合页部件含有热塑性树脂和聚有机硅氧烷的组合物,其各种性能部得到改善。
Description
本发明涉及合页部件,这类合页部件具有优良的铰合性能,在日用品、建筑材料、汽车及电气用具等方面有广泛用途。
附图简述如下:
图1系用作铰合性能测试的测试件示意图。(a)、(b)、(c)分别为合页部位的俯视、侧视及放大的侧视图。在这些图中,数字(1)表示铰合部位,其它数字系以毫米为单位。
此处提及的合页部件系如图1所示者,其中狭窄部位常常要经受多次弯曲或折叠作用,称之为转板(图中数字(1)标明的部位)。转板的形状没有具体限制,它可以为片状、带状或线状等等。转板的厚度与长度也没有限制,任何一种实质上起着合页作用的合页部件均包括在本发明的合页部件范围内。
本说明书的整个叙述过程中,铰合性能定义为:上述的合页经受多次频繁弯曲或折叠的耐久性。
热塑性树脂由于具有优良的加工性能,近年来在许多领域内取代金属获得了广泛的应用。在热塑性树脂中,热塑性的聚酯、聚缩醛、聚酰胺树脂等,因其具有优良的物理和化学性能,故广泛用作汽车、电气和电子设备、精密机械等的零件、建筑材料以及日常用品等。然而在这些应用领域内,有时对材料或材料的某个方面的性能还有特殊的要求,有时就包括对铰合性能的要求。如何满足这种要求,目前所知的方法还不多,但已知的一种方法是在热塑性树脂中加入一些橡胶材料以增强其铰合性能。
迄今为止所推出的上述一种方法固然会在一定程度上提供铰合性能,但未必能满足更严格的要求,而且常常要损害其它性能。
本发明的目的在于提供一种铰合性能优于一般合页部件而又不损害其它性能的合页部件。
本发明的各位发明人经过相继的刻苦钻研,旨在取得一种具有优良铰合性能的热塑性树脂模塑料,现已达到予期的目标。
因此,本发明涉及一种具有优良铰合性能的合页部件,这类部件是通过向热塑性树脂中加入聚有机硅氧烷制得共混料,然后再经模压而制成的。
本发明所提供的合页部件是包括热塑性树脂与聚有机硅氧烷的组合物。热塑性树脂可为聚酯、聚缩醛或聚酰胺。该组合物最好含70~99.5%(重量)的热塑性树脂和0.05~30%(重量)的聚有机硅氧烷。
本发明所用的热塑性树脂没有特殊限制,只要仍在广泛应用之中者都在考虑之列。聚酯(聚对苯二甲酸亚烷基酯或芳族聚酯)树脂、聚缩醛树脂、聚酰胺树脂等,在力学、电学、热学、化学及其它方面具有优良的综合性能,而且还具有优良的加工性能,故较为可取。这类树脂还可以进行改性:以这类树脂为主要成份,并含有其它种类的热塑性树脂、弹性体等为辅助成分。这类树脂一般适于制作具有上述各种性能的合页部件。但严格说来,这些树脂各具特色,所以按人们愿望利用它们可以制作具有不同性能、满足不同使用要求的合页部件。其中,热塑性聚酯树脂或聚缩醛树脂,或以这些树脂为主的改性热塑性树脂均具有优良的铰合性能;若要同时考虑其它的一般性能,则这类树脂尤为合宜。在热塑性聚酯树脂中,聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯树脂
尤为合宜。
聚有机硅氧烷系液态油状物,其粘度为0.5-1000000厘斯(cst),粘度为500-1000000厘斯者尤其适于加工要求。此类聚有机硅氧烷的例子有:聚二甲基硅氧烷、聚苯基甲基硅氧烷、氟改性的聚硅氧烷、烷基改性的聚硅氧烷、聚醚改性的聚硅氧烷、环氧改性的聚硅氧烷、醇改性的聚硅氧烷,等等。可以使用其中的一种、两种或多种。加入的这类聚有机硅氧烷的总量应为热塑组合物总重量的0.05-30%。用量低于此范围不能获得适当的铰合性能,但用量大于此范围有时会造成加工性能下降以及物理性能的大幅度降低。若要兼顾铰合性能、其它物理性能及加工性能,聚有机硅氧烷的用量范围最好应为0.3-10%(重量)。
制备本发明合页部件所用的热塑组合物中,可另加入各种熟知的添加剂,以便改善其性能,满足不同需要。添加剂实例中包括抗氧剂、耐气候与耐光老化的稳定剂、耐热老化的稳定剂、润滑剂、脱模剂、成核剂、抗静电剂、表面活性剂、着色剂以及纤维状、片状、粉状或粒状(球形)的无机填料(如玻璃纤维、玻璃碎片、玻璃珠、云母片、滑石粉、碳酸钾等)。通过在聚有机硅氧烷中加入增稠剂、分散剂等而制成脂状体、乳液及分散液等的办法是可行的。
采用熟知的加工方法和模压方法易于制得本发明的合页部件,所用的树脂中混有某种添加剂。例如,可采用如下所述的三种加工方法中的一种:ⅰ)将各种组分混合,然后将混合物捏合进入挤出机并从挤出机中挤出,做成切片后再行模压成型;ⅱ)将不同组分的混合料制成切片,再将其混合、模压成型,即得模制件;ⅲ)将不同组分直接装入模具进行模压,即制得本发明的模制件。
由上述热塑组合物所制得的合页部件显示优良的铰合性能,而又不损害其它性能以致影响实际使用。
本发明的组合物之所以能达到如此效果尽管原因尚不清楚,但确信是多种因素综合的结果,这些因素包括:模制件中产生应力松驰,尤其在铰合部位,由于存在上述的聚有机硅氧烷从而削弱了残余应力,阻止了铰合部位因弯曲或折叠应力所致的开裂;其次,当铰合部位遭受弯曲或折叠应力作用时,在聚有机硅氧烷作用下,分子之间彼此产生剪切和滑动,这就吸收了应力,从而阻止了折断;如此等等。
以下用优选实施例阐明本发明,但本发明的应用不限于此。
铰合性能用下述标准进行评价。所用的模压测试件的形状如图1所示。
测试样数目:n=10
测试方法:在23℃和50%相对湿度条件下将试样放置24小时或更久些,然后在相同条件下对其铰合部位各折叠100次,折叠角为180度(向上、向下各折90度)。
评价方法A:在100次折叠过程中,断裂的铰合部件数目。
评价方法B:按照以下标准评价经100次折叠后铰合部位的状态并按平均分数对结果进行评价。
0:铰合部位断裂;
1:铰合部位开裂后即将断开;
2:铰合部位变薄,只有表层还连着;
3:铰合部位裂纹变大;
4:铰合部位可观察到细小裂纹;
5:铰合部位发白。
实施例1-13,对比例1-2
在聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯树脂(商品名为“Juranex”,Polyplastics有限公司产品)中加入表1所列的各种聚有机硅氧烷,将其混匀,用30毫米内径的双螺杆挤出机把混合物熔融,捏合,制成切片状混料。用此切片模压成图1所示的铰合测试件和测试其它性能的标准测试件,然后进行铰合性能和其它性能的测试。普通性能的测试按照ASTM说明书中规定的方法进行。此外,为对比起见,对不加聚有机硅氧烷的树脂也按类似方法进行评价。
表1中所列的结果清楚说明,加入聚有机硅氧烷对于改善铰合性能具有显著效果。
实施例14-22和对比例3-4
按上述类似方法进行以下测试,使用聚缩醛树脂(商品为“DURACON”,Polyplastics有限公司产品)和聚酰胺树脂(商品名“POLYPLANYLON66”,Polyplastics有限公司产品)。
列于表2的结果表明,这些实施例中的铰合性能也有显著改善。
Claims (1)
1、合页部件,其包括一种选自聚酯、聚缩醛或聚酰胺的热塑性树脂,以及一种具有粘度为0.5到1,000,000厘斯的液态聚有机硅氧烷,其特征是所说的热塑树脂以70到99.5%(重量)的用量以及所说的聚有机硅氧烷以0.05到30%(重量)的用量,形成合页部件。
