Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of plant cutting propagation, and particularly relates to an open-air cutting propagation method of vitex agnus-castus.
Background
Vitex agnus-castus Linn, which is a plant of Vitex in Verbenaceae, aromatic shrub, with a flowering phase of 6-9 months, originally produced in Mediterranean regions, Jiangsu, Shanghai and other places in China. The flowers of the vitex agnus-castus are beautiful, are rare flowers in summer, and the large blue-purple inflorescence of the vitex agnus-castus can greatly improve the integral aesthetic feeling in plant landscaping and has wide application in landscaping.
At present, the Vitex agnus-castus is mainly bred and cultivated by adopting the modes of seeding, cuttage and tissue culture. The cuttage propagation mainly selects the current-year twig as a scion in plum rain season to carry out hole tray shading cuttage, however, the propagation cost of the method is high, the management and protection requirements are strict, the cuttage survival rate is low, and only the twig in plum rain season can be selected for cuttage. Therefore, there is a need to develop a high-efficiency propagation method which is simple in operation, low in cost and capable of realizing successful cuttage in the dormant period.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to overcome the defects in the prior art, the invention aims to provide an open-air cutting propagation method of vitex agnus-castus.
In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows:
an open-air cutting propagation method of vitex agnus-castus comprises the following steps:
(1) ear strip production
Selecting the current-year old branches of the vitex agnus-castus in the dormancy stage, cutting off the tender branch parts, then cutting two sections of cut strips containing buds, carrying out transverse cutting treatment on the upper parts of the cut strips and carrying out oblique cutting treatment on the lower parts of the cut strips, wherein the distance between the cut ends and the buds is not more than 5 mm;
(2) open field cuttage
Ridging around the ridge, loosening and leveling the cutting bed, keeping the humidity of the cutting bed at 30% -60%, paving a plastic film, and then inserting the scion into the soil by adopting a direct cutting method, wherein the growth direction of the buds is upward, and the row spacing is 5-10 cm;
(3) transplanting
In the last 5 th of the year, the surviving scion branches after cuttage are dug together with soil balls, and then field planting or pot planting is carried out.
Preferably, in the step (1), the angle of the lower part beveling process of the section bar is 45-60 degrees.
Preferably, in the step (1), the time for shearing the ear strips is 10:00 am, so that the moisture of the ear strips can be prevented from being largely evaporated and lost.
Preferably, in the step (1), each section of the section contains two symmetrical bud points.
The scion selected in the existing cuttage technology of the vitex agnus-castus is a strong or overground twig in 4-9 months; the old branches in the current year in the dormancy stage (namely 11 to 1 ten days later), and the cut scions are kept at two nodes, each node contains two symmetrical bud points, so that the germination capacity of the branches in the later stage can be ensured, and the survival rate of cuttage is greatly improved.
Preferably, in the step (2), plastic films are covered on the furrow and the peripheral ridge. Therefore, the method is more beneficial to keeping the branches warm and storing soil moisture in winter.
Preferably, in the step (2), when the cutting is carried out, the uppermost bud is leveled with the ground when the length of the uppermost bud of the scion is less than 10cm, 1/2-2/3 of the uppermost bud is inserted into the soil when the length of the uppermost bud of the scion is more than or equal to 10cm, and after the insertion, water is sprayed on the film for moisture preservation.
In the step (3), when the bud points of the scion shoots out secondary branches, the scion shoots are cut to survive, the underground part of the scion shoots is completely rooted, the field planting or pot transplantation can be carried out, and a container with the volume of more than 1 gallon is adopted during the pot transplantation.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that: the method adopts an open-air cuttage propagation method, and the current-year old branches of the vitex agnus-castus are cut in the dormancy stage in winter to be directly planted in the furrows with the films laid flatly, and the scion leaves keep four bud points, so that the cuttage survival rate is improved. The method realizes the cuttage propagation of the vitex agnus-castus in the dormancy stage in winter for the first time, breaks through the traditional cuttage mode of the vitex agnus-castus, increases the selection range of the cuttings, changes the laying condition of the cuttage planting bed, reduces the production cost, is simple and convenient to operate, and has the cuttage survival rate of more than 95 percent.
