Abstract

一种发现和优选用于硫化非极性橡胶的基于C6-C12烷基二硫代磷酸盐的硫化促进剂的方法,其中将C6-C12烷基二硫代磷酸盐与一种选自次磺酰胺类、噻唑类和氨基甲酸酯类的化合物混合,该混合物在非极性橡胶中的溶解性和促进剂的硫化动力学与标准促进剂相比进行了实验优选,而且任意加入另一选自次磺酰胺类、噻唑类和氨基甲酸酯类的化合物。

Description

促进剂混合物
在主链或侧链上含双链的橡胶可用硫黄或硫给予体交联。下面进一步提到的硫黄还包括其它硫给予体。交联方法也被称为硫化。在此方法中,硫黄(或硫给予体)与硫化促进剂一起使用。这些促进剂可由一种或两种或多种化学药品组成。
相对于硫黄及同时相对于所用橡胶中双键数量的硫化促进剂的量决定交联速度和网结构。这也决定了硫化胶的物理性质和耐老化性。
决定用于非极性橡胶,如EPDM橡胶的促进剂的必需数量是特别悬而未决的。为了获得满意的硫化胶性能,迄今必须选择如此大剂量的促进剂以致超过其溶解极限。这就引起了喷霜现象;特别是削弱了硫化胶模制品的耐动态性能。
在常规促进剂中所使用的多数的化学药品导致形成N-亚硝胺,原因是这些化学药品的分解产物通常为仲胺,它们在橡胶本身内或在周围环境气体空间中与亚硝基化剂(NOX)发生反应生成稳定的致癌性的N-亚硝胺。
迄今,已知不致癌的而且在非极性橡胶中溶解性适中的促进剂几乎没有。
也已经知道可溶解(=无喷霜)的促进剂混合物可由二硫代磷酸盐获得,但这些混合物导致形成致癌的N-亚硝胺。
本发明的目的在于发现促进剂混合物,这些混合物不会形成危险的N-亚硝胺,也不会形成或形成较少有毒性争议的硫化蒸汽,这呈现与标准体系相似的硫化动力学,并且这样制备的硫化胶的物理性能与用标准体系制得的硫化胶的物理性能相同。
本发明提供了一种发现和优选用于硫化非极性橡胶的基于C6-C12烷基二硫代磷酸盐的硫化促进剂的方法,该方法的特征在于将C6-C12烷基二硫代磷酸盐与选自次磺酰胺类、噻唑类和氨基甲酸酯类的一种化合物混合,该混合物在非极性性橡胶中的溶解性和促进剂的硫化动力学与标准促进剂相比进行了实验优选,并且任意添加迄今还未使用过的选自次磺酸胺类、噻唑类和氨基甲酸酯类的化合物。
详细地,C6-C12烷基二硫代磷酸盐可与实质上已知化合物混合,这样它们本身具有促进剂的作用,而且就硫化动力学和硫化性质而言,可以检测这些混合物的作用。有必要使用统计检测分配方法以有助于此目的。
已知的来自包括次磺酰胺类、噻唑类和氨基甲酸酯类物质类别的促进剂首先选作主促进剂,然后确定所选择的促进剂与二硫代磷酸盐的优选数量比例,优选地,一种混合物就是烷基二硫代磷酸锌与烷基二硫代磷酸胺锌的混合物。然后将另外的(已知的)来自不同于已经描述使用过的类别的一类物质的促进剂加入到该混合物中。例如,可将一种噻唑类促进剂加入到主促进剂次磺酰胺促进剂中。这样得到了次磺酰胺、噻唑与这种二硫代磷酸盐混合物的组合。
同时,测定了已知的促进剂在EPDM橡胶中的溶解性,因为迄今未得到在这方面的可靠数据,此数据提供了对于每一种促进剂不能超过的浓度极限——假定促进剂混合物不会引起喷霜现象(它在硫化胶表面以薄膜的形式呈现)。喷霜现象会破坏硫化胶的进一步加工性能或处理。
按照本发明这种方法获得的促进剂组合单元(package)可加入由硫黄(和/或硫给予体)、促进剂组合单元及另外的促进剂构成的交联体系中并进行试验,其中交联剂、促进剂组合单元及另外的促进剂的数量比例可以变化,以发现优选的数量比例。
因此,有可能确定促进剂组合单元,该促进剂组合单元与硫黄和另外的促进剂结合呈现慢速、中速和快速硫化速度。按照此方法,有可能建立各种所需的硫化特点,这种特点是由选取合适的标准体系来实现的。促进剂体系对硫化胶性能的影响是有限度的。决定性的因素是促进剂体系对硫化速度的影响,以致使用特殊加工方法的橡胶组合物的加工性能是有依赖性的。
通过本发明的促进剂体系与标准体系的直接比较(验证试验),可以说明用本发明的促进剂体系获得的硫化胶的性能与用标准体系获得的硫化胶的性能完全相同,硫化速度也可以调到标准体系的硫化速度。

Claims (2)

1.一种发现和优选用于硫化非极性橡胶的基于C6-C12烷基二硫代磷酸盐的硫化促进剂的方法,其特征在于将C6-C12烷基二硫代磷酸盐与一种选自次磺酰胺类、噻唑类或氨基甲酸酯类的化合物混合,该混合物在非极性橡胶中的溶解性和促进剂的硫化动力学与标准促进剂相比进行了实验优选,而且任意加入另一选自次磺酰胺类、噻唑类和氨基甲酸酯类的化合物。
2.一种按照权利要求1的发现和优选促进剂混合物的方法,其特征在于就与硫黄/硫给予体和另外的促进剂的数量比例而言,对该混合物进行实验优选。
