7. pest control
The prevention and treatment of main pests and diseases of the melons, such as damping-off, downy mildew, powdery mildew, gummy stem blight, bacterial soft rot, thrips, aphids, liriomyza sativae and the like are well carried out;
fifth, harvesting
The melon is about 35-45 days from flowering to mature period, the whole growth period is 100-one days in spring, 110 days in autumn and 80-90 days in autumn, the melon leaves are withered and yellow at the fruit stem and the reticulate patterns on the fruit surface are protruded and hardened during maturation, the melon vine is cut off by scissors during collection, the fruit stem is kept about 3 cm, and the melon is lightly taken and prevented from being scratched on the surface.
