Watch movement. The subject of the invention is a watch movement, for example a watch movement with an anchor escapement.
The main object of the invention is to create a watch movement the bay of which is relatively large and therefore offers a large moment of inertia. If the invention is implemented, for example, in the form of a round watch movement, the diameter of the balance may be at least equal to the radius of the movement.
To this end, the motor barrel drives the pinion of the escape wheel by means of a gear train comprising five moving parts, none of which passes over the barrel. On the other hand, the balance passes over a finishing bridge, while the barrel drives the large-medium pinion via a pinion forming the first mobile and a return forming the second. mobile of the cog.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention. Fig. 1 shows a plan view of a round watch movement with an anchor escapement, while. that fig. 2 is a section on a larger scale along a broken line II-I1 not sant by the centers of rotation of the barrel, of the finishing wheels, of the escapement wheel and of the balance.
The barrel 3 drives the pinion 4 of the escape wheel 5 by means of five moving wheels comprising a center pin 6, a transmission return 7, the pinion 8 and the large wheel 9, the pinion 10, -and the small medium Il wheel, pinion 12 and second wheel 13.
The escape wheel 5 cooperates with the anchor 14 and the latter with the balance 15 held by the cock 16.
On the axis of the minute pinion 6 is mounted the carriageway 17 which carries the barrel wheel 18. We also distinguish the barrel ratchet 19 and the crown ratchet 20.
The frame of the movement comprises the plate 21, the barrel bridge 22, two finishing bridges 23, 24, the anchor bridge 25 and the cock 16.
None of the finishing mobiles passes over the barrel.
The finishing bridge 23 serves as a bearing for the center pinion 6, the transmission 7, the large-medium mobile 8, 9 and the small-medium mobile 10, 11.
The mobiles 12, 13 and 4, 5 (escapement wheel) are pivoted in the bridge 24. The seconds wheel 13 passes through a recess of the bridge 23 and on the upper pivot of the mobile 10, II. pivot which is fitted in a heel 23 'formed by said clearance and extending below deck 24.
The balance 15 passes in front, the bridge 24 and on the bridge 23 notched <L this effect at 26, so as to form a shoulder.
This arrangement offers the possibility of placing the balance on a high plane and of giving it relatively large dimensions and hence a large moment of inertia.
Thus, in the example shown in the drawing, the diameter of the balance is equal to the radius of the movement.
