Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种包括端子连接部和电线连接部的连接端子,在该连接端子中,利用防腐蚀材料覆盖电线暴露在电线连接部外的部分。
背景技术
专利文献1公开了传统的连接端子。如图1至3所示,传统的连接端子50包括:要与配合端子连接的端子连接部51;连接于电线W的电线连接部52;以及将端子连接部51连接到电线连接部52的颈部53。电线连接部52包括一对压接片52a。利用压接片52a一体地压接电线W的导体60的露出部与绝缘护套61的一部分。在电线连接部52中,利用作为防腐蚀材料的焊料55覆盖水可能浸到电线W的区域。特别地,焊料55设置成覆盖着导体60的位于压接片52a外部的露出部,并且覆盖设置在压接片52a互相面对并进行接触的部位中的间隙。
在传统的连接端子50中,即使当连接端子50浸水时,也能够防止水浸到导体60。特别地,在导体60由铝制成的情况下,能够防止电化腐蚀。

发明内容
以通过使用焊铁施加熔融状态的焊料,或施加焊剂然后加热的方式,提供作为防腐蚀材料的焊料55。
在常规的连接端子50中,电线连接部52和端子连接部51经底壁连接。因此,熔融状态的焊料55倾向于朝端子连接部51从连接部52流出。如果焊料55从连接部52流出,则在电线连接部52上的焊料55的涂覆量减少,并且焊料55的止水性能因此下降。止水性能的下降可能造成电线连接部52的电阻增加以及电线固定能力的下降。
鉴于上文描述的常规问题,已经提出了本发明。本发明的一个目的是提供一种连接端子,该连接端子能够防止由于防腐蚀材料的止水性能的下降引起的电线连接部的电阻增加以及电线固定能力的下降。
根据本发明的第一方面的连接端子包括:将与配对端子相连接的端子连接部;连接到该端子连接部和电线的电线连接部;防腐蚀材料,设置该防腐蚀材料以覆盖电线连接部中水可能渗透从而被灌到电线的区域;以及防腐蚀材料保持部,该防腐蚀材料保持部朝向端子连接部设置在电线连接部中。
可以以使电线连接部的压接片弯曲的方式形成防腐蚀保持部。
防腐蚀保持部可以是设置在电线连接部的底壁上的凹部。
可以以电线连接部的底壁被切割并且向上弯曲的方式形成防腐蚀保持部。
依照根据本发明的第一方面的连接端子,在用防腐蚀材料覆盖电线连接部的外部上的电线露出部时,防腐蚀材料保持部防止熔融状态的防腐蚀材料流向端子连接部。因此,能够防止由于防腐蚀材料的止水性能的下降引起的电线连接部的电阻增加以及电线固定能力的下降。

在下文中,将参照附图来说明根据本发明的实施例。
(实施例)
图4至图6示出本发明的一个实施例。
根据该实施例的连接端子1包括:端子连接部2,该端子连接部2要与配合端子(未示出)连接;电线连接部10,该电线连接部10连接到电线W;和颈部20,该颈部20将端子连接部2连接到电线连接部10。端子连接部2、电线连接部10和颈部20以使得由具有预定形状的铜合金制导电金属板弯曲的方式而形成。
端子连接部2包括方筒部3和安置在方筒部3内部的弹性接触片(未示出)。当配合端子插入到筒部3内时,配合端子利用弹性接触片的弹性恢复力与筒部3进行紧密接触。结果,配合端子电连接到端子连接部2。
电线连接部10包括:电线连接部底壁11;一对电线连接部侧壁12,该一对电线连接部侧壁12从电线连接部底壁11的两个侧缘延伸;和一对压接片13,该一对压接片13从各个电线连接部侧壁12进一步延伸。
每个压接片13都包括:导体压接部13a,该导体压接部13a朝着前侧定位;和护套压接部13b,该护套压接部13b连接于导体压接部13a并且朝着后侧定位。在每个压接片13中,护套压接部13b的延伸高度高于导体压接部13a的延伸高度。压接片13通过压接导体压接部13a来保持由铝或铝合金制成的电线W的导体30,并且通过压接护套压接部13b来保持电线W的绝缘护套31。即,导体30和绝缘护套31被压接片13一体地压接。
一对压接片13以压接片13的每个边缘互相面对并互相接触的方式压接。在绝缘护套31中,以图5(b)和图6(c)所示的方式压接护套压接部13b。
电线连接部10在端子连接部2侧上设置有防腐蚀材料保持部15。以端子连接部2侧上的压接片13的边缘被弯曲成L状的方式形成该防腐蚀材料保持部15。当将熔融状态的焊料25灌到防腐蚀材料保持部15中的L状的空间中时,由于焊料25的表面张力,熔融状态的焊料25被保持并且被存储在该空间中。
颈部20包括颈部底壁21和从该颈部底壁21的两个边缘向上伸长的一对颈部侧壁22。颈部底壁21和颈部侧壁22与端子连接部2以及与电线连接部10的每个壁一体化。
利用作为防腐蚀材料的焊料25,覆盖电线连接部10中水可能浸到电线W的区域。特别地,焊料25设置成覆盖着导体30的位于压接片13外部上的露出部,并且覆盖一对压接片13之间的间隙。可以以使得通过使用烙铁施加熔融状态的焊料、或施加焊剂并且然后加热的方式设置焊料25。
处熔融状态下的焊料25倾向于流向端子连接部2。然而,由于焊料25的表面张力,焊料25被存储在防腐蚀材料保持部15中,并且因此防止焊料25朝端子连接部2流动。由于利用优选量的焊料25覆盖电线连接部10,因此止水性能提高。因此,能够防止由于的止水性能的下降引起的电线连接部10的电阻增加以及电线固定能力的下降。具体地,在导体30由铝或铝合金构成的情况下,能够确实防止导体30的电化学腐蚀。
一旦由熔融状态的焊料25引起的热量被传输至绝缘护套31,绝缘护套31的外表面就变形,以填充存在于绝缘护套31的外表面与电线连接部10的内表面之间的间隙“d”(参见图6(c))。这样的变形还能够提高止水性能并且因此防止电线连接部10的电阻增加和电线固定能力的下降。
(修改实例)
如图7所示,根据该实施例的第一修改实例的连接端子1A设置有防腐蚀材料保持部15A,该防腐蚀材料保持部15A是设置在电线连接部底壁11上的凹部。由于该焊料25的表面张力,趋于流向端子连接部2的熔融状态的焊料25被存储并保持在防腐蚀材料保持部15A上,并且因此防止焊料25流向端子连接部2。
如图8所示,根据该实施例的第二修改实例的连接端子1B设置有防腐蚀材料保持部15B,以切割并向上弯曲颈部底壁21的方式形成该防腐蚀材料保持部15B。趋于流向端子连接部2的熔融状态的焊料25被防腐蚀材料保持部15B保持并且存储,并且因此防止焊料25流向端子连接部2。
防腐蚀材料保持部并不限于在该实施例、第一修改实例和第二修改实例中描述的构造,只要防腐蚀材料保持部能够保持和存储熔融状态的焊料25即可。
虽然焊料25被用作根据该实施例的连接端子1中的防腐蚀材料,但是油脂、热熔型粘合剂等也可以用作防腐蚀材料。
虽然根据该实施例的连接端子1中的导体30由铝或铝合金制成,但是导体30也可以由铜等制成。
工业实用性
本发明提供一种连接端子,该连接端子能够防止由于防腐蚀材料的止水性能的下降引起的电线连接部的电阻增加以及电线固定能力的下降。

Claims (1)

1.一种连接端子(1,1A,1B),包括:
电线(W),该电线包括导体(30)以及覆盖该导体(30)的绝缘护套(31),该导体(30)的一端侧从所述绝缘护套(31)露出;
端子连接部(2),该端子连接部将与配对端子相连接;
电线连接部(10),该电线连接部包括:连接到所述端子连接部(2)的底壁(11),从该底壁(11)的两侧缘延伸的一对侧壁(12)以及从所述各侧壁(12)进一步延伸的一对压接片(13),该压接片(13)压接于所述电线(W);
防腐蚀材料(25),设置该防腐蚀材料以仅覆盖所述导体(30)的位于所述压接片(13)外部上的露出部,并且覆盖所述压接片(13)之间的间隙;以及
防腐蚀材料保持部(15,15A,15B),该防腐蚀材料保持部朝向所述端子连接部(2)设置在所述电线连接部(10)中,以防止熔融状态的所述防腐蚀材料(25)流向所述端子连接部(2),其中,
以使每个所述压接片朝着所述底壁(11)弯曲成L状的方式形成所述防腐蚀材料保持部(15),并且
所述防腐蚀材料(25)灌到所述防腐蚀材料保持部(15)中的所述L状的空间中以被保持并且被存储在该空间中。
