过弯压机而成形,为了进行电线的连接,通过设置有装配孔14的连接片15而连接。
电线压接部13包括芯线压接部13a,该芯线压接部13a用于压接电线的芯线;覆盖压接部13b,该覆盖压接部13b从电线覆盖部的外侧压接。另外,标号16为用于使接纳于外壳中的场合的连接端子10的姿势稳定的稳定部。
端子连接部11按照将呈条片状冲压的导电性金属板的一部分沿纵向弯曲而截面呈四角形状的方式形成,其前端11a冲压加工成尖锐的四棱锥面状。
图4(a)~图4(f)为端子连接部11的成形步骤的说明图,在图4(a)中,对比如由厚度为0.2mm的规定宽度的较薄金属板的一部分形成的条片部21进行轧制,由此,象图4(b)所示的那样,按照0.16mm的厚度使其发生挤压变形。接着,象图4(c)所示的那样,使条片部21中的沿纵向的两侧部22,23相对基板24向上方立起,并且象图4(d)所示的那样,将两侧部22,23朝向内侧弯曲,进而,象图4(e)所示的那样,将其折叠于基板24上。
进而,象图4(f)所示的那样,将已折叠的两侧部22,23与基板24一起立起,使两侧部22,23之间紧密贴合,从四周以机械方式对其压缩,形成图3所示的,一边长度为0.64mm的方形的截面形状。
还有,也可象图4(f)所示的那样,在将基板24朝向下方稍稍地鼓起的形状的状态形成制品。
或者,如果从最初使用板厚为0.19mm的导电金属板,则也可省略图4(a)的轧制步骤,最终,在图4(f)中,按照一边长度为0.64mm的方形进行压缩。
按照该凸型杆状连接端子10,由于端子连接部11按照将板厚较小的导电性金属板弯曲,没有中空部,并且以沿上下方向具有宽度的截面呈四角形状的杆状形成,故即使在导电性金属板的板厚较小的情况下,与导电金属板的厚度相比较,也可获得一边的厚度仍足够大的端子连接部11,很少发生连接端子部沿上下弯曲,或折损的情况。
产业上的利用可能性
如上所述,本发明的凸型杆状连接端子及其制造方法,由于将导电性金属板弯曲而将端子连接部形成为截面基本呈四角形的杆状,故可特别地确保端子连接部相对上下方向的应力的强度。

Claims (4)

1.一种凸型杆状连接端子,该凸型杆状连接端子包括杆状的端子连接部,该端子连接部的前端与对方侧的相对应的凹型连接端子连接,该连接端子是将1块导电性金属板弯曲而形成的,其特征在于上述端子连接部是按照下述方式形成的:将上述导电性金属板形成的条片部的基部的两侧部向上方立起形成立起部,所述立起部按照沿上述基部的表面延伸的方式向内侧折回,进而,将上述基部按照上述立起部的外侧面之间接触的方式弯曲,将上述导电性金属板沿横向按照4层重合,同时使所述立起部表面之间没有间隙地紧密贴合,将所述导电性金属板压缩成截面呈四角形的杆状部件。
2.根据权利要求1所述的凸型杆状连接端子,其特征在于上述杆状的端子连接部的前端通过挤压变形而呈尖锐的四棱锥面状。
3.根据权利要求1所述的凸型杆状连接端子,其特征在于上述导电性金属板的板厚在0.16~0.19mm的范围内,上述杆状端子连接部截面呈四角形的一边长度为0.64mm。
4.一种凸型杆状连接端子的制造方法,该凸型杆状连接端子包括杆状的端子连接部,该端子连接部的前端与对方侧的相对应的凹型连接端子连接,将1块导电性金属板弯曲制造连接端子,其特征在于该方法包括下述步骤:将上述导电性金属板形成的条片部的基部的两侧部朝向上方立起形成立起部;将所述立起部按照沿上述基部表面延伸的方式向内侧折回;将上述立起部按照外侧面之间接触的方式进行弯曲,沿横向将上述导电性金属板按照4层重合,同时使上述立起部的表面之间紧密贴合;将上述端子连接部整体进行压缩成截面呈四角形的杆状。
