Abstract
本发明提供一种液晶显示装置,将色阻层、光阻间隙物、及TFT层一同设于液晶面板的第二基板上,使得第二基板上各层之间的偏移量较小,对位精度较高;同时,由于背光模组设于靠近所述液晶面板的第一基板的一侧,同时所述第二基板采用顶栅型结构,从而使得当背光模组的光源从第一基板侧入射至液晶面板时,栅极可以对多晶硅层的沟道区进行遮盖,对第二基板的漏电流起到较大的改善作用;此外,第二基板侧底层的遮光金属层采用黑色金属制成,当外界光从第二基板侧入射时,由于遮光金属层在最底层,从而可防止因光从第二基板入射而造成金属反射引起面板对比度下降的问题;结构简单,与现有技术相比可省去黑色矩阵的制作。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种液晶显示装置。
背景技术
液晶显示装置(LiquidCrystalDisplay,LCD)具有机身薄、省电、无辐射等众多优点,得到了广泛的应用,如:移动电话、个人数字助理(PDA)、数字相机、计算机屏幕或笔记本电脑屏幕等。
现有市场上的液晶显示装置大部分为背光型液晶显示装置,其包括壳体、设于壳体内的液晶面板及设于壳体内的背光模组(Backlightmodule)。传统的液晶面板的结构是由一彩色滤光片基板(ColorFilterSubstrate)、一薄膜晶体管阵列基板(ThinFilmTransistorArraySubstrate,TFTArraySubstrate)以及一配置于两基板间的液晶层(LiquidCrystalLayer)所构成,其工作原理是通过在两片玻璃基板上施加驱动电压来控制液晶层的液晶分子的旋转,将背光模组的光线折射出来产生画面。
低温多晶硅(LowTemperaturePoly-silicon,LTPS)技术是新一代TFT基板的制造技术,与传统非晶硅(a-Si)技术的最大差异在于,低温多晶硅显示器反应速度较快,且有高亮度、高解析度与低耗电量等优点。由于LTPS具有高迁移率的优点,那么在进行像素设计时TFT基板开关的W/L(沟道宽度W与沟道长度L之比)就可以设计的很小,这样以来像素对应的开口率相对就比较高,具有极大的市场竞争优势。
请参阅图1,为一种现有液晶显示装置的示意图,该液晶显示装置包括液晶面板100、及设于所述液晶面板100下方的背光模组200。所述液晶面板100包括CF基板110、与所述CF基板110相对设置的TFT基板120、位于所述CF基板110与TFT基板120之间的液晶层130、及粘结所述CF基板110与TFT基板120的框胶140。
图2为图1中的液晶显示装置的液晶面板100的剖面结构示意图,其中所述CF基板110包括第一衬底基板400、设于所述第一衬底基板400上的黑色矩阵220和色阻层340、设于所述色阻层340上的第一平坦层350、及设于所述第一平坦层350上的主光阻间隙物370与辅光阻间隙物360。所述TFT基板120包括第二衬底基板210、设于所述第二衬底基板210上的遮光金属层390、设于所述第二衬底基板210与遮光金属层390上的第一绝缘层230、设于所述第一绝缘层230上的多晶硅层240、设于所述第一绝缘层230与多晶硅层240上的第二绝缘层250、设于所述第二绝缘层250上的栅极260、设于所述第二绝缘层250与栅极260上的第三绝缘层270、设于所述第三绝缘层270上的源/漏极280、设于所述第三绝缘层270与源/漏极280上的第二平坦层290、设于所述第二平坦层290上的公共电极层300、设于所述公共电极层300上的钝化层310、设于所述钝化层310上的像素电极层320;所述钝化层310与第二平坦层290上对应源/漏极280上方设有过孔500,所述像素电极层320经由所述过孔500与所述源/漏极280相接触。
在上述现有的液晶显示装置中,为防止像素边缘漏光,在CF基板110侧制作有黑色矩阵220进行遮挡。另外黑色矩阵220还有防止光从CF基板110侧入射时,TFT基板120侧的金属(主要是源/漏极280)反光造成面板的对比度下降的问题;且上述现有的液晶显示装置通过CF基板110和TFT基板120组合而形成,这样就要考虑到CF基板110侧的黑色矩阵220和TFT基板120侧的金属层的对组精度。在目前的制程能力下,无法做到完全无偏差,有时偏差会达到±5μm,这样实际制作出的液晶面板的开口率和设计值就会存在极大的差异,同时同一批次的液晶面板之间的开口率差值也会比较大,影响品质。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种液晶显示装置,具有较高的对组精度及开口率。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供一种液晶显示装置,包括液晶面板、及设于所述液晶面板下方的背光模组;
所述液晶面板包括第一基板、与所述第一基板相对设置的第二基板、位于所述第一基板与第二基板之间的液晶层、及粘结所述第一基板与第二基板的框胶;
所述第二基板包括衬底基板、设于所述衬底基板上的遮光金属层、设于所述衬底基板与遮光金属层上的第一绝缘层、设于所述第一绝缘层上的TFT层、设于所述TFT层上的第一钝化层、设于所述第一钝化层上的色阻层、设于所述色阻层上的第一平坦层、及设于所述第一平坦层上的光阻间隙物。
所述TFT层包括设于所述第一绝缘层上的多晶硅层、设于所述多晶硅层与第一绝缘层上的第二绝缘层、设于所述第二绝缘层上的栅极、设于所述第二绝缘层与栅极上的第三绝缘层、设于所述第三绝缘层上的源/漏极、设于所述第三绝缘层与源/漏极上的第二平坦层、设于所述第二平坦层上的公共电极层、设于所述第二平坦层与公共电极层上的第二钝化层、及设于所述第二钝化层上的像素电极层;所述第二平坦层与第二钝化层上对应所述源/漏极的上方设有过孔,所述像素电极层经由所述过孔与所述源/漏极相接触。
所述遮光金属层的材料为铬。
所述第一基板、衬底基板为玻璃基板。
所述背光模组设于靠近所述液晶面板的第一基板的一侧。
所述色阻层包括间隔设置的数个红色色阻块、数个绿色色阻块、及数个蓝色色阻块;所述遮光金属层在水平方向上完全遮盖所述色阻层上相邻的两色阻块的间隔区域。
所述第一绝缘层、第二绝缘层、第三绝缘层为氮化硅层、氧化硅层、或二者的复合结构;所述公共电极层、像素电极层的材料为氧化铟锡。
所述光阻间隙物包括主光阻间隙物、及辅光阻间隙物;所述主光阻间隙物与所述第一基板相接触;所述辅光阻间隙物与所述第一基板之间有间隙。
所述TFT层还包括设于所述第三绝缘层上的数据线。
所述遮光金属层在水平方向上完全遮盖所述多晶硅层、栅极、及源/漏极。
本发明的有益效果:本发明的液晶显示装置,将色阻层、光阻间隙物、及TFT层一同设于液晶面板的第二基板上,使得第二基板上的各层在进行制作时可通过光罩上预留的标记和前一层直接对位,从而各层之间的偏移量较小,对位精度较高;同时,由于背光模组设于靠近所述液晶面板的第一基板的一侧,同时所述第二基板采用顶栅型结构,从而使得当背光模组的光源从第一基板侧入射至液晶面板时,栅极可以对多晶硅层的沟道区进行遮盖,对第二基板的漏电流起到较大的改善作用,避免了由于光照而产生漏电流的问题;此外,第二基板侧底层的遮光金属层采用如铬等黑色金属制成,当外界光从第二基板侧入射时,由于遮光金属层在最底层,从而可防止因光从第二基板入射而造成金属反射引起面板对比度下降的问题;结构简单,与现有技术相比可省去黑色矩阵的制作,且具有较高的对组精度及开口率。

具体实施方式
为更进一步阐述本发明所采取的技术手段及其效果,以下结合本发明的优选实施例及其附图进行详细描述。
请参阅图3至图5,本发明提供一种液晶显示装置,包括液晶面板1、及设于所述液晶面板1下方的背光模组2。
如图3所示,所述液晶面板1包括第一基板11、与所述第一基板11相对设置的第二基板12、位于所述第一基板11与第二基板12之间的液晶层13、及粘结所述第一基板11与第二基板12的框胶14。
如图4所示,所述第二基板12包括衬底基板21、设于所述衬底基板21上的遮光金属层22、设于所述衬底基板21与遮光金属层22上的第一绝缘层23、设于所述第一绝缘层23上的TFT层20、设于所述TFT层20上的第一钝化层33、设于所述第一钝化层33上的色阻层34、设于所述色阻层34上的第一平坦层35、及设于所述第一平坦层35上的光阻间隙物39。
由于色阻层34、光阻间隙物39、及TFT层20一同设于液晶面板1的第二基板12上,使得第二基板12上的各层在进行制作时可通过光罩上预留的标记和前一层直接对位,从而各层之间的偏移量较小,对位精度较高,精度会在±0.6μm。
具体的,所述第一基板11、衬底基板21为玻璃基板。
具体的,所述背光模组2设于靠近所述液晶面板1的第一基板11的一侧。
具体的,所述色阻层34包括间隔设置的数个红色色阻块、数个绿色色阻块、及数个蓝色色阻块。所述遮光金属层22在水平方向上完全遮盖所述色阻层34上相邻的两色阻块的间隔区域,从而代替黑色矩阵起到防止像素漏光的作用。
具体地,所述TFT层20包括设于所述第一绝缘层23上的多晶硅层24、设于所述多晶硅层24与第一绝缘层23上的第二绝缘层25、设于所述第二绝缘层25上的栅极26、设于所述第二绝缘层25与栅极26上的第三绝缘层27、设于所述第三绝缘层27上的源/漏极28、设于所述第三绝缘层27与源/漏极28上的第二平坦层29、设于所述第二平坦层29上的公共电极层30、设于所述第二平坦层29与公共电极层30上的第二钝化层31、及设于所述第二钝化层31上的像素电极层32;所述第二平坦层29与第二钝化层31上对应所述源/漏极28的上方设有过孔301,所述像素电极层32经由所述过孔301与所述源/漏极28相接触。
由于背光模组2设于靠近所述液晶面板1的第一基板11的一侧,且所述第二基板12采用顶栅型结构,从而使得当背光模组2的光源从第一基板11侧入射至液晶面板1时,所述栅极26可以对多晶硅层24的沟道区进行遮盖,对第二基板12的漏电流起到较大的改善作用,避免了由于光照而产生漏电流的问题。
具体的,所述遮光金属层22在水平方向上完全遮盖所述多晶硅层24、栅极26、及源/漏极28,从而使得当外界光线从第二基板12的底面入射时,由于遮光金属层22在第二基板12的最底层,从而可以对光线进行屏蔽,防止第二基板12的TFT器件因为背沟道照光而产生漏电流。
同时,将所述遮光金属层22设置在第二基板12的最底层,还可以防止外界光线从第二基板12的底面入射时,在所述源/漏极28等金属层处造成光线反射,引起面板对比度下降的问题。
具体的,所述遮光金属层22采用黑色金属制成,优选的,所述遮光金属层22的材料为铬。
具体的,所述第一绝缘层23、第二绝缘层25、第三绝缘层27为氮化硅层、氧化硅层、或二者的复合结构。
具体的,所述光阻间隙物39包括主光阻间隙物37、及辅光阻间隙物36;所述主光阻间隙物37与所述第一基板11相接触;所述辅光阻间隙物36与所述第一基板11之间有间隙。
具体的,如图5所示,所述TFT层20还包括设于所述第三绝缘层27上的数据线38。
具体的,所述公共电极层30、像素电极层32的材料为氧化铟锡。
综上所述,本发明的液晶显示装置,将色阻层、光阻间隙物、及TFT层一同设于液晶面板的第二基板上,使得第二基板上的各层在进行制作时可通过光罩上预留的标记和前一层直接对位,从而各层之间的偏移量较小,对位精度较高;同时,由于背光模组设于靠近所述液晶面板的第一基板的一侧,同时所述第二基板采用顶栅型结构,从而使得当背光模组的光源从第一基板侧入射至液晶面板时,栅极可以对多晶硅层的沟道区进行遮盖,对第二基板的漏电流起到较大的改善作用,避免了由于光照而产生漏电流的问题;此外,第二基板侧底层的遮光金属层采用如铬等黑色金属制成,当外界光从第二基板侧入射时,由于遮光金属层在最底层,从而可防止因光从第二基板入射而造成金属反射引起面板对比度下将的问题;结构简单,与现有技术相比可省去黑色矩阵的制作,且具有较高的对组精度及开口率。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明后附的权利要求的保护范围。
Claims (10)
1.一种液晶显示装置,其特征在于,包括液晶面板(1)、及设于所述液晶面板(1)下方的背光模组(2);
所述液晶面板(1)包括第一基板(11)、与所述第一基板(11)相对设置的第二基板(12)、位于所述第一基板(11)与第二基板(12)之间的液晶层(13)、及粘结所述第一基板(11)与第二基板(12)的框胶(14);
所述第二基板(12)包括衬底基板(21)、设于所述衬底基板(21)上的遮光金属层(22)、设于所述衬底基板(21)与遮光金属层(22)上的第一绝缘层(23)、设于所述第一绝缘层(23)上的TFT层(20)、设于所述TFT层(20)上的第一钝化层(33)、设于所述第一钝化层(33)上的色阻层(34)、设于所述色阻层(34)上的第一平坦层(35)、及设于所述第一平坦层(35)上的光阻间隙物(39)。
2.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述TFT层(20)包括设于所述第一绝缘层(23)上的多晶硅层(24)、设于所述多晶硅层(24)与第一绝缘层(23)上的第二绝缘层(25)、设于所述第二绝缘层(25)上的栅极(26)、设于所述第二绝缘层(25)与栅极(26)上的第三绝缘层(27)、设于所述第三绝缘层(27)上的源/漏极(28)、设于所述第三绝缘层(27)与源/漏极(28)上的第二平坦层(29)、设于所述第二平坦层(29)上的公共电极层(30)、设于所述第二平坦层(29)与公共电极层(30)上的第二钝化层(31)、及设于所述第二钝化层(31)上的像素电极层(32);所述第二平坦层(29)与第二钝化层(31)上对应所述源/漏极(28)的上方设有过孔(301),所述像素电极层(32)经由所述过孔(301)与所述源/漏极(28)相接触。
3.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述遮光金属层(22)的材料为铬。
4.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述第一基板(11)、衬底基板(21)为玻璃基板。
5.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述背光模组(2)设于靠近所述液晶面板(1)的第一基板(11)的一侧。
6.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述色阻层(34)包括间隔设置的数个红色色阻块、数个绿色色阻块、及数个蓝色色阻块;所述遮光金属层(22)在水平方向上完全遮盖所述色阻层(34)上相邻的两色阻块的间隔区域。
7.如权利要求2所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述第一绝缘层(23)、第二绝缘层(25)、第三绝缘层(27)为氮化硅层、氧化硅层、或二者的复合结构;所述公共电极层(30)、像素电极层(32)的材料为氧化铟锡。
8.如权利要求2所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述光阻间隙物(39)包括主光阻间隙物(37)、及辅光阻间隙物(36);所述主光阻间隙物(37)与所述第一基板(11)相接触;所述辅光阻间隙物(36)与所述第一基板(11)之间有间隙。
9.如权利要求2所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述TFT层(20)还包括设于所述第三绝缘层(27)上的数据线(38)。
10.如权利要求2所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述遮光金属层(22)在水平方向上完全遮盖所述多晶硅层(24)、栅极(26)、及源/漏极(28)。
