背景技术
凹入式照明系统通常安装到天花板或墙壁中的开口中。现代的凹入式照明系统一般由边条、光源模块、驱动器电路、接线盒和一组吊架杆组成。驱动器与包含光源模块的凹入式照明系统的其它部分和组件绝缘,方法是通过在光源模块容纳于其中时使用由接线盒提供的绝缘。驱动器通过使用导线或其它管道电耦合到光源模块,使得驱动器可对光源模块供电以发射光。
凹入式照明系统的接线盒、罐和其它组件附接到吊架杆,使得吊架杆可以在结构的墙壁或天花板中支撑凹入式照明系统的组件。举例来说,接线盒可以通过使用锚定接线盒和驱动器的螺钉和螺栓附接到吊架杆。
共同拥有的第2015/0233506号美国专利公开案的发明显著地推进了现有技术水平或具有此类组件的凹入式照明系统。然而,仍然有进一步改进的机会。
发明内容
本发明人已认识到且理解一种直接耦合到例如接线盒、罐壳体、托架或灯具框架等照明系统壳体的吊架杆组合件对照明系统的安装提供若干益处,例如允许壳体定位于例如托梁或横梁等邻近支撑结构之间的优选位置。吊架杆组合件到照明系统壳体的直接耦合基本上减少了传统的凹入式照明系统的增加体积和大小,这可减少原材料成本和装运成本。
然而,本发明人也已认识且理解常规吊架杆组合件的若干缺点。举例来说,耦合的吊架杆之间的间隙可导致反冲和坡降,特别是当吊架杆延伸以覆盖邻近支撑结构之间的大距离时。另外,吊架杆通常大小不同;因此,常规吊架杆固持器被设计成容纳较大吊架杆。如果壳体接近支撑结构安装,那么吊架杆可能需要延伸以使得仅一个吊架杆由吊架杆固持器固持。如果较小吊架杆固持于吊架杆固持器中,那么在较小吊架杆与吊架杆固持器之间可以形成大间隙,从而导致吊架杆组合件中的不稳定性。
本公开因此是针对各种发明性吊架杆组合件,其(1)互锁吊架杆以减少不希望的橫向反冲和坡降,且(2)将吊架杆中的每一个约束到吊架杆固持器以减少吊架杆与吊架杆固持器之间的不希望的横向移动。

在一个实施例中,凹入式照明系统1可以包含如图1中所示的一组吊架杆5。吊架杆5可以是刚性的细长部件,其连接于结构的墙壁或天花板中的邻近托梁和/或横梁之间(见图2)。在一个实施例中,吊架杆5中的每一个可以是伸缩式的,使得每一吊架杆5可以延伸或缩回以满足托梁和/或横梁之间的间隙。在此实施例中,每一吊架杆5可以包含内部杆元件16A和外部杆元件16B。内部杆元件16A可以插入,并且接着保持在形成于外部杆元件16B上的栏杆结构17内。在此配置中,内部杆元件16A可以相对于外部杆元件16B滑动以改变每一吊架杆5的总长度。在一个实施例中,外部杆元件16B内的栏杆结构17可以由一组导引件形成。导引件可以是外部杆元件16B的弯曲片或耦合到外部杆元件16B的突片。以此方式,栏杆结构17形成用于内部杆元件16A的通道。

在一个实施例中,凹入式照明系统1可以包含一组吊架固持器6。吊架固持器6可以被配置成沿着对应吊架杆5滑动或以其它方式移动。在一个实施例中,吊架固持器6可以包含用于与接线盒2耦合的附接机构21。附接机构21可以是允许接线盒2以可装卸方式连接到吊架杆5的任何机构。举例来说,如图1所示,附接机构21可以是用于在其中接收螺钉或螺栓的孔。然而,在其它实施例中,附接机构21可以包含允许吊架固持器6耦合到接线盒2的树脂、夹片和/或夹具。通过耦合到吊架固持器6,接线盒2连同其中的光源模块和驱动器可以跨越吊架杆5移动到所需位置,如图2所示。因此,在凹入式照明系统1的安装期间,通过将安装块19附连到横梁,吊架杆5可以安装于结构内的横梁之间的间隙内,并且接着接线盒2连同其中的光源模块7和驱动器8可以由安装者移动到沿着吊架杆5且在间隙内的所需位置。
根据某些方面,上文描述的吊架固持器6允许接线盒2在平行于吊架杆5的纵向轴线的方向上移动。因此,接线盒2可以移动到结构中的一组托梁或横梁之间的优选位置,然后使用机构21锁定到适当位置。通过被配置成使得接线盒2连同其中的光源模块和驱动器耦合到帮助定位组合结构的统一的一组可移动元件,凹入式照明系统1消除了传统凹入式照明系统的增加的体积和大小。此紧凑的设计通过削减原材料和其它组件的成本而提供实惠的设计,且通过减少体积而减少装运成本。
虽然上文结合照明系统1描述的吊架杆5和吊架固持器6提供优于传统凹入式照明系统的许多优点,但本申请人已认识到仍存在某些改进的机会。
举例来说,图3是吊架杆5和吊架固持器6的示例性吊架杆组合件100的前视图,例如图1和2中示出的那些组件。如上文所描述且如图3所示,以一方式制作吊架杆5和吊架固持器6使得杆16B中的一个可伸缩地在另一杆16A上滑动以调整多种托梁间距。通常使固持器6覆盖所述两件中的较大者(16B)以允许接线盒的橫向运动(未示出)。当托梁间距较大(例如,大于16英寸)时,滑动片16A、16B之间的任何间隙会产生接线盒中的竖直反冲和坡降。并且,如果接线盒必须靠近托梁安装,且固持器6因此由于片16A与16B之间的伸缩式延伸而仅位于片中的一个(例如16A)上,那么在片16A处在吊架杆5与固持器6之间将存在大间隙,这将导致不稳定性。

如上文所描述,第三区段80C可以用于促进吊架杆固持器56到照明系统的壳体的耦合。在一些实施方案中,吊架杆固持器56可以集成到照明系统的壳体中(例如,吊架杆固持器集成到灯具壳体的金属片框架上)。第三区段80C可以包含用以将吊架杆固持器56机械地耦合到壳体的至少一个耦合机构,所述壳体再次可包含(但不限于)接线盒、罐壳体、托架或灯具框架。可以使用各种类型的耦合机构,包含但不限于螺钉紧固件或铆钉。举例来说,图5C示出吊架杆固持器56具有两个耦合机构90,所述耦合机构在此情况下是用于接收对应螺钉紧固件的螺钉孔。

在一些实施方案中,第三区段80C可以伸出远离第一区段80A和第二区段80B以形成吊架杆固持器56的框架58与第二吊架杆66B之间的间隙92。在一些实施方案中,间隙92可以实际上形成于吊架杆固持器56与第一吊架杆66A之间。间隙92可以提供用于容纳耦合机构90的至少一部分的空间。举例来说,间隙90可含有螺钉紧固件的头部,其在第一吊架杆66A和第二吊架杆66B插入到吊架杆固持器56的通路82中之前耦合到照明系统的壳体。

17.根据权利要求16所述的吊架杆组合件,其中所述第一吊架杆和所述第二吊架杆延伸而使得所述吊架杆固持器仅固持所述第一吊架杆。
18.根据权利要求16所述的吊架杆组合件,其中所述第一吊架杆被成形以便在所述第一吊架杆与所述第二吊架杆之间生成摩擦力,所述摩擦力充分大,以便当并无用于调整所述第一吊架杆相对于所述第二吊架杆的相对位置的外力施加于所述吊架杆组合件时维持所述相对位置。
19.一种吊架杆组合件(200),其包括:
第一吊架杆(66A);
第二吊架杆(66B),其机械地耦合到所述第一吊架杆,使得所述第二吊架杆沿着第一轴线以伸缩方式相对于所述第一吊架杆滑动;以及
吊架杆固持器(56),用以固持所述第一吊架杆或所述第二吊架杆中的至少一个,所述吊架杆固持器包含框架(58),所述框架包括:
第一区段(80A),用以沿着所述第一轴线至少将所述第一吊架杆导引通过所述吊架杆固持器,且约束所述第一吊架杆沿着垂直于所述第一轴线的第二轴线以及垂直于所述第一轴线和所述第二轴线的第三轴线相对于所述吊架杆固持器的横向移动;以及
第二区段(80B),用以至少将所述第二吊架杆导引通过所述吊架杆固持器,且约束所述第二吊架杆沿着所述第二轴线和所述第三轴线相对于所述吊架杆固持器的横向移动,其中:
所述吊架杆固持器被形成为单个连续部分;
所述吊架杆固持器不是明显能折叠的或能弯曲的;
所述吊架杆固持器不包含铰链;
所述吊架杆固持器不包含搭扣和/或搭扣锁扣;并且
所述第一吊架杆和所述第二吊架杆具有基本相同的形状和/或尺寸,使得所述第一吊架杆能与所述第二吊架杆互换,
其中,所述第一吊架杆具有第一互锁结构,所述第一互锁结构约束所述第二吊架杆沿着所述第二轴线和所述第三轴线相对于所述第一吊架杆的横向移动;并且
所述第二吊架杆具有第二互锁结构,所述第二互锁结构约束所述第一吊架杆沿着所述第二轴线和所述第三轴线到所述第二吊架杆的横向移动。
20.根据权利要求19所述的吊架杆组合件,其中所述第一吊架杆包含机械止挡件以防止所述第一吊架杆与所述第二吊架杆分离。
21.根据权利要求19所述的吊架杆组合件,其中所述吊架杆固持器包含第三区段,所述第三区段具有用以将所述吊架杆固持器机械地耦合到壳体的至少一个耦合机构,其中所述壳体是接线盒、罐壳体、托架或灯具框架中的至少一个。
22.根据权利要求21所述的吊架杆组合件,其中所述至少一个耦合机构包含将插入到所述壳体上的狭槽中的螺柱,所述狭槽被定向以使得所述吊架杆组合件能够沿着所述第二轴线或所述第三轴线中的至少一个进行调整。
23.根据权利要求19所述的吊架杆组合件,其中所述第一吊架杆被成形以便在所述第一吊架杆与所述第二吊架杆之间生成摩擦力,所述摩擦力充分大,以便当并无用于调整所述第一吊架杆相对于所述第二吊架杆的相对位置的外力施加于所述吊架杆组合件时维持所述相对位置。
