Description

静脉膜附接系统和方法
本申请是发明名称为“静脉膜附接系统和方法”、国际申请日为2016年3月24日的国际申请PCT/US2016/024068进入中国国家阶段的中国发明专利申请号201680018351.2的分案申请。
技术领域
本发明总体涉及用于静脉(“IV”)输送的系统和方法,通过该系统和方法可以将流体直接给送至患者。更特别地,本发明涉及用于制造静脉输送系统的部件的系统和方法。根据本发明的静脉输送系统在本文中被广义地使用来描述用于将流体输送至患者的部件,以用于动脉、静脉、血管内、腹膜和/或非血管内的流体给送。当然,本领域技术人员可以使用静脉输送系统将流体给送至患者体内的其它部位。
背景技术
将流体给送至患者的血液流中的一种常见方法是通过静脉输送系统。在许多常见的实施方案中,静脉输送系统可以包括诸如液体袋的液体源、用于确定来自液体袋的流体的流速的滴注室、用于提供液体袋与患者之间的连接的管道、以及静脉接入单元,所述静脉接入单元为例如可以在患者的静脉内定位的导管。静脉输送系统还可以包括Y型连接器,其允许搭载静脉输送系统并且允许将药物从注射器给送至静脉输送系统的管道中。
通常良好的做法是从接入患者血液流的静脉输送系统中移除空气。虽然当接入动脉血液时尤其关注这一点,但当进入静脉侧时这也是一个关注点。特别地,如果在接受流体静脉给送时允许气泡进入患者的血液流,气泡可能形成空气栓塞并对患者造成严重伤害。
通常,在大多数成年人中,右心房和左心房彼此完全分开,使得血液和气泡从右心室移动到右心室,然后移动到肺部,在肺部,气泡可以被安全地排出。随后,无气泡的血液返回到左心房,在左心房,血液移动到左心室,然后送到整个身体。
然而,在婴儿和少部分成年人中,右心房和左心房未完全分开。因此,气泡可能从右心房直接移动到左心房,然后散布到整个身体。结果,这些气泡可能引起中风、组织损伤和/或死亡。因此,防止气泡进入患者的血液流是重要的。
虽然在启动加注(prime)静脉输送系统用于流体的静脉给送时移除气泡是重要的,但是完全移除气泡可能是个耗时的过程。该过程还可能因无意地触碰静脉输送系统的无菌端而导致静脉输送系统的污染。通常,当启动加注静脉输送系统时,关闭夹具以防止流体从滴注室移动通过管道。然后,静脉输送系统可以附接至IV袋或瓶上。一旦被附接,通常由透明柔性塑料制成的滴注室可以被挤压以使流体离开IV袋或瓶并进入滴注室。当打开夹具时,可以允许滴液室填充约1/3至1/2满,以允许流体通过管道流动至静脉输送系统的端部。
然而,这种初始过程通常会将空气捕获在管道中,必须移除所述空气。例如,流经静脉输送系统的管道的流体的流动可能是湍流,当流体和管道之间的边界层被剪切时,可能会将空气捕获在管道内。流出滴注室的流速可能高于进入滴注室的流体流速。当空气被从滴注室吸入到管道中时,这可能导致形成气泡梯。
另外,当流体液滴击打滴注室内流体池的表面时,也可能产生气泡。这些气泡可能被从滴注室拉入IV组件的管道中。该问题在儿科应用中可能会加剧,在儿科应用中,滴注孔口可能更小,这可能导致湍流增加。
为了从静脉输送系统中移除气泡,可以允许来自IV袋或瓶的流体流经管道,同时护理员轻拍管道以促使气泡从静脉输送系统的端部出来。由于允许流体流出静脉输送系统以从管道中清除气泡,可以允许流体流入废物篮或其他容器中。在该过程中,管道的端部可能与废物篮接触或被护理员触碰,因而被污染。该去气泡过程的另一个缺点在于其需要注意力和时间,这些注意力和时间可以用于执行可能对患者有价值的其他任务。
另一种去气泡方法是直接从静脉输送系统移除气泡。更特别地,如果静脉输送系统包括Y型连接器,可以通过注射器在Y型连接器处移除气泡。该方法仍然需要额外的时间和注意力,并且还可能存在污染待输送的液体的风险。
为了解决从静脉输送系统移除气泡的困难,各种现有技术的静脉输送系统已经采用了膜,所述膜用于在流体流经静脉输送系统时从流体过滤空气。例如,通常膜可以放置在滴注室的底部,使得流出滴注室的流体必须通过膜。膜可以构造成允许流体通过,但阻止空气通过。以这种方式,防止气泡进入通向患者的管道。类似地,膜可以包括在将管道联接到导管的连接器中,以阻止管道中存在的任何空气进入患者的脉管系统。
在这些现有技术的静脉输送系统设计中使用空气过滤膜是有益的。然而,这种膜会引入新的制造挑战。常规焊接工艺通常用于将具有相似熔点的材料附接在一起。焊接界面处的材料可以被熔化,从而混合在一起。然而,膜可以由具有特定流体动力特性的材料构成,其熔点可能与静脉输送系统的相邻部件中使用的材料的熔点显著不同。因此,传统焊接技术对于将膜附接在适当位置而言可能不起作用。
此外,为了将医疗保健的益处扩展到较低收入地区和个人,减少用于制造现有静脉输送系统的制造成本和工艺复杂性将是有益的。此外,提高该工艺的可靠性可以降低静脉输送系统因制造缺陷而不能正常操作的风险。
发明内容
本发明的实施例大体涉及具有防干涸膜的静脉输送系统。静脉输送系统可以具有包含待输送给患者的液体的液体源、包含防干涸膜的滴注单元、和管道。管道可以具有能够连接到液体源的第一端部和能够连接到排气盖和/或静脉输送单元的第二端部。
防干涸膜可以由亲水性材料形成,并且可以具有多个孔,所述多个孔允许液体流经防干涸膜,但阻止空气通过防干涸膜。防干涸膜可以固定到形成在滴注单元的外壁上的座上,以防止空气通过防干涸膜从滴注单元的顶部分流到滴注单元的底部分。防干涸膜可以通过使用附接部件固定到座上。
在一些实施例中,滴注单元可以具有第二外壁,其与外壁协作以限定滴注室,并且还用作附接部件。防干涸膜可以被捕获在外壁和第二外壁之间。外壁和第二外壁可以都完全形成,然后组装在一起,其中防干涸膜相对于外壁和第二外壁位于适当位置。在这种实施例中,第二外壁可以具有与外壁匹配的附接特征部。可替代地,可以形成外壁或第二外壁,并且防干涸膜可以相对于其放置在期望位置。然后,两者(外壁或第二外壁)中的另一个可以相对于防干涸膜模制在其最终位置处,从而通过嵌件成型捕获防干涸膜。
在替代实施例中,附接部件可以是具有面向膜的表面的垫圈,该垫圈放置成与防干涸膜接触以将防干涸膜保持在适当位置。垫圈可以通过超声波焊接、溶剂结合、激光焊接等等固定到外壁。面向膜的表面可以具有突出穿过防干涸膜的多个接合元件。每个接合元件可以具有远侧端部,所述远侧端部能够对接焊接或以其他方式附接到座,以将防干涸膜保持在适当位置。在替代方案中,垫圈的边沿可以通过剪切焊接等等固定到外壁的内表面。
在其它替代实施例中,附接部件可以是粘合环,当防干涸膜处于适当位置时,粘合环被施加于防干涸膜并且定位在座上。粘合环可以由压敏粘合剂形成。因此,响应于粘合环的压制,粘合环可以粘附到座上以及粘附到防干涸膜的附接表面上。
如果需要,可以使用干涉特征部来产生防干涸膜和外壁的内部之间的干涉配合。这种干涉特征部可以位于防干涸膜上,并且可以径向向外突出以接合外壁的内部。可替代地,这种干涉特征部可以位于外壁的内部上,并且可以径向向内突出以接合防干涸膜的周边。在任一种情况下,由此产生的干涉配合可以有助于在进行其它制造步骤时将防干涸膜保持在适当位置,而不会引起防干涸膜的过度起皱或其它变形。

参照图1,示出了根据一个实施例的静脉输送系统100的正视图。如图所示,静脉输送系统100可以具有多个部件,可以包括液体源102、滴注单元104、管道106、保持单元108、排气盖110和静脉接入单元112。图1中这些部件示出的方式仅仅是示例性的;本领域技术人员将认识到存在各种各样的静脉输送系统。因此,静脉输送系统100的各个部件可以省略、替换、和/或用不同于这些所示部件的部件补充。
液体源102可以具有容纳待静脉输送至患者的液体122的容器。液体源102例如可以具有膜120,膜可以由半透明的柔性聚合物或类似材料形成。因此,膜120可以具有袋状构造。膜120可以成形成容纳液体122。
滴注单元104可以设计成以测量的速率从膜120接收液体122,例如,作为以可预测的一致速率出现的一系列滴液。滴注单元104可以位于膜120下方,以便通过重力进给的方式接收液体122。滴注单元104可以具有从液体源102接收液体122的接收设备130、确定液体122被滴注单元104接收的速率的滴注特征部132、和限定滴注室134的外壁133,液体122被收集于该滴注室中。防干涸膜136可以定位在滴注室134内,以在液体122流入管道106的流动停止后能够在管道106内保持相当长度的流体柱,而不允许大量空气通过防干涸膜136流入管道106。
管道106可以是标准医疗级别管道。管道106可以由半透明的柔性材料形成,例如由硅橡胶形成。管道106可以具有第一端部140和第二端部142。第一端部140可以联接到滴注单元104,第二端部142可以联接到排气盖110,使得液体122从滴注单元104通过管道106流到排气盖110。
保持单元108可以用于保持静脉输送系统100的各个其它部件。如图所示,保持单元108可以具有主体150和延伸部152。一般而言,管道106可以连接至靠近第一端部140的主体150,并且连接至靠近第二端部142的延伸部152。作为保持单元108的附加或替代,可以使用各种齿条、支架和/或其他特征部。
排气盖110可以联接到管道106的第二端部142。排气盖110可以具有排气部,例如疏水性膜,该疏水性膜基本上可渗透空气、但不可渗透液体122。因此,来自排气盖110内的空气可以从静脉输送系统100排出,但限制液体122从静脉输送系统100泄漏。
静脉接入单元112可以用于将液体122供给到患者的脉管系统。静脉接入单元112可以具有第一端部170和接入端部172。第一端部170可以代替排气盖110连接到管道106的第二端部142。因此,当完全启动加注静脉输送系统100时,静脉接入单元112可以代替排气盖110联接到管道106的第二端部142。在替代实施例(未示出)中,可以使用诸如Y型适配器的各种连接器来将静脉接入单元112的第一端部170连接到管道106,而不用将排气盖110从管道106的第二端部142拆卸。
静脉输送系统100的启动加注可以通过如图1所示将部件(除静脉接入单元112外)连接在一起、然后允许液体122通过滴注单元104和管道106重力进给到排气盖110内来进行。如果需要,滴注单元104可以被挤压或以其他方式加压,以加速液体122流动通过管道106。
当液体122流经管道106时,空气可能被夹带在液体122中。空气可以与液体122柱一起从管道106的第一端部140朝管道106的第二端部142移动。该夹带空气可能靠近管道106的第二端部142聚集成气泡。排气盖110可以设计成接收液体122以容许该气泡通过排气盖110从静脉输送系统100排出。
一旦液体122例如因液体源102中的液体122耗尽而停止流入液体122,防干涸膜136就可以起作用以限制空气进入管道106的运动。防干涸膜136可以具有多个孔138,每个孔的尺寸使得在防干涸膜136下方形成液体122的弯液面。每个弯液面可以经由毛细作用而起到支撑管道106中的液体122柱的作用。防干涸膜136可以设计成便于在容许空气进入液体柱之前支撑具有相当长度的液体122柱。能够支撑的液体柱越长,静脉输送系统100在不同操作条件下越为坚固。
防干涸膜136可以通过使用各种制造方法固定到滴注单元104的外壁133。虽然已知各种焊接技术对于将塑料部件固定在一起是有效的,但是这种焊接技术通常依赖于部件具有相似的熔点,使得部件可以在焊接界面处熔化在一起并相互混合。将防干涸膜136附接到滴注单元104的外壁133可能会存在独特的挑战,这是因为这两个部件之间的熔点很可能不同。
更特别地,滴注单元104的外壁133可以由诸如PVC、SBC和TPO的各种材料中的任何材料形成。这种材料通常具有在约190℃至约210℃的范围内的熔点。相比之下,防干涸膜136可以由诸如聚醚砜(PES)的材料形成。在许多配制中,PES的熔点可以在约250℃至约350℃的范围内。因此,传统的制造技术可能不能提供防干涸膜136在外壁133上的牢固附接。外壁133可能开始熔化很久之后,防干涸膜136才达到其熔点;因此,外壁133的待附接防干涸膜136的部分可能在防干涸膜136开始熔化之前损失过多的形状和刚性。
在一些实施例中,可以使用附接部件(图1中未示出)将防干涸膜136机械地附接到外壁133。如下所述,将结合图2阐述用于将防干涸膜附接到外壁的概括性方法。
参照图2,示出了根据一个实施例的制造用于静脉输送系统的滴注室的方法200的流程图。将参照图1的静脉输送系统100描述方法200。然而,本领域技术人员将认识到,方法200可以与不同的静脉输送系统一起执行。类似地,静脉输送系统100可以通过使用不同于图2的方法来制造。
方法200可以以步骤220开始210,在该步骤中,提供滴注单元104的外壁133。外壁133可以由诸如PVC、SBC和TPO的聚合物制成,并且可以通过使用各种工艺制造,包括但不限于注射成型、吹塑成型、铸造和/或类似工艺。滴注室134可以至少部分地由外壁133限定。诸如滴注特征部132的其它部件可以与外壁133协作以完全限定滴注室134。值得注意的是,在一些实施例中,外壁133可以在防干涸膜136已经定位后才提供;然后如结合图5所述的,可以在防干涸膜136位于适当位置的情况下形成外壁133。
在步骤230中,可以提供防干涸膜136。防干涸膜136可以由诸如聚醚砜(PES)的聚合物制成,并且可以例如通过使用上文举例列出的工艺制造。用于形成防干涸膜136的工艺可以被调整以提供防干涸膜136的具有期望尺寸的孔138,所述孔可以被优化以容许液体122通过防干涸膜136、但限制空气通过防干涸膜136。
在步骤240中,可以提供附接部件。附接部件可以由各种材料制成和/或通过使用本领域已知的各种方法形成,这取决于附接部件的构造。在一些实施例中,附接部件可以由类似于外壁133的塑料材料制成,以便于将附接部件附接到外壁133。对于诸如焊接的附接方法,对于附接部件来说可以有利的是具有与外壁133的熔点类似的熔点。对于溶剂附接、粘合剂粘结和/或其它方法,可能期望附接部件和外壁133之间的化学组分高度相似。

在步骤270中,可以提供静脉输送系统100的其它部件。这些部件可以包括管道106和静脉接入单元112和/或将与滴注单元104一起包装和/或由制造商提供的其它部件。然后,方法200可以结束290。
如前所述,可以使用各种不同的附接部件来将防干涸膜136固定到外壁133。根据待使用的附接部件的类型,可以使用各种附接方法。下面,将结合图3至图9示出和描述示例性附接部件和方法。
参照图3,示出了根据一个实施例的滴注单元300的一部分的正视分解图。如图所示,滴注单元300可以具有外壁310、呈第二外壁312形式的附接部件、和防干涸膜314。外壁310和第二外壁312可以固定在一起,使得防干涸膜314夹在它们之间;因此,防干涸膜314可以被牢固地机械保持。滴注单元300可以具有类似于图1的滴注特征部132;为了清楚起见,在图3和其他实施例中省略了该滴注特征部。
滴注单元300可以有利地允许与通过将外壁310附接到第二外壁312而组装滴注单元300同步地将防干涸膜314固定在滴注单元300内的适当位置。将结合图4更详细地示出和描述滴注单元300的构造和操作。
参照图4,更详细地示出了图3的滴注单元300的一部分的正视截面图。如图所示,外壁310和第二外壁312可以协作以限定滴注室316,该滴注室从诸如图1的液体源102的液体源接收液体122。外壁310可以具有大体管状形状和/或截锥形状,并且具有呈由管状形状和/或截锥形状的端部限定的环形表面形式的座320。第二外壁312可以具有大体圆盘形状,并且具有附接部330和从附接部330突出的出口部332。
附接部330可以固定到外壁310和防干涸膜314,出口部332可以联接到管道106的第一端部140以将液体122输送到第一端部140。因此,附接部330可以具有设计成接触防干涸膜314的附接表面334,出口部332可以具有构造成能够连接到管道106的第一端部140的管道接口336。
附接部330还可以具有便于第二外壁312与外壁310匹配的附接特征部340。在图4的实施例中,附接特征部340可以包括外环342和内环344,外环和内环可以大体彼此同心,并且可以朝向外壁310突出。外环342和内环344可以间隔开以在外环342和内环344之间限定凹部346。外环342和内环344可以间隔开,使得外壁310的大体管状形状和/或截锥形状的端部可以被捕获在外环342和内环344之间。
附接表面334可以是定位在限定于外环342和内环344之间的凹部中的大体环形表面。防干涸膜314可以具有靠近其周边、面向外壁310的第一附接表面350和靠近其周边、面向第二外壁312的第二附接表面352。如图所示,当外壁310和第二外壁312组装时,防干涸膜314可以夹在外壁310和第二外壁312之间,使得第一附接表面350抵接外壁310的座320并且第二附接表面352抵接第二外壁312的附接表面334。
如果需要,如图所示,防干涸膜314、外环342和内环344的尺寸和位置可以使得当防干涸膜314被捕获在附接特征部340和外壁310的端部之间时,外壁310的端部与外环342和内环344中的任一个或两者干涉配合。更特别地,在防干涸膜314具有增加的厚度的情况下,外壁310的端部处的内径可以略小于内环344的外径。可附加地或可替代地,在防干涸膜314具有增加的厚度的情况下,外壁310的端部处的外径可以略大于外环342的内径。可附加地或可替代地,在防干涸膜314的将定位在外壁的内部和外部的部分具有增加的厚度的情况下,外壁310的端部的壁厚可以略小于凹部346的宽度,以便在凹部346与防干涸膜314和外壁310的端部之间提供干涉配合。
如果需要,外壁310的端部、外环342、和/或内环344中的一个或多个可以具有渐缩形状,其便于外壁310和第二外壁312的初始组装。这种渐缩形状的存在可能需要施加一些压制力以将外壁310推向第二外壁312,从而促使外壁310的端部完全坐置在凹部346内。这种渐缩形状可以便于外壁310和第二外壁312以上述干涉配合中的任何干涉配合组装。
如果需要,这种干涉配合可以单独地限定外壁310的周边与防干涸膜314之间的密封,和/或提供足够的拉拔力使得不需要使用其它附接方法来将外壁310附接到第二外壁312。可替代地,可以使用各种各样放入附接方法中的任何附接方法来将第二外壁312固定到外壁310。这些附接方法可以包括但不限于基于溶剂的化学键合、超声波焊接、激光焊接、热焊接、粘合剂粘结、诸如经由一个或多个卡扣特征部(未示出)的卡扣配合的机械紧固、或类似方法。
在替代实施例中,滴注单元的部件不需要都在组装之前形成。在其余部件已经位于适当位置的情况下,可以使用嵌件成型和其它技术来形成滴注单元的一个或多个部件。将结合图5示出和描述一个这样的实施例。
参照图5,示出了根据另一实施例的滴注单元500的一部分的正视截面图。如图所示,滴注单元500可以具有外壁510、呈第二外壁512形式的附接部件、和防干涸膜514。外壁510和第二外壁512可以固定一起,使得防干涸膜514夹在它们之间;因此,防干涸膜514可以被牢固地机械保持。然而,不同于在定位防干涸膜514之前形成外壁510,外壁510可以相对于第二外壁512和防干涸膜514嵌件成型在适当位置,使得不需要执行单独的组装步骤。
如图所示,外壁510和第二外壁512可以协作以限定滴注室516,该滴注室从诸如图1的液体源102的液体源接收液体122。外壁510可以具有大体管状形状和/或截锥形状,并且具有呈由管状形状和/或截锥形状的端部限定的环形表面形式的座520以及邻近座520的直径减小部522。第二外壁512可以具有大体锥形形状,并且具有附接部530和从附接部530突出的出口部532。
附接部530可以固定到外壁510和防干涸膜314,出口部532可以联接到管道106的第一端部140以将液体122输送到第一端部140。因此,附接部530可以具有设计成接触防干涸膜514的附接表面534,出口部532可以具有构造成能够连接到管道106的第一端部140的管道接口536。附接表面534可以简单地是凹部、沟槽或台阶的一部分,所述凹部、沟槽或台阶形成在第二外壁512的内表面中并邻近防干涸膜514。防干涸膜514的尺寸可以设计成配合在凹部、沟槽或台阶中。
附接部530还可以具有便于使外壁510与第二外壁512接合的环形壁540。更特别地,环形壁540的尺寸可以设计成容纳外壁510的直径减小部522。当滴注单元500完全组装时,防干涸膜514可以具有抵接附接部530的第一附接表面550和抵接附接表面534的第二附接表面552。
外壁510可以通过注射成型来制造。更特别地,可以首先形成第二外壁512和防干涸膜514。然后,如图5所示,防干涸膜514可以相对于第二外壁512定位,使得第二附接表面552与第二外壁512的附接表面534接触。然后,第二外壁512和防干涸膜514可以定位在用于模制工艺(例如注射成型)的模具中。
然后,可以通过使用模具将外壁510模制在适当位置。如图5所示,模具可以被打开以释放滴注单元500,该滴注单元可以处于完全组装状态。外壁510的直径部分522可以接合第二外壁512的环形壁540,使得外壁510和第二外壁512保持组装,并且防干涸膜514保持捕获在外壁510的座520和第二外壁512的附接表面534之间。
有利地,不需要使用额外的组装和/或附接工艺来将外壁510和第二外壁512固定在一起。嵌件成型工艺可以在外壁510和第二外壁512之间形成牢固的密封附接。然而,如果需要,还可以使用一个或多个附加的附接工艺,例如基于溶剂的化学键合、超声波焊接、激光焊接、热焊接、粘合剂粘结和机械紧固,以进一步将外壁510和第二外壁512固定在一起。在形成外壁510时,防干涸膜也可以放置在模具中并且包覆成型。然后,可以通过如上所述的各种附接技术将外壁和防干涸膜附接到第二外壁512。
在替代实施例中,可以以各种不同方式使用嵌件成型来将防干涸膜固定到外壁。例如,在一些实施例中(未示出),防干涸膜可以被嵌件成型到诸如盘的模块中。然后,可以通过使用任何已知的附接方法将模块固定到外壁,附接方法包括但不限于上文列出的方法。
在其他替代实施例中,滴注单元可以具有不限定滴注室的边界的附接部件。这种附接部件可以置于滴注室内,以将防干涸膜固定到内壁。将结合图6A至图7示出和描述这种实施例的一个示例。
参照图6A,示出了根据另一实施例的滴注单元600的一部分的侧视分解截面图。如图所示,滴注单元600可以具有外壁610、呈垫圈612形式的附接部件、和防干涸膜614。外壁610和垫圈612可以固定在一起,使得防干涸膜614夹在它们之间;因此,防干涸膜614可以牢固地机械保持在由外壁610限定的滴注室616内。由于垫圈612不形成滴注室616的边界,所以在垫圈612和外壁610之间不需要必须形成密闭密封。
如图所示,外壁610可以具有大体管状形状和/或截锥形状,并且具有大体环形形状的搁板618。呈环形表面形式的座620可以存在于搁板618的内部。防干涸膜614可以具有面向座620的第一附接表面650和面向垫圈612的第二附接表面652。垫圈612可以具有大体环形形状,并且具有呈面向膜的表面640的形式的附接表面,该面向膜的表面具有从其延伸的多个锚定元件642。每个锚定元件642可以具有远侧端部,该远侧端部具有能够刺穿防干涸膜614的尖锐末端。
当防干涸膜614要固定到外壁610上时,可以首先将防干涸膜614定位成使第一附接表面650搁置在外壁610的座620上。然后,垫圈612可以定位在防干涸膜614上,其中锚定元件642的远侧端部搁置在防干涸膜614的第二附接表面652上。可以将垫圈612朝向座620驱使,使得锚定元件642刺入防干涸膜614。可以驱使锚定元件642通过防干涸膜614,直到它们从第一附接表面650露出并与座620接触。
在锚定元件642的远侧端部与座620接触的情况下,锚定元件642的远侧端部可以固定到座620上。这可以通过上文提到的附接程序中的任何附接程序而进行。在一些实施例中,可以使用超声波焊接、溶剂结合、和/或激光焊接。锚定元件642的远侧端部可以自然地用作超声波振动的能量指引部、用于热流的焦点和/或类似物,并且因此可以优先熔化成与座620接合。因此,锚定元件642的远侧端部可以容易地对接焊接到座620。至于其他类型的附接部件,垫圈612可以有利地由与外壁610类似的材料制成,以便为所选择的将垫圈612附接到外壁610的方法提供兼容性。
参照图6B,更详细地示出了图6A的滴注单元600的垫圈612的透视图。锚定元件642的数量、形状和布置仅仅是示例性的;在本公开的范围内可以使用许多不同的锚定元件构造。将结合图7更详细地示出和描述垫圈612附接到外壁610的滴注单元600。
参照图7,示出了处于完全组装状态的图6A和图6B的滴注单元600的一部分的正视截面图。如图所示,垫圈612的锚定元件642可以在其远侧端部处熔化,并且与外壁610的座620熔合。因此,垫圈612可以将防干涸膜614牢固地捕获在抵靠座620的适当位置。从滴注室616的上部分流到滴注室616的下部分的流体,例如液体122,可能必须移动通过垫圈612的内部并且通过防干涸膜614,以便到达滴注室616的底部。
如果需要,锚定元件642可以设计成使其围绕防干涸膜614的周边形成密闭密封。这可以有助于确保空气不能在防干涸膜614的边缘周围移动进入滴注室616的底部。可替代地或可附加地,可以使用单独的程序来提供围绕垫圈612的外部的密封。可替代地或可附加地,防干涸膜614的尺寸可以设计成使得其外边缘的尺寸设计成接触外壁310的内表面并靠近座620。这可以有助于确保流体必须通过防干涸膜614以达到滴注室616的底部。如果需要,可以使用防干涸膜614和外壁610的内表面之间的干涉配合以进一步限制在防干涸膜614的边缘周围的流体流动。
作为又一替代实施例,垫圈612可以在其外边缘处固定到外壁610的内表面。例如,作为使用将锚定元件642直接附接到座620的对接焊接或其它附接程序的附加或替代,可以使用剪切焊接或其它附接来将垫圈612的边沿附接到外壁610的内表面。
如前所述,在本公开的范围内可以使用许多不同的接合元件构造。将结合图8示出和描述一个额外的示例性构造。
参照图8,示出了根据另一实施例的滴注单元800的一部分的透视分解截面图。滴注单元800可以具有与图6A至图7类似的构造。因此,滴注单元800可以具有外壁810、呈垫圈812形式的附接部件、和防干涸膜814。外壁810和垫圈812可以固定在一起,使得防干涸膜814夹在它们之间;因此,防干涸膜814可以牢固地机械保持在由外壁810限定的滴注室816内。由于垫圈812不形成滴注室816的边界,所以在垫圈812和外壁810之间不需要必须形成密闭密封。
如图所示,外壁810可以具有大体管状形状和/或截锥形状,并且具有大体环形形状的搁板818。呈环形表面形式的座820可以存在于搁板818的内部。防干涸膜814可以具有面向座820的第一附接表面850和面向垫圈812的第二附接表面852。垫圈812可以具有大体环形形状,并且具有呈面向膜的表面840形式的附接表面,该面向膜的表面具有从其延伸的多个锚定元件842。每个锚定元件842可以沿着外壁810的内表面设置并邻近座820。每个锚定元件842可以具有渐缩形状,该渐缩形状构造成容许锚定元件842刺穿防干涸膜814和/或使防干涸膜814的外边缘向内偏转,以允许锚定元件842运动接触座820。
如在图6A至图7的实施例中一样,锚定元件842的远侧端部可以对接焊接到外壁810的座820上,例如通过超声波或激光焊接。可附加地或可替代地,锚定元件842与外壁810的内表面之间的接触可以便于将锚定元件842的面向外的边缘剪切焊接到外壁810的内表面。滴注单元800可以以类似于图6A至图7的滴注单元600的方式组装。
在本公开的范围内的附接部件不需要是刚性结构。而是,如本文所使用的,“附接部件”可以是具有足够机械硬度以相对于外壁机械地保持防干涸膜的任何附着结构。下面将结合图9示出和描述具有更柔性的结构的一个示例性附接部件。
参照图9,示出了根据另一实施例的滴注单元900的一部分的正视截面图。滴注单元900可以具有外壁910、呈粘合环912形式的附接部件、和防干涸膜914。因此,防干涸膜914可以牢固地机械保持在由外壁910限定的滴注室916。
如图所示,外壁910可以具有大体管状形状和/或截锥形状,并且具有大体环形形状的搁板918。呈环形表面形式的座920可以存在于搁板918的内部。防干涸膜914可以具有面向座920的第一附接表面950和面向粘合环912的第二附接表面952。粘合环912可以具有大体环形形状,并且具有面向座920的第一附接表面940和面向防干涸膜914的第二附接表面942。
粘合环912可以由压敏粘合剂形成。如果需要,粘合环912可以被模切并在支持板上进给,然后连结到防干涸膜914。更特别地,粘合环912的第二附接表面942可以放置成与防干涸膜914的第一附接表面950接触。作为响应,粘合环912可以用足以便于组装的力粘附到第一附接表面950。
然后,如图9所示,粘合环912和防干涸膜914可以放置在座920上。粘合环912的第一附接表面940可以粘附到粘合环912上。然后,在粘合环912和防干涸膜914处于适当位置的情况下,粘合环912可以被压制,以使粘合环912更牢固地粘附到座920和防干涸膜914上。这可以例如通过以下方式进行:将固定件(未示出)推入滴注室916中并将固定件压靠在防干涸膜914的第二附接表面952上,以将粘合环912压制在防干涸膜914的第一附接表面950和外壁910的座920之间。
粘合环912可以在防干涸膜914和座920之间形成结构性结合和密闭密封,从而使流体流经防干涸膜914,以便从滴注室916的上部分移动进入滴注室916的下部分。如果需要,除了由粘合环912提供的粘合之外,还可以应用其它附接方法。
以上示出和描述的实施例仅表示可以在本公开的范围内使用的附接部件的一些示例。在一些实施例中,可以使用一个或多个保持特征部来便于和/或强化防干涸膜至外壁的附接。在一些实施例中,可以在防干涸膜和外壁之间提供干涉配合。这种干涉配合可以有助于在执行其它附接和/或组装步骤期间机械地保持防干涸膜,并且甚至可以在已经完成滴注单元的组装后提供对防干涸膜的更为牢固的保持。下面将结合图10和图11示出和描述使用干涉配合的保持特征部的示例。
参照图10,示出了根据另一实施例的滴注单元1000的一部分的透视截面图。滴注单元1000可以具有外壁1010和防干涸膜1014。滴注单元还可以具有附接部件(未示出),其可以是本文公开的任何类型的附接部件。
如图所示,外壁1010可以具有大体管状形状和/或截锥形状,并且具有大体环形形状的搁板1018。呈环形表面形式的座1020可以存在于搁板1018的内部。防干涸膜1014可以具有面向座1020的附接表面1050和面向滴注室1016的上部分的相对表面1052。座1020可以具有脊部1022,防干涸膜1014的表面1052搁置在该脊部上;脊部1022可以用作焊接工艺(例如超声波焊接)的能量指引部。
滴注单元1000可以具有呈多个干涉特征部1060的形式的多个保持机构,所述干涉特征部从外壁1010的内表面向内突出,靠近座1020。干涉特征部1060外接的直径可以略小于防干涸膜1014的直径。因此,当防干涸膜1014移动成与座1020接合时,干涉特征部1060可以导致存在干涉配合。这种干涉可能较小,例如,约为0.001英寸到0.004英寸。因此,可以避免防干涸膜1014的过度变形。
干涉特征部1060可以是较窄的凸缘,其共同地仅占据外壁1010的内表面的圆周的较小部分。这种几何形状可以有助于避免防干涸膜1014起皱或出现其它更显著的变形,否则如果在防干涸膜1014的圆周的较大部分周围存在干涉配合,可能出现可能这种现象。相反,当防干涸膜1014被推到座1020上的适当位置时,干涉特征部的较小宽度可能使得在防干涸膜1014中发生局部变形。然而,防干涸膜1014的绝大部分区域可以相对保持不变形。
干涉特征部1060可以有助于在执行其它附接特征期间将防干涸膜1014保持在适当位置,其它附接特征例如是将防干涸膜1014的附接表面1050超声波焊接到座1020的脊部1022上。
干涉特征部1060仅仅是示例性的。在本公开的范围内可以使用各种各样的替代干涉特征部构造。此外,在本公开的范围内可以替代地或附加地使用不是干涉特征部的各种保持特征部。将结合图11示出和描述一个替代的干涉特征部构造。
参照图11,示出了根据另一实施例的防干涸膜1114的平面图。防干涸膜1114可以与其它实施例中公开的外壁中的任何外壁组合使用或与具有不同构造的外壁(未示出)组合使用。防干涸膜1114可以具有搁置在外壁的座(未示出)上的附接表面1150。
此外,防干涸膜1114可以具有呈干涉特征部1160的形式的多个保持特征部,所述干涉特征部向外突出,朝向外壁的内表面。干涉特征部1160可以与内表面形成干涉配合,例如,干涉范围为0.001英寸至0.004英寸。在插入防干涸膜1114使其与外壁的座接合的过程中,干涉特征部1160可以偏转(通过弯曲、轴向压制等等)以容许插入。因此,干涉特征部1160可以以拉紧的方式加载,从而提供与外壁的内表面的摩擦接合。如在图10的实施例中那样,干涉特征部1160可以有助于在执行其它附接和/或组装步骤期间和/或之后将防干涸膜1114保持在适当位置,而不会引起防干涸膜1114的其它部分的过度变形。

Claims (4)

1.一种用于制造静脉输送系统的方法,所述方法包括:
提供滴注单元,所述滴注单元具有搁板,所述搁板包括位于所述搁板的内部的座;
提供防干涸膜,所述防干涸膜包括多个能够渗透待输送至患者的液体的孔,其中,所述防干涸膜由构造成抵抗空气通过所述孔的亲水性材料形成,所述防干涸膜包括面朝下的第一附接表面和面朝上的第二附接表面;
将所述第一附接表面搁置在所述滴注单元的所述座上;
提供呈具有环形形状的垫圈形式的附接部件,所述垫圈具有底表面,多个锚定元件从所述底表面延伸,其中,每个锚定元件具有远侧端部,所述远侧端部具有能够刺穿所述防干涸膜的尖锐末端;
将所述附接部件定位在所述防干涸膜的所述第二附接表面上,使得所述锚定元件的所述远侧端部刺穿所述防干涸膜并接触所述滴注单元的所述座;和
通过熔化与所述滴注单元的所述座相接触的所述锚定元件的所述远侧端部以将所述附接部件和所述防干涸膜熔合到所述滴注单元的所述座,来将所述附接部件固定到所述滴注单元的所述座,其中,所述滴注单元成形为至少部分地限定从液体源接收液体的滴注室。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,将所述锚定元件固定到所述滴注单元的所述座的步骤包括将所述锚定元件的所述远侧端部对接焊接到所述滴注单元的所述座上。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,还包括:
提供管道,所述管道包括第一端部和与所述第一端部相对的第二端部,所述第一端部能够连接到所述滴注单元;和
提供静脉接入单元,所述静脉接入单元能够连接到所述管道的所述第二端部以将液体静脉输送至患者。
4.一种用于静脉输送系统的滴注单元,所述滴注单元包括:
外壁,所述外壁成形为至少部分地限定从液体源接收液体的滴注室,所述外壁包括搁板,所述搁板具有位于所述搁板的内部的座;
防干涸膜,所述防干涸膜包括面朝下的第一附接表面和面朝上的第二附接表面以及多个能够渗透液体的孔,其中,所述防干涸膜由构造成抵抗空气通过所述孔的亲水性材料形成,所述第一附接表面与所述座相接触;和
呈具有环形形状的垫圈形式的附接部件,所述垫圈具有与所述第二附接表面相接触的底表面,所述底表面包括从所述底表面延伸的多个锚定元件,其中每个锚定元件具有远侧端部,所述远侧端部具有能够刺穿所述防干涸膜的尖锐末端,所述锚定元件的所述远侧端部构造成在刺穿所述防干涸膜的所述第一附接表面和所述第二附接表面之后与所述搁板的所述座相接触,其中与所述搁板的所述座相接触的所述远侧端部构造成被熔化以便将所述附接部件和所述防干涸膜熔合到所述搁板的所述座。
