图1示出了一些实施例可在其中被实现的示例操作环境100。在操作环境100中,作为网络内通信会话的一部分,演进型节点B(eNB)102可以分别通过链路108和110与一个或多个UE104、106通信。所讨论的技术和场景不限于示例操作环境100中所示出的数目或类型的eNB和UE,因为任何合适的数目和类型可被使用。例如,eNB102不限于所示出的塔配置。UE104、106在小区114内并且eNB102服务于小区114。
除网络内通信会话外,eNB102和UE104、106还可以支持UE104、106或其他UE(图1中未示出)之间的直接连接。这样的通信可以被称为设备对设备(D2D)通信。例如,UE104、106之间的D2D通信会话可以在链路112上进行。在一些实施例中,D2D通信会话将在上行链路(UL)上发生,其中eNB102为D2D通信分配UL资源。
D2D发现是使能D2D通信的第一步。根据针对长期演进(LTE)的第3代合作伙伴计划(3GPP)标准组的当前标准,存在至少两种类型的D2D发现过程:第1类型和第2类型。
在第1类型的D2D发现过程的一些实现方式中,eNB102将在非UE专用的基础上分配用于发现信号传输的资源。因此,包括多个分立的D2D发现资源的D2D发现资源池可被用于小区114内的全部UE或小区114内的一组UE。在一些实现方式中,单一D2D发现资源可以在频率上跨两个物理资源块(PRB)对并且在时间上跨一个子帧。在一些实现方式中,eNB102将以半静态的方式为发现分配周期性UL资源。eNB102能够使用无线资源控制(RRC)信令执行资源分配。UE104、106可以被配置为使用正交频分多址(OFDMA)、单载波频分多址(SC-FDMA)或其他多址方案来支持与其他UE的D2D通信。UE104、106在半双工约束下发送和接收发现信号。
在第2类型的D2D发现过程的一些实现方式中,eNB102将在UE专用的基础上分配用于发现信号传输的资源。eNB102因此可以向小区114中的任何具体UE104、106分派一个或多个D2D发现资源的集合。根据当前3GPP标准,第2类型的发现可以是以下两种类型中的任一种:第2A类型,其中eNB102针对发现信号的每次具体的传输实例向UE104、106分配资源;或第2B类型,其中eNB102可以半持续地为由UE104、106进行的发现信号传输分配资源。
本文公开的实施例提供了用于分配资源以支持LTE接近度服务(ProSe)D2D发现的方法。下面参考第1类型发现和第2类型发现描述一些实施例。然而,应理解的是,实施例可以被扩展到其他发现过程类型,包括可以在3GPP标准族或其他标准的后续版本或修订中实现的发现过程类型。此外,虽然这里参照D2D发现资源池描述了实施例,但是在一些实现方式中,并且在3GPP标准族的一些版本或修改中,D2D发现资源池可被称作D2D发现区。
在一些可用系统中,UE104、106能够通过从D2D发现资源池中选择要在其上发送发现信号的一个D2D发现资源来参与D2D发现。然而,由于半双工约束,在D2D资源上发送发现信号的UE104、106将不能接收在该同一D2D资源上传输的发现信号。这可能导致增大的发现延迟,该延迟取决于在频率维度上正交的(例如,通过频分复用(FDM))UE的数目。延迟还可以取决于D2D发现资源池的周期性。
为解决这些以及其他顾虑,实施例扩展了可用发现过程以在每个D2D发现资源池内允许由UE104、106进行的多个发现信号的传输。通过允许这多个传输,实施例能够帮助实现更好的发现范围,因为接收发现信号的UE能够组合已经在D2D发现资源池的若干资源上被接收的发现信号的多个副本。多个传输也能够降低延迟,因为发现信号将在根据实施例实现的系统中更频繁地传输。此外,根据一些实施例,对于第2类型发现资源池的一些负载条件,针对第2类型发现的UE专用资源分配的UE辅助机制能够帮助实现改进的资源分配,该改进的资源分配将在通告UE的接近范围内看到的由于带内发射导致的干扰考虑在内。
图2示出了UE200的框图,同时图3示出了eNB300的框图,UE200和eNB300实现方法以至少解决上面讨论的顾虑。应当注意到,在一些实施例中,eNB300可以是静态非移动设备。UE200可以是图1中描绘的UE104、106,同时eNB300可以是图1中描绘的eNB102。
天线201、203可以包括一个或多个定向或全向天线,包括例如偶极天线、单极天线、贴片天线、环形天线、微带天线或适于传输RF信号的其它类型的天线。在一些多输入多输出(MIMO)实施例中,天线201、301可以被有效地分离以利用空间分集以及可能产生的不同的信道特性。

用于发现信号传输的子发现资源池的分配
在支持针对D2D发现的资源分配的一个实施例中,eNB300针对由eNB102来提供服务的小区114(图1)逻辑地将D2D发现资源池划分为子发现资源池。这些资源能够具有同等的大小,但是实施例不限于此。例如,eNB102能够基于时间或基于频率来划分D2D发现资源池。eNB300然后将生成针对D2D发现资源池的配置信息,以至少包括关于该子划分(sub-division)的信息。例如,配置信息可以包括子划分的数目、子划分是基于时间做出的还是基于频率做出的等。eNB300然后将向小区114中的UE发送该配置信息。
UE200接收针对D2D发现资源池的配置信息。该配置信息可以从eNB300被接收,但是实施例不限于此,配置信息可以从相邻小区、更高层网络元件等被接收。配置信息将包括eNB300或其他实体已经逻辑地将D2D发现资源池划分为两个或更多个子发现资源池的指示。
UE200将在发现时段中使用来自两个或更多个子发现资源池中的第一子发现资源池的资源执行对发现信号的初始传输。发现信号可以包括根据针对LTE的3GPP标准族中的标准格式化的发现介质访问控制(MAC)协议数据单元(PDU)。
在该初始传输之后,UE200将执行对发现信号的多次附加传输。UE200将在与UE做出初始传输的同一发现时段内做出这些附加传输,并且UE200将使用来自两个或更多个子发现资源池中的除第一子发现资源池之外的附加子发现资源池的D2D发现资源。
UE200能够基于eNB300所提供的值来确定要执行的附加传输的数目。eNB300能够以各种方式提供此值。作为示例,在一些实施例中,eNB300将在针对D2D发现资源池的配置信息内提供指示UE200在发现时段内重复发现信号的频率的显式字段。作为另一示例,UE200可以基于D2D发现资源池的逻辑子划分来推断要进行的附加传输的数目。通过说明的方式,如果针对D2D发现资源池的配置信息指示D2D发现资源池已经被划分为十个子发现资源池,则UE200可以推断要对发现信号进行十次传输。然而,实施例不限于任何特定的方式来通过信号将该传输数目的值通知给UE200。另外,监听UE能够使用该值来确定应预期由发送UE发送多少发现信号传输。此外,监听UE能够将该值与跳跃模式(后文将更详细地描述)相组合以确定预期由发送UE进行的下一发现信号的传输在哪个资源上进行。
在一些实施例中,UE200将根据随机算法从第一子发现资源池中至少选择第一D2D发现资源来用于发现信号的初始传输,其中随机算法操作以使得任何D2D发现资源将被从子发现资源池中选择的概率等于任何其他D2D发现资源将被从子发现资源池中选择的概率。然而,本发明中公开的想法能够被应用于任何其他随机资源选择算法。至少在这些实施例中,UE200将基于D2D发现资源池内部跳跃模式从子发现资源池中选择另外的资源,D2D发现资源池内部跳跃模式将一个子发现资源池的资源映射到两个或更多个子发现资源池内的另一子发现资源池的资源。例如,跳跃模式可以将子发现资源池中在其上执行初始传输的资源映射到其他资源。以此方式,监听UE(图2中未示出)除其他参数外还能够使用跳跃模式来获知预期发现信号的初始传输之后的附加传输在其上的资源的位置。监听UE然后能够组合发现分组以提升检测性能,特别是对于信噪比(SNR)受限的UL。
eNB300或其他实体能够定义跳跃模式以缓解半双工约束。在一些实施例中,至少当eNB300基于时间逻辑地子划分D2D发现资源池时,UE200可以在来自就时间而言相对于第一子发现资源池为下一可用时间资源的子发现资源池的D2D发现资源上执行附加传输。至少在这些实施例中,跳跃模式不限于跳频。
在一些实施例中,UE200能够根据随机算法为发现资源的每次传输选择D2D发现资源,其中UE200以在D2D发现资源池中的可用资源之间相等的概率从D2D发现资源池(或子发现资源池)中选择可用D2D发现资源之一。然而,本发明中公开的想法能够被应用于任何其他随机算法。在这些实施例中,UE200能够从整个D2D发现资源池或者从第一子发现资源池中为初始传输选择第一D2D发现资源。随后,UE200能够独立地从不包括第一D2D发现资源的集合或者从第二子发现池中选择第二D2D发现资源。UE200然后将从既不包括第一子发现资源池也不包括第二子发现资源池等的集合重复该处理。在这些实施例中,监听UE可能无法组合在发现资源池内接收的分组的多个副本,因为监听UE将不能预测预期每个发现信号的传输在其上的资源的位置。然而,这些实施例可以显现较少的来自半双工约束的影响,从而提升发现延迟性能。
根据一些实施例,UE能够通过实现分布式随机沉默机制来控制干扰。例如,在一些实施例中,UE200能够决定是否在给定发现时段期间发送发现信号。如果UE200决定在该发现时段期间进行发送,则UE200将在D2D发现资源池内发送该发现信号达所配置的次数。UE200能够针对预定义的跳跃模式被用于从子发现资源池中选择D2D发现资源的情形实现该实施例,但是实施例不限于此。监听UE可以因此能够更有效地组合发现信号传输,因为监听UE知道预期每个子发现资源池上的发现信号。
在其他实施例中,UE200可以在发现信号的每次传输前针对每个子发现资源池决定是否在该子发现资源池上发送发现信号。UE200可以针对UE200不使用跳跃模式的情形(换言之,在UE200使用本文先前所描述的随机化的选择算法来选择每个子发现资源池的情形下)实施该实施例,但是实施例不限于此。
UE200可以基于由eNB300提供的传输概率因子、根据沉默/静音协议做出关于是否发送的决定。在一个实施例中,eNB300通过配置沉默/静音协议控制发现分组的有效到达率,并从而控制D2D发现资源池内的干扰级别。根据沉默/静音协议,打算发送发现分组的每个UE200从D2D发现资源池内选择资源,然后以某一概率(1-p)(0≤p≤1)来发送该分组,其中p是沉默因子。上级的网络层能够以网络共同的方式或小区专用的方式来配置p。一些实施例能够包括根据各种算法或标准的随机沉默因子,比如,通过为全部支持ProSe的UE提供固定沉默因子。另外,UE200能够根据在先的D2D发现资源池中的发现分组的传输的历史来以分布式方式调整沉默因子。
UE辅助机制
一些实施例提供了UE辅助机制以通过提供干扰避免来增强UE专用资源分配。如本文在前面所描述的,使用第2类型发现过程,eNB300以UE专用的方式来分派资源。虽然eNB300能够以UE专用的方式来分派资源以使得多个UE不能在相同D2D发现资源上发送发现信号,但是eNB300可能不知道从针对不同UE的不同物理资源块(PRB)对上的带内发射产生的干扰状况。因此,实施例提供了利用UE200关于干扰状况的认知的机制。
UE200能够向eNB300发送对用于发现信号的传输的D2D发现资源的UE专用分配的资源请求,其中,该资源请求包括针对D2D发现资源的功率测量报告。该请求能够包括第2类型D2D发现资源池内具有最低接收功率的M个发现资源的索引,其中M是大于或等于1的整数。在其他实施例中,该请求能够包括特定子发现资源池内、相对于任何特定子发现资源池的其他D2D发现资源具有最低接收功率的M个D2D发现资源的索引。虽然本文已经描述了功率测量,但是UE200还能够提出任何其他用于确定干扰状况的测量。
UE200能够使用由eNB300先前提供的针对D2D发现资源池的配置信息来帮助提供功率测量报告。该配置信息能够包括关于D2D发现资源池是第1类型发现资源池还是第2类型发现资源池的指示。如果D2D发现资源池是第2类型发现资源池,则UE200当处于RRC_IDLE(RRC空闲)时将通过监听全部资源并且测量这些资源上的接收功率来监测D2D发现资源池。基于这些测量,UE200能够随资源请求一起发送UE200在其上测得最低接收功率的M个发现资源的索引。并且,虽然本文已经描述了功率测量,但是UE200还能够提出任何其他用于确定干扰状况的测量。
eNB300能够使用来自请求第2类型D2D发现资源池内用于第2类型发现的资源的全部UE的测量信息来向UE分配资源以降低或消除干扰。为了限制信令开销,具有最低接收功率的资源的数目可以被限制为较小数目(例如,M=3或5)。
通过在eNB300处提供对UE测量的集中化处理,实施例能够为根据第2类型发现过程发送发现信号的UE提供更高的发现概率。在各种实施例中,eNB300能够分析来自请求UE的报告并且除其他标准外还根据小区中的UE之间的地理关系来分配资源。例如,eNB300可以分配资源以使得彼此在阈值距离内的UE同时发送发现信号以最小化带内发射影响和同步问题。此外,由于相对较好的传播条件,靠近放置的UE能够基于发现信号的较少传输来彼此成功地解码发现信号。因此,通过允许在不同时间资源中仅使用若干(一到二的量级)传输机会来进行传输,这些UE之间的半双工问题能够得以解决。此外,eNB300能够使用从不同UE到eNB300的路径增益来确定如何分配用于发现信号传输的资源。
在一个实施例中,eNB300可以根据第2A类型发现过程分析UE200报告并且向能够根据针对D2D发现资源池的地理接近度而被分为一组的UE分派通过时分复用(TDM)正交化的资源。至少在这些实施例中,eNB300根据第2B类型发现过程分配资源,以使得属于每个组的UE即使在具有跨多个D2D发现资源池的资源跳跃的情况下仍通过FDM被正交化。
在一些实施例中,eNB300能够基于eNB300所服务于的小区内的UE的优先等级来分配资源。eNB300能够配置在第一时刻处具有第一大小的第一D2D发现资源池和在第二时刻处具有第二大小的第二D2D发现资源池,其中各个资源池的大小和为由每个UE在每个发现时段内进行的多个发现信号的传输分配的个体D2D发现资源的数目是基于诸如小区内的UE的数目和优先等级之类的标准的。
eNB300可以基于小区负载确定是否执行UE辅助机制。例如,如果小区负载降到阈值以下,则充足的资源应可用于有效地正交化来自UE的传输。因此,eNB300可以基于负载状况启用或禁用UE200功率测量。相关地,如果这样的功率测量报告被禁用,则发现延迟可以被降低或消除,因为UE200能够发送资源请求而不用花费时间来执行功率测量。
针对D2D发现资源池的网络共同配置,可以在相邻小区之间提供协作以实现UE专用D2D发现资源分配的好处。因为D2D发现资源池的长周期性,即使在eNB之间有非理想回程连接的情况下,这样的协作也能够实现。
虽然UE200和eNB300被各自示为具有若干分离的功能元件,但是功能元件中的一个或多个可以被组合并且可以通过软件配置的元件(比如,包括数字信号处理器(DSP)的处理元件)和/或其它硬件元件的组合被实现。例如,一些元件可以包括一个或多个微处理器、DSP、现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)、专用集成电路(ASIC)、射频集成电路(RFIC)以及各种硬件和用于至少执行本文所述的功能的逻辑电路的组合。在一些实施例中,功能元件可以指在一个或多个处理元件上操作的一个或多个处理。

在操作402,UE200从eNB300接收针对eNB300所服务于的小区的D2D发现资源协议的配置信息。配置信息包括D2D发现资源已经被逻辑地分为多个子发现资源池的指示。

1.一种包括硬件处理电路的用户设备(UE),所述硬件处理电路被配置为:
接收关于小区的设备对设备(D2D)发现资源池的配置信息,所述配置信息包括所述D2D发现资源池已经被逻辑地划分为多个子发现资源池的指示;
在发现时段内使用来自所述多个子发现资源池中的第一子发现资源池的单一D2D发现资源来执行发现信号的初始传输;以及
在所述发现时段内使用来自所述多个子发现资源池中除所述第一子发现资源池外的子发现资源池的附加D2D发现资源来执行所述发现信号的多次附加传输。

12.如权利要求1所述的UE,其中,所述发现信号包括根据针对长期演进(LTE)的第3代合作伙伴计划(3GPP)标准族的标准而被格式化的发现介质访问控制(MAC)协议数据单元(PDU)。
13.一种包括硬件处理电路的eNB,所述硬件处理电路被配置为:
向所述eNB所服务于的小区内的用户设备(UE)发送关于所述小区的第2类型设备对设备(D2D)发现资源池的配置信息;以及
以UE专用的方式向UE分配D2D发现资源以用于发现信号的传输。
14.如权利要求13所述的eNB,其中,所述硬件处理电路还被配置为:
基于所述小区内的UE的优先等级分配UE专用的D2D发现资源。
15.如权利要求13所述的eNB,其中,所述硬件处理电路还被配置为:
将第一D2D发现资源池配置为在第一时刻处具有第一大小;以及
将第二D2D发现资源池配置为在第二时刻处具有第二大小。
16.如权利要求13所述的eNB,其中,所述硬件处理电路还被配置为接收针对所述D2D发现资源的功率测量报告,并且基于所述功率测量报告以UE专用的方式从所述D2D发现资源中分配资源。
17.如权利要求16所述的eNB,其中,如果UE位于彼此的阈值距离内,则所述eNB向这些UE分配通过时分复用(TDM)被正交化的资源。
18.一种存储有指令的非暂态机器可读介质,所述指令由一个或多个处理器执行以将用户设备(UE)配置为:
接收关于小区的设备对设备(D2D)发现资源池的配置信息,所述配置信息包括所述D2D发现资源池已经被逻辑地划分为多个子发现资源池的指示;
在发现时段内使用来自所述多个子发现资源池中的第一子发现资源池的D2D发现资源来执行发现信号的初始传输,所述发现信号包括根据针对长期演进(LTE)的第3代合作伙伴计划(3GPP)标准族的标准而被格式化的发现介质访问控制(MAC)协议数据单元(PDU);以及
在所述发现时段内使用来自所述多个子发现资源池中除所述第一子发现资源池外的一个或多个子发现资源池的多个D2D发现资源中的一个或多个D2D发现资源来执行所述发现信号的多次附加传输。
19.如权利要求18所述的非暂态机器可读介质,其中,所述指令还将所述UE配置为:
基于将所述第一发现资源池的资源映射到所述多个子发现资源池中的其他子发现资源池的资源的跳跃模式来从所述多个子发现资源池中进行选择以用于附加传输。
20.如权利要求19所述的非暂态机器可读介质,其中,在所述发现时段内所述用于附加传输的D2D发现资源是针对时间相对于所述初始传输的下一可用时间资源,并且其中所述跳跃模式被限制为跳频。
21.一种方法,包括:
接收关于小区的设备对设备(D2D)发现资源池的配置信息,所述配置信息包括所述D2D发现资源池已经被逻辑地划分为多个子发现资源池的指示;
在发现时段内使用来自所述多个子发现资源池中的第一子发现资源池的D2D发现资源来执行发现信号的初始传输,所述发现信号包括根据针对长期演进(LTE)的第3代合作伙伴计划(3GPP)标准族的标准而被格式化的发现介质访问控制(MAC)协议数据单元(PDU);以及
在所述发现时段内使用来自所述多个子发现资源池中除所述第一子发现资源池外的一个或多个子发现资源池的多个D2D发现资源中的一个或多个D2D发现资源来执行对所述发现信号的多次附加传输,要被执行的所述附加传输的数目基于由服务于所述小区的演进型节点B(eNB)提供的值。
22.如权利要求21所述的方法,还包括:
基于将所述第一发现资源池的资源映射到所述多个子发现资源池中的其他子发现资源池的资源的跳跃模式来从所述多个子发现资源池中进行选择以用于附加传输。
23.如权利要求21所述的方法,还包括:
基于所述跳跃模式并且基于已经由所述eNB提供的关于所述附加传输的数目的值,确定在所述多个子发现资源池中的哪些子发现资源池上预期由发送UE发送的发现信号的所述初始传输以及所述附加传输。
24.一种包括硬件处理电路的用户设备(UE),所述硬件处理电路被配置为:
接收关于第2类型设备对设备(D2D)发现资源的配置信息;以及
向演进型节点B(eNB)发送针对D2D发现资源的UE专用分配以用于发现信号的传输的资源请求,其中所述资源请求包括针对所述D2D发现资源的功率测量报告。
25.如权利要求24所述的UE,其中,所述功率测量报告包括所述D2D发现资源池内的D2D发现资源的索引,相对于所述D2D发现资源池中的其他D2D发现资源,所述硬件处理电路已经针对这些D2D发现资源测得最低接收功率。
26.如权利要求24所述的UE,其中,所述功率测量报告包括子发现资源池内的D2D发现资源的索引,相对于所述子发现资源池的其他D2D发现资源,所述硬件处理电路已经针对这些D2D发现资源测得最低接收功率。
