下面描述本发明的一个实施方式。根据下述实施方式的基于碳化硅的浇注料特别适合用于高炉出铁槽的内衬。
由含有60至95重量%碳化硅的耐火材料形成所述基于碳化硅的浇注料。为了确保理想的耐腐蚀性,碳化硅的含量必须为60重量%以上;然而,高于95重量%的含量降低流动性,并且也使适当地引入其他添加剂如粘合剂变得困难。所述碳化硅可以选自市售产品,并且优选具有90%以上的纯度。而且,碳化硅的粒径分布优选为从超细粒子至约12mm的范围内以确保足够的填充密度。
