技术领域
本发明总的涉及内燃机的燃料系统,尤其涉及一种燃料管(rail)组件,该组件包括一些电控燃料喷咀和一个从进入燃料管组件的燃料中滤除外来物质的滤清器,这样,外来物质不能到达燃料喷咀的内部机构,在那里这些物质可能损害原有的性能。
背景技术
在燃料喷射系统中采用滤网将外来物质从燃料中滤除,使其不能到达燃料管组件的重要部件内是公知的技术。颗粒物质进入燃料喷咀或燃料管组件的其它工作部件内的潜在的有害影响已从许多文献获得证实而无须在这里重复。在燃料系统内采用滤芯式燃料滤清器元件也是公知的。然而,迄今为止,据申请人所知,以前还没有提出过采用管形滤清器滤芯作为单独的元件可更换地安装于燃料管内其本身的座上,以便在到达燃料管组件的重要部件之前自燃料内滤除外来物质。
日本专利JP-A-63176654讲授了一种燃料输送系统,其中燃料经一燃料滤清器流至燃料管。在流经该燃料管后,压力控制阀调节燃料压力,并将过剩的燃料经出口导管输回到燃料箱。该燃料压力调节器位于燃料管的端部,并将过剩的燃料返回到燃料箱。
法国专利FR-A-1,575,877讲授了一种安装于流体系统内的滤清器,其中滤清器壳体并不适用于内燃机的燃料系统。该滤清器的内部容积按照该专利的教导进行调整。
EP-A-408377讲授了一次性使用的滤清器组件。
发明内容
本发明涉及管形滤清器滤芯在燃料管内其本身座上的安装和许多新颖有利的装置,借助于这些装置,滤芯和燃料管联接在一起。这些装置包括:管形滤清器滤芯和圆柱形滤芯壳体组合成一体,该管形滤清器滤芯独立地安装在燃料管内其本身的座上;在滤芯壳体外部具有使壳体在燃料管座内形成牢固配合的某些装置;具有为被过滤的燃料提供合适的燃料通道的某些装置;以及在滤芯壳体和座之间的流体密封连接。在一个具体的实施例中,滤芯壳体包括一个进口连接器接头(其中一个例子是所谓的快速接头),它与滤芯壳体构成一体,构成燃料输送导管和燃料管组件之间的连接。在另一个具体实施例中,滤清器滤芯并不包含在滤芯壳体内,而是直接配置在燃料管座内,并由一封闭塞保持在其内,该封闭塞可活动地封闭该座的开口端,以使滤清器滤芯以牢固和密封的方式固定在该座内。
本发明提供一种燃料管组件,用于向连接在所述燃料管组件上的燃料喷嘴输送并滤清加压的燃料,所述燃料管组件包括一燃料滤清器组件和一燃料管,其中所述滤清器组件具有一滤清器滤芯,所述滤芯具有带一外径表面和一内径表面的管形滤清器介质,内径表面定界一中心通道,无孔壁形成所述滤清器芯的一个整体部分并被设置成封闭所述中心通道的一轴向端部和所述介质的一相邻环形轴向端部,所述燃料管包括定界一第一室的一圆柱形座,在第一室中所述燃料滤清器组件可操作地连接到所述燃料管,其中经所述燃料滤清器组件输送到所述燃料管的燃料被安排成在所述滤清器滤芯的所述内径和外径表面之间流动,其特征在于:所述燃料滤清器组件还包括一个具有一第二室的滤清器壳体装置,所述滤清器滤芯设置于第二室中,并且所述滤清器滤芯的远离于由所述无孔壁封闭的一轴向端的另一轴向端通过与所述滤清器壳体装置的壁流体密封接触而被封闭,从而燃料经由所述中心通道和一环形空间从所述滤清器壳体的一入口流向所述滤清器壳体的一出口,所述环形空间定界于所述滤清器滤芯的外径表面和所述滤清器壳体装置之间;其中所述滤清器壳体装置具有多个可压扁的设置在所述壳体装置上的凸起,从而方便将所述滤清器壳体装置保持在所述圆柱形座内。

具体实施方式
图1表示燃料管组件10,包括1燃料管12,燃料管12将燃料输送到处在其长度各位置上的许多电控燃料喷咀。这些喷咀没有详细被表示,仅是示意性地表示。燃料管12可按许多常规方式用组装起来的金属部件构成,或用在附图中作为例子表示的模制合成材料构成。燃料管12包括一个第一整体圆柱座14,其轴线横交于燃料管的长度,在该座内,以共轴线和流体密封方式配置一燃料压力调节器16。该调压器和在1995年2月1日公布的EP-A-636785中所公布的专利申请中所公开的调压器相同,因而其细节可从那个申请文件中获得。座14包括一连串台阶,其形状跟调压器16的壳体配合。座14的底部被成形为包括一进口18,调压器16的管形进口通道20和其以密封方式成套筒式接合。该座还包括一环槽22,它被配置成和进口18成包围关系,但跟其密封。经进口通道20流入调压器16内部燃料腔的燃料由调压器的内部机构进行压力调节,而该内部燃料腔经调压器壳壁上的几个通孔24跟槽22连通。槽22再通至主燃料通道26,该通道沿纵向穿过燃料管,将燃料输给喷咀。调压器的内部机构包括一卸压部件,它使过剩的压力经进口通道20卸回,因此,调压器并不需要一个单独的回油管返回到燃油箱。
燃料管12在其进口燃料进口端包括一个和燃料管长度共轴线的第二整体圆柱形座30。座30在一轴向端32敞口,而在其相反轴向端有两个内凸肩34、36,用以在上述部位上连续地缩小该座的内径,使该端经一短通道38开通,调压器16的进口通道20跟短通道38连通。
一个进口接头选配滤清器滤芯和壳体组件40的组合件跟座30联接,用以自燃料输送导管(未示)将燃料输送至调压器进口通道,并在该过程中将燃料滤清。该滤清器滤芯和组件40的壳体部42被配置在座30内,而进口接头配合部44则被配置在该座的外部,在该处配合部适于跟燃料输送导管上的配对接头(未示)连接,燃料输送导管将燃料输送到燃料管组件。
壳体部42包括一圆柱形壳体46,其中配置一管形滤清器滤芯48。壳体46最好由若干模制塑料件制成,它们以密封方式连接在一起。在图1中,有两个这种部件46A和46B。部件46B构成壳体46的大部分,它包括作为其整体部的进口接头配合部44,这样,在制造过程中,进口接头连接件在46B一端整体制成。46B部的相反端和46A部的配对端连接在一起成流体密封连接,这种密封连接可用任何适当的方式,诸如用声焊(Sonic Welding)来完成。45A部的相反端有一颈部50,它包括连续的舌肩52、54,它们跟包括构成凸肩34、36的锪孔的座30的内端互补配合。一O型环密封装置51围绕颈50配置,以构成颈部跟安置该颈部的座30的内端的流体密封的密封装置。
该滤芯壳壁除了与接头配合部44连接的入口处和由颈部50构成的出口处外均不穿孔。该壳体侧壁的外径也包括几个凸起53,当经开口端32被插入座30时它们可被轻微地压扁,以便和壳体牢固地配合。在滤芯壳部被完全插入座30后,一保持夹55跟贴近开口端32的座壁接合,通过接合滤芯壳的端壁56将组件40保持在这些部位的适当位置上,这些部位为接头配合部44整体连接端壁56处的任一侧。保持夹有一装置58,当完全装定后,该装置使它自保持在开口端32的边缘。保持夹的细节以及它如何和座端联接跟在1995年7月18日公布的标题为“燃料压力调节器/燃料滤清器组件”的US-A5,433,241中所示的实施例相同。
滤清器滤芯48为管形,共轴线地配置于滤芯壳体内,使滤清器滤芯的一轴向端对着端壁56的内面配置,并和其接合,这样,经滤清器滤芯的中心通道60和进口接头配合部44对中。滤芯48的相反轴向端,包括通道60,由一不穿孔的罩62盖住,该罩在颈部50的轴向向内处形成一空间64。该滤芯的外径小于滤芯壳的内径,因此,环绕滤芯的侧壁有一环形空间66。自进口接头匹配部进入的燃料流入通道60,然后径向向外经滤清器介质68流到空间66。从那里,燃料流到空间64,通过颈部50和通道38流至燃料压力调节器进口通道20。当燃料流过介质68时,自燃料中滤除某些颗粒物质是有效的。
组件40在自进口接头配合部44拆下燃料输送管,取下夹55,自座30抽出该组件时作为一个整体是便于使用的。
相应于图1部件的图2部件标以相同的标号。在图2中,进口接头部44在其一轴向端跟燃料管12整体制成。座32与燃料管12整体制成,然而它和座14成径向相反配置并相互对中。一个无孔的密封塞70配置于座30,以封闭开口端32,并牢固地使滤清器滤芯48保持在座内。图2中的滤清器滤芯没有壳体。滤清器滤芯的环形端面包括无孔的环壁72、74。塞70的环区和壁72接合,依次迫使壁74顶靠构成通道38的壁的环形入口端76。塞70的中心区封闭由壁72包围的通道60的端部,塞70的外区被成形为跟座30的外部配合,以形成一O型环密封装置78的槽,使该塞和座成流体密封配合。一保持夹(未示),如保持夹55一样,用于将塞70保持就位。
在图2中,进入的燃料流入环形空间66内,然后径向向内经介质68流至通道60。自通道60,燃料进入通道38,后者通至燃料压力调节器进口通道20。
在图2中,除了这里仅一个滤清器滤芯需单独被取下和安装外,该滤芯以相似于图1的方式是便于使用的。
图3表示一个类似于图1的实施例,在该两图中,相同的部件标以相同的标号。图3不同于图1之处是滤清器滤芯48安装得跟图1轴向相反,意味着该滤清器滤芯被安装在颈部50自该处延伸的壳体46的环形轴向壁上,而由罩62封盖端部面对壁56,将空间64置于贴靠壁56。这样,燃料自进口接头匹配部进入空间64,流至空间66,从而燃料自外径处经介质68流至内径处,燃料在内径处进入通道60,从那里燃料直接向外流经颈部50。对于图示的管形结构,对于未滤清的燃料来说,这种径向向内的流动较径向向外流动能提供较大的表面积。

Claims (3)
