具体实施方式
现在将参照附图更充分地描述示例性实施方式。
图1-图8示出了用附图标记10标示的示例性排气处理装置。排气处理装置10包括在壳体16内定位在第二基体14上游的第一基体12。第一基体12可以是柴油机氧化催化器或选择性的催化还原装置而第二基体14可以是柴油机微粒过滤器或泄漏式催化器。可以使用其他排气处理元件代替第一基体12和第二基体14。此外,本公开内容涉及包括位于壳体16内的一个或更多个基体的排气处理装置。在图中示出的2个基体的设置仅用于作说明的目的。
壳体16包括内壳组件18,该内壳组件18包括固定至内部入口22和内部出口24的中心管20。第一基体12和第二基体14通过使用填料或胶料方法被保持在内壳18内以压缩第一基体12与中心管20之间的第一垫28,和压缩第二基体14与中心管20之间的第二垫30。壳体16也包括限制内壳18的外壳34。绝缘材料36围绕内壳18并定位在外壳34与内壳18之间。
内端盖42包括固定至内部出口24的凸缘48。绝缘材料46限制在内端盖42与外端盖44之间。外端盖44包括固定至外壳34的凸缘50。内端盖42固定至外端盖44。出口管组件52包括固定在内管54的外管56。绝缘材料57定位在内管与外管之间。内管54包括延伸通过外壳34和内壳18从而与形成在第二基体14下游的腔60连通的第一端58。在出口管组件52的第二相对端处形成有出口62。
外罩72、内罩74和绝缘材料76相配合以封闭内壳组件18的和外壳34的与内端盖42相对的端部。外罩72包括多个向内延伸的突起部78,该多个向内延伸的突起部78各自包括延伸穿过其的孔80。内罩74包括定位成接合外罩72的向内延伸的突起部78的多个向外延伸的突起部82。挡板86与入口板88、入口管90以及内罩74配合。入口板88包括大致上为平面的部分96,该大致上为平面的部分96具有第一孔100,该第一孔100由延伸穿过入口板88的第一凸缘102限定。第二孔104由第二凸缘106限定。外周第三凸缘108限制了平面部分96。
挡板86包括大致上为平面的面板116,该大致上为平面的面板116具有孔118,该孔118由延伸穿过该面板116的凸缘120限定。轴向地突出的凸台124包括圆筒形壁126,该圆筒形壁126与端面128和平面面板116相交。多个孔132延伸穿过端面128。孔的尺寸有变化,孔132a具有比孔132b更大的直径,而孔132b又具有比孔132c更大的直径。具有最大直径的孔132a定位在最接近入口管90的、排气压力为最低的位置处。直径最小的孔132c定位在离入口管90最远的、排气压力为最大的位置。中间大小的孔132b定位在中间排气压力所在的位置处。通过以此种方式设置和设定孔的大小,基本上一致的排气流将进入挡板86与第一基体12的上游端138之间的腔136。多个周向地间隔开的槽142延伸穿过圆筒形壁126以有助于装配,如将会更详细地描述的。绝缘材料144围绕入口管90且被限制在挡板86的平面面板116与入口板88的平面部分96之间。入口孔罩146固定至入口管90和入口板88。绝缘材料147被限制在入口管90和入口孔罩146之间。在入口管90的端部附近形成有入口凸缘148以便将排气处理装置10联接至排气管道(未示出)。挡板86与外罩72间隔开以在内壳18与外罩72之间提供热障149。
排气处理装置10被构造成为使限定壳体组件16所需的部件的数量最小化。当制造壳体组件16时,可以预期的是特定的装配过程对于构建适用于长期服务的坚固组件是有用的。处理装置10的制造/装配过程可从冲压、成型或以其他方式获得先前介绍的部件开始。入口孔罩146定位在入口管90之上并焊接至入口管90。入口孔罩146被插入由凸缘106所限定的第二孔104中。入口孔罩146也焊接至凸缘106。
入口板88和入口管90的组件现在可以通过将第一凸缘102焊接至外壳34而联接至外壳34。绝缘材料144围绕入口管90设置。挡板86被定位成使得入口管90延伸穿过孔118。入口管90可以被定尺寸为使得在入口管90的外表面与挡板86的凸缘120之间存在压配的相互连接。内入口22的端部被接纳在由凸台124形成的中空部内,使得内入口22的圆筒形壁相邻于挡板86的圆筒形壁126。挡板86通过将突出物焊在周向地彼此间隔开的槽142中而固定至内壳18。
在该过程的这一点,入口板88、入口管90和挡板86联接至内壳18和外壳34。内罩74如图2所示的那样定位并且在凸缘120或圆筒形壁126相邻于内罩74的位置处焊接至挡板86。绝缘材料76被设置成与外罩72的内表面154相接触。外罩72和绝缘材料76被移动到位以将绝缘材料76限制在内罩74与外罩72之间。外罩72被焊接至入口板88的第三凸缘108。向内延伸的突起部78被焊接至向外延伸的突起部82。孔80通过诸如塞焊或密封焊之类的工序而用焊条材料填充。
内管54被定位成延伸穿过外壳34和内壳18以将第一端部58定位为与腔60连通。内管54压配至内壳18。绝缘材料57被缠绕在内管54的外表面上。外管56被定位成环绕内管54并且被密封焊接至外壳34。
应当理解的是,先前所描述的方法和排气处理装置10的结构构型减小了装置的整体尺寸。更特别地,相比于同类竞争装置,在以“A”标示的入口轴线与以“B”标示的基体轴线之间的偏移距离大幅地减小。本设置允许在轴线A与轴线B之间的距离基本上小于或等于外壳的半径和内管的内径之和。排气处理装置10的构型也提供了通过绝缘材料与内壳间隔开的外壳以维持在排气处理装置10内的排气的能量含量并使该装置的外表面温度最小化。本公开内容描述了位于在入口管90和出口管组件52的相互连接处及其周围的绝缘装置,而通常在这些位置是不被绝缘的。

Claims (19)

1.一种排气处理装置,包括:
内壳;
外壳;
绝缘材料,所述绝缘材料定位在所述内壳与所述外壳之间;
入口管,所述入口管具有与由所述内壳限定的腔连通的端部;
用于处理发动机排气的基体,所述基体定位在所述内壳内;
挡板,所述挡板包括多个孔,所述多个孔定位成使得排气在进入所述基体前穿过所述孔,所述挡板支承所述入口管和所述内壳的端部。
2.根据权利要求1所述的排气处理装置,其中,所述挡板包括与所述入口管接合的周向地延伸的凸缘。
3.根据权利要求2所述的排气处理装置,其中,所述挡板包括接纳所述内壳的端部的凹部。
4.根据权利要求3所述的排气处理装置,还包括入口板,所述入口板包括接纳所述入口管的第一孔和接纳所述外壳的第二孔。
5.根据权利要求4所述的排气处理装置,其中,所述入口管被压配至所述挡板。
6.根据权利要求5所述的排气处理装置,其中,所述挡板和所述入口板大致平行地延伸并且彼此间隔开。
7.根据权利要求6所述的排气处理装置,还包括定位在所述挡板与所述入口板之间的绝缘材料。
8.根据权利要求7所述的排气处理装置,还包括定位在所述基体的外表面与所述内壳的内表面之间的可压缩垫。
9.根据权利要求1所述的排气处理装置,其中,所述挡板包括围绕所述内壳的管状壁部,所述管状壁部包括多个周向地间隔开的槽,所述多个周向地间隔开的槽对与所述内壳进行焊接的焊接点进行接纳。
10.根据权利要求1所述的排气处理装置,其中,由所述入口管限定的排气流的轴线大致平行于流过所述基体的排气的轴线延伸,所述轴线之间偏移了大致小于或等于所述外壳的半径和所述入口管的内径之和的距离。
11.一种排气处理装置,包括:
外壳,所述外壳包括联接至外罩的外部管状体;
内壳,所述内壳包括联接至内罩的内部管状体;
绝缘材料,所述绝缘材料夹在所述内壳与所述外壳之间;
入口管,所述入口管具有与由所述内壳限定的腔连通的端部;
基体,所述基体定位在所述内壳内,用于处理发动机排气;
入口板,所述入口板固定至所述入口管和所述外部管状体;以及
挡板,所述挡板大致平行于所述入口板延伸,所述挡板被固定至所述内部管状体的端部且支承所述入口管的端部,所述挡板包括多个孔,所述多个孔定位成使得流过所述入口管的排气转过180度以在进入所述基体之前穿过所述孔。
12.根据权利要求11所述的排气处理装置,其中,所述挡板包括接纳所述内壳的端部的凹部。
13.根据权利要求12所述的排气处理装置,其中,所述挡板包括与所述入口管接合的周向地延伸的凸缘。
14.根据权利要求13所述的排气处理装置,其中,所述入口管被压配至所述挡板。
15.根据权利要求14所述的排气处理装置,还包括定位在所述挡板与所述入口板之间的绝缘材料。
16.根据权利要求11所述的排气处理装置,还包括在所述基体下游定位在所述内壳内的另一个基体。
17.根据权利要求16所述的排气处理装置,其中,流过所述入口管的所有所述排气穿过两个基体。
18.根据权利要求11所述的排气处理装置,其中,所述外罩包括多个向内的突出部,所述多个向内的突出部固定至所述外罩上多个向外的突出部,所述内罩的主部大致平行于所述挡板延伸。
19.根据权利要求11所述的排气处理装置,其中,所述挡板包括围绕所述内壳的管状壁部分,所述管状壁部分包括多个周向地间隔开的槽,所述多个周向地间隔开的槽对与所述内壳进行焊接的焊接点进行接纳。
