在所选活动结束之后,领导会话204的领导者然后可以选择同一交互式内容标题中的另一个活动来参与。对新活动的此类选择可以修改现有的领导会话204,以满足新活动的活动要求。例如,新活动可能要求十二个参与者,而前一个活动要求六个参与者。在同一示例中,可以修改领导会话204以将六个参与者槽位添加到现有的六个参与者槽位,从而向新的对等方开放领导会话204。另一方面,对新活动的选择可以限制领导会话204的领导者或对等方之一参与新活动。例如,如果新活动允许五个用户,但是领导会话204当前有六个参与者,则参与者之一将不参与活动。这样,可以在多个活动中维持已建立的领导会话204,而无需为每个活动建立新的领导会话204。
此外,如果领导者选择了不同的交互式内容标题中的活动,则领导者可以首先建立新的社交会话202,并将每个对等方从现有的领导会话204添加到新的社交会话202。领导者然后可以选择不同交互式内容标题中的活动,从而在新的交互式内容标题内建立新的领导会话204,并且可以将社交会话202添加或邀请到领导会话204,所述领导会话将新的社交会话202内的每个对等方添加或邀请到新的用户会话204。此类过程允许领导者和对等方在交互式内容标题之间或在交互式内容标题与平台之间转换,同时降低添加或邀请对等方参与领导会话204的失败风险。
如所提供和描述的多用户领导会话允许一组用户和对等方与多个活动和/或标题进行交互,而不必在每个不同活动和/或交互式内容标题中重新创建该组用户,从而允许该组用户和对等方通过多个活动以及活动之间的时间段来保持与彼此的交互。
图4是可用于启动交互式内容和提供动态界面的示例性用户电子娱乐系统。图4的娱乐系统400包括主存储器405、中央处理单元(CPU)410、向量单元415、图形处理单元420,输入/输出(I/O)处理器425、I/O处理器存储器430、外围接口435、存储卡440、通用串行总线(USB)接口445以及通信网络接口450。娱乐系统400还包括操作系统只读存储器(OS ROM)455、声音处理单元460、光盘控制单元470以及硬盘驱动器465,它们经由总线475连接到I/O处理器425。
娱乐系统400可以是电子游戏机。替代地,娱乐系统400可以被实现为通用计算机、机顶盒、手持式游戏装置、平板计算装置、虚拟现实装置、增强现实装置或移动计算装置或移动电话。娱乐系统可以包含更多或更少的操作部件,这取决于特定形状因数、用途或设计。

图4的娱乐系统400的用户经由外围接口435向CPU 410提供指令,其允许使用本领域中已知的各种不同的可用外围装置(例如,控制器)。例如,用户可以指示CPU 410将某些游戏信息存储在存储卡440或其他非暂时性计算机可读存储介质上,或指示游戏中的角色执行某个指定的动作。

各种形式的传输介质可以涉及将一个或多个指令的一个或多个序列运送至CPU以进行执行。总线将数据运送至系统RAM,CPU从所述系统RAM中检索并执行指令。由系统RAM接收到的指令可以任选地在由CPU执行之前或之后被存储在固定盘上。同样地,也可以实施各种形式的存储,以及必要的网络接口和网络拓扑以实现相同的目的。

Claims (20)

接收关于与交互式内容标题相关联的所选活动的输入;
检索与所述所选活动相关联的活动模板,所述活动模板包括指定用于启动所述所选活动的至少最小数量的参与者的活动属性;
至少基于所述活动属性来建立会话,其中所述会话具有基于由所检索的活动模板指定的所述最小数量的参与者的多个参与者槽位;
将用户分配为所建立的会话的领导者,所述领导者具有包括至少将对等方添加为所述会话中的参与者的领导职责;
根据领导者输入将多个对等方中的每一个添加到每个可用的参与者槽位;以及
在所建立的会话内发起所述所选活动;以及
在选择不同活动时维持所建立的会话,所述不同活动与指定不同会话属性的不同活动模板相关联。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中添加所述多个对等方中的每一个还包括:
向所述多个对等方中的每一个发送加入所述会话的邀请;以及
接收来自至少一个对等方的接受,其中基于所述接受将所述至少一个对等方添加到所述可用参与者槽位中的一个。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法,其中添加所述多个对等方中的每一个还包括:基于与所建立的会话的一个或多个属性相对应的所述多个对等方中的每一个的对等方数据,自动地将所述多个被邀请的对等方匹配到所建立的会话,所述属性由所述活动模板指定。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中基于由所述不同活动模板指定的不同的最小数量的参与者来修改与所建立的会话相关联的所述多个参与者槽位。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其还包括:将会话历史存储在会话存储器中,其中所存储的会话历史包括关于所建立的会话中的一个或多个过去活动的信息。
6.如权利要求5所述的方法,其中所存储的会话历史还包括关于所述领导者参与每个过去活动的领导者数据以及每个对等方在每个各自的过去活动中的对等方数据。
7.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所建立的会话还为在所建立的会话期间被允许观看所述所选活动的观众装置指定多个可用的观众槽位。
8.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中建立所述会话还包括在所述领导者和所添加的对等方间提供语音聊天。
9.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所建立的会话包括基于领导者偏好的会话属性。
10.如权利要求1所述的方法,其还包括:在所述领导者的装置退出所建立的会话时,将所添加的对等方中的一个分配为下一个领导者。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,其中分配所述下一个领导者是基于将所添加的对等方中的每一个添加到所建立的会话的顺序。
12.一种用于建立会话的系统,所述系统包括:
存储器,其存储多个交互式内容标题以及与所述交互式内容标题中的每一个相关联的至少一个活动模板;和
处理器,其执行存储在存储器中的指令,其中由所述处理器执行所述指令:
接收关于与存储在存储器中的所述交互式内容标题中的一个相关联的所选活动的输入;
从所述至少一个活动模板中检索与所述所选活动相关联的活动模板,所述活动模板包括指定用于启动所述所选活动的至少最小数量的参与者的活动属性;
至少基于所述活动属性来建立会话,其中所述会话具有基于由所检索的活动模板指定的所述最小数量的参与者的多个参与者槽位;
将用户分配为所建立的会话的领导者,所述领导者具有包括至少将对等方添加为所述会话中的参与者的领导职责;
根据领导者输入将多个对等方中的每一个添加到每个可用的参与者槽位;
在所建立的会话内发起所述所选活动;以及
在选择不同活动时维持所建立的会话,所述不同活动与指定不同会话属性的不同活动模板相关联。
13.如权利要求12所述的系统,其中所述处理器执行指令以通过以下方式添加所述多个对等方中的每一个:
向所述多个对等方中的每一个发送加入所述会话的邀请;以及
接收来自至少一个对等方的接受,其中基于所述接受将所述至少一个对等方添加到所述可用参与者槽位中的一个。
14.如权利要求13所述的系统,其中所述处理器执行指令以通过以下方式添加所述多个对等方中的每一个:基于与所建立的会话的一个或多个属性相对应的所述多个对等方中的每一个的对等方数据,自动地将所述多个被邀请的对等方匹配到所建立的会话,所述属性由所述活动模板指定。
15.如权利要求14所述的系统,其中基于由所述不同活动模板指定的不同的最小数量的参与者修改与所建立的会话相关联的所述多个参与者槽位。
16.如权利要求14所述的系统,所述处理器执行另外的指令以将会话历史存储在会话存储器中,其中所存储的会话历史包括关于所建立的会话中的一个或多个过去活动的信息。
17.如权利要求16所述的系统,其中所述会话历史还包括关于所述领导者参与每个过去活动的领导者数据以及每个对等方在每个各自的过去活动中的对等方数据。
18.一种非暂时性计算机可读介质,所述非暂时性计算机可读介质上体现有能够由处理器执行以执行用于建立会话的方法的程序,所述方法包括:
接收关于与交互式内容标题相关联的所选活动的输入;
检索与所述所选活动相关联的活动模板,所述活动模板包括指定用于启动所述所选活动的至少最小数量的参与者的活动属性;
至少基于所述活动属性来建立会话,其中所述会话具有基于由所检索的活动模板指定的所述最小数量的参与者的多个参与者槽位;
将用户分配为所建立的会话的领导者,所述领导者具有包括至少将对等方添加为所述会话中的参与者的领导职责;
根据领导者输入将多个对等方中的每一个添加到每个可用的参与者槽位;
在所建立的会话内发起所述所选活动;以及
在选择不同活动时维持所建立的会话,所述不同活动与指定不同会话属性的不同活动模板相关联。
19.如权利要求18所述的方法,其中添加所述多个对等方中的每一个还包括:
向所述多个对等方中的每一个发送加入所述会话的邀请;以及
接收来自至少一个对等方的接受,其中基于所述接受将所述至少一个对等方添加到所述可用参与者槽位中的一个,其中添加所述多个对等方中的每一个还包括:基于与所建立的会话的一个或多个属性相对应的所述多个对等方中的每一个的对等方数据,自动将所述多个被邀请的对等方匹配到所建立的会话,所述属性由所述活动模板指定。
20.如权利要求18所述的方法,其中基于由所述不同活动模板指定的不同的最小数量的参与者来修改与所建立的会话相关联的所述多个参与者槽位。
