Abstract

Buluşun amacı, termal kısalma kuvvetinin arttırılması ile yüksek hız ve sıcaklıkta kordun kuşak (5) üzerindeki baskısının arttırıldığı bir pnömatik raydal lastik (1) gerçekleştirmektir.

Bulus, yüksek hiza dayanikli ve düsük ilatspot (geçici lastik yassilasmasi)
özelligine sahip ve polietilen terefitalat kusak üstü takviye katmanina sahip
pnömatik radyal lastik ile ilgilidir.
Önceki Teknik
Kusak paketi üzerinde, ekvatoral düzlemle küçük bir açi yaparak yerlestirilmis
(spiral olarak sarilmis) takviye malzemelerinin radyal lastiklerde özellikle yüksek
hiz performansini iyilestirdigi bilinmektedir. Pnömatik radyal lastiklerde yüksek
hiz dayanikliligini ve kullanim (handling) performansini iyilestirmek amaciyla,
polimerik (nylon kordlarin serit halinde kusak
üstü takviyesi (cap ply) olarak kusak paketi üzerine spiral olarak sarilarak
kullanimi, uzun yillardan beri birçok lastik firmasi tarafindan uygulanmaktadir.
Söz konusu kord seritleri kalenderlenmis (kauçukla kaplanmis) kord bezinin serit
halinde kesilmesiyle veya birbirine paralel tek kordlarin belirli bir ende
ekstrüzyon prosesinde kauçuk kaplanmasiyla elde edilmektedir.
Kusak üstü takviyesinin lastikteki kullanim amaci, yüksek hizda kusak paketinde
olusan santrifüj kuvvetin sebep Oldugu kusak katmanlari arasindaki ayrilmalari
önleyerek lastigin yüksek hiz dayanimini artirmaktir. Özellikle kusak kenari
ayrilmalarina (belt edge separation) karsi lastigin gösterdigi direncin büyüklügü,
yüksek hiz dayanimi (high speed durability) için çok önemlidir.
Naylon kusak üstü takviye malzemesi olarak kullanildiginda, iki önemli
dezavantaji söz konusudur. Bunlardan birincisi modulusun düsük olmasi nedeni
ile birden fazla katman olarak kullanilma zorunlulugudur. Ikincisi ise polimer
olarak yumusama sicakliginin (glass transition temperature) düsük olmasi
nedeniyle, yüksek hizda isinan lastigin park halinde sogumasi sonucu lastikte
yarattigi geçici geometrik deformasyon(geçici lastik yassilasmasi, tlatspot)dur.
Teknikte bilinen uygulamalardan US7584774 sayili Birlesik Devletler patent
dokümaninda, lastikte yüksek hiz dayanimini artirmak ve geçici geometrik
deformasyon (flatspot) problemini azaltmak amaciyla, kusak üstü takviye
malzemesi olarak, yüksek moduluslu polietilen terefitalat kord kullanimi
önerilmektedir. 160 °C`de, 29.4N°daki tanjant modulusun 2.5mN/dtex.%,den
daha yüksek olmasini öngeren bu uygulamada, kordlarin vulkanizayon prosesi
esnasinda kusak kauçugunu (coating rubber) kesme riski söz konusudur. Bu
yüzden proses esnasindaki lastik çap artisinin (process expansion) maksimum %2
olmasi öngörülmektedir.
Lastigin yüksek hiz dayanimini (high speed durability) artirmak için kusak
katmanlari üzerinde yer alan kusak üstü takviye kordlarinin, yüksek hizdaki
santifüj kuvvetten kaynaklanabilecek lastik çapindaki artisa (tire growth) direnç
göstermesi gerekir.
Kusak üstü takviye kordlarinda olusan bu direnç,
A- vulkanizasyon prosesi sonunda, kusak üstü takviye kordlarinda olusan
kuvvet/stres, (cold residual tension),
B- yüksek hiz dolaysiyla yükselen kusak bölgesi sicakligi dolaysiyla meydana
gelen termal kisalma kuvveti(thermal shrinkforce),
C- ve sözkonusu sicakliktaki kord modulusunun olusturdugu dirençlerin
toplamindan olusmaktadir.
Bulusun Kisa Açiklamasi
Bulusun amaci, termal kisalma kuvvetinin arttirilmasi ile yüksek hiz ve sicaklikta
kordun kusak üzerindeki baskisinin arttirildigi bir pnömatik radyal lastik
gerçeklestirmektir.
Bu amaca ulasmak için, US7584774ldeki gibi yüksek moduluslu polietilen
terefitalat yerine, daha düsük moduluslu polietilen terefitalat kullanilmasi
öngörülmektedir. Ancak, bu polietilen terefitalat kordun termal kisalma kuvveti
(thermal shrinkforce) yükseltilerek etkinligi artirilmistir. Yüksek hizla artan
sicakliga bagli olarak polietilen terefitalat kordun modulusu düserken, termal
kisalma kuvveti artmaktadir. Bulus konusu pnömatik radyal lastikte bulunan
polietilen terefitalat korddaki bu artis, önceki teknige (US7584774) göre çok daha
yüksektir.
Bulusun Ayrintili Açiklamasi
Bu bulusun amacina ulasmak için gerçeklestirilen “Pnömatik radyal lastik” ekli
sekillerde gösterilmis olup; bu sekillerden:

Bulus konusu pnömatik radyal lastik (l), yüksek hiz dayanimini(high speed
durability) artirmak icin, özel heat-set prosesi uygulanarak termal kisalma kuvveti
(thermal shrinkage force) arttirilmis düsük moduluslu polietilen terefitalat kord ile
olusturulan kusak üstü takviye seridlerine sahiptir.
Bir isil islem olan bu heat-set prosesi polietilen terefitalat kordun 220-240°C da
da %1 ile %5 arasinda gerilmesini(uzatilma, cold stretching) kapsar.Bu proses
kord modulusunu belirli degerler arasinda tutarken (160°C da 2.0-2.5mN/dtex.%
araliginda), 177°C daki termal kisalma kuvvetini 2.0mN/dtex`in üzerine çikarir.
Heat-set prosesinde, polietilen terefitalat kordlar ayni zamanda RFL dip solüsyonu
ile muamele edilerek lastikle yapisma özelligine kavusturulurlar. Polimer
yumusama sicakligi (glass transition temperature), naylon 6.6 dan yüksek olan
polietilen terefitalat, naylon 6.6 ya göre lastikte daha az geçici
yassilasmayaülatspot) yol açar.
Bulus konusu pnömatik radyal lastikte (l) kullanilan takviye seritlerini olusturan
polietilen terefitalat kordlar, 160 °C”da %3 ila %5 uzamalar arasindaki sekant
modulus degeri 2.0-2.5 mN/dtex.% araligindadir. Diger bir deyisle bu degerler,
sekil-1 de A ve B noktalarini birlestiren dogrunun egimini (%1 uzama için) ifade
ederler. Sekant modulus degerinin hesaplanmasi su sekilde gerçeklestirilmektedir:

Bulus konusu pnömatik radyal lastiginde (l), yüksek hiz ve sicaklikta kordun
kusak üzerindeki baskisini artirmak amaci ile termal kisalma kuvveti artirilmis
olup 177 oC7deki degeri 2.0mN/dtex`in üzerine çikarilmistir. 2.5mN/dtex.% in
üzerindeki modulus lastigin üretim prosesi esnasinda asiri gergin kordlara yol
açabilir. 2.0mN/dtex.% in altindaki modulus ise genellikle beraberinde termal
kisalma kuvvetinde de azalmaya yol açacagindan kusak üzerinde yeterli baskiyi
temin edemez. Termal kisalma kuvveti (thermal shrinkforce) sicakligin
fonksiyonu olarak artis göstereceginden, 177 OC°deki minimum 2.0 mN/dtex lik
deger, yüksek sicaklikta azalan kord modulusuna pozitif yönde katkida bulunarak
kusak üzerinde yeterli baskinin olusmasina yardimci olur.
Kusak üstü takviye kordlari kusak üzerine tek veya çift kord olarak sarilabilecegi
gibi, eni 5mm ila 30mm arasinda, tercihan 8mm ila 15mm arasinda degisen
seritler halinde de sarilabilir. Bu seritler kauçukla kaplanmis (kalenderlenmis)
olarak veya kauçukla kaplanmamis kullanima hazir (ready to use) olarak da

Kusak üstü seridindeki PET kordlarin dogrusal yogunluklari (linear densities) 300
seridindeki PET kordlarin kord büküm seviyesi 100 ila 800 tpm (turns per meter,
hüküm/metre), tercihan 200 ila 400 tpm arasinda degisebilir.
Bulus konusu pnömatik radyal lastikte (1), kordun 160 OC`deki sekant modulus
degeri, geleneksel uygulamalara kiyasla daha düsüktür. Fakat sekant
modulusundaki bu fark, yüksek termal kisalma kuvveti tarafindan
dengelenmektedir. Bulus konusu pnömatik radyal lastikte (l) kullanilan polietilen
terefitalat kusak üstü takviye kordu, 160 OC7de, %3 ila %5 uzamalar arasinda
2.5mN/dtex.%`in altinda, fakat 2.0mN/dtex.%`in üzerinde bir sekant modulusa
sahiptir. Ayni zamanda ASTM D885`e göre l77°C da ölçülen termal kisalma
kuvveti(thermal shrinkforce) 2.0 mN/dtex den büyüktür.
Claims (7)
- . Yüksek hiz dayanimmi (high speed durability) ve yüksek hiz sonrasi park halindeki soguma sonucu, araç lastiginde olusan geçici yassilasmanin (flatspot) azaltilmasmi saglamak amaciyla, - 160°C”da, %3 ile %5 uzamalar arasindaki sekant modulusu 2.0 ile 2.5 mN/dtex.%”un arasinda olan, - 177 °C”daki termal kisalma kuvvetleri (thermal shrinkforce, ASTM
- D885`e göre) 2.0mN/dtex`in üzerinde olan ve, ve müteakiben 140-200 °C°da %1 ile %5 arasinda gerilmesini (uzatilma, cold stretching) yapilarak elde edilen polietilen terefitalat kordlardan ile olusturulan kusak üstü takviye seridi ile karakterize edilen pnömatik radyal lastik (1).

Tek veya cift kordlarin veya eni 5mm ila 30mm degisen kusak üstü takviye seritlerinin spiral olarak sarimindan elde edilen kusak üstü takviye seridi ile karakterize edilen Istem ldeki gibi bir pnömatik radyal lastik 10mm”lik eninde bulunan kord adedi, 5 ila 20 arasinda degisen kusak üstü takviye seridi ile karakterize edilen yukaridaki istemlerden herhangi birindeki gibi bir pnömatik radyal lastik (1).

- 6. Çelik kusak paketi üzerine, kusak üstü takviye katman1(cap ply) olusturmak amaci ile ekvatoral düzlemle O ile 5O arasinda bir açi ile spiral olarak sarilan kusak üstü takviye seridi ile karakterize edilen yukaridaki istemlerden herhangi birindeki gibi bir pnömatik radyal lastik (l).
- 7. Kusak üstü takviye takviye katmaninin eni, altindaki kusak paketi enine esit veya daha büyük olmasi ile karakterize edilen yukaridaki istemlerden herhangi birindeki gibi bir pnömatik radyal lastik( 1).
