Watch movement. The object of the invention is a watch -mouvement, in particular for celet watches, jewelry watches and other so-called shaped timepieces whose dimensions in length and in width are extremely reduced. This movement has a barrel which drives the escape wheel through the intermediary of three mobile units, the large medium, the small medium and the field wheel, each of these wheels comprising a pinion and a wheel.
Said mobiles are arranged so that the planes of rotation of their wheels are all located below the plane of rotation of the barrel and that, in their planar projection, said wheels encroach on the field of rotation of the barrel, while the Pinion of the small medium is arranged and pivoted under the barrel, between the plate and a bridge assembled with the latter.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view, from the rear side of the movement; Fig. 2 shows a developed section, on a slightly larger scale than FIG. previous, along the axes r1-13-C-D-E of fig. 1.
The oval movement shown comprises a barrel 1 housed in a previous core 2 of the plate 3. The barrel shaft is pivoted, on the one hand, in the plate 3 and, on the other hand, in a bridge 4 fixed on this turntable. 5 is the ratchet which is fitted to a square of the barrel shaft. The barrel drum drives the pinion 6 of the escapement wheel 7, via three moving parts comprising the pinion 8 and the large-medium wheel 9, the pinion 10 and the small-medium wheel 11, as well as the pinion 12 and the field wheel 13. These three moving parts are pivoted, on the one hand, in the plate 3 and, on the other hand, in two bridges 14 respectively 15 assembled with the plate 3 by means of screws 16. The two bridges 14 and 15 could however be replaced by a single bridge.
The planes of rotation of the three finishing wheels 9, 11 and 13 are all located below the plane of rotation of the barrel, that is to say on the rear side of the movement assuming the movement is laid flat, dial at the top; moreover, in their plane projection (fig. 1), these wheels encroach on the field of rotation of the barrel let 1. The small-medium pinion 10 is disposed entirely under the barrel, so that its wheel 11 even exceeds the center of this last. The field wheel 13 passes between the barrel and the bottom of its core 2.
The ratchet 5 is connected by gear, by means of a reference 17, to the crown wheel 18 which is controlled in a known manner by the winding pinion. The reference 17, the crown wheel 18 and the ratchet 5 ratchet members are mounted on the inner face of the bridge 4. The timer is controlled by the large wheel, or by means of a pin, or by a driven road with greasy friction. As for the time-setting mechanism, it can be established according to a known system suitable for the movement described.
The movement may differ in form from the example shown; it could have for example, a rectangular shape, barrel etc.
The particular arrangement of the moving parts of the movement described makes it possible to associate with a small caliber, without appreciably increasing the height of the latter, relatively large finishing mobiles and a balance, as well as a barrel having a motor spring whose height reaches at least a quarter of that of the movement, all of these factors contributing to obtaining good running and adjustment conditions.
