技术领域
本发明涉及包含含有硅的离子液体的润滑剂。
背景技术
离子液体是只由离子构成的盐,一般是指熔点为100℃以下的盐。由于其特性,对离子液体进行了各种的应用研究,特别是从不挥发性、阻燃性、高耐热性等方面出发,也进行了作为润滑剂的应用研究(专利文献1、2、非专利文献1、2等)。
离子液体具有作为润滑剂所需的物理化学性质,特别是四氟硼酸盐、六氟磷酸盐、双(三氟甲磺酰基)亚胺盐等包含含有氟的离子的离子液体,认为耐磨损性优异。但是,水分的混入是问题,即使极微量的水分混入,其也与通过摩擦而活化的化学反应(摩擦化学反应)中分解的来自氟系阴离子的氟化氢反应,存在着腐蚀金属材料、使高分子材料劣化这样的致命的缺点。另外,产生的氟化氢显示强的毒性,也危险。因此,含有氟的离子液体,一般评价为只能在水分不存在的面向空间的应用或者无金属界面的陶瓷应用中作为润滑剂使用,作为通用润滑剂,目前尚未实用化。

发明内容
发明要解决的课题
本发明鉴于这样的实际情况而完成,目的在于提供不因分解而产生氟化氢、不使金属材料、高分子材料等劣化的包含含有硅的离子液体的润滑剂。
用于解决课题的手段
本发明人为了实现上述目的反复锐意研究,结果发现,由含有硅原子的阴离子和鏻阳离子构成的不含氟原子的离子液体的摩擦系数小,可用作润滑剂,完成了本发明。
即,本发明提供下述润滑剂。
1.润滑剂,其包含由下述式(1)表示的含有硅的离子液体。

2.1的润滑剂,其中,上述R2为碳原子数10~20的直链烷基。
3.1或2的润滑剂,其中,上述R1全部为正丁基或正己基。
4.1~3的任一项的润滑剂,其中,上述R3全部为甲基。
5.1~4的任一项的润滑剂,其仅包含由式(1)表示的含有硅的离子液体。
6.1~4的任一项的润滑剂,其还包含至少1种选自表面活性剂、分散剂、抗氧化剂、耐磨损剂、防锈剂、防腐蚀剂、摩擦调节剂、极压添加剂、消泡剂、粘度调节剂和流动点下降剂中的添加剂。
7.6的润滑剂,其中,上述添加剂为摩擦调节剂或耐磨损剂。
8.由下述式(1)表示的含有硅的离子液体。

发明的效果
上述离子液体的摩擦系数小,进而由于不含卤素,因此环境负荷小,由于不会生成氟化氢这样的显示毒性的物质,因此安全并且即使对于金属材料、高分子材料等也可使用,可用作通用润滑剂。

具体实施方式
本发明的润滑剂包含由下述式(1)表示的含有硅的离子液体。

式中,R1表示碳原子数1~10的烷基,R2表示碳原子数8~20的烷基,R3表示碳原子数1~8的烷基。不过,R2的碳原子数比R1的碳原子数多。
就上述碳原子数1~10的烷基而言,直链状、分支状、环状的烷基均可,例如可列举出甲基、乙基、正丙基、异丙基、环丙基、正丁基、异丁基、仲丁基、叔丁基、环丁基、正戊基、环戊基、正己基、环己基、正庚基、正辛基、正壬基、正癸基等。
就上述碳原子数8~20的烷基而言,直链状、分支状、环状的烷基均可,例如可列举出正辛基、2-乙基己基、正壬基、正癸基、正十一烷基、正十二烷基、正十三烷基、正十四烷基、正十五烷基、正十六烷基、正十七烷基、正十八烷基、正十九烷基、正二十烷基等。
就上述碳原子数1~8的烷基而言,直链状、分支状、环状的烷基均可,可列举出与作为上述碳原子数1~10的烷基例示的烷基中碳原子数1~8的烷基同样的基团。
本发明中,作为R1,特别优选碳原子数2~8的直链烷基,更优选碳原子数3~8的直链烷基,进一步优选碳原子数4~8的直链烷基,如果考虑离子液体的特性(疏水性、耐热性)和制造成本等,进一步优选正丁基或正己基。
作为R2,如果考虑离子液体的特性(疏水性、耐热性),优选碳原子数10~20的直链烷基,更优选碳原子数12~20的直链烷基。
作为R3,优选碳原子数1~4的烷基,更优选碳原子数1~3的烷基,最优选甲基。
上述离子液体例如能够按照日本特开2013-14536号公报中记载的方法合成。
上述离子液体由于为疏水性,摩擦系数小,其变动也小,因此能够优选作为润滑剂使用。另外,上述离子液体由于不会生成氟化氢这样的显示毒性的物质,因此不用担心使金属材料、高分子材料等劣化。因此,上述离子液体能够作为通用润滑剂适应于各种用途。
本发明的润滑剂可只包含上述离子液体,也可进一步包含添加剂。作为上述添加剂,只要是一般作为润滑油用添加剂使用并且在上述的离子液体中溶解的添加剂,则并无特别限定。包含NTf2 -、BF4 -、PF6 -等含氟阴离子的以往的离子液体将这样的添加剂溶解的能力小,改进摩擦学特性困难。但是,上述含有硅的离子液体可以将这样的添加剂溶解,因此,可以成本效率良好地改进上述离子液体的摩擦学特性。
作为上述添加剂,例如可列举出表面活性剂、分散剂、抗氧化剂、耐磨损剂、防锈剂、防腐蚀剂、摩擦调节剂、极压添加剂、消泡剂、粘度调节剂、流动点下降剂等。
作为上述表面活性剂,可列举出烷基磺酸盐、烷基苯磺酸盐等磺酸盐系表面活性剂、水杨酸盐系表面活性剂、磷酸盐系表面活性剂、酚盐系表面活性剂等。包含表面活性剂的情况下,其含量在润滑剂中优选0.1~10质量%。
作为上述分散剂,可列举出聚烯基琥珀酰亚胺、聚烯基琥珀酸酯、曼尼希碱、有机磷酸酯类等。包含分散剂的情况下,其含量在润滑剂中优选0.1~10质量%。
作为上述抗氧化剂,可列举出二硫代磷酸锌、酚系抗氧化剂、芳香族胺系抗氧化剂、有机硫化合物系抗氧化剂、受阻酚、亚磷酸酯系抗氧化剂等。包含抗氧化剂的情况下,其含量在润滑剂中优选0.1~10质量%。
作为上述耐磨损剂,可列举出磷系耐磨损剂、硫系耐磨损剂、硼酸衍生物、氯系耐磨损剂、二硫代磷酸锌等。包含耐磨损剂的情况下,其含量在润滑剂中优选0.1~10质量%。
作为上述防锈剂,可列举出磺酸酯、多元醇酯、烷基胺等。包含防锈剂的情况下,其含量在润滑剂中优选0.1~10质量%。
作为上述防腐蚀剂,可列举出苯并三唑系化合物等含氮化合物等。包含防腐蚀剂的情况下,其含量在润滑剂中优选0.1~10质量%。
作为上述摩擦调节剂,可列举出甘油单油酸酯等甘油脂肪酸酯、油胺等烷基胺等。包含摩擦调节剂的情况下,其含量在润滑剂中优选0.1~10质量%。
作为上述极压添加剂,可列举出硫化油脂、硫化烯烃、二苄基二硫、二烷基二硫等硫系极压添加剂、磷系极压添加剂等。包含极压添加剂的情况下,其含量在润滑剂中优选0.1~10质量%。
作为上述消泡剂,可列举出聚甲基硅氧烷等硅系消泡剂等。包含消泡剂的情况下,其含有量在润滑剂中优选0.1~10质量%。
作为上述粘度调节剂,可列举出聚异丁烯、烯烃共聚物、苯乙烯/异戊二烯共聚物等烃系粘度调节剂、苯乙烯酯、聚甲基丙烯酸酯等酯系粘度调节剂等。包含粘度调节剂的情况下,其含量在润滑剂中优选0.1~10质量%。
作为上述流动点下降剂,可列举出烷基化芳香族化合物、苯乙烯/马来酸酯共聚物、聚甲基丙烯酸酯等。包含流动点下降剂的情况下,其含量在润滑剂中优选0.1~10质量%。
这些添加剂中,从可高度地控制摩擦学特性的方面出发,优选包含摩擦调节剂或耐磨损剂。
实施例
以下列举出实施例和比较例,对本发明更具体地说明,但本发明并不限定于下述的实施例。
[1]离子液体的合成
[合成例1]离子液体1的合成

将3-(三甲基甲硅烷基)-1-丙磺酸钠(Sigma-Aldrich Co.制造)1.00g溶解于离子交换水120mL中。在该溶液中加入预先将三丁基十六烷基溴化鏻(东京化成工业(株)制造)2.28g溶解于离子交换水80mL中而成的溶液,在室温下进行了一夜搅拌。此时,反应液最初白浊,如果反应后静置一夜,则分离为二层。在该反应液中加入醋酸乙酯(和光纯药工业(株)制造)50mL,进行了有机层的萃取。将该操作进一步重复2次,对将有机层合并的产物用离子交换水50mL进行了2次清洗。在有机层中投入碳酸钾(和光纯药工业(株)制造)20g左右,干燥,将固体成分过滤分离后,将溶剂馏除,作为无色透明液体得到了2.12g(收率77%)的作为目标物的离子液体1。将该离子液体1与等体积的水混合,结果完全分离为2层,确认了其为疏水性。
[合成例2]离子液体2的合成

除了代替3-(三甲基甲硅烷基)-1-丙磺酸钠而使用了2-(三甲基甲硅烷基)-1-乙磺酸钠以外,采用与合成例1相同的方法合成了离子液体2。应予说明,2-(三甲基甲硅烷基)-1-乙磺酸钠按照美国专利第3141898号说明书记载的方法合成。将离子液体2的1H-NMR波谱(装置:日本电子(株)制AL-400、溶剂:重氯仿)示于图1中。将该离子液体2与等体积的水混合,结果完全分离为2层,确认了其为疏水性。
[合成例3]离子液体3的合成

除了代替三丁基十六烷基溴化鏻而使用了三丁基十二烷基溴化鏻(东京化成工业(株)制造)以外,采用与合成例1相同的方法合成了离子液体3。将该离子液体3与等体积的水混合,结果完全分离为2层,确认了其为疏水性。
[合成例4]离子液体4的合成

除了代替三丁基十六烷基溴化鏻而使用了三丁基十二烷基溴化鏻(东京化成工业(株)制造)以外,采用与合成例2相同的方法合成了离子液体4。将离子液体4的1H-NMR波谱(装置:日本电子(株)制AL-400、溶剂:重氯仿)示于图2中。将该离子液体4与等体积的水混合,结果完全分离为2层,确认了其为疏水性。
[合成例5]离子液体5的合成

除了代替三丁基十六烷基溴化鏻而使用了三己基十四烷基溴化鏻(东京化成工业(株)制造)以外,采用与合成例2相同的方法合成了离子液体5。将离子液体5的1H-NMR波谱(装置:日本电子(株)制AL-400、溶剂:重氯仿)示于图3中。将该离子液体5与等体积的水混合,结果完全分离为2层,确认了其为疏水性。
[2]离子液体的物性值的测定
测定了离子液体1~5的熔点(Tm)、分解点(Td)、粘度(η)和电导率(χ)。就熔点而言,使用精工仪器(株)制DSC6200,从20至60℃每分钟10℃升温,在60℃下保持1分钟后,从60至-90℃每分钟1℃降温,在-90℃下保持1分钟后,从-90℃至60℃每分钟1℃升温的条件下测定。分解点是在空气气氛下、从30至500℃每分钟10℃升温的条件下测定,将10%重量减少的温度设为分解点。粘度使用BROOKFIELD公司制可编程流变仪,测定了25℃和60℃下的粘度(对于离子液体5,只是25℃下的粘度)。电导率使用东亚DKK(株)制电导率计CM-30R,测定了25℃和60℃下的电导率(对于离子液体5,只测了25℃下的电导率)。将结果示于表1中。

在离子液体2中加入作为添加剂的甘油单油酸酯(GMO)以使其成为5质量%,在室温(20~25℃)下平稳地搅拌,得到了均一溶液,制备了润滑剂F。
[实施例1-5]润滑剂G的制备
除了代替GMO而使用二苄基二硫(DBDS),使搅拌时的温度为35~40℃以外,采用与实施例1-4同样的方法制备了润滑剂G。
[实施例1-6]润滑剂H的制备
除了代替GMO而使用了油胺(OleAm)以外,采用与实施例1-4同样的方法制备了润滑剂H。
[4]摩擦试验
[实施例2、比较例2]
使用润滑剂A(比较例2)和B(实施例2)进行了摩擦试验。摩擦试验通过ASTM D6425中规定的、使用了SRV试验机(欧润宝公司制造)的钢球-钢平板(钢球-钢板)接触来实施。具体地,将试验片设置于试验机后,按照表2的条件追踪了摩擦系数的历时变化。将结果示于图4。

润滑剂B(实施例2)从试验刚开始后就稳定,摩擦系数为0.1以下且稳定,而润滑剂A(比较例2)在试验刚开始后,摩擦系数为0.1以上,直至达到稳定状态(直至达到变动少的稳定的状态)需要时间。因此,润滑剂B的作为润滑剂的性能优异。
[实施例3、比较例3]
使用润滑剂B(实施例3)和市售的油压设备用润滑油1(矿物油、API Group I)(比较例3)进行了摩擦试验。摩擦试验使用与实施例2相同的SRV试验机和球-平板,在表3的条件下进行。具体地,将试验片设置于试验机后,每隔30分钟使温度变化,追踪摩擦系数的历时变化。再有,对于润滑剂B,进行各试样2次的测定,确认了可重复性。将结果示于图5中。

润滑油1在25℃下的摩擦系数为0.11以上,发现了随着温度上升摩擦系数增加的倾向。而润滑剂B与润滑油1相比,显示出小的摩擦系数。对于其性能而言,发现了即使在75~100℃的范围也不差反而提高的倾向。即,润滑剂B在更为严酷的条件下显示出比润滑油1优异的润滑性能。再有,对于润滑剂B,可重复性也良好。
另外,对试验球的磨损体积进行了比较。将结果示于图6中。与市售的润滑油1相比,润滑剂B的磨损体积小。
显示出本发明中使用的离子液体为与市售的油压设备用润滑油相比具有实用上不逊色的性能、摩擦系数小、特别是在50~100℃的加热条件下显著有用的润滑剂。
[实施例4-1~4-3、比较例4-1]
对于作为市售的离子液体的丁基甲基咪唑鎓双(三氟甲磺酰基)亚胺(关东化学(株)制造、以下简写为[BMIM][NTf2])(比较例4-1)和润滑剂B、D、E(实施例4-1~4-3),对摩擦系数进行了比较。使用与实施例1相同的SRV试验机和球-平板,在表4的条件下进行了摩擦系数的测定。将结果示于图7中。

润滑剂B、D、E的摩擦系数都小,为0.1以下,另外,即使与作为1种在阴离子中具有NTf2 -的离子液体、在现有的离子液体中被认为作为润滑剂性能良好的[BMIM][NTf2]相比,也显示出小10%~20%左右的摩擦系数。另外,润滑剂B、D、E的摩擦系数都从试验刚开始后就稳定且小,进而其变动也小。另一方面,[BMIM][NTf2]的试验刚开始后的摩擦系数大,直至达到稳定状态需要时间。
[比较例4-2]
对于市售的氟系合成润滑剂(Solvay公司制Fomblin-317926),在与表4相同的条件下测定了摩擦系数。将结果示于图8中。应予说明,测定进行了2次(Run 1、Run 2)。
[比较例4-3]
对于市售的氟系合成润滑剂(Solvay公司制Fomblin-317950),在与表4相同的条件下测定了摩擦系数。将结果示于图9中。应予说明,测定进行了2次(Run 1、Run 2)。
由图8~9中所示的结果可知,市售的氟系合成润滑剂(Fomblin-317926和Fomblin-317950)与本发明的润滑剂相比,摩擦系数大。另外,使用Fomblin-317926用负荷100N测定的情况下,在测定中观测到摩擦系数的变动。
[实施例5-1~5-3]
使用了润滑剂F、G、H(实施例5-1~5-3)进行了摩擦试验。摩擦试验通过ASTM D6425中规定的、使用了SRV试验机(欧润宝公司制造)的钢球-钢平板(钢球-钢板)接触来实施。具体地,将试验片设置于试验机后,按照表5的条件追踪了摩擦系数的历时变化。

将摩擦系数的历时变化与实施例2(润滑剂B)的结果一起示于图10中。包含规定的添加剂的润滑剂F、G、H都显示出比润滑剂B低的摩擦系数。因此,显示出通过添加添加剂,从而能够提高润滑剂的性能。
如以上所述,可知本发明的润滑剂具有优异的性能。

2.权利要求1所述的润滑剂,其中,所述R2为碳原子数为10~20的直链烷基。
3.权利要求1或2所述的润滑剂,其中,所述R1全部为正丁基或正己基。
4.权利要求1或2所述的润滑剂,其中,所述R3全部为甲基。
5.权利要求1所述的润滑剂,其中,所述添加剂为摩擦调节剂或耐磨损剂。
