Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ■発明の背景 (技術分野) この発明は、輸液輸血セット、連結管等を用いる際に併
用される通気針およびその製造方法に関する。
(従来技術および問題点) 従来、輸液輸血セット、連結管等において、たとえば薬
液ビンから薬液を排出させるため、薬液ビンの止栓部に
通気針を貫通させ、これを介して、外気を薬液ビン中に
導入することがおこなわれている。この場合、外気から
のゴミ、雑菌の侵入を防止する必要があり、そのため通
気針には通常フィルタが組込まれている。たとえば脱脂
綿等の細い繊維を丸めて上記通気針の針基(ハブ)部分
に圧入したシ、あるいはポリエチレン等の焼結体を上記
ハブ部分に埋め込んだいわゆるデプスタイプのもの、あ
るいはメンプラン等からなる膜様フィルタをキャップあ
るいはホルダ等で上記ハブ部分に固定させたスクリーン
タイプのもの(たとえば笑公昭58−92946号)が
知られている。
しかし、前者のデグスタイプのものは構造上密な部分と
粗な部分のバラツキが生じ易く耐水圧性が不十分と表る
おそれがあシ、通気性、除菌効果も不十分となるおそれ
がある。
又、後者のスクリーンタイプのものは通気孔を比較的一
定な本のとすることができるため、耐水性および通気性
の点で好ましいがキャップ等の別部材にフィルタを取付
け、あるいはホルダにより、これを穿刺針のハブ部分に
組込むようにしているため、ゴミ、雑菌を含む外気がフ
ィルタ以外の部分から侵入するおそれがあるとともに、
部品点数が多くなシ、組立てが繁雑となシ、均一性が悪
くかつ製造コストが高く々るという問題がある。
■発明の目的 この発明は上記事情に鑑みてなされたものであって、ス
クリーンタイプのフィルタを用いその特長を保持させな
がら、除菌効果を一層向上させることができ、品質が均
一であって、かつ製造が簡単でコストの低減を図ること
ができる通気針およびその製造方法を提供することを目
   −的とする。
■発明の概要 この発明は針管状の刺通部と;該刺通部の基端を一端に
保持し、他端に上記刺通部と連通ずる開口部を有するハ
ブと;該ハブの連通路に該連通路を横切るように張設さ
れた膜状フィルタとを具備してなる通気針であって:該
フィルタが補強層と該補強層より高い融点を有する撥水
性フィルタ層との二層構造を′なし、該撥水性フィルタ
層が上記刺通部側に向けて張設され、上記補強層は前記
ハブと熱融着可能な素材であって、前記ハブの前記連通
路の内壁の前記開口部に対向する環状面と前記補強層が
上記撥水性フィルタ層の細孔を介して全周に亘って熱融
着されていることを特徴とする通気針を提供するもので
ある。さらに、この発明は上記通気針において、上記補
強層が熱融着性不織布、たとえばポリグロビン不織布で
あるもの、撥水性フィルタ層が上記補強層より融点が実
質的に高い材料からなるもの、たとえばポリテトラフル
オロエチレンフィルタからなるものを提供する。
さらに、この発明は一端に針管状刺通部を保持し、該刺
通部と連通した開口部を有する熱可塑性樹脂からなるハ
ブの前記連通路内壁に、該開口部に向かう環状面を形成
する工程と、前記ハブと熱融着可能表補強層と、該補強
層より高融点の撥水性フィルタ層の二層構造から成るフ
ィルタを、前記撥水性フィルタを前記刺通部側にして、
前記環状面に載置し、ついで、前記フィルタと前記環状
面が相対する加圧下において、前記補強層ならびに前記
環状mI/i溶融するが、前記−水性フィルタは溶融し
危い温度で加熱して、゛前記環状面の一部を溶融して、
前記撥水性フィルタ層の細孔を透過させ、前記補強層と
前記環状面を全周に亘って熱融着させる工程とを具備し
てなることを特徴とする通気針の製造方法を提供するも
のである。
さらに、この発明は上記方法において熱融着工程を超音
波融着によりおこなう方法;上記段部に形成された突起
条がこの段部に沿って形成された断面逆V字形のもので
ある方法を提供するものである。
■発明の詳細な説明 以下、この発明を図示の実施例を参照して説明する。
第1図は本発明の一実施例に係わる通気針を示すもので
あって、たとえばポリプロピレンからなる射出成形され
たハブ1の先端にカヌラ2の基端がたとえばエポキシ系
接着剤5等を介して接着固定されている。なお、本発明
はこれに限定されず、刺通部と基端部がグラスチックで
一体的に形成したものでもよい。゛このハブ1の基端は
開口し、その開口部近傍の内壁に沿って環状段部3が形
成され、この段部の開口部側環状面3ILに膜状フィル
タ4がその外周縁を介し全周に亘って融着されている。
このフィルタ4はたとえばゴアテックヌ社製Gore 
tax■ラミネートA L 10431で厚さ100μ
mのポリプロピレン不織布からなる補強層4aと、厚さ
100μm、平均孔径Q、l、cLrnのプリテトラフ
ルオロエチレンからなる撥水性フィルタ層4bとの二層
構造をなしている。この撥水性フィルタ層4bが上記カ
ヌラ側に向けられ、補強層4aは後述の如く撥水性フィ
ルタ層4bの細孔4C(WJs図参照)を透過した環状
段部溶融部と一体化して固着されている。
このフィルタ4をハブ内壁に融着させる一具体例につい
て詳述すると、まず第2図に示す如く、ハブ1の開口部
近傍に開口部に向く環状面31Lを有する上記段部3を
形成するとともに、この段部JK沿って環状リプ(環状
突条)6を突設させる。この環状突条6の大きさは、例
えば、その断面が底辺0.3 wi、、高さ0.3 v
exの三角形のものである。
次に、第3図に示す如く、フィルタ用シート7をハブ1
の開口部に対向させて、あるいはその近傍に配置させ、
ついで打抜きポンチ8により所定形状例えば直径4.6
ms+のフィルタ4を打抜いたのち、これを上記ハブ開
口部に導入するとともに、この打抜きポンチ8内に突出
自在に内蔵された突出しピン9を突出させてフィルタ4
を上記段部3の環状突条6上に載置させる。
また、別の方法として第6図に示す如く、ポリプロピレ
ン不織布4aとポリテトラフルオロエチレンフィルム4
bとからなるフィルタ用シート7を打抜きポンチ12に
よって所定形状のフィルタ4を打抜き、これを負圧に維
持した吸着パイプ13で吸着し、これを上記ノ111内
に移送させた後、吸着ノクイグ13内に瞬時加圧空気を
吹き込み、フィルタ4を上記段部3の環状グツ6上に載
置させてもよい。
次に、第4図に示す如く超音波融着装置10の振動子1
1(下端が上記突条6の径例えば4.2置より若干大き
く、ハブ内径、例えば4.8■より小さい外径を有する
もの)を上記ノー11の開口部内に導き、超音波により
段部3のリプ6部分を加熱溶融してフィルタ4周縁部を
ノ・プ1の段部3に一体的に固着させる。
この時の加熱温度は突条6と補強層4aは溶融するが、
撥水性フィルタ4bは溶融し危い範囲である。突条6と
補強層4aの材質がポリプロピレン(融点164〜17
0℃)、撥水性フィルタ4bがポリテトラフルオロエチ
レン(融点327℃)の場合は200〜300℃の範囲
が望ましい。
また、この時、゛超音波振動子11でフィルタ4を段部
3方向に押えつける。もちろん加圧手段は、振動子11
以外の手段でもかまわない。
第5図は、この結果得られたフィルタ4の融着部の状態
を模式的に示している。すなわち、超音波は方向性が高
いため段部3上の突条6が超音波により直ちに溶融し、
加圧状態にあるためこの溶融物が撥水性フィルタ層4b
の細孔4cを透過して、同じく溶融状態にある補強層4
aと一体的に混り合い、その結果、補強層4aが段部3
の環状面3&に強固に固着されることになる。この時、
固着断面の巾Wが0.1置以上に表ることが望ましい。
この条件を満たすように使用する材質に合った加熱温度
、加圧圧力を設定する。
なお、このよう表題音波融着手段の採用は好ましいもの
であるが、これによらず他の加熱手段によってフィルタ
4をノ\プ1の上記開口部内壁段部3に固着させるよう
にしてもよい。又、撥水性フィルタ4bおよび補強層4
&の材質に■ ついては上記例のものに限らず適宜選択し得るが、ハブ
と補強層の材質は相互に熱融着し得る屯の、撥水性フィ
ルタ4bは補強層4aの上記ハブ1への熱融着時の条件
下で溶融し危いものをそれぞれ選ぶ必要がある。例えば
、補強層−撥水性フィルタの組み合せは、Iリプロピレ
ンーテフロン、ポリエチレン−テフロン、プリカー&ネ
ートーテフロン、ポリ塩化ビニル−テフロン、ポリプロ
ピレン−ナイロン、ポリグロピレンーIリフ、化ビニリ
デン等がある。
■発明の作用効果 以上詳述した如く、本発明によれば撥水性フィルタと補
強層の二層構造のフィルタを撥水性フィルタをカヌラ側
にして通気針のハf開ロ部に挿入し、補強層とハブとの
材質を相互に熱融着可能な組合せとし、これらを撥水性
フィルタの網目を介して直接融着固定するようにしたか
ら、フィルタの耐水圧性の向上とともに、外気からのプ
ミ、雑菌の侵入防止効果の一層の向上を図ることができ
、しかも、フィルタを単にハプ開ロ部の段部に載置し、
その周縁を上からそのまま加圧加熱するようにしたから
、従来のスクリータイプの通気針と比較して部品点数を
著るしく少なくすることができ、製造、組立工程の簡略
化ならびに製品の均一化を図ることができるなど多くの
利点を有する。

Claims (2)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)針管状の刺通部と;該刺通部の基端を一端に保持
    し、他端に上記刺通部と連通する開口部を有するハブと
    ;該ハブの連通路に該連通路を横切るように張設された
    膜状フィルタとを具備してなる通気針であって:該フィ
    ルタが補強層と該補強層より高い融点を有する撥水性フ
    ィルタ層との二層構造をなし、該撥水性フィルタ層が上
    記刺通部側に向けて張設され、上記補強層は前記ハブと
    熱融着可能な素材であって、前記ハブの前記連通路の内
    壁の前記開口部に対向する環状面と前記補強層が上記撥
    水性フィルタ層の細孔を介して全周に亘って熱融着され
    ていることを特徴とする通気針。
  2. (2)一端に、針管状刺通部を保持し、該刺通部と連通
    した開口部を有する熱可塑性樹脂からなるハブの前記連
    通路内壁に、該開口部に向かう環状面を形成する工程と
    、前記ハブと熱融着可能な補強層と、該補強層より高融
    点の撥水性フィルタ層の二層構造から成るフィルタを、
    前記撥水性フィルタを前記刺通部側にして、前記環状面
    に載置し、ついで、前記フィルタと前記環状面が相対す
    る加圧下において、前記補強層ならびに前記環状面は溶
    融するが、前記撥水性フィルタは溶融しない温度で加熱
    して、前記環状面の一部を溶融して、前記撥水性フィル
    タ層の細孔を透過させ、前記補強層と前記環状面を全周
    に亘って熱融着させる工程とを具備してなることを特徴
    とする通気針の製造方法。
