Description

用于气雾剂容器的阀
本发明涉及一种用于一种气雾剂容器的阀,借助于该阀可对该容器中的成分的量进行分配。尽管本发明通常可用于分配气雾剂,但本发明特别适用于分配计量后的药品。
在分配一种处于气雾剂形式中的固体时,通常是用一种称之为悬浮剂气雾剂的东西。这就涉及采用一种液体推进剂,而欲被分配的固体悬浮在该液体中。然而不可避免的是:该欲被分配的固体和该推进剂的各自比重会稍稍不同,这就意味着:随着时间的推移和缺少其它的基本的相互作用,因此该两种成分在该容器中趋向于分离,轻的成分向上,而重的成分向下一直沉积到底部。
在一些药用气雾剂中,药物颗粒的密度比推进剂大,因此该些颗粒总是趋向于朝该容器的底部沉积。这种现象会因需要增加其物理稳定性而另外添加的药物,例如因被控制的絮凝而变得更加严重。被控制的悬浮剂的絮凝可使扩散中的颗粒的大小从小于10μm增加到大于100μm。在这种情况下,颗粒半径的平方特性将直接增加沉积率。
该悬浮剂气雾剂的使用者都被告知:使用前请将该容器充分地摇晃。然而,即使是在摇晃后,到将一定的该气雾剂的剂量喷出这一段很短的时间段内也足以产生一定程度的沉积。如果悬浮剂材料是药品,这就会形成一个突出的问题,因为它可导致病人虽然在体积上接受了正确的剂量,但该体积剂量中含有过少或过多的药物。
已经发现:这个问题在开发使用1,1,1,2-四氟乙烷,也即为所谓的HFA134a作推进剂的不含CFC的气雾剂配方时特别严重,HFA134a的密度比包含推进剂的常规CFC的密度小。采用这种推进剂并利用某个气雾剂药物配方,在该容器的阀设置于其底部时,则药物颗粒迅速沉积到该阀上并围绕着该阀,并且由于例如因输送而引起的振动可使它们进入阀体。这样,这些被困住的药物就不能充分地扩散,即使进行摇晃,也会因阀体的阻止仍是这样,当阀动作使被困住的药物排出进入计量腔时,这就会导致在接下来的动作中,在输送的剂量中含有过量的药物量。当药物是丙酸氟替卡松(fluticasone propionate)时,这个问题特别突出。
英国专利UK2195986描述了一种气雾剂阀,其中吸取点,即液体从容器内部流入该阀的取样腔中的点,处于一个这样的地方,即在容器定位使阀设置于其底部时,该点相对最接近的基本上水平的表面具有一合适的垂直距离。该阀可保证液体从上述最接近的区域流来,进入计量腔中,接着进行扩散运动,沉积的药物颗粒可聚集在该最接近的区域,同时任何可吸入取样腔的药物颗粒与在该取样腔中的该悬浮剂中沉积出的任何药物颗粒总是易于被困住,并且在摇晃时也不能扩散开。此外,由于有意将该吸取点放置于明显比该容器中的最低点高的高度,则可使该容器中相当多的含量不能扩散开,这就形成了显著的浪费。
因此本发明的目的是提供一种可克服上述问题的阀。
根据本发明,其提供了一种用于一种气雾剂容器、对包含在一种液体推进剂中的物质的悬浮剂进行分配的阀,该阀包括:一个具有至少一个孔的阀体,该孔可使一定量的悬浮剂从该容器流入该阀中,其特征在于:该阀还包括:一个绕该阀体设置的环,该环定位于该至少一个孔的下面,以便在该容器的定位是使阀设置于底部时,可减少聚集于该至少一个孔的下方的容器中的悬浮剂体积,这个具有至少一个轴向厚度减少的部分的环设有一个绕阀体设置并处于该至少一个孔的下方的凹槽。

借助于设置一个带有一组可使悬浮剂从该容器输送到该取样腔中的孔的阀体,该悬浮剂可通过取样腔自由地流动以致于可使装在该取样腔和容器中的悬浮剂在该容器被摇晃时相互混合,从而可使该取样腔中的任何药物颗粒沉积物扩散开。
合适的是,各个孔是沿基本上轴向方向延伸的狭缝形的。最好各狭缝延伸基本上通过该取样腔的整个轴向长度。
借助于将各狭缝的长度设置得与取样腔的长度一样,从而悬浮剂可自由地流过整个取样腔,从而可使在取样腔中的药物颗粒沉积物具有最大的扩散。
最好具有至少两条狭缝。
较合适的是,该环还包括一个使一个气封垫位于容器和阀之间以对该容器进行密封的座。
借助于在该环上设置一个定位该气封垫的座,可使该气封垫的尺寸减小,从而也可使该气封垫暴露给该容器的容纳物的面积减小。
较合适的是,当该容器定位得使该阀设置于其底部时,该环还包括一组在其周边由各狭缝分开并基本上朝上延伸的叶片。
借助于设置多个由在该环的周边处的狭缝分开的叶片,在该容器被摇晃时,可使悬浮剂绕各叶片流动并且通过各狭缝,并且因此而产生的悬浮剂涡流运动可帮助使沉积在该环上和该环周围的任何药物颗粒沉积物扩散开。
较合适的是,欲被扩散分配的物质是一种悬浮在液化HFA134a中的药物。最好该药物是丙酸氟替卡松(fluticasone propionate)。

阀杆7由回位弹簧6作用朝下偏压至非工作位置并具有一个与下阀杆密封件9抵靠的肩形部17。在图1所示的非工作位置,该肩形部17抵靠在下阀杆密封件9上并且径向通道11在该下阀杆密封件9下方敞开,以致于计量腔4与通道10隔断,从而内部的悬浮剂不会漏出。
一环18绕阀体设置于各狭缝下方,并形成有许多轴向厚度减少部分,该些部分的横截面为U形并在径向方向延伸,从而形成许多绕阀体设置的凹槽19。如图1和3所示,该环形成为一个由尼龙或任何其它合适的材料制成的单独部件,并且具有一个内环形接触凸缘,该凸缘的直径适于其与阀体1的上部形成摩擦配合,该环在各狭缝16的下方抵靠在台阶13上。然而,该环18也可作为替换方案形成为一个与阀体1一起的整体模压部件。

在使用该装置时,先将该容器摇晃摇晃,使该容器中的悬浮剂均匀。在该容器被摇晃时,其中的悬浮剂自由地流过取样腔5中的各狭缝16,从而可保证取样腔中的悬浮剂与该容器中的悬浮剂完全混合。这样不但可保证在容器和取样腔中的悬浮剂均匀,而且悬浮剂的流动也可用于使可能在取样腔5中从悬浮剂中沉积出的任何药品颗粒沉积物扩散开。摇晃该容器也可使该悬浮剂绕各叶片20流动,从而该悬浮剂的涡流运动和最终的紊流可帮助任何药品的颗粒沉积物在该环上扩散和绕该环扩散开。
然后,使用者按压阀杆7抵销弹簧6的弹性力。当按压阀杆时,通道15的两端运动到处于上阀杆密封件12的远离该计量腔4的侧面上。因此,在该计量腔中对一定的剂量进行计量。继续按压该阀杆将使该径向通道11运动到该计量腔4中,此时上阀杆密封件12相对该阀杆体密封。因此被计量过的剂量通过该径向通道11和出口通道10流出。

环18还可用于减少被收集于狭缝16下方的容器中的悬浮剂的体积。这样就可保证容器中的绝大部分含量可进行分配,当悬浮剂的高度下降到低于其可进入取样腔中的高度后,唯一需要浪费的悬浮剂量相应于处于各狭缝下方被减少的体积。
表1和2表示从两套五个吸入器每一个中输送,并以毫克(mg)计的活物作用重量的结果。两个表表示的数据是根据含有相当于160次动作的作用量的液化HFA134a丙酸氟替卡松(fluticasone propionate)悬浮剂的各吸入器得出的,这160次动作的作用量中的120份是输送的目标量,而多充装的40份量是用于损耗和泄漏用的。只有由动作号为115得出的数据表示两套吸入器的数据在该处是一致的。表1从第一套五个具有阀但不具有环的常规吸入器中得出的数据。图2表示从第二套五个具有阀和环的本发明的吸入器中得出的数据。

从表1中可看出:对于不具环的阀来说,在自动作号为124之后,作用重量开始变得不很一致了。但从表2中可看出:直到动作号为137时,作用重量仍保持大致一致,但这之后本发明所用的这些具有环的阀的数值迅速变小。因此可清楚地看出:环对所输送的活物作用重量的结果具有明显的影响。
本发明图2所示的第二实施例所述的阀是图1所示阀的一种变形,其中与图1所用的零部件对应的零部件在此用相同的标号标出。两个实施例的主要区别是图2所示阀的阀体1的设计不同,该阀体只有单个的孔26使取样腔5和容器内部之间保持连通。该阀的工作方式与图1所示的阀完全相同。图2所示的阀可用于这样的悬浮剂,即取样腔的沉积问题不是很严重,但阀周围的沉积比较严重。
表3表示当用于分配液化HFA134a丙酸氟替卡松(fluticasonepropionate)悬浮剂时,采用本发明第一实施例所示的并具有一个带有图1所示的三个狭缝的阀体的阀,与本发明第二实施例所示的并具有一个带有图2所示的单个孔的阀体的阀相比而得出的改进过的剂量再现性。表中给出的各数值是从至少五个吸入器中分配的平均剂量重量。对每一个吸入器来说,对从两次动作得出的剂量在将每个吸入器进行振动试验之前进行测量,以便模拟输送效果,之后再对从其它两次动作得出的剂量进行测量:

表3中所示数据清楚地表示:具有单个取样点(孔)的阀的极限剂量可变特性与带三个狭缝的阀的特性相比,因液化HFA134a丙酸氟替卡松(fluticasone propionate)的高沉积特性而显著降低。
应该懂得:本发明所公开的内容只是起到说明的作用,并不起限制作用,并且本发明的范围可包括在此基础上的各种修改,变形和改进。

Claims (9)

1,一种用于一气雾剂容器、用于分配容器内的一种包含在一种液体推进剂中的物质悬浮剂的阀,该阀包括一个具有至少一个可使一定量的悬浮剂从该容器流入该阀中的孔的阀体,其特征在于:该阀还包括一个绕该阀体设置的环,该环设置于该至少一个孔的下面,以便当该容器定位得使该阀设置于其底部时,可减少该至少一个孔的下面的容器内聚集的悬浮剂的体积,该环具有至少一个轴向厚度减小的部分,从而构成一个处于该至少一个孔的下面并围绕该阀体的凹槽。
2,如权利要求1所述阀,其特征在于:该阀是一个计量阀,包括:一计量腔,一取样腔,一个可将一定量的悬浮剂从取样腔输送到计量腔的输送通道,及一个具有一个分配通道的阀杆,该分配通道可将一定剂量的悬浮剂从计量腔进行分配,该阀杆可在该阀体内滑动以致于:在第一位置,该分配通道与该计量腔隔开而该计量腔通过该输送通道与该取样腔连通,在第二位置,该分配通道与该计量腔连通而该输送通道与该计量腔隔开,该阀体具有一组可使一定量的悬浮剂从该容器输送到该取样腔中的孔。
3,如权利要求2所述阀,其特征在于:该孔是沿基本上轴向方向延伸的各个狭缝。
4,如权利要求3所述阀,其特征在于:各狭缝沿该取样腔的基本上整个轴向长度方向延伸。
5,如前述任一权利要求所述阀,其特征在于:有多于两条的狭缝。
6,如前述任一权利要求所述阀,其特征在于:该环还包括一个用于定位一个用于密封该容器的气封垫的座。
7,如前述任一权利要求所述阀,其特征在于:当该容器定位得使该阀设置于其底部时,该环还包括一组在其周边由各狭缝分开并基本上朝上延伸的叶片。
8,包含前述任一权利要求所述阀并用于分配一种在液化HFA134a中的药物的悬浮剂的气雾剂容器。
9,如权利要求8所述气雾剂容器,其特征在于:该药物是丙酸氟替卡松(fluticasone propionate)。
