背景技术
与有机丙烯酸酯共聚的丙烯酸酯化聚硅氧烷和其乳液是已知的,其中将硅氧烷和丙烯酸酯涂于基材上并直接在表面上聚合。例如,US5,635,546公开了一种已用于螺纹机械紧固件的螺纹密封齿合元件的可固化组合物。将活性硅氧烷丙烯酸酯和非必要的其它可聚合丙烯酸酯单体的乳液涂于齿合表面并在现场聚合以使各部件固定就位。

P可被多个衍生自与硅原子桥连的烷基的聚醚支链支化。例如,P可为已被氢硅杂化至硅氧烷主链上的烷氧基化三羟甲基丙烷单烯丙基醚,在此情况下g=3。可被氢硅杂化和烷氧基化的P的其它多价前体为甘油单烯丙基醚、季戊四醇烯丙基醚和三异丙醇胺烯丙基醚。若仅有一个支链,则优选g=1。在优选的实施方案中,R3为直链C2-C5亚烷基,最优选C2-C3亚烷基。
并非所有P中的聚醚必须彼此相同。优选P结构为具有环氧乙烷(b=2)含量大于烯化氧(CbH2bO)含量的80重量%的那些结构,最优选所有烯化氧链为环氧乙烷。

丙烯酸酯化的硅氧烷共聚物被聚合形成聚合物(胶乳),或如果需要,式I与其它共聚单体(如其它酯)的共聚物被聚合形成聚合物(胶乳)。所述聚合可在丙烯酸酯聚合领域已知的各种溶剂、催化剂和温度下进行。该聚合反应不应在表面上进行以免形成薄膜。相反,在溶剂中聚合可生产比成膜用途更广的交联胶乳凝胶。乳液应在溶剂中含小于或等于90wt%,优选小于50%的聚合物。合适的溶剂包括极性溶剂(例如水和醇),和非极性溶剂(例如多种烃或低分子量环状或直链聚二甲基硅氧烷)。聚二甲基硅氧烷的粘度优选应低于100cSt。
任何有机丙烯酸酯和甲基丙烯酸酯可用于形成通式I的共聚物。因此,可使用(例如)丙烯酸和甲基丙烯酸,或其衍生物如酯、腈和酰胺。酯是优选的化合物。可使用的丙烯酸酯的具体例子是丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸戊酯、丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸环己酯、丙烯酸乙烯基酯、丙烯酸烯丙基酯、丙烯酸羟乙基酯、丙烯酸全氟乙酯、丙烯酸异冰片酯、丙烯酸苯氧基乙酯、二丙烯酸四甘醇酯、二丙烯酸二缩三丙二醇酯:三丙烯酸三羟甲基丙烷酯。单一丙烯酸酯或其各种混合物可用于制备共聚物。
与有机丙烯酸酯的丙烯酸酯/甲基丙烯酸酯聚醚改性聚硅氧烷共聚物可由1至99wt%,优选20-90wt%,最优选50-80%的聚硅氧烷组成。
本发明的另一目的是生产包括聚合丙烯酸酯/甲基丙烯酸酯聚醚聚硅氧烷共聚物和/或其与有机丙烯酸酯的共聚物的乳液(即胶乳),该乳液经蒸出水后形成具有良好触摸性和良好整体性的薄膜。事实上这些乳液可为胶乳的分散体。
制备乳液的一个特殊方法为:
1.将通式I定义的具有或无另外的有机丙烯酸酯的丙烯酸酯/甲基丙烯酸酯聚醚聚硅氧烷共聚物用选自非离子表面活性剂(如烷芳基-聚环氧乙烷加合物和烷基乙氧基化物)或阴离子表面活性剂(如羧酸盐、硫酸盐、磺酸盐、烷基芳基磺酸盐和烷基磷酸盐)分散,形成含10-50%分散硅氧烷相的稳定乳液,该乳液可通过加入通用增稠剂如黄原胶或瓜尔胶、明胶和纤维素衍生物进一步稳定。
2.将选自水溶液或油溶性过氧化物,如过氧化氢、过硫酸铵、过硫酸钾,各种有机过氧化物催化剂如二烷基过氧化物(例如过氧化二异丙基、过氧化二月桂基、过氧化二月桂基、过氧化二叔丁基、过氧化二枯基),烷基氢过氧化物(例如氢过氧化叔丁基、氢过氧化叔戊基、氢过氧化枯基),二酰基过氧化物(例如过氧化乙酰基、过氧化月桂酰、过氧化苯甲酰、过酯如过氧苯甲酸乙酯),偶氮化物(如2-偶氮(异丁基腈))的游离基催化剂加入乳液中。
3.将乳液加热至开始游离基反应所需的温度或此温度以上,一般是40~100℃,取决于催化剂,时间是1~10小时或直到消耗掉不饱和基团。
依所用的丙烯酸酯/甲基丙烯酸酯,该乳液可为透明的或奶状。该乳液在高达约90℃下都是稳定的,不出现分离。乳液的粘度可为约0.01至约10,000cps(25℃)。干燥的油相(即从乳液中蒸出溶剂后)可形成光滑且柔软的薄膜至僵硬且脆性的薄膜,取决于起始物质和硅氧烷与丙烯酸酯的比例。通常,硅氧烷含量越高,薄膜越软。
本发明的乳液可用作个人护理用品,包括护肤和护发用品如口红、染眉毛油、粉底霜、洗液、乳膏、防晒霜、洗发剂和调节剂)以改进其耐久性、触摸性和施用的容易性。它们还可用于纺织品和纤维处理以使天然和合成基材,包括天然纤维如毛发、棉花、丝绸、亚麻和羊毛;合成纤维如聚酯、聚酰胺、聚丙烯腈、聚乙烯、聚丙烯和聚氨酯;和无机纤维如玻璃或碳纤维具有光滑、柔韧感和润湿性。可用本发明共聚物处理的织物基材的例子为由上述纤维材料或其共混物生产的织物。可将这些乳液通过例如喷涂、浸涂或轻触辊式涂布,或毛发或纺织品处理中所用的其它涂布方法施于基材上。
通常将乳液涂于皮肤、头发、纤维、纺织品或其它基材上,使至多5%,优选0.01至2.5wt%的聚合物(按干燥基材计)保留于基材上。可将通常用于处理头发或纺织品基材的其它非必要添加剂(包括但不限于另外的表面活性剂、固化树脂、防腐剂、染料、着色剂、各种药方)与本发明的共聚物--起使用。
此外,可将本发明的乳液加入用于金属、塑料、木材和纸的水基涂料配方,如漆、乳胶漆和盖屋顶的组合物中。
包括本发明胶乳的一些样品配方是:
·洗发剂-包括:
a)阴离子表面活性剂、两性离子表面活性剂、两性表面活性剂或其混合物;
b)长链酰基衍生物或长链胺氧化物悬浮剂,选自链烷醇酰胺、乙二醇长链酯、甘油基长链酯和其混合物;和
c)水。
·口红-包括
a)蜡如巴西棕榈蜡、蜂蜡、地蜡、地蜡(ceresin)、小烛树蜡和石蜡;
b)油,选自蓖麻油、酯油、矿物油和织物油;
c)颜料;和
d)其它官能添加剂如润湿剂、抗氧剂。
·面膜-水包油、油包水或无油体系,包括:
a)颜料;
b)分散稳定剂,选自乳化剂如甘油基单硬酯酸酯或吐温60,增稠剂如铝硅酸镁盐、纤维素衍生物、黄原胶;
c)油,选自矿物油、植物油、酯油;和
d)其它功能组分,如颜料、分散剂、抗氧剂和uv吸收剂。
实施例
实施例1.制备亲水性硅氧烷胶乳
将丙烯酸酯慢慢加入水/表面活性剂混合物中,接着加入催化剂。加入的原料概列于表1中。将乳液在搅拌下加入至75-80℃,加热1至2小时。冷却至室温后,加入固体碳酸氢钠将乳液的pH调节至中性。
评估成膜性能
将5ml乳液I-XI样品放置于玻板上并在室温下干燥。结果列于表2中。

大多数硅氧烷胶乳形成均匀、光滑、柔软和干燥的薄膜,尽管有机丙烯酸酯(乳液XI)生产脆性固体。
乳液XII
将聚硅氧烷A(50g)与含0.5g十二烷基硫酸钠的20g 2%过硫酸铵水溶液混合,并将该混合物在搅拌下慢慢加入50g十甲基环戊硅氧烷和5g SILWETFZ-2108的共混物中。将所得分散体搅拌并加热至80-85℃,加热2小时。
实施例2.
将亲水性硅氧烷胶乳用作口红配料
将5%硅氧烷胶乳乳液I、IV、VIII和XI与对比口红配料的组分混合。评估施用容易性、光泽和不转移性能;光泽评估在将口红涂于皮肤上后进行;不转移性通过弄污白色面部组织并目测评估组织着色性进行试验。结果概列于表3中。

所有亲水性硅氧烷乳液I、IV、VI和VIII改进了口红的不转移性和光泽;有机丙烯酸酯乳液(XI)也降低了转移性,但同时对触摸感和光泽存在不利影响。
实施例3.亲水性硅氧烷胶乳在粉底霜中的应用。
将5wt%硅氧烷胶乳I、IV、VIII和XI后加入预形成的对比粉底霜中。评估涂布容易性、摊开性和后触摸感。结果概列于表4中。

硅氧烷乳液I、IV和VIII改进了粉底霜的涂布容易性、后触摸感,而有机丙烯酸酯乳液(XI)未提供改进。
实施例4.将亲水性硅氧烷胶乳用于纺织品处理
将乳液X和XI稀释至1%活性成分,通过浸涂和法涂于聚酯织物(DACRON热定型Style 7774)。将处理过的织物在100℃的纺织品烘箱中干燥3分钟并评估其柔软性和润湿性。结果列于表5中。

·柔软性评估通过手工板(hand panel)进行并将试验的织物分级为最柔软至最粗糙(1为最柔软)

*)较低的等级表示更柔软的织物。
硅氧烷胶乳乳液X使聚酯织物具有柔软性和亲水性,而有机丙烯酸酯(XI)使织物具有亲水性,但粗糙。
实施例5-评估染眉毛油

混合步骤:
1.将水、PVP和羟乙基纤维素掺混,充分混合
2.加热至82-85℃,并加入水相的剩余组分
3.加入预热至87℃的油相
4.冷却至60℃,加入AVALURE共聚物。
5.连续混合并冷却。在45℃下加入Hydantoin。冷却至室温。
将该染眉毛油用如下试验对比:
接触角-含硅氧烷的染眉毛油具有接触角约70度,而对比染眉毛油为25度,通过测角计测量。该接触角用NRL接触角测角计测量。将水滴轻轻滴在以淀积于铝板上的染眉毛油膜上。将显微镜的水平和垂直轴分别与水滴底部呈直线相切。从环形刻度盘测量该两个轴形成的接触角。接触角自水滴反面测量,记录两个读数的平均值。
耐水性-在室温条件下浸入搅拌浴中1分钟-对比染眉毛油损失75wt%,而含硅氧烷的染眉毛油损失约5wt%。
干燥摩擦损失-在Scotch胶带上的重量损失-对比染眉毛油损失35wt%,而本发明的染眉毛油损失5wt%。
耐湿度性-在80℃/100%相对湿度下10分钟后-对比染眉毛油损失90wt%,而含硅氧烷的染眉毛油损失约3wt%。
实施例6-颜料分散性试验
将10wt%的干燥颜料加入水中或含1wt%的乳液I的硅氧烷的丙二醇中。用GRIND GAUGE评估颗粒大小分布,用Hegman等级(1-粗糙,8-非常细)表示。

Claims (17)

1.一种丙烯酸酯化或甲基丙烯酸酯化的聚醚硅氧烷聚合物,其通式是:
[R3SiO1/2]m[O1/2SiR2O1/2]n[SiO3/2R]o[SiO4/2]p
其中R选自R1和P,其中各R1和P相同或不同,各R1为C1-C4烷基、芳基或烷芳基;各P为
          R3[(CbH2bO)zCOCR4=CH2]g
其中R3为羟基取代的亚烷基,g为R3的价态减1,R4为氢或甲基;b=2至4,z=1至100;m+n+p+o=1至100;至少一个R为P;n=1至100;当o不是0时,n/o<10∶1;当p不是0时,n/p<10∶1;和m=0至10,前提是平均丙烯酸酯官能团度为每分子1个以上的不饱和基团P。
2.权利要求1的聚合物,其中P衍生自烷氧基化三羟甲基丙烷单烯丙基醚、甘油单烯丙基醚、季戊四醇烯丙基醚或三异丙醇胺烯丙基醚,其中烯丙基被氢硅杂化到硅氧烷主链上。
3.一种乳液,包括:
a)通过在溶剂中聚合权利要求1的硅氧烷聚合物而形成的聚合物;和
b)溶剂,其中聚合物的存在量为乳液的1至50wt%。
4.根据权利要求3的乳液,其中溶剂为水。
5.根据权利要求3的乳液,其中溶剂为低分子量的环状或直链聚二甲基硅氧烷。
6.根据权利要求3的乳液,其中硅氧烷有如下通式:
         QR1 2Si[OSiR1 2]x[O-SiR1P]yOSiR1 2Q
其中x和y为0至100;Q为R1或P,其中R1和P如权利要求1中所定义。
7.根据权利要求6的乳液,其中R1是1-4个碳原子的烷基,且各Q是P。
8.权利要求7的乳液,其中硅氧烷聚合物是丙烯酸酯化的。
9.权利要求7的乳液,其中g=1。
10.权利要求1的乳液,其中丙烯酸酯选自:丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸戊酯、丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸环己酯、丙烯酸乙烯基酯、丙烯酸烯丙基酯、丙烯酸羟乙基酯、丙烯酸全氟乙酯、丙烯酸异冰片酯、丙烯酸苯氧基乙酯、二丙烯酸四甘醇酯、二丙烯酸二缩三丙二醇酯和三丙烯酸三羟甲基丙烷酯。
11.权利要求1的乳液,其中聚醚硅氧烷聚合物的通式是:
           QR1 2Si[OSiR1 2]x[O-SiR1P]yOSiR1 2Q
其中x和y为0或一整数,Q是R1或P,各R1是1-4个碳原子的烷基,且各P是
           R3[(CbH2bO)zCOCR4=CH2]g
其中R3是羟基取代的亚烷基,g是R3的价态,R4为氢或甲基;b=2至4,z=1至100,前提是平均丙烯酸酯官能团度为每分子1个以上的不饱和基团。
12.一种包括权利要求9的乳液的个人护理用品。
13.一种方法,包括在溶剂中聚合丙烯酸酯或甲基丙烯酸酯的聚醚硅氧烷聚合物以形成所述硅氧烷聚合物和所述溶剂的乳液,其中硅氧烷聚合物的通式如下:
[R3SiO1/2]m[O1/2SiR2O1/2]n[SiO3/2R]o[SiO4/2]p
其中R选自R1和P,其中各R1和P相同或不同,各R1为C1-C4烷基、芳基或烷芳基;各P为
              R3[(CbH2bO)zCOCR4=CH2]g
其中R3为羟基取代的亚烷基,g为R3的价态减1,R4为氢或甲基;b=2至4,z=1至100;m+n+p+o=1至100;至少一个R为P;n=1至100;当o不是0时,n/o<10∶1;当p不是0时,n/p<10∶1;和m=0至10,前提是平均丙烯酸酯官能团度为每分子1个以上的不饱和基团P,且其中聚合物的存在量为乳液的1至50wt%。
14.权利要求13的方法,其中在聚合期间存在至少一种另外的丙烯酸酯或甲基丙烯酸酯。
15.权利要求13的方法,其中所述丙烯酸酯或甲基丙烯酸酯选自:丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸戊酯、丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸环己酯、丙烯酸乙烯基酯、丙烯酸烯丙基酯、丙烯酸羟乙基酯、丙烯酸全氟乙酯、丙烯酸异冰片酯、丙烯酸苯氧基乙酯、二丙烯酸四甘醇酯、二丙烯酸二缩三丙二醇酯和三丙烯酸三羟甲基丙烷酯。
16.权利要求13的方法,其中溶剂是水。
17.权利要求15的方法,其中z=至30和b=2。
