技术领域
本发明涉及一种应用于乘客防前冲系统中的织制面状形体及其制造方法。
背景技术
在目前所使用的气囊系统中,应用了气囊或气袋,它们原则上有潜在危险,即撞到充气的气袋的乘客被气囊中存在的高压弹回(橡皮球效应)。这可能对乘客造成严重的伤害。目前该问题例如通过复杂方式解决,即人们在气囊背向冲击侧设置通气孔或阀,或在这些区域中设置具有确定透气性的透气织物。这导致气囊在冲击乘客时由于气囊气体外流而萎陷,并相对较软地撞击乘客。然而,这具有缺点。一方面,当使用具有确定透气性的透气织物时,在绝对透气性方面可能出现波动,该波动在气囊冲击时可对气体的排出并据此对冲击强度产生不利影响。另一方面,在气囊萎陷时,气囊充气体中的燃烧剩余物可通过气囊通气孔到达乘客座位,从而也可导致伤害。
发明内容
本发明的任务在于,提供一种织制面状形体,其可避免或至少很大程度地减小,现有技术中已知的缺点。
该任务的技术解决方案在于一种应用于乘客防前冲系统中的织制面状形体,其包含有可塑性变形的丝线,该丝线在受载时允许沿至少一个面方向增大该织物表面,并且该织制面状形体具有一个涂层,特别是弹性涂层,该涂层有恒定的透气性。
本发明涉及各种类型的织制面材。该概念是指所有由纱线或纤维针织的、机织的、编织的、钩织的或其它类型的织制面材。为简明起见,在下文中说的总是涵盖所有上述变型形式的“织物”。
目前人们普遍将气囊称为车辆安全系统中的乘客防前冲机构。除此之外,还公开了作为安全带和气囊的组合的气带。由于按本发明的织物旨在既用于气囊中,又用于气带中,即用在所有具有用囊或囊状物来缓冲冲击乘客的用途的系统中,在本文中我们不称之为气囊织物,为概括和简明起见,而是仅称之为织物。
按本发明的织物与公开的气囊织物相比由于其结构而具有许多优点。
因此,通过使用可塑性变形的丝线,即具有保持伸展能力从而可在负荷下变长的丝线,在受到冲击(例如冲击乘客)时可以增大按本发明织物的表面。该织物的丝线立刻伸展,并由此变长,而又不扯断。当人体撞到按本发明的织物制成的气囊时,织物的体积由于织物的伸展而增加。这导致气囊中的压力降低,使气囊变软。同样减小了纤维直径(纤度减小)。这导致织物结点处的空隙变大;便出现小的“孔隙”。该表面相应变大。在织物的该结构中,织物不完全着重于透气性。这对于所要求的制造精度有很大优点。所需的均匀的透气性通过使按本发明的气囊织物具有涂层来实现。如此选择该涂层,即既使在很大程度的伸展(由于表面增大)时该涂层仍在所需范围内保持恒定的透气性。
该方法的另一个优点在于,在气囊织物的制造阶段中,透气性因素可被或多或少地被忽略,因为它可通过附加涂敷的涂层被调节。由此在制造方面实现了可观的成本优点。
按本发明的气囊织物的另一个优选的实施形式,在至少一个丝线系统中使用可塑性变形的丝线或纱线,使丝线系统具有这样的可能性,即在需要时可多级伸展。在充气阶段发生第一伸展级,其中纱线与像通常使用的纱线那样伸展。另一伸展级在冲击乘客时开始。可变形的纱线在其余的伸展能力的范围内继续伸展。通过附加的伸展(后续伸展)完成前面所述的体积增大。
在本发明的另一个优选的实施形式中,该涂层的形式为高弹性的膜或涂层。其优点在于,该膜具有与织物的后续伸展的程度相匹配的伸展度。覆盖有该膜的织物具有所需的透气性。织物同时由该膜“密封”。将按本发明的气囊织物应用在乘客防前冲系统中具有另一优点,即在应用于气囊的情况下充气所需的时间可以比普通气囊织物的充气时间短,因为在达到最终形状(与现有技术相同)之前在充气过程中没有充气气体可以选出。因此,充气时间比使用当前的织物的情况时短。因此具有按本发明的织物的气囊与传统气囊相比提供了更快速的冲击保护。本领域技术人员对该争取到的时间评价再高也不为过。

具体实施方式
在图1中示出了沿经向方向看去的一个气囊织物的大大简化的截面。在此,经线2是作为处在绘图平面中的小圆圈,同时作为经线2截面图形示出的,纬线4和4′(在此为简明起见以平纹组织示出)在绘图平面中从左向右伸展,并用公开的方式包绕经线2。(在图1中)在所示的织物的上表面上敷有一层膜6。该膜例如通过热连接或其它通常的粘结材料被敷到该织物上。在图1中所示的纬线4和4′和经线2的配置形式相应于气囊织物的状态,如其离开编织机和后涂胶后的状况。箭头8示出了想和能透过织物的空气量或织物的透气性。就是说,空气在经过织物时必需到达丝线之间或丝线的交点之间。
图2示出了与在图1中所示的织物,但是在碰到乘客躯体之后,通过一个从上向下指向的箭头12表出人的躯体。对沿箭头12方向冲击人体的反应产生气囊织物沿图2双箭头10的方向伸展。织物届时随之变化,即纬线4和4′伸长,据此经线2之间的距离变大。通过比较图1和2的气囊织物段,可以看出织物的表面由于纬线4和4′的塑性变形或伸展而增大。
然而,与其未伸展状态相比较,在伸展的织物中不变化的是其在此也用箭头8表示的透气性。如此选择涂层6,即在表面增大程度最大时,它也不允许与气囊织物的透气性所规定的值有所改变。

Claims (5)

1.应用于乘客防前冲系统中的织制面状形体,其特征在于,其包含有可塑性变形的丝线,该丝线在受载时允许沿至少一个面方向增大该织物表面,并且该织制面状形体具有一弹性涂层,该弹性涂层有恒定的透气性。
2.如权利要求1所述的织制面状形体,其特征在于,其在至少一个丝线系统中具有一种纱线,该纱线与普通纱线相比具有剩余的伸展能力。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的织制面状形体,其特征在于,该弹性涂层是一个膜。
4.至少部分地由按权利要求1-3所述的织制面状形体制成的气囊。
5.至少部分地由按权利要求1-3所述的织制面状形体制成的气带。
