技术领域
本发明涉及一种充气子午线轮胎,其具有高速耐用性和低平斑(flatspot)特性,且其具有聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(polyethylene terephthalate)冠带层(cap ply)加强层。
背景技术
已知的是,在带束层(belt)包上放置为与赤道面成一小角度(螺旋卷绕)的加强材料特别改进了子午线轮胎的高速性能。通过条状螺旋卷绕在带束层包上将聚合的(尼龙6.6、PET、芳纶/尼龙混合等)帘线用作冠带层加强件,这已经被多个公司使用了很多年,以改进充气子午线轮胎的高速耐用性和处理性能。通过在挤压工艺中将砑光的(橡胶化的)帘子布剪切为条状或通过橡胶化某一宽度的平行的单帘线而得到所述帘线条。
使用冠带层加强件的目的是通过避免高速下发生在带束层包中的由离心力导致的带束层分离来增加轮胎的高速耐用性。特别地,轮胎显示出的抵抗带束层边缘分离的阻力强度高度影响高速耐用性。
当尼龙用作冠带层加强件材料时,有两个重要缺点。第一个是由于它的低模量,要使用成多于一层。第二个是临时几何变形(临时平斑),这是由在驻车期间对在高速时受热的轮胎进行冷却所导致的,这是由于聚合物的玻璃化转变温度较低。
在本领域中已知的申请美国US7584774号专利申请文件公开了将高模量聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯帘线用作冠带层加强材料,从而增加轮胎的高速耐用性且降低临时几何变形(平斑)问题。在这一实施方式中,冠带层帘线的正切模量建议为在29.4N下160℃时大于2.5mN/dtex.%。出于这一原因,建议工艺膨胀最大为2%以避免紧密帘线形成,其会剪切通过带束层的橡胶涂层。

发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种充气子午线轮胎,其中通过增加冠带层帘线的热收缩力,带束层包上的压力在高速度和温度下增加。
为了实现这一目的,建议使用较低模量的聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯,而不是如US7584774的高模量聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯。然而,该聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯帘线的效率通过增加它的热收缩力而增加。基于在高速时增加的温度,聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯帘线的模量降低,然而其热收缩力增加。存在于本发明的充气子午线轮胎中的聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯的这一增加显著高于现有技术(US7584774)的情况。
