本发明涉及接合装置。
背景技术
在日本特开平7-80944号公报中公开了一种涉及塑料部件(热塑性树脂部件)与金属部件的接合方法的发明。在该塑料部件与金属部件的接合方法中,在将金属部件的凸缘部压靠于塑料部件的状态下,使电流流过该金属部件,利用在金属部件产生的焦耳热来使塑料部件熔融。因而,金属部件的凸缘部被埋入塑料部件,能够使塑料部件与金属部件牢固地接合。
然而,在上述现有技术中,由于使塑料部件熔融而与金属部件接合,因此可想到在塑料部件的与金属部件接合的接合部处,会在金属部件的凸缘部的周边部产生不规则的形状的凹凸部。
发明内容
本发明考虑上述事实,目的在于提供一种能够将金属部件与热塑性树脂部件牢固地接合并且能够抑制在热塑性树脂部件的与金属部件接合的接合部处在金属部件的周边部产生不规则的形状的凹凸部的接合装置。
本发明的第一方案的接合装置具有:保持部,能够保持金属部件的轴部,并且能够将该金属部件向处于被保持的状态的该轴部的轴向一侧按压;支撑部,能够从热塑性树脂部件的上述轴向一侧的面支撑该热塑性树脂部件;加热部,能够将前端部的上述轴向一侧的表面加热至构成上述热塑性树脂部件的热塑性树脂能够熔融的温度,上述前端部构成上述金属部件的一部分且设于上述轴部的上述轴向一侧;筒状的套筒部,设于上述保持部的外周侧且以在从上述轴向观察时与上述前端部重叠的状态配置,并且能够相对于该保持部在该轴向上相对移动;及外筒部,设于上述套筒部的外周侧且设为在从上述轴向观察时在内周侧收纳上述金属部件的筒状,并且能够相对于上述套筒部在该轴向上相对移动而上述轴向一侧的端部能够抵接于上述热塑性树脂部件的该轴向的另一侧的面。
根据本发明的第一方案的接合装置,能够利用保持部保持金属部件的轴部,并且该保持部能够将该金属部件向处于被该保持部保持的状态的该轴部的轴向一侧按压。另外,在本方案中,能够利用支撑部从热塑性树脂部件的上述轴向一侧的面支撑该热塑性树脂部件。
此外,本方案具备加热部,能够利用该加热部将构成金属部件的一部分且设于轴部的上述轴向一侧的前端部的该轴向一侧的表面加热至构成热塑性树脂部件的热塑性树脂能够熔融的温度。
因而,在本方案中,能够在热塑性树脂部件的与金属部件接触的接触部熔融的状态下将金属部件向热塑性树脂部件侧按压,而在该金属部件的前端部埋入到热塑性树脂部件中的状态下使该金属部件接合于该热塑性树脂部件。
然而,当在热塑性树脂部件的与金属部件接触的接触部熔融的状态下该金属部件的前端部被埋入热塑性树脂部件时,可想到会在该热塑性树脂部件中的该前端部的周边部产生不规则的形状的凹凸部。
在此,在本方案中,具备在保持部的外周侧设置的筒状的套筒部和在该套筒部的外周侧设置的外筒部。并且,外筒部是在从上述轴向观察时在内周侧收纳金属部件的筒状,并且能够相对于套筒部在该轴向上相对移动,外筒部的该轴向一侧的端部能够抵接于热塑性树脂部件的该轴向另一侧的面。

另一方面,套筒部以在从上述轴向观察时与金属部件的前端部重叠的状态配置,并且能够相对于保持部在该轴向上相对。因而,在熔融的热塑性树脂被外筒部拦住的状态下,当使套筒部相对于保持部向上述轴向一侧相对移动时,该套筒部会与该热塑性树脂接触。其结果是,在本方案中,能够在金属部件的前端部的上述轴向另一侧利用外筒部及套筒部对熔融状态的热塑性树脂进行成形。

本发明的第三方案的接合装置具有如下的优异效果:在金属部件与热塑性树脂部件接合时,能够使金属部件以稳定的状态旋转,并且能够抑制保持部及套筒部的磨损。

具体实施方式
以下,使用图1~图3D对本实施方式的接合装置的一例进行说明。
首先,使用图1、图2A及图2B对利用本实施方式的“接合装置10”接合的“热塑性树脂部件12(以下,称作树脂部件12)”及“金属部件14”的结构进行说明。
树脂部件12是构成车身的一部分、例如车身地板的备用轮胎罩等的板状部件,由热塑性树脂、作为一例是碳纤维增强热塑性树脂(Carbon Fiber Reinforced ThermoPlastics)形成。另外,树脂部件12不限于上述,也可以是由其他种类的热塑性树脂构成的车身结构部件等。
另一方面,金属部件14作为一例是由铁等金属构成并且具备“轴部14A”、作为限制部的“突起部14B”、“被保持部14C”及“前端部14D”的双头螺栓。
详细而言,如图2A及图2B所示,轴部14A设为圆柱状,并且在其外周面设有未图示的外螺纹部。并且,在轴部14A中的该轴部14A的长度方向一侧设有被保持部14C。另外,在图1~图3中,通过箭头A1表示轴部14A的轴向一侧,通过箭头A2表示轴部14A的轴向另一侧。另外,以下,只要没有特别说明,就将轴部14A的轴向一侧简称为轴向一侧,将轴部14A的轴向另一侧简称为轴向另一侧。
被保持部14C基本上是其轴向设为轴部14A的轴向并且其外径D1设定为轴部14A的外径D2的2倍左右的尺寸的圆柱状,在其外周面设有作为被保持部侧平面部的一对“平面部14C1”。这些平面部14C1以分别沿着轴部14A的轴向且互相平行的方式形成。并且,在被保持部14C的轴向一侧设有前端部14D。
前端部14D设为从轴部14A的周向观察时的截面形状在该周向上保持恒定的形状,作为一例,是伴随着从轴向一侧靠近轴向另一侧而扩径的圆锥台状。另外,在前端部14D中扩径最多的部分的外径D3被设定为外径D1的1.2倍~1.5倍左右的尺寸。
突起部14B与轴部14A及被保持部14C一体地设置,是从被保持部14C的轴向另一侧的平面部14C2向轴向另一侧且从轴部14A的外周面向轴部14A的径向外侧突出的大致四棱柱状。另外,突起部14B在轴部14A的周向上以90°间隔配置有四个。
接着,主要使用图1来对接合装置10的结构进行说明。接合装置10具备:“保持部18”“套筒部20”“外筒部22”“支撑部24”及作为加热部的“驱动部26”。
保持部18整体设为圆筒状,能够利用其前端部侧(其轴向一侧)的部分保持金属部件14的轴部14A。详细而言,保持部18能够在其内周面与金属部件14的轴部14A的外周面抵接的状态且其轴向与轴部14A的轴向一致的状态下在其内侧收纳轴部14A。另外,保持部18的外径D4被设定为与设置于轴部14A的一对平面部14C1之间的间隔S相同的尺寸。
另外,保持部18通过在其前端部18A侧的部分设置沿着其轴向的四个狭缝部28而设有四个作为限制部的“卡定部18B”。这些卡定部18B在保持部18的周向上以90°间隔配置,并且各自的从保持部18的轴向观察时的截面形状设为大致扇形。另外,各卡定部18B能够嵌合于在轴部14A的周向上相邻的突起部14B之间。另外,卡定部18B在保持部18的轴向上的尺寸被设定为比轴部14A在其轴向上的尺寸长的尺寸。并且,如上述这样构成的卡定部18B在保持部18保持着金属部件14的轴部14A的状态下,嵌合于在轴部14A的周向上相邻的突起部14B之间。
套筒部20设为能够在其内侧收纳保持部18及金属部件14的被保持部14C的圆筒状,设于保持部18的外周侧。另外,从套筒部20的轴向观察时的套筒部20的内周面的周缘部的形状设为与被保持部14C的从轴部14A的轴向观察时的截面的周缘部的形状相同的形状,被保持部14C能够在嵌合于套筒部20的状态下被保持。并且,在套筒部20的内周面设有作为套筒部侧平面部的一对“平面部20A”。
这些平面部20A以分别沿着套筒部20的轴向且互相平行的方式形成,并且能够与金属部件14的平面部14C1抵接。并且,金属部件14在其平面部14C1与套筒部20的平面部20A抵接的状态下,相对于套筒部20绕轴部14A的轴向的相对旋转受到限制。另外,套筒部20相对于保持部18单体被容许其轴向的相对移动及绕其轴向的相对旋转。
此外,在利用套筒部20保持着金属部件14的状态下,从轴部14A的轴向观察,金属部件14的前端部14D与套筒部20处于重叠的状态。也就是说,套筒部20的轴向一侧(保持部18的前端部18A侧)的端部能够与金属部件14的前端部14D抵接。并且,套筒部20被未图示的套筒部侧按压部向其轴向一侧(保持部18的前端部18A侧)按压。
另一方面,在利用保持部18及套筒部20保持着金属部件14的状态下,套筒部20能够在相对于保持部18的绕其轴向的相对旋转受到限制的状态下绕该轴向旋转。另外,套筒部20的外径D5被设定为保持部18的外径D4的1.2倍~1.5倍左右的尺寸。
外筒部22设为能够在其内侧收纳套筒部20的圆筒状,设于套筒部20的外周侧。该外筒部22能够相对于套筒部20在其轴向上相对移动,并且被未图示的外筒部侧按压部向其轴向一侧(保持部18的前端部18A侧)按压。
支撑部24是金属制的块状,能够支撑配置于其支撑面部24A并被外筒部22按压的树脂部件12。详细而言,在利用保持部18保持着金属部件14的状态下,被外筒部侧按压部按压的外筒部22的轴向一侧的端部与树脂部件12的轴向另一侧的面抵接而按压该面。并且,在该状态下,树脂部件12处于其轴向一侧的面由支撑部24支撑的状态。
驱动部26具备未图示的电动机等,并且连接于保持部18的未图示的基端部侧,能够使保持部18绕其轴向旋转或摆动。另外,在驱动部26的与保持部18相反一侧配置有未图示的保持部侧按压部,由保持部侧按压部将保持部18向其轴向一侧(保持部18的前端部18A侧)按压。由此,通过在金属部件14由保持部18保持并且树脂部件12由支撑部24支撑的状态下使保持部侧按压部工作,能够将前端部14D的轴向一侧的面按压于树脂部件12。并且,通过在该状态下驱动部26进行驱动,前端部14D的轴向一侧的面通过与树脂部件12之间的摩擦而被加热至构成树脂部件12的热塑性树脂能够熔融的温度。
(本实施方式的作用及效果)
接着,说明本实施方式的作用及效果。
在本实施方式中,金属部件14经过图3A~图3D所示的接合工序而接合于树脂部件12。具体而言,首先,在图3A所示的第一工序中,利用保持部18及套筒部20保持金属部件14。另外,在前端部14D的轴向一侧的面抵接于树脂部件12的状态下,通过外筒部侧按压部按压外筒部22,并且被外筒部22按压的树脂部件12由支撑部24支撑。
接着,在图3B所示的第二工序中,在将保持部18向树脂部件12侧按压的状态下保持部侧按压部经由驱动部26而使保持部18绕轴部14A的轴向旋转或摆动,树脂部件12的与前端部14D接触的部分熔融,并且前端部14D进入到树脂部件12的内部。
接着,在图3C所示的第三工序中,被外筒部22拦住的熔融状态的热塑性树脂通过被套筒部20按压而在前端部14D的轴向另一侧形成为圆板状,在树脂部件12上形成突起部12A。
最后,在图3D所示的第四工序中,在第三工序中熔融的热塑性树脂凝固后的状态下,从金属部件14及树脂部件12拆下接合装置10的各构成要素。
另外,在如上述这样构成的接合装置10中,如图1所示,能够利用保持部18保持金属部件14的轴部14A,并且保持部18能够向轴部14A的轴向一侧按压金属部件14。另外,在本实施方式中,能够利用支撑部24从树脂部件12的轴向一侧的面支撑树脂部件12。
此外,本实施方式具备驱动部26,能够利用驱动部26将金属部件14的前端部14D的轴向一侧的表面加热至构成树脂部件12的热塑性树脂能够熔融的温度。因而,在本实施方式中,能够在树脂部件12的与金属部件14接触的接触部熔融的状态下将金属部件14向树脂部件12侧按压,在金属部件14的前端部14D埋入到树脂部件12中的状态下使金属部件14接合于树脂部件12。
然而,当在树脂部件12的与金属部件14接触的接触部熔融的状态下金属部件14的前端部14D向树脂部件12埋入时,可想到会在树脂部件12中的前端部14D的周边部产生不规则的形状的凹凸部。
在此,在本实施方式中,具备在保持部18的外周侧设置的筒状的套筒部20和在套筒部20的外周侧设置的外筒部22。并且,外筒部22是在从轴部14A的轴向观察时在内周侧收纳金属部件14的筒状,并且能够相对于套筒部20在该轴向上相对移动而轴向一侧的端部能够抵接于树脂部件12的轴向另一侧的面。
因而,在金属部件14的前端部14D向树脂部件12埋入时,能够使外筒部22的轴向一侧的端部成为抵接于树脂部件12的轴向另一侧的面的状态。其结果是,即使熔融的热塑性树脂要向离开金属部件14的方向流动,该热塑性树脂也会在外筒部22的内周侧被拦住。
另一方面,套筒部20以在从轴部14A的轴向观察时与金属部件14的前端部14D重叠的状态配置,并且能够相对于保持部18在该轴向上相对移动。因而,在熔融的热塑性树脂被外筒部22拦住的状态下,当使套筒部20相对于保持部18向轴部14A的轴向一侧相对移动时,套筒部20会与该热塑性树脂接触。其结果是,在本实施方式中,能够在金属部件14的前端部14D的轴向另一侧利用外筒部22及套筒部20对熔融状态的热塑性树脂进行成形。因此,在本实施方式中,能够使金属部件14与树脂部件12牢固地接合,并能够抑制在树脂部件12的与金属部件14接合的接合部处在金属部件14的周边部产生不规则的形状的凹凸部。而且,能够通过形成于树脂部件12的突起部12A,加强树脂部件12中的与金属部件14的交界部分。
另外,在本实施方式中,通过设于金属部件14的突起部14B及设置于保持部18的卡定部18B来限制金属部件14与保持部18之间的绕轴部14A的轴向的旋转。由此,当保持部18通过驱动部26而绕轴部14A的轴向旋转或摆动时,金属部件14也与保持部18一起绕该轴向旋转或摆动。并且,当在金属部件14的前端部14D的轴向一侧的面抵接于树脂部件12的状态下金属部件14绕轴部14A的轴向旋转或摆动时,该面通过该面与树脂部件12的摩擦而被加热至构成树脂部件12的热塑性树脂能够熔融的温度。其结果是,在本实施方式中,树脂部件12的与金属部件14接触的接触部发生熔融,熔融的热塑性树脂向金属部件14的前端部14D的轴向一侧的面的微小凹凸部进入且金属部件14的前端部14D埋入到树脂部件12中。因此,在本实施方式中,能够通过锚固效应将金属部件14与树脂部件12牢固地接合
此外,在本实施方式中,金属部件14具备能够由套筒部20保持的被保持部14C。该被保持部14C设于轴部14A的轴向一侧且前端部14D的轴向另一侧,在被保持部14C上设有沿着轴部14A的轴向的平面部14C1。另一方面,在套筒部20上设有能够与平面部14C1抵接而限制套筒部20与金属部件14之间的绕轴部14A的轴向的相对旋转的平面部20A,并且套筒部20能够绕该轴向旋转。因而,在本实施方式中,能够使保持部18、金属部件14及套筒部20同步地绕轴部14A的轴向旋转,并且能够抑制在保持部18绕该轴向旋转时在保持部18与套筒部20之间产生摩擦。
因此,在本实施方式中,在金属部件14与树脂部件12接合时,能够使金属部件14以稳定的状态旋转,并且能够抑制保持部18及套筒部20的磨损。而且,在金属部件14向树脂部件12埋入到被保持部14C中的状态下,平面部20A对于作用于轴部14A的绕轴部14A的轴向的转矩而作为金属部件14的止转部发挥功能。因而,在金属部件14与树脂部件12接合后的状态下,即使向轴部14A作用绕轴部14A的轴向的转矩,也容易维持金属部件14与树脂部件12之间的接合状态。
<上述实施方式的补充说明>
(1)在上述实施方式中,驱动部26作为加热部使用,但不限于此,也可以使用能够利用使电流流过金属部件14而在金属部件14产生的焦耳热来将构成树脂部件12的热塑性树脂熔融的加热器作为加热部。另外,在使用这样的结构的情况下,也可以适当变更金属部件14的前端部14D的形状。
(2)另外,在上述实施方式中,在金属部件14上设有被保持部14C,但不限于此。即,也可以根据向金属部件14安装的部件等而设为在金属部件14上不设置被保持部14C的结构。另外,也可以根据向金属部件14安装的部件等而设为在轴部14A不设置外螺纹部的结构,使该轴部14A嵌合于部件的被嵌合部等。

Claims (3)

1.一种接合装置,具有:
保持部,能够保持金属部件的轴部,并且能够将该金属部件向处于被保持的状态的该轴部的轴向一侧按压;
支撑部,能够从热塑性树脂部件的所述轴向一侧的面支撑该热塑性树脂部件;
加热部,能够将所述金属部件的前端部的所述轴向一侧的表面加热至构成所述热塑性树脂部件的热塑性树脂能够熔融的温度,所述前端部构成所述金属部件的一部分且设于所述轴部的所述轴向一侧;
筒状的套筒部,设于所述保持部的外周侧且以在从所述轴向观察时与所述前端部重叠的状态配置,并且能够相对于该保持部在该轴向上相对移动;及
外筒部,设于所述套筒部的外周侧且设为在从所述轴向观察时在内周侧收纳所述金属部件的筒状,并且能够相对于所述套筒部在该轴向上相对移动而所述轴向一侧的端部能够抵接于所述热塑性树脂部件的该轴向的另一侧的面。
2.根据权利要求1所述的接合装置,其中,
所述接合装置还具备限制所述金属部件与所述保持部之间的绕所述轴向的相对旋转的限制部,
所述加热部设为驱动部,所述驱动部能够在所述前端部的所述轴向一侧的面抵接于所述热塑性树脂部件的状态下使所述保持部绕所述轴向旋转或摆动而通过该面与该热塑性树脂部件的摩擦来加热该面。
3.根据权利要求2所述的接合装置,其中
所述金属部件还具备被保持部,所述被保持部设于所述轴部的所述轴向一侧且所述前端部的该轴向另一侧并且能够由所述套筒部保持,
在所述被保持部上设有沿着所述轴向的被保持部侧平面部,
在所述套筒部上设有套筒侧平面部,所述套筒侧平面部能够与所述被保持部侧平面部抵接而限制该套筒部与所述金属部件之间的绕所述轴向的相对旋转,
并且,所述套筒部能够绕所述轴向旋转。
